Love Live The Bean!
Yes, Bittrex started out having the highest volume for Bitbean in the beginning, but now Cryptsy has the largest volume for Bitbean. The next update will be the Web Portal for Team Bean before the end of the month. That is a very critical piece of infrastructure before the wallet update comes out. There will be some significant improvements coming out in the wallet update. Wallet update release time is being moved ahead into June. It's going to contain a hard-fork with an overlap of at least 2 weeks (so both the existing wallet and the new one will co-exist during that time). Wallet Update Changes: * Planned hardfork (minimum 2 week cut-over) * GUI redesigned, numerous improvements * Addition of Transaction Based Staking (will help smaller wallets get more stakes, but all wallets will be able to participate) * A new innovative way to add Bitbeans to the wallet * A new way to fund development Please take a moment, and post ideas you would like to see. While we can't promise we'll implement all of them right away, we will consider each one seriously. http://www.bitbean.org/forum/what-would-you-like-to-see-in-the-bitbean-walletLove Live The Bean!

I don't know what is meant by " Addition of Transaction Based Staking " but as far as I understand it could be like a pool in POW only this will be staking pool POS so any one with any amount of beans can join their amount and participate in staking SO Big +1

I don't know what is meant by " Addition of Transaction Based Staking " but as far as I understand it could be like a pool in POW only this will be staking pool POS so any one with any amount of beans can join their amount and participate in staking SO Big +1I have to clarify this one, since that's not how it will work. Pool staking does nothing to help the network. What we want is to encourage more active and new wallets on the network, an incentive for this is right in line with Bitbean's transaction-centric philosophy. We want to encourage not only active wallets, but wallets that are engaged in commerce with one another. So Transaction Based Staking will provide higher chances for active wallets to stake, that are transacting with other wallets (that are not in the same proximity). When you spend your beans, you increase your chance to stake and sprout more beans! The amount of increase will start with 1,000 minimum Bitbean and decrease with the size of the wallet. So maximum increase will be with small wallets and decrease with larger wallets. All wallets will be able to participate in TBS (Transaction Based Staking). Network difficulty will also be a factor.

Hi girls and guys,
Staking these wonderful coins and would like to pick your brains, I'm using automatic coin control with a great deal of success. What I would like to know is most efficient block size for staking as I see a few wallets way down the rich list getting better staking.
If there is an optimal size, how do I get my blocks in order, send them to the same wallet address?

Just curious but what effect does a high staking percentage on a coin have on the price of the coin?

The obvious answer would be that is 80% of coins are staking that means under 20% are still available on exchanges for purchase... It shows good faith from the community... I don't think there is a coin that is even close on the level of staking we are at! When people start staking with the rewards it is pretty hard to take them off! I sell off my interest from staking nothing more Like most POS coins it comes down too the fact that if you believe in the coin there is no reason selling when you can stake it wait a year and double up
