As usual since divs dropped from the 0.02ish, and the future is very blur since friedcat is keeping quiet on anything that he probably considers strategic.

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's.
This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

30 of the shares sold on BTCT were mine.

I dumped a good chunk, to diversify.... was holding out to see if divs were going to turn around this week.  Since they have not, I am moving stuff elsewhere.  I may buy back in some that I sold if people dump it too low after Burnside pays divs.

95% of my BTC are in AM, I need to change this.

AM gets another kick in the teeth from a low div.  I was surprised to see that many share sell, actually.

If we get an update from FC, we may see a bump, but until we see something significant in the form of new hardware development or revenue, the slump will continue (unfortunately).

On the plus side, AM shares are cheap right now!

oh, I'm sure he does, but I think even he would agree that the share price typically jumps when FC posts news.

There has been nothing for me to contribute so I haven't said anything. Yes, we are below 2. Yes, the poor dividend is why. Yes, positive news from FC will probably help.

As for what will happen in the next couple of hours, your guess is as good as mine.

Ugh. Low dividends and a share price gliding down for weeks. A sharp drop in today's dividends. A corresponding sharp drop in share price. A promise to communicate two days ago. A complete lack of such.

First BFL, then Avalon...

Et tu, Friedcat?

If I've said anything amusing and/or informative and you're feeling generous:

I hope not because then it will seem that you can't trust anyone in Bitcoin. And if that feeling prevails it will tank the price of Bitcoin as well.

why do people put "begging bowl" links in signatures. You've got a much higher chance of winning a lottery than anyone ever giving you something. If you turned up at my door saying "donate cash to me" what response do you think you'd get?  Huh

This is off topic, but I'll address it.

In the early days of Bitcoin, it was common for people with multiple thousands of BTC to flip through forum threads and give 100BTC each to random people thanks to their addresses in their signatures.

Yes, things have changed a lot since then.
