281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 03, 2023, 06:27:08 AM
As a gambler? I don't think this can be called a career or a profession where a person can earn consistently. Unless you're not a gambler but a casino owner or one of the investor who have a shared profit from the casino's revenue.

Earning solely through playing is not profitable due to the house edge that can make the player lose regardless of how skillful or knowledgeable a gamblers are. Therefore, gambling should not be treated as a main source of income or a profession because it's not a reliable way to earn money for a living.
282  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: December 03, 2023, 03:07:18 AM
Sometimes when I see all this win, I like to just keep it to myself because if you eventually try to follow up with the urgency and let this kind of winning be a motivation then you might be surprised of the outcome of the whole results. 122,00$ is one of money that someone won on playing gambling and so many people get excited and say to themselves that if someone like out there can win such then what have I been doing but that's not how it's works every body luck is not the same.
I can relate to this. I'm really tempted to gamble everytime I see a player won a huge amount from playing the specific game. Usually on slot, a small bet who managed to hit a high multiplier, I felt motivated that what if it also happened to me? It's understandable to become attracted but it's not right to gamble just because you have this goal of winning the same amount. It's not a healthy way. Therefore when there's a game that attracts me, I just try it without any expectation. Anyway, I already tried this duel arena game after watching videos on how it works. It's fun but was not lucky to win from the other player. Maybe I'll try again some other time.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Streamer wins seem too good on: December 03, 2023, 01:23:29 AM
This can attract their viewers to deposit and gamble with real money of course, but they'll very rarely get the same results.
When you see a streamer winning huge, it's not impossible that it can also happen to you. However, the difference is they're using a decent bankroll and often sponsored by the casinos that they're promoting. Not their own money so placing bet is like they're just having fun since they have nothing to lose. Their goal is to promote a certain game of the casino and attract the gamblers.

What has your experience been? Has this affected you or your friends?
I just told them to not easily believe these streamers. If you want to try the game then don't have high hopes and always use a money that you can live without. It's tiring to hear but that's the fact that they must know before playing.
284  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: December 03, 2023, 12:38:31 AM
but our main target is to prevent all the people in the world because this scammers are
going in the internet and keeps scamming players though  I believe that it is lessen now because this casino
seems to be stopped in their luring or maybe now out of budget? good for the people and for our forum also.
and one thing i noticed that its been long now that there are no issues posted here , maybe this site already
gone now for good?

You are right that our main goal is to save the community from being scammed. Though they have stopped promoting here as they have active gambling threads a lot of people might be scammed again and again.

I would not go as far as assuming they stopped scamming people or that they have gotten out of money to continue their operations, though.
To me it would seem they may be going through a process of temporal withdrawal in order to come back again and further scam new victims. The fact there have not been new complaints against this casino around here it may be because this community is not being directly targeted by their advertisement as before, so gamblers for other places of the internet are being scammed, and they (the gamblers) are not aware of the existence of this forum for them to explain their cases.

Anyways, it is still refreshing not seeing them around here as often as before.
I also think 1xbit is busy outside to spread awareness about their casino. Before, they are so active promoting here with every event happening on their site, but now yes they are quiet. Well, isn't it better? If there's no exposure about 1xbit then no gamblers will be attracted to play because of their promotion. Thus, it's a good thing if they became less interested on this forum, since majority of users are already aware of their casino's reputation.
285  Other / Archival / Re: Wearing Bitcoin Clothing in Public on: December 01, 2023, 02:55:49 AM
I would love to have a shirt with a Bitcoin logo to wear in public. It can attract people and and a little way for us to spread awareness about the existence of Bitcoin. However, for security I will not disclose that I have a Bitcoin holdings because we'll never know what others might think. So it's better to be safe than facing the consequences of flexing my Bitcoin to others.

Because if the person is interested, he/she will do a research to find more information.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: Inventing a job is better than finding a job on: December 01, 2023, 01:54:51 AM
So which one should it be? Do you take the risk and invent a job or do you want to keep running the race knowing the possibility of winning is very low and you may never reach the finish line?
I already take a risk years ago for inventing a job (building my own business). I started from scratch, had a concrete plan on how we can make this possible. It's not easy and you have to be prepared especially financially. Good thing even there's so many competitors we are able to stand still because our business is already established and we gained loyal customers.

However, despite this, I am not contented and want to maximize my sources to earn that's why even having a business of my own, I chose to be employed (lots of benefits). There's an advantage if you choose both. But of course much better if you are the boss of the job that you invented.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Joy of forgotten Bitcoin accounts... on: December 01, 2023, 12:30:35 AM
This put a huge smile on my face, because it is the EXPENSIVE holiday season and I need all the money that I can get to fund this silly time of the year.
Nice to hear such story and timing for the current season. Good thing you're able to recover your funds from your forgotten account.

Have you experienced the same thing..... please share your story with us.  Wink
This is a bit different because it's not forgotten, instead, I lost my private key of MEW due to negligence where I have a decent holding of tokens and ETH few years back (this is during the hype of ICOs IEO). I already lose hope searching and gave up. After moving on (it took months), unexpectedly I found my keys written on a piece of paper with my other important documents. You can imagine how happy I am during that time.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coin memes don't have a project? Is it worth buying for the long term? on: November 30, 2023, 06:46:27 AM
Are meme coin worth buying in the long term?
What is your reason for buying meme coin?
Investing in meme coins are quite risky. Because unlike established coins, meme has no real use case and just relying on hype. If the particular meme is popular and has many investors, people who are looking for quick profit are tempted to also join the ride.

Moreover it's not good for long term because you'll never know if it still has a value after few weeks or even months after buying it. If you're interested then go for Doge or Shiba and not the ones who just launched recently with still a cheap price. But be aware of the risk and always apply the basic rule to only invest the amount that you can live without.
289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I still hold the investment or sell it? on: November 30, 2023, 01:16:49 AM
When the price of Bitcoin reached $38K I thought I would sell my investment but I didn't sell my investment yet hoping for something better. Thinking whether to sell the investment or not I thought I should share the matter in the forum and I will get the best solution from the forum that's why I am sharing the matter in the forum whether I should hold on to my investment or sell it now.
I don't need the money anyway, if I sell my investment now I have to deposit this money in the bank again.
It's normal to have worries when you invest your money. But what you think is the wise decision at this time that can give you peace of mind? Because you're the only one who can decide for yourself.

Majority of people here are a Bitcoin investors, quite obvious what would be their advice. Anyway, ask yourself if is it good to sell already (since you're already in profit for buying at $25k) or keep holding? What do you prefer? Keep in mind that when you deposit your money in bank, the interest is too low that you can't even feel it.
290  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Binance-Tirlu Trading on: November 30, 2023, 12:38:27 AM

Exactly. May maganda namang naidulot dahil dyan ako natuto.

291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Request to learn gambling on: November 29, 2023, 06:39:02 AM
Well, this is another serious matter, and I had to discourage her.

It's about an old female friend who posted me just about two days ago; her request was for me to teach her how to gamble at any easy casino that she will understand so quickly and make money. Her motive for making this kind of request is because she wants a second source that she can use to earn extra income. I explained what gambling truly is, and I discouraged her from learning how to gamble.

Now, there's a simple question that I want to ask: do you guys think I should introduce her to gambling? If yes, what's the easiest game she can stake in and also enjoy while gambling?
If I were in your position I can't follow her request. Because I won't let that through me, there's an old lady who will gamble just because of the thought that she can make money out of it. Her main reason is not to have fun and kill time, but to treat gambling as her way to earn an extra income. If that's even possible then probably many of us are already treating gambling as a side hustle, unfortunately that's not the case since gambling is a game of luck.

Thus, much better to explain to her your position and if she insist, then she can search online for the informations that she want to know about gambling (even the games that are easy to play). Because it does not feel good to see someone becoming hooked in gambling negatively and you're the one responsible on why she engaged herself in gambling.
292  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: November 29, 2023, 04:53:37 AM
This is true.

Other gamblers don't understand that they have been subjected to KYC not only for one thing. Because most believes that it's all about the government forcing casinos to ask for KYC.

Yes, that's one. But the casinos will also ask for verification due to shady activities where they can see it through your account audits or logs.
Every user of a centralized casino must prepare themselves to be willing to verify KYC when they ask you to complete KYC, because some casino regulations have stipulated ToS related to KYC even without the cause of your account log carrying out suspicious activities.

The main point is that you have to be prepared for the risk of KYC if you gamble at a centralized casino, some casinos will require KYC when withdrawing and I think it might be the best option to complete KYC on your gambling registration account because your account will not have problems with KYC.
It is now recommended to comply on the identity verification before playing. So you don't have to worry about this when the time comes that you need to withdraw a decent amount as your profit for playing. As I have said before, KYC is now common for centralized casinos since they're regulated. Therefore if you don't want to undergo KYC, then there's always an option to stay away and find a decentralized casinos wherein you can gamble anonymously.
293  Local / Pamilihan / Binance-Tirlu Trading on: November 29, 2023, 01:48:10 AM
So far ay in profit na sya ng more or less 50k.

Too good to be true ba? Meron na bang nag try nito dito?
294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not this guy on: November 28, 2023, 11:49:12 PM
This guy is giving me a weird vibe, like a different gambling breed, he knows he have the gambling addiction problem but he just doesn't care, like for real, he doesn't care, the amount he has lost is in six figures but very weird how he is able to handle it.

Some gamblers are different breed to be honest, they don't care about what their present situation is, if they are breathing they are good, anyone know crazy gambler who don't care if they lose big amount of money and they still gamble?
Im curious of this guy's life status. Well, probably he don't have family relying on him or maybe he is a rich guy (these are just an assumptions). Because that's what I can think of as reasons for a gambler to act as if what he spent in gambling is like nothing. He is not affected and doesn't care at all. Anyway, based on the story he is a compulsive gambler who only cares of feeding his gambling activity and not thinking of the consequences. Well, it's his life anyway.
295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the rich win gambling more than the poor. on: November 28, 2023, 04:37:46 AM
I have observed that the rich, I mean those who are financially comfortable, win more in gambling than the poor. By poor, I mean those who do not have enough to meet all their needs. I don't know the reason for this. Could it be that the rich understand financial management more? Or could it be that the rich are less desperate to win which make them make better gambling decision? I really want to know the reason for this pattern I have observed.
It's because rich can play longer. Their budget is decent enough to keep playing and that's their chance to somehow win after having losses. In addition, they also see it as their time for leisure since money is not a problem. While poor only have a limited bankroll. Imagine having a small amount that could be use to buy food, yet they opted to use it in gambling just because they're hopeful to increase their money. So we can say the difference of bankroll between rich and poor is one of the reason why.
296  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mga Artista Na Scam Ng Crypto Investment on: November 28, 2023, 03:04:54 AM

I think ganun siguro talaga kapag marami kang pera.

297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who should own a demo account? on: November 28, 2023, 01:03:44 AM
There is no restriction to who can own a Demo trading account, a new trader or an expert trader. I know many traders may feel like they are now bigger than demo accounts, and only new traders should have demo accounts for demo trades, but I think that to avoid losses still, expert traders should also have demo accounts for trying out new strategies before they try it live. What do you think?

Do you as an experienced trader that has made profit from the market repeatedly, do you still have a demo account for trying out new strategies?
Demo account is not only for newbies, even an experienced traders can use it for new strategies that they want to try.  Actually, it's an advantage if you're still using demo account, just shows you're careful and wise to try first if your new strategy can work.

However, if you're already an expert, had many experiences, probably you already learn from those. Therefore, even you're not using a demo account, still, you're able to profit for being good of what you do. Experience is still the best teacher and that's how you can gain ideas on what to do when you trade.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling game is not good and everyone should stay away from it on: November 28, 2023, 12:31:14 AM
Gambling is not for the weak. Gambling is fun. Just like beer, it is sweet and also bitter. It is capable of intoxicating you if you do not play it responsibly. So, If you are not strong enough to withstand the heat, quit!
Exactly. It's not for everybody because not all can play in moderation. There are people who bet using their hard-earned money which they can't afford to lose, yet still decided to use it to play. Because they're thinking through gambling, they can possibly triple their money which is a mistake.

OP, if the outcome of your father's games were good, I bet you won't tell us to avoid gambling. The problem is not the game but how you play it. Once you notice gambling is becoming a problem to you, quit when you still can.
Well, certainly. Our stance regarding it will depend on how gambling influenced us. Therefore, if you think gambling is not good based on your own experience, so be it. We're old enough anyway to handle ourselves.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most gamblers do not believe they can consistently make money, that's why... on: November 27, 2023, 04:28:34 AM
If you're someone who doesn't believe anyone can be profitable in gambling, you might as well consider yourself not welcome in this thread. I'm looking for people who maintain optimism about their chances in gambling so they can share valuable insights.
Based on your experience as a gambler, do you find gambling profitable? What I mean is you're able to win more rather than losing your money? Being optimistic that you can indeed make money in gambling often leads to disappointment because everything didn't go according to planned.

It's because regardless of what skills you have, the strategy you use and the way you manage your bankroll, the fact still remain, that in gambling you need luck. It's the major factor to win (even in skill-based games). Therefore I don't believe in consistent winning or you can can make money through it. Unless, you became lucky to hit a jackpot like in lottery.
300  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 27, 2023, 02:48:18 AM
Yeah, they do still have that signature but recently they have decided to cut down its participant numbers on which means that they are that lessening their revenue?
or simply they had just that enough in terms of marketing or exposure into this forum? Cant be known. Im one of their participants and been kicked off.
In speaking about their art contest i dont know if they had lessen out their prize for winners or not but if there's some changes then its obvious that they are cutting expenses.
Im not saying that they are decreasing out their revenue and it is all just that an assumption.
The long exposure of Roobet here in the forum might made them realized the need to cut their expenses and probably this is one of the reason.
The reward for their art contest depends on how long it will run, usually if its for a month then they will increase the reward though if it will take 15 days only then they will divide it. It's hard to tell their revenue here in the forum alone and how successful their market here, but knowing how established they are I'm sure there's always a valid reason for the changes, still one of the few signature campaign to remain active todate.
I don't think their revenue is the issue as the reason for cutting expenses through decreasing of their sig participants. Because if that's the case, then why they are still conducting an art contest here? (Exclusive only for forum users), the prize is quite generous and they're consistent in it. I'm not certain but I think this coming December, they will launch an art contest again for the holiday season since that's what we used to in the past years. Anyway, Roobet is indeed one of the casino with a long running campaign and among of those who have less to no complaints from their gamblers.
