Well im no expert in this but have you tried using the incognito mode on chrome? (Control + alt + n) Try to access the forum using it, im not saying it will work but sometimes when i try to open a youtube video for example and it doesn't work i open the incognito mode and works, im not sure why, maybe it works for you too.
1022  Other / Meta / Re: The Definition of a Low Quality Post on: November 04, 2015, 10:54:50 AM
I think the definition of the low quality post is that they are posting but not related to the topic. That's why their posts are being deleted.

The definition of low quality posts is in your profile, 520 posts with 28 activity? Jesus Christ, you made 520 posts in 20 days, thats insane and you are not even wearing a signature, i cant believe it.
1023  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How about this trading strategy? on: November 04, 2015, 10:50:34 AM
better to not sell in a pump like this, or you will be left behind, now it's only time to buy, and reduce your buy order after a certain % of increase, maybe after the rounded big number like 300, 400, 500 etc...

True, a month ago this strategy would have been pretty good actually considering the price was always swinging between 200-220 each day. Im not doing anything right now, im waiting for some stability which probably will happen in a week or so.
1024  Economy / Services / Re: Any signatur campaign for wrong negative trust user? on: November 03, 2015, 09:04:58 AM
i dont even know why people seem so eager to escrow other than to pull off a scam, escrowing deals seems more of a hassle; if something goes wrong with the deal its your responsibility to resolve the issues, and if you mess up somewhere its up to you to reimburse the parties affected.

Imagine someone doing escrow 10 times successfully.
People on 11th time will go to him
escrow is the fastest way to earn trust imo than just trading and posting around board
escrowing shouldnt be seen as a way to earn trust. anyone who goes in with that mindset, imo, is sketchy at best. escrow  is something offered as a protective service for other forum members because you are deemed trustworthy by the majority to be trusted with a sum of money. in short, its the other way around; you escrow because you are trusted (and willing to offer your time), not escrow to gain trust.

Do you really think people see escrowing as a way of gaining trust? They just say that to hide their real intentions, anyone who knows how an escrow works will understand that you need to be trusted in order to be one. Do they really think anyone would use their ''escrowing service'' to scam them? You have to be pretty naive to think so.
1025  Other / Meta / Re: Insane sig spam in gambling section? on: November 03, 2015, 08:59:51 AM
Hmm.. watching a cycle in which the shame posts are quoted and replied and quoted and replied is really annoying . I do very less quote replies. I think if you think that so @xinxan why dont you report to moderator then ?

Because i tried that already and they don't get deleted 99% of the times because they are not considered off-topic. Of course they are not off-topic but they are just repetitive and useless so i dont bother anymore to report them because the only thing i get in return is bad accuracy on my reports
1026  Economy / Services / Re: Any signatur campaign for wrong negative trust user? on: November 03, 2015, 08:04:51 AM
It is not illegal to buy or sell accounts but it does not matter, the point is that he was scamming on his alt account and now he is complaining that he got negative trust on this other account which now makes no sense.

isn't it always against rules to buy/sell/trade forum accounts?

It isn't on this forum, though I find it extremely sketchy.

that's odd.
people will only have to invest some time and they are good to go.
they can even become hero, get positive trust and scam escrow

You need more than a year for a hero account and you wont be able to escrow even if you have one, people buy accounts mostly for signature campaigns or because they got negative trust on their other accounts like OP did.
1027  Other / Meta / Re: Insane sig spam in gambling section? on: November 03, 2015, 07:43:19 AM
We can argue all we want but at the end of the day the mods will take no action, i think we need some new rules around here
You have to convince them that a specific post deserve to be deleted. (report it and give a clear description)

I can open a post in the off topic section for example: how many hair do you have in your head/body? Then you will find hundred posts with random numbers or people saying impossible to count which is repeated many times. So basically, i don't see why mods should delete this ''stupid'' topic nor its silly responses which remains on topic...

Making new rules? For example: do not open an off topic topic in the off topic section? Or do not reply to an answered topic?
Well, when someone opened a topic and asked a specific question, he will get a first reply, a second guy will come and he thinks that the answer isn't complete so he will add another thing, the 3rd one will correct an already posted answer, the OP still didn't say anything so people will continue posting... He just need to lock the topic when he get the helpful answer...

Do Not understood me wrong, i am pissed off of many topics, replies... but asking mods to delete thousands of posts isn't a solution.

Spammers will continue spamming even if they are not enrolled in signature compaign.
Limiting posts on specific section(s) for signature compaign will lead to an intelligent way of spam on this section(s) . For example in the gambling section, i found many times a ~whole page in which the replies come from boys in the same sign comp..

@OP, if you think that your message is transmitted please lock this topic.

As i said the solution it's pretty easy, get mods to lock the thread. Im pretty sure people wouldn't spam if they weren't participating in a sig campaign because what would be the point? The only people that spammed were the ones who were trying to ''level up'' their accounts but it's nothing compared to sig spammers.
1028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: btc-e price lagging lately? on: November 02, 2015, 09:54:16 PM
Differences in price happen in all the exchanges although people throw a lot of shit at btc-e, im not really sure why. Personally i have never had any problems with them and the price being lower is not a problem if you are only trading in btc-e.
1029  Economy / Services / Re: Any signatur campaign for wrong negative trust user? on: November 02, 2015, 08:25:06 PM
Hello!

I had been given wrong trust and i am actually not able to earn anything due to it Sad

Wrong trust? Trust was perfectly valid. And surprise suprise I just found out you are an alt of the serial scammer SpreadBit (same whatsapp):

Hello,

I am Buying, Selling Bitcoins.
Rates mentioned below:
Buying Bitcoins: I am buying bitcoins for $250/Per BTC which means $25 for 0.1BTC
Selling Bitcoins: PM Me for price.

Add me on Whatsapp:
+91 8699789940 - Mention from Bitcointalk.org and also wants to buy or sell.

No PayPal - Escrow Accepted.

Hello,

I am providing free Trading help. My Trading Statistics:
(Last 8 Bets)
Total Traded: 8 Times
Total Times Won: 7 Times
Total Times Lost: 1 Time

I will be providing free trading help, directly message me on Whatsapp No. : +91 8699789940 and i will reply you as soon as possible and if i am online, you will get your reply in less than 5 minutes.

You don't have to send me any coin, I will just tell you if you should bet on High or LOW.

Tips will be Appreciated, Message me if you wanna tip.
Whatsapp No. : +91 8699789940

And that's why idiots like you should always recieve negative feedback for offering escrow services because you only had one intention and that was to scam.

I just learn about this thread and so i registered to yobit. I was given red due to misunderstanding.  Hope to earn from yobit. I'd probably post more now that I get to join a signature campaign.

A misunderstanding? You were trying to sell access to creditcard details you stole (see ref link on your feedback). The fact that yobit accepts and pays for scammers as well as spammers is just another reason why it's a joke of a campaign and needs forecably removing.

i confirm that SpreadBit is my alt-account but i never scammed anyone. I sold that account earlier and created this account.

let me quote it so you cannot deny it later.
Anyways, I believe buying and selling of accounts is illegal

And Indians like you who are dumb enough to give their cell numbers publicly
are reason that they are considered cheap

It is not illegal to buy or sell accounts but it does not matter, the point is that he was scamming on his alt account and now he is complaining that he got negative trust on this other account which now makes no sense.
1030  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Would anyone be interested in this reddit ? on: November 02, 2015, 07:45:24 PM
I have some aged unused accounts and thinking about boosting karma on those.
I'm pretty good with it and thinking about boosting one account to 100k link karma, so I'm curious if anyone will be interested in 9 years old account with 100k karma and how much it will be worth ?

you should post it on digital goods section, isn't?
well boosting a karma is same as boost a rep, it's will be a worse if people use it for a crime/scam. and i'm sure this is against the terms.

I don't really see how someone is going to use a reddit account for scamming purposes and how the age of the account or karma would affect it. I know some people would buy those accounts but not for scamming.
1031  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is there company offering free/or not free virtual bank account on: November 02, 2015, 07:20:17 PM
What are you searching for exactly? A virtual bank for USD? Im not sure i understand what are you trying to find, there are plenty of virtual banks out there, a simple google search will be enough to find them.
1032  Economy / Services / Re: Any signatur campaign for wrong negative trust user? on: November 02, 2015, 07:14:54 PM
Bullshit. Looking at all the trashed threads you started under the Spreadbit account you are obviously a dodgy character (Amazon refunds etc). You also left fake positive trust for your alt.

Seems like he always has an excuse for everything, i wouldn't have been surprised if he said his phone number matched the scammer because of a coincidence. Once again this proves that leaving neg trust for people like him it's actually not only a good idea but helpful for people to not deal with him.
1033  Other / Meta / Re: Insane sig spam in gambling section? on: November 02, 2015, 06:57:47 PM
The current state of the Gambling forum is absolutely pathetic. I could give literally thousands of examples but a clear one is the topic "Can gambling be profitable in long term?". It has 31 pages of replies - currently 614 (!!) replies. There should be literally 1 reply:

Quote
No, gambling is generally not profitable in the long term. There are a few exemptions:
1) The casino gives you a positive edge (very unlikely since casino gives away free money this way - so only possible with short term bonus/promo.)
2) You cheat, like counting cards at blackjack.
3) It is a game where actual skill is involved (generally a game against other players), for example poker. Since there is still luck involved you need proper bankroll management to be still profitable against any variance in the long term.

I don't see how there can be any need of any other reply after an answer like that. There are simply no more answers, that is THE answer. The answer is not an opinion, it is a fact. Still the signature campaign spammers manage to make 614 replies (and counting.) That is just really, really insane. Basically all replies in there are the same, formulated in a slightly different way. That is 100% spam. But yeh... I wouldn't even know how to start reporting those? Would I need to report all ~600 "duplicate" replies? Equally I think it would be very difficult for moderators to start removing those replies without some clear rules about it.

I do not know what the best solution is. Banning everyone who makes a "repeating reply"? Well it can happen by mistake sometimes. Banning all signature campaigns? I don't know, in theory I like the way of earning some bits while posting. But it is really a problem that seems to be getting worse and worse.

PS, to at least get a high quality overview of topics again, I like to link to "Is it possible to separate businesses and gambling discussion". That is slightly related, although it would not solve this problem (would "solve" the topics, not the replies.)

PS2, the fact that other forums are "worse" does not mean that this isn't a problem in "Gambling" too. The difference would actually be that "Gambling" used to be fairly high quality posts and "Games and Rounds" replies were always shit. Also people don't really look at the replies in "Games and Rounds" forum so I personally don't mind the spam there that much compared to "Gambling" forum.

Yes exactly and there are way too many posts with basically the same topic like the one you linked.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1232896.0

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1193738.0

Those two are basically the same and they both have a lot of posts it's ridiculous.

The only solution i can think of is to lock the threads instead of banning everyone and lock any other duplicate thread.
1034  Other / Meta / Re: Insane sig spam in gambling section? on: November 02, 2015, 09:07:45 AM
What you guys are failing to see here is most users whom create theose threads are in sig campaigns and theyll make a thread like that to reply over n over again to get their posts counts. Also they use their alt accounts to answer the same questions as well

Yes i know and thats why they wont bother locking the thread but some posts are really just copies of others. Like dice game strategies, there are like 3 of those with 20+ pages of posts in each. That shouldn't be allowed.
1035  Other / Meta / Re: Insane sig spam in gambling section? on: November 01, 2015, 10:39:41 PM
Well this isn't really considered as spam.
Take a look at the yobit signature compaign topic and start counting the number of posts saying that the button isn't working...

Well i don't see why this wont be considered spam because it is. Repeating the same answer over and over should be spam and even if it's not it should be baneable or reportable. I know if i report them they will probably not get deleted hence this post.

And Yerm, yes i know why the spam is coming i just want it to stop.
1036  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How about this trading strategy? on: November 01, 2015, 10:06:54 PM
Tried it yesterday using 0.02 and 0.01 amounts to buy/sell and more than 2$ jumps (sometimes 4 or more dollars jumps). It worked well, but did not earned that much (about 50-60 cents in Bitcoin I guess  Tongue).

Considering I only had about 0.05 BTC invested at the same time, does not seem to bad, but neither too good.

Because you are using 0.02 btc which is not feasible for this strategy, he said  you needed at least 0.5 but the more money you use the better and although you won some money you can lose it extremely easy with one of bitcoin price swings that happens really at least once a month
1037  Other / Meta / Re: should we restrict gambling from major advertisement? on: November 01, 2015, 09:07:46 PM
clarify that...
not restricting gambling completely.
at least we need to add some of the words like "play responsibly" which is explicit in the advertisement banner.

Do you really think that will do anything? Everyone knows smoking is bad yet they still smoke, the same happens with gambling, people knows they can lose although there is people who are delluded and may think they have a safe strategy. I guess in any case there should be something like ''You will end up loosing in gambling'' or  ''There is no strategy for pure luck based games''
1038  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Texasholdemallin.com] ★ Texas Hold'em for the lucky ones ★ always All-In ★ on: November 01, 2015, 09:00:55 PM
A novel way of playing Texas Hold Em but i am interested to know that hitting the Royal Flush will give you 32486 x your bet ?

hello

sorry for late reply but I thought XinXan will answer my question Sad

yes the Royal Flush Jackpot payout is wager x 32486 but for the moment it is capped at a max bet of 8000 bits and Royal Flush Jackpot payout of 2.59888 BTC and could be changed at any time later to much more but not more than 1 kelly of MP bank roll.

So there is a max payout, which is 2.59 bitcoins. Thats what i was basically saying, that you wouldn't pay someone x32k if he was betting 1 bitcoin.
1039  Other / Meta / Insane sig spam in gambling section? on: November 01, 2015, 08:58:24 PM
Posts like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1232896.40 are proof of what im talking about.  He asked a simple question and many people in page 1 answered, now there are 3 pages of posts saying absolutly the same thing over and over again. Im not even mentioning the other posts like the dice strategy one which is full with the same spam, people knows there is no strategy on dice, what is the point of that post then?

I would personally lock the threads but i'm not entirely sure how to report them or if i should report each person so im posting it here for some feedback.
1040  Economy / Gambling / Re: After losing all your Bitcoin on: November 01, 2015, 08:54:40 PM
Am I the only person here that feels relieved when they lose all their Bitcoins due to gambling ? I don't have to deal with the constant planning and dreaming in my head that maybe this time I will recoup my losses. I find that I also sleep like a baby afterwards.

Once I can't sleep after I loss all my bits. I thought that I can make massive profit with it and the fact it busted me out. So I'm stop gamble for a while.
As we know sometimes our greed recall us again to make a bet and for now I'm bet with relax and afford to lose

How many did you lose that you can't even sleep? I guess many people said dont bet all of your money at least you can save it for your financial problem. Greed sometimes with a luck you can earn profit but always get your greedines overtake you is a bad thing

You think people don't know that? Do you think they bet all their money without knowing the odds? It's called addiction for a reason, if they were reasonable enough they woulnd't be even gambling in the first place.
