1101  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin and get rich quick syndrome on: September 05, 2023, 11:52:41 PM
Theres a possibility but think about it the price of bitcoin before is like what less than $1, 20, 30 or 56 figure to $1k but its tremendously priced now at more than $25k so see the difference? The belief of others that it could be worth 100x from now? Im not sure if its possible. Only early hodlers are lucky for this, but its not a get away scheme since those people didnt expect this as well. Maybe find a new one that could be like that too.
1102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin Dumps $578K in MakerDAO Tokens on: September 05, 2023, 10:08:12 PM
Thats gonna be conflict on interest for him in my opinion. He is the founder of ethereum and the project under his umbrella will leave now the platform so I think he is only investing on tokens or project that are somehow related to his project. Its not like he hates Solana probably but he trust his own more than a nrw player in town.

On technical side probably he isnt so bullish by the makerdao's decision. But who knows, what will happened.
1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance removing support for BUSD on: September 05, 2023, 09:15:55 PM
The new stablecoin, which has become a replacement for BUSD, is the new stablecoin 111, the issuer of which is a trust company from Hong Kong First Digital Group. Accordingly, Binance has become a little further away from the SEC, but closer to the Asian regulatory authorities.
Maybe it is a good move so SEC would stop some allegations more on Binance but sincr I dont have much info on this new one thanks for the heads up. So Asian move now. I think thats good isnt it? Hongkong is a pro crypto so they would definitely connect to larger platform like Binance. It just unfrotunate that we need to let go of that BUSD cause its already marked in every trader out there. Is it possible to retain the name of BUSD but just change the issuer? So it would still fit for used on Binance exchange or this is possible only once the old busd taken down by Paxos.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why should I invest in Qizon Coin? on: September 05, 2023, 08:46:51 PM
To me, any token that sells its tokens on a website, rather than on a dedicated token sales platform, is a potential scam. Another concern here is that the listing date on exchanges may be further away than the expiration date of the site registration. A banal exit scam may occur. All sorts of digital garbage constantly appears on BSC, which is not worth any attention.
Agreed on that but not all before there were some ICOs that usually selling their tokens on their own platform and it still clicks and got some legit process or result. But the era wherein the release of exchange listing platform like IEO marks the end of this and only few lile 0.001% of those who do that now are mostly scams.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token Promotion on: September 05, 2023, 08:08:38 PM
Promoting a project is very important but if the developer focuses more on its fundamental and for being a good project, then for sure promotions will come on its own and the investors will make voice to promote such project. This is why the project developer should not only focus on the hype but instead focus more on their progress and their roadmap.
Thats true. What more for projects with greatest achievement on both right? Strong on fundamentals and technical but also active on social marketing. Ive known a lot of these projects and its hard to get free tokens on them since they are gonna be swarmed by people and community. Example of these are layerzero, starknet and zksyncs. They got a lot of support due to potential airdrop and also the platform being built is awesome.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance removing support for BUSD on: September 04, 2023, 09:11:09 PM
but everyone always think BUSD is owned by Binance. If the name of this stable coin isn't BUSD, there must be a sudden dump because many people will panic.

I think everyone should convert all of their BUSD into other popular stable coin right now.
This is quite confusing actually. Before I really thought that BUSD is owned by binance since its name after their exchange though the fact that it is owned by Paxos then its a different story. Personally I think CZ should did a deal with them about this beforehand since the community might think of this as well and they wouldny trust the new stablecoin they are introducing.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cheapest way to transfer funds to Linea/zkSync on: September 04, 2023, 08:25:01 PM
I would imagine that the cheapest way would be to use a CEX. Could you recommend one to me? I know that OKX supports Linea but I have stopped using them since they implemented KYC. I need to transfer the funds from Polygon zkEVM but I'm flexible. I don't mind going through Bitcoin, or some other coin if needed as long as the process is as cheap as possible. I'm aware of bridges like Orbiter Finance, but that's a bit too expensive (for the small amount I'm trying to move).
Have you tried out other platform and bridges like
- stargate finance
-Bungee
-Layer3 (new bridge)
-Izumi Finance
-Symbiosis

Ive more often used orbiter as it really convenient on a lot of L1 and L2 transfers but those I mentioned above might help you though but regarding fees Im not sure which one is the lowest.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why should I invest in Qizon Coin? on: September 04, 2023, 07:59:46 PM
On the site are drawn experts without real names, announcements of listings on not the best exchanges.
Well thats pretty red flag for a new project. I understand if the founder were more of an anon who has reputation but this one isnt like that. Also announcing an exchange prior to listing is also another red flag cause big exchange dont allowed that and ending up not listing there usually. So for a project with such a noise like this will ptobably only consist of promises.
1109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Colorado residents can pay in cryptocurrency for driver's license renewal on: September 03, 2023, 08:35:14 PM
Then they arent using crypto but Paypal instead. Why would you pay crypto if you could spend $ using it right? Bettet hold that crypto and check its price double instead. This is good news for adoption but not for the benefit of decentralization cause you still use third party. Anyway thats an improvement though.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token Promotion on: September 03, 2023, 06:35:51 PM
Some exchanges including binance list coins or tokens for free if the project is so good and is not scam after being subjected to their eligibility criteria. The question is what is the internet of your project? Or is it one of those which is created to make money off other users?
Yes thats how a project can get a maximum promotion by being list on top notch exchange and thats a hell of a marketing already. No need to boost it on social media cause followers or users will probably check on you. But only handful of these projects can get that kind of promotions.
1111  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to join best bounty and earn money? on: September 03, 2023, 01:42:12 AM
I know that some will say that there are bounty campaigns where you can make some money, but that's like looking for a needle in a haystack - not to mention the moral side of promoting such projects that mostly fail or turn out to be scams.
Apparently this is applicable before maybe around 2017 to 2018 something like that since many ICOs have a lot of bounties and literally can earn pretty good money with that but however thats not the case now cause compared to before the activity now or campaign sounds scammish and very suspicious. Maybe there are some but that would be so minor to find.
1112  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beginners must be needed Local /language sector. on: September 03, 2023, 12:37:46 AM
Analyzing crypto in your own language will be very easy so if you are new to crypto or coming from this forum be sure to be more active on discussion boards in your own language.

There are many high level members who discuss crypto in their own language or this forum. If you follow their discussion carefully you will progress very quickly.
Yes thats right. I think newbies or new here should be finding help in gaining knowledge on local board first to make it more easier to them. Also they wont be intimidated by engaging on some topics they ought to know or shy to ask question with. Sometimes newbies are afraid of high rank due to criticism  but thats normal so linger on local board to be more confident and gain extra knowledge from your country men.
1113  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are some cryptos decentralized while some are not? on: September 02, 2023, 04:44:20 PM
But again, I've heard about investors losing their money in crypto due to irregularities from the project owners. And this brings me to wonder if these teams still have control over the crypto that is supposed to be decentralized? Or is it that some cryptocurrencies are decentralized while some are not?
The reason for this is probably due to the lack of security of some defi altcoins. However these projects have premine tokens and likely due to investors money.   Depends on the tokenomics of the project, can say decentralized if the tokens alloted for the team is really low and mostly for the community like bitcoin have.
1114  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is DeFi an aging, over-hyped mess or a great thing? on: September 02, 2023, 01:33:08 PM
A lot of the DeFi concepts available today are all experimental and will take time to mature. These projects are building financial products in a decentralized context so a lot of things have gone wrong and could still go wrong.
Yes experimental and very risky. I just hope they could improve the security and priority it first prior to launching cause the actual hacks happened on the codes and some smart ass are able to counter it due to the flaws their able to see and taken advantage off.

Most big defi are being monitored and waiting to be exploit by these guys. So for new projects, I think they should compromise first with the security before doing the liquidity approach and some new ideas they could impart to defi users.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is more profitable? on: September 02, 2023, 10:51:31 AM
Just one bitcoin
Bitcoin is the most profitable crypto to all investors. Bitcoin is the first digital asset to hit the crypto market. In fact it was more profitable for its early investors.
Mayne for investors and early investors. But if you are talking about with the current market stance, I believe altcoins are more efficient on taking profits like can attain a 3x minimum for certain time even without a bullmarket season. If for safe and assuring investment bitcoin is the top that we wont be so nervous even when we dont check.
1116  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BUSD users will be able to convert Busd to other stablecoins until February 2024 on: September 02, 2023, 04:59:21 AM
If thats the case then the only stable reliable for now are usdt, usdc and dai. Im not fan of others whom just shown up like the tusd of Justin Sun and Fdusd. The support for other stablecoins is much good in my opinion. Well we cant do about the busd case probably due to regulations issue. Its just unfortunate cause busd is good to use ad pairing since Binance has no fees for that. But since theyll be taking it out, I wonder if they will have the same privilege using other stables like tusd or fdusd.
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is It Finally Time For AI Coins? on: September 02, 2023, 02:58:36 AM
Are there Other AI coins that intrigue you? How well do you think aitech would perform in the next bull mrkt?
So far there are no new prospect in the AI related projects. Mostly are just made up for AI hype and not really into that. I had invested on some AI related and got some minor profits but to find a solid one, I think those that are already been listed on binance but they have been pumped out since then. But if you really believe in their purpose and use case then its a good coin for bull run as well provided that its still hype.
1118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Unlocks One Billion XRP, What will impact on it’s Price? on: September 02, 2023, 01:58:04 AM
Lol this is what completely should turn people off from xrp it's a centralized crypto which is pointless.  Seriously it goes against the very reason crypto was even created.  What is the allure in what attracts people to xrp anyway?
Ripple is famous but this 1billion xrp is too much. I think people are just beign swayed by the fact that xrp is a top coin with endless application, maybe it is but the founder should be lenient about their purposes. Some anon might think this as free money being unlock and using the word strategy for doing some kick back.
1119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you expect better, but then impulsively jump into things due to FOMO? on: September 02, 2023, 01:06:39 AM
Hey all, I am new here: I've been reading a lot, and not posting much at first. You have a great place to learn at BCT. When trading crypto do you expect better, from yourself, but then impulsively jump into things due to FOMO? Has anyone reading this ever found a cure? How do you permanently change and naturally be patient? Thanks all.
There is no perfect trader, some might actually done the fomo act, even me when I am too excited about something I tend to fomo a lot and resulting to burn up instead. Thats how the market usually it pointed out on the opposite direction you expect and if you dont got patient youll definitely burn out and lose your position and sell into loss instead.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Unable to restore all the ETH addresses in my Meta Mask on: September 01, 2023, 11:19:11 PM
OP since you are using a new computer its normal that what you imported on your new device would be the first address or main wallet under that seed phrase so when you want to see other addresses belong to that seed or private key, you need to follow this particular step saif by John.

You need to just add the accounts by clicking on "Add account" in the meta mask wallet.  Meta Mask wallet will by default add all your addresses in the same sequence as they were present in your old computer.
