1121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: April 20, 2023, 01:16:21 AM
Trading is not a get-rich-quick scheme. Most beginners usually want immediate gratification, hence, they venture into crypto trading with little or no knowledge at all. I don't think people who are just starting our in crypto should engage in trading.

They should get a good understanding of the concept before they begin trading. This would obviously take quite a lot of time but it would be worth all the mistakes and errors in the future. Information is power.
Indeed. Some people think it's easy to become a trader and you can earn huge in instant, not aware how risky it is. Knowledge is vital in trading, trying to trade without knowledge is like going to a war without a gun since you don't have idea of what you're getting into. It's likely that you'll only lose your money because you missed the basic steps that a trader should do before starting.

Thus, for newbies, if you'd like to become a trader then learn to fill your mind with knowledge and don't rush. Because it takes time and that is when you are already aware of the things to know (trading strategies, technical analysis, self control etc.) and able to understand the market flow.
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: April 19, 2023, 05:32:19 AM
I’m looking to invest 10k, I’m trying to decide if to go with XRP or ADA.
You have a decent capital to invest in just 2 coins.
Why did you choose XRP and ADA? For me XRP is not a good coin to hold for long term because of the case while ADA is not bad but I prefer to add more coins in my portfolio aside from these coins.

It would be better to invest your money to few more altcoins that has good future like ETH and BNB, this is to minimize the risk. So for long term include Bitcoin ETH, BNB and the 2 coins of your choice then allocate some to a coins that you think has potential or might be a hidden gem.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 19, 2023, 03:05:05 AM
But generally, if you play for 50 spins then you don't get any big wins, triggered the features, free spins, scatter, or even wild win, on most of your sessions then better switch careers as gambling it's 100% not for you, simple as that.
Or you can try other games aside from slots. Maybe your luck is not in slots but in other casino games like poker, live games or skills based like sports betting. There are many choices hence if you're not lucky in slots why stick to it?

In my experience playing slots, most of the time my funds are turning negative, I didn't had a chance to win huge. So I tried other games (Baccarat live) and that's where I find myself winning somehow. Anyway, whatever games you play, always have discipline so you can control yourself regardless of the result of your bet.
1124  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: April 19, 2023, 01:33:34 AM
but a mere $11,000, what is $11,000 compared to $1.4 million dollars?
We must be wise in managing gambling funds and must be able to control ourselves from greed, many gamblers experience high losses due to emotional factors and greed to win bets.
That's true. It's not worth to risk millions just to win $11k. Greed and the over confidence that the result would be on his favor are the mistakes that he committed and can't turn back anymore because it happened already.

The reason why it's important to keep in mind that gambling is risky and the outcome is not guaranteed. So don't risk your money if you can't bear facing losses incase the result is not what you expected it to be.
1125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No late comer in bitcoin Investment. on: April 18, 2023, 08:54:08 AM
I understand the concern about the price of Bitcoin being high, but I think it's important to remember that Bitcoin is a long-term investment. Just like any other investment, there will be ups and downs, but over time, the value has consistently grown. So, if you're willing to hold onto your investment for a while, there's a good chance you'll see a return on your investment.
The reason why it is important to have knowledge about what you are getting into to understand the cycle and the nature of Bitcoin. It's understandable to have worries and doubts for new investors because they're thinking it's already late to join the ride. However, if you study how it works then you'll realize that it's not really late if you're going to be a long term hodler.

Thus, while the bullrun is not here yet, take advantage the current price to have some Bitcoin. Because we'll never know when might the price will start to skyrocket.
1126  Economy / Gambling / Re: Positive Gambling Quotes for 2023! on: April 18, 2023, 04:24:16 AM
Quote
Gambling is not about how well you play the games, it’s really about how well you handle your money.

I find this quote very interesting because it talks about money management. It reminds me of a story I read on the internet . How a cabbage collector became rich by winning a national lottery of about £9.7M and after 10 years he became broke because he did not put the money he won into good use but squandered it on drugs, drinks, clubbing, partying and women.
I also saw a similar story from a documentary here wherein a man became an instant millionaire after winning in a lottery. The winning amount is good enough to live comfortably in his lifetime but just like your story, he spent the money in not important things with many friends around him taking advantage his generosity. He managed to buy lots but sold it later on after suffering from his illness.

It's really true that if the money didn't came from your own hard work, it's easy to spend it. Because you'll value more your money if it's the fruit of your hard work. Well, I think it still depends for each person on how you manage your money and be wise enough to spend it accordingly.
1127  Economy / Gambling / Re: $100 to $2519 on Strikebits.com today! on: April 18, 2023, 12:58:01 AM
New poster here, just wanted to share the winnings from my session today on a new casino as I'd like to leave a good review. I deposited $100 to start with and proceeded to hit a few 20x multipliers on $5 bets getting me up to around $370. I then waited for red streaks of 4 or more and then martingaled it all the way up to $2800 then went down to $2519 when I cashed out.
It's likely you're part of the team and trying to attract the gamblers to also play on that site. Tell them to create an ANN thread here so everyone can see if their site is really legit and not a shady casino.

it's a scam.
I make withdrawal and they not pay..... Angry
How much is your deposit and what games did you play? This casino is pretty new but already have this kind of accusation. It's better for gamblers to stay away on this site.
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: April 17, 2023, 09:28:52 AM
What I know is that altcoins have a bigger risk than the botcoin itself, the bigger you take the risk, of course, the closer you will lose a lot of money, the risk does exist, but we can reduce it by managing money in a good way.
To reduce the risk don't invest blindly in coins without doing your own diligent research. Some of us are investing in altcoins because of hype thinking it's worthy to invest in, then will panic if the price plunged because the hype is over. Investing in altcoins are quite risky especially to the new ones since they're not established yet. Thus, it's important to dig deeper and don't invest just because of what you think and have no concrete basis.

Anyway, invest in Bitcoin because it is good to hold for long term then include few alts in your portfolio based on your own analysis and not through recommendation. Having your own knowledge about the coins are important so you can understand if the coins are worth to hold either for long or short term.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we should play on minor gambling platform? on: April 17, 2023, 04:52:23 AM
Why we should play with minor gambling platform, and not use only gambling platform like Stake, CloudBet, fortunejack ecc. which ensure us good games, 100%
There's nothing wrong if we try out the new casinos to have a new experience on the games they're offering, especially if they have unique one that we can't see to the casinos where we used to play. Unique games, bonuses and promotions can attract us to play in new casino.

Moreover, these reputable casinos that are existing for years are once a new site too, and it takes time to build and established their good reputation. That being said, new casinos can also become a big one in time, when they already prove that their casino is trustworthy and providing good services. If we're not satisfied with their services we can always opt to stop playing there since there's no rule that we only need to stick in one casino.
1130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: April 17, 2023, 02:41:44 AM
Gambling must not be your path to success, you will get rekt very fast.

Do not build any dreams around gambling at all.
Well, some gamblers are thinking gambling can make them rich quick so they're hoping to win huge when they're playing. Having such mindset is not right when you gamble because it is likely that you'll never stop playing until you reach that goal.

So don't gamble if you high expectation because that's not how it should be. Just play to have and fun so that you can enjoy more the games and not pressuring yourself to have a huge win. In addition, only use the money that you can afford to lose, it's the basic thing that many of us forget for not having discipline and self control.
1131  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SIM Registration: Anong Dapat Ipag-alala? on: April 17, 2023, 12:45:55 AM
Meron din FAQ's yung globe with regards to multiple sim registration: https://new.globe.com.ph/simreg

1132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 16, 2023, 09:07:18 AM
I think people don't understand that there is no strategy in gambling. Gamble but consider your spendings on it as an entertainment expense. Got luck on your side and won? Good. If you don't you still had fun.
There isn't really a general gambling strategy, but seasoned gamblers may have created their own unique one that occasionally works for them. I used to believe that these specific gambling strategies were created with the idea that their losses should be kept to a minimal. Because the house usually wins in the end. Gamblers lose if the house wins, but then they shouldn't lose a lot.
I agree. These strategies used by gamblers are not really an effective strategy to profit but more on minimizing their losses so they will not get busted early.

If you gamble and had a strategy in mind to use, it's not guaranteed that it will work as planned since gambling are mostly depending on luck and you have no control on it. Hence, it's just right to gamble with less expectation in to win so you won't have regrets that you spend your money in gambling, only to gain nothing.
1133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Times When Casinos Will Ask Certificate That You Are A Responsible Gambler on: April 16, 2023, 07:04:57 AM
Uploading such file "responsible gambler certificate" before playing on gambling platforms won't help problematic gamblers to gamble because "government is trying to protect the users' wealth". Certs can be forged, faked, etc.
Exactly. What's the point of having this certificate if it can be fake of someone who's eager to gamble despite of not being a responsible gambler when already playing. Moreover if you're a casino owner, do you want to limit your gamblers because he's playing excessively? BTW Casino is a business.

There is no cure for addiction, remember that, it's someone's sole responsibility to do avoid, stop and be responsible in anything they should do even not in gambling, as long it is considered as addiction.
There's a cure but it will start by helping ourselves. So it depends on us if we're a responsible person to control ourselves in everything we do.
1134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: April 16, 2023, 04:57:22 AM
I recently discovered that I signed up for a casino without thoroughly reading its terms and conditions agreement. But of course this was entirely my fault even that I am still bothered by the withdrawal requirements on deposits. It is well known that deposit bonuses or any bonus offered by a casino will have wagering requirements that goes to x50 or more. What truly concerns me is the 5X wagering requirement on normal deposits without any bonus in order to withdraw the initial deposit or winnings.
To clarify things better here is an example : if you were to deposit $1000 and win $200 in your first few games then you wouldnt be able to withdraw your winnings or even your deposits without wagering at least $5000. This means that 80% of the time, you would lose your money before reaching the required amount.
In my opinion this term is unfair. I am not attacking any specific casino, but I do believe that if users were aware of these requirements they would be less likely to deposit their money in such casinos since there are other casinos without such stringent requirements.
5x wagering requirement? I never encounter such yet, what's the name of the casino? So we'll become aware. It seems like the casino wants you to just play and not minding to withdraw your earnings. Well, it's not a problem if you are playing to entertain yourself but if your main goal is to profit (that's why you're playing) then it's really a big deal.

This is the reason why it's important to read the TOS of the casino to know their rules. So you can decide if you still want to continue playing even after knowing their set rules or find other casinos that is suited for what you're looking for.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 16, 2023, 02:54:41 AM
I rarely play slots because everytime i'm playing, I often get busted and never even had some profit. My biggest winnings are not over $100 from my experience playing slot. So it's not really an option for me when i'm in the mood to gamble.

always set a budget for playing slots and stick to it. do not chase losses or try to win back what you have lost by playing more.
This is not only applicable in slots but in casino games in general. It's important to have set budget and don't go beyond your limit. If you lose, stop and move on. Trying to chase your losses can only give you headaches of losing more.
1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: cashout money on: April 16, 2023, 01:12:17 AM
hello is it possible to cashout money  without being the owner  without having documents to proof you are the owner  and when the account is frozen?
Why the account is frozen? There's a reason for it and usually they detected something unusual in your activity. So the solution for this is to send documents if they ask KYC. Since you're not the real owner of the account I don't think there's a chance for you to withdraw your money.

This is the risk of using other's account when something went wrong with the account and there's a money involved. In this situation, you made a mistake.
1137  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 16, 2023, 12:38:39 AM
Question to users in this thread: If we do future art contests what kind of changes would you like to see? The last few ones have been super close when winners are decided so I'm thinking that maybe if we lower the 1st/2nd prize a bit and add a 3rd/4th place prize too. I'll also run something by Roobet to see if free spins or free bets can be handed out to anyone who participates just a small thank you for joining. Happy to hear everyone's thoughts on this though!
I've been joining in Roobet art contest for few times already and even I don't usually win it's a pleasure for me to create an entry because I love what i'm doing. So the idea of giving a consolation prizes (free spins/bets) for the participants are much appreciated just incase it is implemented. The artists here are really good and it's hard to beat their artworks so if the team consider adding extra winners for each category that would be even better.

Nevertheless, congrats to all the winners of Snoop dogg x Roobet art contest, well deserved.
1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what about the fate of altcoins if btc drops to 10 dollars? on: April 14, 2023, 08:49:58 AM
we will not know for the price of bitcoin in the future, and I just want to know what you think, about the question this time that I will ask you all, namely..
what will happen to altcoins if btc price drops to 10 dollars?
It's likely the price of altcoins will also fall as most alts are influence by Bitcoin's price. So if the price of Bitcoin plunged to $10 then alts will also follow.

Anyway why did you ask? Do you think Bitcoin will drop to $10? With the current standing of Bitcoin now (adoption and increasing number of investors) I don't think the price will drop to such price. We don't know what lies ahead but i'm positive that there's still more to look forward.
1139  Economy / Economics / Re: Is some certain lifestyle a waste of money and time ? on: April 14, 2023, 03:08:07 AM
Do you think my friends' lifestyle is a waste of money and time ? How much do you spend on such gatherings on average ? Please let me know.
Well, if they gather 4 times a week just to have drinks, it's really a waste of money given that the total amount of drinks and foods they consume are expensive enough that can be a budget for a month. Are they well-off or somehow not struggling financially? Because if they do then it's not really an issue even they spend money for leisure to enjoy the company of each other. However for some of us who knows how hard to earn money and we value our family more than friends, it's really a waste of money and time.

I do go out with friends but not frequently, usually if there's an occassion to celebrate only. As a person with my own family already, I need to prioritize my family first more than anyone else since i'm not single anymore that can spend money and time with friends just to have fun. Of course there's nothing wrong with that but I have to limit myself.
1140  Local / Pamilihan / Re: What is the best crypto exchange in the Philippines? on: April 14, 2023, 01:22:01 AM
