45 sats...
I think it will go under 40 sats.

Week hands will regret later. I personally like it. For example the drop of bitcoin offered me a chance to buy a higher amount...
Maybe I can get also get a little deeper in nem.

Do you think it would work, if you put gold into your closet and tomorow it'll be there 10% more? do you think gold could keep its price then`?

There is no comparison. Gold is physical good that people have used for centuries. Crypto is nothing but imaginary digital  currency worth less than shit if people have no interest in it and aren't using it.

There is absolutely no reason to believe in "long term future" arguments as there is no proof there is even future.

there is no proof. what an argument...
Who tells you, that we can't transform anything to gold in 10 years? Its possible now already just still too expensive...
1123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread -100% Original Codebase - Over 70 Active Team Members on: July 02, 2015, 12:39:40 PM
it seems people are only wanting to invest in this short term to make a quick buck, if thats all people are interested in doing, they are playing the wrong game...

There is no reason to believe that any crypto, not even bitcoin, has long term future, and especially if something is doing bad right now with low interest, low volume, like nem, it probably has even lower long term future.

Interest is shit. We have all this euro/dollar dilemma only because of interest. You generate money you don't have. But someone has to pay it...
And for the price of the single coin it only means down pressure. the market is not supposed to grow because of interest. its thin air!

Do you think it would work, if you put gold into your closet and tomorow it'll be there 10% more? do you think gold could keep its price then`?
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in deep trouble. Litecoin to take its place soon. on: July 02, 2015, 09:39:07 AM
If bitcoin dies, every single cryptocoin will drop at least 99% because everyone will doubt the technology.
I believe a lot, but the last thing I believe is that ltc will just take btc's place. Its not gonna happen...
It may raise a lot but never surpass BTC... maybe another coin but not LTC.
1125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread -100% Original Codebase - Over 70 Active Team Members on: July 02, 2015, 09:30:56 AM
I am not trying to troll or anything, but we must agree that we expected more from NEM since the launch and until now.

Easy said. Programming takes time.
Its better to take longer and ensure bugfree updates instead of coming out fast and scare everyone away.
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread -100% Original Codebase - Over 70 Active Team Members on: July 01, 2015, 11:24:07 PM
Mine are worth much less since There is not even enough buy orders to sell them all.

Thats the problem of the most, because they didn't understand. Why whould one want to sell gold ever? You have to hold until bad times. Then it will probably be worth more than everything else you can hold in hands...
We are talking about a long term investment, not a fast money making...

If you sell gold now, you get a shitty price as well. you have to sell it, if people need it...
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread -100% Original Codebase - Over 70 Active Team Members on: July 01, 2015, 11:09:18 PM

NEM (XEM) Official Thread -100% Original Codebase - Over 70 Active Team Members

the number is to high, today would be fitting better according to Coinmarketcap

NEM (XEM) Official Thread -12.15% Original Codebase - Over 70 Active Team Members

ok, for all shining mathematics like you:

1 Stake cost maximum 0.2 btc in february 2014, if you came in very late. The beginning was even free. But lets calculate with that.
0.2 BTC in February 2014 was about 160$.

1 Stake = 2250000 NEM
at the moment 1 NEM is about 0.00015$
so 1 Stake is about 2250000 * 0.00015 = 337.5$
That means your stake is worth more than double right now. What do you want? How much are your BTC from February 2014 now? a THIRD!
1128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Logarithmic (non-linear) regression - Bitcoin estimated value on: July 01, 2015, 11:58:02 AM
Hi, Lord Oliver

1.- The resulting parameters would be almost identical. Dollar and gold relationship is very stable compared to bitcoin...

2.- The logarithmic function is quite nice for a medium term horizon (1 or 2 years from now) and it's much better than the linear one.
But it's not as accurate in the long term. As I have stated in former posts, I would prefer an asymptotic function for the long term.

Regards.

Yes I know, that its kind of stable compared to bitcoin, but still it defuses a little the spike in 2011 for example. That may make your graphs of the early years a little less diverge.
The only problem with gold is, that its price is manipulated. It would normally (and does sometimes, if manipulation failes) follow the bitcoin spikes a little as the bitcoin price is also (of course minor but still) driven by bad economy.
1129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pool of Stake: Improved POS to Prevent Multiple Voting on: July 01, 2015, 08:33:54 AM
simple as always:
I just divide my coins into more accounts and stake each of them...
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in NEM? on: June 28, 2015, 09:50:36 PM
Do not invest the money that you cannot afford to loose.
This is valid for any investment.

Do not put your all money into a single basket!
Diversify!

True

and

True

but thats only the half truth.
Diversifying too much doesn't make sense if you don't have much money. Choose only a few coins you belive in and invest at least so much in them, that you maybe can appreciate the winnings.

For example if you invest into a coin, that has the market cap of  over 1 Million it will probably only grow a maximum of 10x in near future. So if you invest only 10 Bucks you can have 100 Bucks then. If you are really poor, this may make sense, but not if you are an average american. You have to invest at least 100 Bucks to be maybe glad with 1000 on a 10folding. Maybe you have to invest even more, depending on your bankroll.

On the other hand, if you invest into a coin, that has a market cap of 50k you may be glad with an investment of 10 or 20 Bucks already, because it can go way more than 10fold. It maybe can reach very fast a market cap of 5 million if its good (so 100x). Also you can loose less, if you don't go to much. Those coins in the lower positions can easily vanish completely and the money is gone...
1131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: intrinsic Problem of Altcoins on: June 28, 2015, 08:23:16 AM
I am wondering what gets a developper of benefits maintaining and programming new features to a coin?

I mean if there was no premine and the dev could grab some coins at the start ok, but in the long run the
Value depends on the dev implementing new features keeping the folks interested in the coin.
(Website hosting, Marketing,Programming)
Its like a real business with expenses which need to be coverd. And dont forget the Dev need a income for a living too. Huh

I mean its just easier to invest in existing coins
So what are their motives?

your post is so full of shit it's not even funny.

for starters NO the devs don't deserve fuck all for their time and work.
guys if you can't afford the up start costs of starting a new global "currency" then don't do it.. period.
don't sit there and tell me you deserve a premine or a Million dollars.. cough cough BLOCKNET

and
Quote
Value depends on the dev implementing new features keeping the folks interested in the coin.

whaaat ? LOL  Roll Eyes

uhh son, the value lies with the currency being USED by humans.
the intrinsic inherint value of these things are mostly null.. nada.. zilch

I here noob coin cloner here wants to call himself a dev cause he got a Tut and ripped of some code from github
and now he wants to justify he needs a premine and a cash flow to keep people "interested"
oh yeah all that matters is you keep adding new features to a coin  Roll Eyes

jesus Christ wow..
it is so painfully crystal clear obvious most of you (so called "devs") are here to siphon money from people (while playing dumb about it)
So uhhhhhh who is paying Github ?
Seems to me all you coin cloners tacking on new features should be paying them a ton of money for the REAL product / service THEY provide.
hear them crying ?

edit:
oh and i'll give you some advice for success..
rather than being worried about "keeping people interested"
you go outside and bring in NEW users to crypto.
not hanging out here flogging coin clones to the same old dwindling handful of us older crypto-fanatics.

wow, you didn't understand the main point of the post. interesting...
I try to lead you the way. So for example, if you make a coin without any premine and invest your time in there. you believe in it and implement nice innovations. I am NOT talking of shitty clones but really NEW things.

Lets say we mine it and you only have a small computer but I have the mega blast and mine 10 times of your coins because I also think you make that very good. The coin market cap will grow and I hold 10 times more money although I did a shit and you are the innovator.
Do you think this is fair? Why should you stick to your coin? Would you think about new innovations, bugfix and try to promote it? (I hope, that you understand, that a coin doesn't promote or bugfixes itself and users don't promote normally...)
Of course your coins value would grow as well, but its not that much, so that you earn maybe more collecting returnable bottles...

Don't you really see the point?
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there no new coins in the top 20? on: June 28, 2015, 08:06:01 AM
I am sorry, that you see that as negative, but I find it good and needed, that the top coins keeping their top position. I guess it will be harder and harder to get to the top position in the next years. The reason is, that people want to have a consensus, which coins will be used in future.
And if top coins loose their top position and die, that means everyone who worked for it, was not payed for the time any more...

Crypto will replace fiat and we will have several payment possibilities.
But there will not be hundreds. Only a few will stay on top, the rest will always stay on a starving position.

I personally also don't like it, that there are every week new coins, that wants to be invested to.
I invested in a lot of coins, just to make sure not to loose any train. But the more coins there are and wants to be invested, the more I have to invest to keep on track. Thats why I don't want the top coins to drop down into the nowhere and always coming new ones.

Every innovation can also be implemented in top coins. Competition is needed, that is true, but that is already there. No need for new companies all the time, if innovators, can join already present ones...
1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The BITTREX de-listing SCAM on: June 28, 2015, 07:40:18 AM
I think, the best way would be to create a private key, where the coins are stored and send it to the user by email.
Everything done... The user doesn't have to do any action... ridiculous, that this is not already the standard...

I lost a high amount of coins. If they ever turn out to get worthy later, I will bite my ass for sure...
1134  Other / Off-topic / Re: Online blessing? on: June 27, 2015, 02:02:50 PM
Nope , real blessings dont ask for any sort of donations after blessings . This is a single paged website which has nothing except some nonsense words .

Have you ever been in the church? If you want to look at it like that, they also want you to donate and just give you some more or less "nonsense words" as well. There are people, that find bad things in everything...
1135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Logarithmic (non-linear) regression - Bitcoin estimated value on: June 26, 2015, 09:48:31 AM
Hi Trolololo,

I love your graphs and I think they are a good estimation. Thank you.
I just think, that there are some wrong assumptions.

1. The price is depending on the dollar. That means, that the fed printing money or stopping can change that. In the worst case they can for example move a lot of money of the market and let everything dive into worst deflation. That could change the graph completely and turn it maybe upside down. I suggest to use GOLD as comparision currency. Can you use the graph estimation depending on ounces or grams of gold? I guess it could be a little more stable as well.

2. I don't think that the function is accurate for long term. With the dollar it may look like the right one an may also look like that later if the fed is continuing to ease. If you switch to gold you need definitely a function with a supremum. If the adaption is complete bitcoin shouldn't change much any more to gold...

regards
Oliver

I have been blessed!

Be glad, that you are not the button. Then you would have been pressed ;-)
1138  Other / Off-topic / Re: Online blessing? on: June 25, 2015, 09:43:05 AM
Takin' the idea to the nth degree...

You've Been Cursed!

Simple have a field so that a person can place the name of the person they want to curse in and you're golden.

Then, have a page that dynamically displays all those that've been cursed. Bonus points awarded if said page has fire and screams.

some kind of peer to peer cursing? also not bad ;-)
but I think, we should be more positive. The world is bad enough, so that we don't have to add more...
1139  Other / Off-topic / Online blessing? on: June 25, 2015, 08:41:36 AM
Isn't that a nice idea?
The HOLY button :-)

Dear makoto,
please, tell me - why Extended redemption ended on 5/31, and not 6/30, or 12/31??
In letters to the tokens had no warning of the date, and I have,
believe me, it was a difficult period in my life, so I can't read the forums.
The last two months I did not go out to the Internet.
And now I know that you have deprived me of the steak, because confusing time limits.
I suggest you do a good deed for latecomers stakeholders - to prolong the Extended redemption..
I believe in your justice, just as I believe in the future of your NEM.
In the final list stakeholder my number - 90

Need Extra Millennia...for redemption.
Ok. My "ticket" is now worth approximately 1,5 BTC. Where can I return the "ticket" and get "money"?

Wrong. Your ticket is now worthless.
Just as if you bought a ticket for the cinema and didn't go...
