1001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance after Coinmarketcap on: March 31, 2020, 02:46:08 PM
Are they planning to acquire CMC. I have not really heard anything about that. However, I think it will be a good one. We may all expect a perfect and more precise volume and probably some shitcoin that always getting listed on CMC can find other places to get listed, but I also think there are other sites like coingecko that are also trying but they are less recognized probably because the CMC is the first.

1003  Economy / Economics / Re: CoronaVirus USA - Open by easter? on: March 30, 2020, 10:44:50 AM
I do not think it is a good plan to open the country by Easter especially in some large cities like New York that are still recording massive cases. By the way, if there has been a drastic reduction in the case of the virus before Easter, maybe they can partly reopen for easter but it is not save especially in some densely populated area. We have heard cases of re-contraction of the virus due to carelessness.
1004  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic crisis is Hoax? COVID19 Not Deadliest one! on: March 30, 2020, 10:34:06 AM

SARS, coronavirus and influenza are the same virus.

I think so but my question onvthatvis why has it taken a long time before a total cure comes. The treatment should have been faster than the pace it is going. So many thousands have died yet, we are still where we are.
The reason why the cure might take a long time before being released is partly due to processes involved and also due to political reasons. During the Ebola pandemic in Africa, there were groups of people and individuals that affirm to have the cure but countries like the United States will condemn the cure and also call for their own clinical trial on such vaccines. The same thing is currently happening with this Covid-19. China might probably ahead in finding the cure but the USA will always counter anything vaccines that are not from their domain
1005  Economy / Economics / Re: India - Complete Country Lockdown - Is it on the Verge of Economic Crisis ? on: March 30, 2020, 10:25:29 AM
It is not only them but the world at large. Throughout the world, individual countries are taking the necessary precaution to contain the spread of this virus and locking down the country is not something bad especially for India with such a large population. Either the country is temporarily locked down or not, there will still be an economic crisis because of india also involve in trading internationally
1006  Economy / Economics / Re: a disease or a virus or is there business in it? on: March 30, 2020, 10:20:05 AM
With the various fundings and grant especially that are presently being offered by WHO and other health organization, I do not think anybody will have the cure and still hide it for a business reason because there are no lucrative business such cure can offer above the one on the ground. Aside this, I really think anybody with the cure will automatically become noble and I have no doubt that there will be unlimited recognition including being awarded nobel laurel.
1007  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: March 29, 2020, 07:55:13 PM
But according to what I read on BBC, the virus was first discovered by the doctor who is an ophthalmologist when a patient was brought from seafood markets. Probably due to the large population of China and professionals that cut across every field. They could have achieved all that but to me the whole thing is just a hoax just they way there are allegations that Russian assist Trump in winning the election
1008  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S. Recession short term on: March 29, 2020, 07:48:04 PM
China appears to actually be ahead in the stock market for the month of March compared to all the other nations.
I just imagine how China keeps doing this. Despite the fact that the virus started from them, they are still ahead in stock market which I believe will continue to top because a lot of businesses are already starting to operate back. even wuhan in which the virus pandemic first started is no more locked down. All these are really unbelievable.
1009  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the government understand? on: March 29, 2020, 04:28:16 PM
How to get respond from government if bitcoin price always down and make many people panic for selling, just one way how to make government understood with bitcoin as best digital currency payment by seeing bitcoin on the top price and not give bad result for many investor with bitcoin always dump.
I do not think this is possible or achievable. It is always about given and takes. Even the traditional stock exchange asset get dump and also pumps. Nobody wants to see crypto being regulated yet we all want to see crypto being recognized well by the government. Most government won't wanna accept something that they cant control. For them, it is like seating on gun powder.
1010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A question about AML KYC on: March 29, 2020, 03:56:47 PM
it is not the problem of the exchangers but the government that requires it as part of the condition for having a business in the countries where the exchange platform is based. Also, issue relating to money laundering is a serious offense and it could be perpetuated through the use of crypto too so I think it is part of the reason why AML/KYC compliance is needed
1011  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why I sold my 0.67 BTC!! on: March 29, 2020, 03:48:25 PM
Be safe bro. It is sad to see people getting sick day by day from this outbreak and with the current cases being recorded in United State, there is no way someone will not be fearful of what the future holds for him. I am very sure you find it difficult to sell all your coin but I think you make the brave decision. It is when you are alive that you will be thinking of having money somewhere. I pray this virus to go soon
1012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending crypto to a non-crypto person through Facebook? on: March 28, 2020, 02:16:14 PM
I am not sure if you have heard of a project called Airwire. It was launched a long time ago. The project allows someone to send crypto to the individual via email, SMS, Facebook, etc. maybe you can try them out
1013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: March 28, 2020, 01:58:15 PM
This is true but many of them always look for the best and affordable way to promote their projects and that is exactly the reason why they always go for bounty hunters. In some cases, the hunters are parts of investors too and I have discovered that bounty hunters disseminate information through the internet very fast and abundantly that the information are crawl by search engines which bring more investors
1014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for Crypto Affliate Program on: March 28, 2020, 01:52:54 PM
If you have a website with a lot of daily traffic, you can try to sign up for coinbase impact. It is a special affiliate program that offers different ads size and orientation to be display of blogs and websites in order to earn a commission. Bitdegree is another blockchain platform that has affiliate marketing program. Their paying rate is cool and fast.
1015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are comfortable investing in government controlled investments on: March 28, 2020, 01:40:52 PM
There has been a continuous prediction of economic met down next year by many financial experts due to current pandemic disease ravaging the whole world and if this would happen, I am only concern about the impact of the economic meltdown on the price cryptocurrency and other e-currencies. If it might bring about more acceptance of crypto and continuous development of the blockchain technology
1016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sign of improvement to the market price of the Bitcoin. on: March 28, 2020, 01:34:27 PM
With yesterday correction, I would advice people not raise their hope of that this short time recovery would be sustainable, $6200 level is an area of interest for me, those that are still on the sideline should still wait because the money that need to come to the space are not going to come anytime soon, over $3 million people filed for unemployment in America and just look at the ripple effect of this in coming weeks
Cointelegraph predicted the fall on their twitter page even before the price drop to 6.1k and currently, the coin is trying to recover but the chart is giving an indication of further falling probably in the next few days. Amid all what is currently happening someone would have to think crypto might fall deeply but seen the coin trying to recover might a sign that the pandemic has little effect on the price.
1017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona is spreading in many countries!! Bitcoin is a solution for transactions on: March 27, 2020, 07:43:31 PM
What of online banking, Alot of people started making use of their cards to purchase some goods and services. Take for instance, in United State of America, alot of people prefer using credit cards rather than fiat. Crypto too can be used but not as flexible as credit cards because you can actually purchase anything with card but there are limitation to the services you can access using crypto
1018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I realise Coronavirus is not a reason why on: March 27, 2020, 07:38:38 PM
There are many reasons people have identified as the major reason for the crash. While many of these reasons such as crypto scam, whales, etc. are general reasons which are known before. The COVID-19 pandemic is also part of the reason behind the fall. A lot of people panicked and sell off their crypto for foods and sanitary materials which also add to the reasons.
1019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and illegal activities on: March 27, 2020, 07:09:00 PM
People take advantage of the anonymity of the crypto to perpetuate evil and that is exactly why I somehow support KYC verification. A week cannot past without a crypto scam being announced. This shows that people are rapidly using crypto negatively. Just a few weeks ago, Some criminal requested for bitcoin to be paid as ransom for kidnapping a boy.
1020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: March 27, 2020, 03:55:17 PM
In my case, as a freelance graphic designer that accepts crypto. I do save the every 5% of my salary or every project in my bitcoin paper wallet. This is for my family and for my kid's educational fund in the next decade. I believe this is far better than investing in banks.
This is a wise decision and a wise way of preparing for the future and hopefully, you won't be forced to making a u-turn one day and withdraw some of it in case of an emergency since you are in total control of it and have access to it at any time which invariably it is otherwise in a bank. such investment will always come with a time constraint that gives accessibility
