301  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Mga Artista Na Scam Ng Crypto Investment on: November 27, 2023, 12:41:57 AM

302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can old generation cause the habit of gambling in young generation ? on: November 26, 2023, 08:49:25 AM
There are some old people in my family which are paying cricket fantasy games. They usually talk about the games and their performance is matches almost daily. It is obvious that if any younger guy in family will listen about this, he will also be eager to know more about this. How can I stop the younger generation in my family being carried away by this and focus on other important things like studies only ?
The younger generation should not be exposed in this kind of conversation. Because what they used to see might adopt and influence them to think it is right since that's what they're seeing from the adults of the family.

Thus, if the adults are talking about gambling, much better to let the kids go to their room or do some activities. This way, they are not expose at a very young age to gambling to think it's just normal. As a parent we need to become a role model to our kids and be responsible to keep this kind of conversations between adults only.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot games are a waste of time and money (most of the time) on: November 26, 2023, 07:32:38 AM
But unfortunately, I ended up losing the entire $55 dollar while I still had about $582 dollar in wager requirement, I am not confident enough to deposit and continue chasing, so I'm giving up.
One of the reason why I am not attracted to free spins offered by casinos. Because there's a wagering requirement (which is understandable) that is hard to achieve if you're just going to rely solely to the profit you gained from these free spins.

I've never been lucky with slot games, never, and I am not pleased about it to be honest.
What about you?
I'm not a fan of slots but somehow I had experience of winning from Rise of Olympus using my small deposit money. But because it's a luck based games and having a decent bankroll is necessary (if you want to play longer and hoping to hit a high multiplier), I rarely play since I prefer to gamble live Baccarat where you can follow a patterns to somehow maximize the chance to win the bet, (although it's not guaranteed of course).
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone been able to make steady income with gambling ? on: November 26, 2023, 04:23:22 AM
Has anyone been able to make steady income with gambling ? If yes, what had been your strategy ? Do you diversify to multiple games in order to ensure that end result is always profit ?
By just playing? I don't think it's possible (having a stable income) since luck is a major factor to win. Therefore, it will be hard to profit consistently. In addition, it is not advisable to play with a desire of gaining money, just play for fun.

I personally feel that there are very less chances of making a steady income with gambling. In fact, if you win a big amount in gambling, from there on , you should play games with less on stake and keep the winnings invested in some good option like crypto. It is important to have self control to end profitably with gambling ventures online. Do you agree with this ?
That's how it should be. If you're fortunate to have a chance of winning huge, use it wisely by not going to spend it all again in gambling. Refrain from doing so, otherwise you might regret not enjoying your winnings just because you can't control yourself.
305  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: November 26, 2023, 02:49:59 AM
This is what i expect gamblers to know that the gambling platforms cannot bend down to the gambler's request except if such comply to their terms and conditions, there's no way i will be using a platform but yet insisted that i don't know much about them, if i don't then they are smart enough to fish out things that they know am unaware of concerning to them and then they use it against me untill further proof and informations were given.
Casinos who will do such thing are shady. Because if the platform is trustworthy, they will not use a trick to take advantage their gamblers for something that they're not aware of. It's a common practice for casinos to ask for verification if you win a decent amount especially if you exceeds the limit.

However, this rule should be written on their ToS and they're transparent regarding this. And even kyc is not compulsory at first for new player, they will understand that this is inevitable in the future. So it's the responsibility of the gambler to read the rules to be certain that they understand and agree on the casino's rules.
306  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: November 26, 2023, 01:37:38 AM

So now that they had launched up their signature campaign in regarding about this Duel arena on which means that they are really indeed serious on this one.
Their seriousness can be seen by creating a signature campaign that is separate from the one they have been running for a long time, and the number of participants they open for the signature campaign is quite many so the weekly costs are quite large.
Usually, if there is a casino that has run a signature campaign and there is a new feature at the casino, they will only change the signature code to display the newest features, but Rollbit makes something different.
Well, this is to spread awareness specifically for this new game launched by Rollbit. The Duel Arena pvp game is really interesting. I just watched Ayezee's stream to have an idea, seems fun to play. It's another game that can attract the gamblers to have a duel to other player (with 0% edge). I will try this game later to experience it myself.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Often Do You Check Your Seed Phrase. on: November 24, 2023, 04:28:52 AM
Lessons( 1) Do not keep your seed phrase in a particular place (2) Always check your seed phrase to be sure it is intact (3) Be sure you alone have access where your seed phrase is kept.
I'm guilty of not following what you have said here. Because I kept my seed phrase to my hidden wallet without duplicate and I rarely check it. Guess i'm to complacent knowing that it is kept in a safe place.

But yes, it's really crucial to check our seed phrase if it is still secure. That's our key to our wallet hence it just right to ensure that it's safe. So much better also to have a duplicate and no one can access because nowadays it's hard to trust.

309  Economy / Economics / Re: Insurance is important on: November 24, 2023, 12:49:55 AM
I don't know who needs to hear this but you need to get insurance if you have assets that are your source of income and it can be insurable. This may not mean much to a lot of folks in developed countries because they're familiar with it, but a lot (and I mean a lot) of people in underdeveloped countries don't care about insurance.
There is poor awareness about the importance of Insurance in some countries, so some of the citizens and people never hear about it, or hear it always feel like it does not apply to them because of insufficient information about it. Some know about vehicle and property insurance, but do not know about health insurance even when health is an asset. While for the other category of people in the under developed and developing countries, they may have heard about Insurance but due to how poor the economy and how they struggle for money may never consider it as important.
Indeed. But once you experience this yourself (the unexpected calamities and life situations) that's when you'll realize the importance of having an insurance. This is not a priority for some of us especially to people living in undeveloped countries but if we think deeper on how it can be useful in the future then we can say that it is wise to have one.

I can attest how important it is when my brother became ill. His life insurance help him financially because his health situation is considered as critical illnes, qualifying him to receive a huge amount. Now he is fully recovered and not struggling financially because of his insurance.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I understand meme coin good or bad position? on: November 23, 2023, 04:56:13 AM
Meme coins are simply meme coins. It all depends on the hype. We can see meme coins that will do 20 times better than DOGE but it all depends on the hype backing it. It is possible that a meme coin that seems like nothing suddenly gains a lot of hype and noise and the next thing it becomes the talk of the town. With this format with which they blow up, you can't really tell if they are good or bad because their value falls back on the hype level. I generally like to advise strong research before getting involved in normal Altcoins let alone meme coins. If you must invest in them, only do it with an amount that you can comfortably risk without FUD.
Since the price of Doge skyrocketed, so many meme coins, there are many risks that we have to face. So far, meme coins have always taken advantage of their hype period to become famous and ultimately skyrocketed in a short time. And herein lies the trap. because usually the price will immediately plunge and will not be able to come back again. And at that moment, many beginners end up trapped in a high buying position and cannot sell again at that price. So, large losses are often experienced here too. It would be better if you avoid meme coins if you don't know how to utilize them
FUD is the reason why many beginners are joining the ride to buy a meme coins even the price is already high. But due to the popularity, they are blinded by the profit since they don't want to miss the chance. Well, even before, whatever the current trend is (ICO, IEO, NFTs etc.) many of us tend to follow the hype because we want to profit. However it's a must for us to know what we are getting into before buying. Like these meme coins, they're risky to invest in compared to established coins. Therefore, always DYOR, so regardless of the result (if ever you invest) it happened because that's your decision and no one coerce you.
311  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you pay for signals? And how much ? on: November 23, 2023, 02:22:34 AM
Dlyou pay for signals? And how much ?
What's your monthly expenses for trading signals? Yearly?
I don't pay but i read alot people pay for signals so how good results If this ?
I don't pay for any trading signal services and as I have said before, for me it is not reliable. Come to think of it, if their signals are working accurately, then they can use it for their own trades and for sure it is profitable, right? So therefore there's no need to share it with others.

But the fact is, trading signals are not accurate and they will just take advantage the traders who don't have knowledge (about trading in general) and willing to pay. Hence they prefer to just subscribe to this kind of service to have a successful trade. Thus, better to educate yourself to learn on your own rather than relying on trading signals.
312  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Fee Observer Thread in USD(sat/vB) on: November 23, 2023, 01:03:55 AM
Update lang tayo sa fees. Medyo tumaas o mataas pa rin.

Code:
No Priority | Low Priority | Medium Priority | High Priority
26 sat/vB       74 sat/vB       81 sat/vB          88 sat/vB
$1.36           $3.87            $4.24               $4.61

source: https://mempool.space/

Hehe
313  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: November 22, 2023, 08:02:47 AM
Its best that anyone should never engage on both casino or those other which have proven to be a scam so that this scam casino owners will learn a lesson that they can't fool anyone in this forum since people becoming more smart thru the discussions happened here.
They're still operating their business because many gamblers are still playing on these casinos (1xbit/1xbet) That being said, as long as there are people who still chose to take risk playing on these scam sites despite of its bad reputation then even there are plenty of warnings, they will just ignore it.

Common reason is these gamblers never had experience yet to get scammed while playing on 1xbit and that's their defense for not stopping. Well, if there are already red flags, why wait until you experienced it for yourself? Many reputable casinos are existing as our option, so think first.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Two Carreer skill benefit of gambling on: November 22, 2023, 03:27:35 AM
1. Critical thinking
This is a positive influence of gambling if you're playing a skill-based games. Critical thinking can really apply to your career, and it's an advantage since you are used to it as a gambler. Thus, if you're able to use this attitude positively in your job, it just shows that you are a responsible gambler and didn't let the bad experience affect you. What I mean is the losses, because many of us are having a hard time accepting this situation resulting to the obvious changes in our personality (like bad temper, easily irritated, sadness etc.)
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to collect altcoins now or later? on: November 22, 2023, 01:15:11 AM
Some altcoins is huge pumping who's bought in a month ago, they already got profits 3x-4x in some specific coins likes SOL,MATIC & TON coin. But i would like to recommend BTC to collect in your bag, BTC is guaranteed investment if you can hold for the long term. If you’re interested to altcoins then choose top ranking coins.
No matter what with these altcoins pumping as much as they can, it should be recommended at all times to buy bitcoin. When people don't realize the power of stability of Bitcoin as the leader of this market. You don't have to be worried about the entire market because it moves the whole of it.
Whilst for these altcoins, yes they may pump as high as they can but you'll never know how it will be. So, if you're going to collect altcoins, do not hesitate to have Bitcoin first so that you're doing the right thing and then next is altcoins that you like.
Many think Bitcoin has already an expensive price to engage themselves, the reason why they're looking for alts that can give them huge profit once the market turns bullish. Well, there's nothing wrong if you'd like to diversify but just like what you said, it's best to prioritize holding Bitcoin since it is a profitable investment even it might takes time to profit. Then, you can fill your bag with altcoins of your choice. But much better to choose an established coins because they have real use case and not just a pump and dump coin relying on hype.

Nevertheless, investing in alts are risky therefore as an investor, we should be aware of this before doing so. Dig deeper to become certain that the specific coin is worthy to add in your portfolio then timing when to buy.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 9 Years Before He finally claim his lotto rewards on: November 21, 2023, 07:19:31 AM
Do you think it's worth the wait, he's getting 6% interest per annum but he still has to pay a lot of money and suffers a lot even to the point of having a rift with his daughter
Will you do the same thing and fight for your rights to claim the prize
It's all worth is since he won the battle. He got what he deserved now so all of the sacrifices financially, physically and mentally are now paid off. Although it took 9 years to finally claimed the price, at least it has a happy ending.

The lesson here is keep your ticket safe until you see the result. Because who knows you might be destined to become a lotto winner.
317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not keeping records makes me a bad gambler? on: November 21, 2023, 03:35:20 AM
That's one of the bad side of monitoring your records, as you will keep remembering your losses and the amount that you will try to recover,
most of the time, a gambler who knew the amount that he had already lost, got that mindset to try and recover.
I know that I already spent a decent amount in my gambling activity from then until now and the idea of keeping records of my losses can't help me to move on. So what's the point? Some gamblers might think that they need to keep playing to recover those losses (if they record it) and it doesn't feel good to have such feeling of guilt or eager to chase it back. Therefore I better record my remarkable winnings rather than the losses because good memories are worth remembering.
318  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bear Market over? on: November 21, 2023, 01:50:34 AM
Hi guys I was wondering that Bitcoin crossed 37000 dollars is there any chances that Bitcoin bear market over and we might see good greeny day.
What are your thoughts 🤔💭
No one can accurately predict on what's going to be the next movement of Bitcoin. Bear market might be over but it's not certain yet since anything is possible to happen. The market is unpredictable that it can change to being bearish again in just snap. Therefore, I won't be too complacent and just be alert on the movement (this is if you're investing in short period and wants to take advantage the price increase/decrease).

Nevertheless, The recent good news circulating really had a positive to impact to Bitcoin, plus the fact that halving is near. Many investors are looking forward to it and optimistic that bull run might happen again after.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I got started with Bitcoin and how it is blessing for me? on: November 21, 2023, 12:40:24 AM
In the end, I want to say one thing, in fact Bitcoin has not only worked as a support for my life, but after learning the details of its method, it has transmitted a kind of happiness, hope, trust and cheerful life energy in my mind.
Good for you. Those who experienced the significance and benefit of investing in Bitcoin will say nothing but nice words on how it changed their lives for the better. I became aware of Bitcoin during its early years too but didn't invest and just ignore it since I don't have idea that this will become a big thing in the future. It's already late before I realized my mistakes but that experience became a lesson for me to not miss the opportunity again.

Hence, i'm also fortunate that Bitcoin influence me positively. Although I don't think it is wise to rely solely on Bitcoin as main source of income for a living. I prefer to hold (and take profit at times) and wait for my target price while having a main job to give me a stable income.
320  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling and Invest in gambling. on: November 20, 2023, 08:05:50 AM
Investing in gambling by giving a loan to gamblers is not a good idea. Even if you have a written contract, how can they pay you when they get wrecked playing? Instead, use your money to establish a good business that fits your interest. It's fun to do business on something you really like.
Exactly. It can't be called investment since you're just giving yourself a headache once the gambler can't repay the money you lend. Maybe it's not your problem at all even the gambler lose, but think carefully if this person will able to repay you if that happened?

Lending money has always risk, even to those who will use the money for reasonable purpose like building business. Although it is risky as well at least the money won't be use in gambling since the outcome of the business will depend on how the person will work on it to become successful. Nevertheless, we have different strategy to gain and so if he consider lending money to gambler is an investment (since he's the only one who can say if it's profitable based on experience) so be it, that's his strategy.
