One thing I would like to see is the ability to gamble at a gambling site with Coin Magi as an acceptable form of payment. That would be really great as you could directly used your mined XMG instead of exchanging it to Bitcoin for gambling. Hope to see this happen real soon.  Smiley

P.S. Happy birthday 111magic!  Cheesy
11762  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: November 21, 2015, 07:02:10 PM
It all depends on your choosing, whenever you like the flexibility of having control of your own money, or to have the ability to earn interest from your savings account, I would like to state that each has their advantages and disadvantages. So until Bitcoin becomes a mainstream currency, it is best to use both a bank account and a Bitcoin wallet. Just my opinion.  Smiley
11763  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io BTCLend LNC. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: November 21, 2015, 07:01:04 PM
Paycoin is just another scam coin for Garza to steal the people's money (as XPY'S slogan is "The People's Money") All failed attempts to make a $20 crypto currency has made many investors (including me) lose a ton of money, because it was all hype. I'm so glad I'm out of this scheme and never coming back unless there would be a total remake of the coin with better innovation. Until now, I will stick to Peercoin which is better.  Smiley

Thanks for the payment. I'm sorry I've made these mistakes when posting. I will try to be more careful next time. Once again, payment was great!  Smiley
11765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 21, 2015, 06:47:27 PM
Will Ethereum be able to implement Proof of Stake on Ethers? I think it would be a great idea to stake Ethers (like a bank account which earns you interest) as this would make it more energy efficient than mining them with a GPU. Still there is a lot to be developed on, and maybe in the next 2 to 3 years we would be able to see Ethereum's true potential. This is an excting journey for Ethereum.  Cheesy
11766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AMBER] X13 POW/POS| 10k AMBER=0,01% SHARES | BUY, HOLD & GET DIVIDENDS in BTC/$ on: November 21, 2015, 12:21:00 AM
Amber has no reason not to reach 20K + sat 1 week from now.

1-No sell pressure ( since shareholders doesnt sell on the market)
2-Price is at 50% of what the company sell their share right now.

This thing is going to fly

I totally agree with you. Price right now has been going up since the last few days, making it go to $0.03 and over today. This is actually pretty good news for Ambercoin as more investors will dive in and this would increase shareholders as well. Just my opinion.  Wink
11767  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2015, 05:20:01 PM
2016 will be the most exciting year for BTC, since 2013.

-We will have the blocksize debate finally resolved.
    -Halving in summer
-Federal reserve pretending to raise rates
-More 0% interest rates in Europe
    -More capital controls for fiat.[/li][/list]

All ways pointing towards bitcoin, so we shall see.

Yes we should see. I don't spect that the price will increase.

But that people will talk more about Bitcoin.

Perhaps when the next halving comes, Bitcoin's price would increase substantially, thus making it an interesting commodity for investors to dive in and reap the rewards. That is just my opinion. I could be wrong, though.  Roll Eyes
11768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2015, 05:14:47 PM
The safest way I've expierenced is buying bitcoin and selling them again

Trying to make some profits of off that and you can't really lose

It takes a lot of patience to do this
yeah i think thats the best way.
But, do you have any tips for trading bitcoin?
because in a few months I'll probably try it, because i was sick of gambling

I don't know if this is a good tip, but it has remained as a standard rule when doing trading. Just buy low and sell high. Take advantage of Bitcoin's price volatility. That is the secret.  Grin
    11769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin v. Bitcoin on: November 20, 2015, 05:12:37 PM
I dont understand the demand for so many different altcoins, I guess you have to pay exchange fee to Bitcoin if you want spend your altcoin buying something, so why not just use Bitcoin and save on the unnecessary exchange fees  Huh  Is the Litecoin (or altcoins in general) realistically usefull for other things than price speculation ?

The only thing that Litecoin has useful is that it has faster confirmation times than Bitcoin itself. Maybe it is because Litecoin's network is not as crowded as Bitcoin's. Even still, it is good to keep both of them and play with the markets (if you know what I mean)  Roll Eyes
11770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 20, 2015, 05:08:37 PM
    Hey Everyone,

Anyone know why there is not a normal ETH wallet out just yet ? or did i just missed it ?
How do you all store your coins atm ? cause a exchange aint the way to go atm Tongue.

Also did anyone ever counted the max coin amount ? or a approx of it?

    Kind regards,

The GUI wallet called Mist is currently in beta stage. You have to be careful storing large amounts of Ether there now that the software it is beta. In the meantime, you can use the command line wallet called geth to store all your Ether as this is the one that it is being used right now because it is stable. Hope this helps.  Cheesy

P.S. You could also make a ETH paper wallet  Roll Eyes

is geth command line wallet ? i am using geth it is working but i can not see my balance.

If you want to see your Ether balance in geth, then you would type eth.getBalance(eth.coinbase)  That command would show you balance  in a jiffy. If I'm wrong, then please somebody correct my statement.  Wink
11771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: November 20, 2015, 01:34:00 PM
So what kind of gambling game would be best to win more than rather lose? Now that with dice games, there is no real strategy at all (and it is based on pure luck), I would like to know a game which I could gamble and win better (if there is it). Perhaps, it would be Blackjack or Poker?  Roll Eyes
11772  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: November 20, 2015, 01:31:26 PM
As Bitcoin's future becomes uncertain, it is hard to determine whenever it will be used as a mainstream currency or not. However, if Bitcoin keeps growing in price and demand, we might be seeing a great future for it. There are many things that BTC needs to have fixed and among them they are: block size and TPS. Other than that, Bitcoin is totally awesome.  Cheesy
    11773  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: November 20, 2015, 01:27:55 PM
The best thing about Bitcoin that I like is the ability to store large amounts of money on a paper wallet, without worrying about fees or restrictions such as banks do. A paper wallet would act as a vault or safe (like in a bank) where you keep all your savings there. I would always have control of my own money and spend it anytime, anywhere 24/7.  Cheesy

    11775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 20 llatops mining on: November 20, 2015, 11:49:46 AM
GPU which are more effective than CPUs for this task).  Smiley

For some PoWs, GPUs offer no advantage.
Some PoWs even leave your CPU running cool...

Exactly. Mining with GPU depends on the coin algorithm, whereas some are efficiently mined with the GPU while others are better mined with CPU. An example of this is Ethereum which can be mined with a GPU due to its Dagger Hashimoto algorithm. Please correct me if I'm wrong.  Cheesy
11776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where you get bitcoin news every day ? on: November 20, 2015, 11:29:45 AM
The sites I go to, provides good news of Bitcoin everyday and they are a constant source of information. Those sites are CoinDesk and Bitcoin Magazine. They are the best.  Grin
    11777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin v. Bitcoin on: November 20, 2015, 11:25:08 AM
I think Litecoin would die in the next few years if there is no innovation at all. The only thing that Litecoin is good for is trading and holding it for long term. In the end, Bitcoin will stay for plenty of years to come. Just my opinion.  Smiley
    11778  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2015, 11:22:33 AM
If Bitcoin's price remains as it is or it goes higher, then we could expect a good year for Bitcoin to shine in 2016. Maybe the marketcap would increase and development as well, since block size issue has not been solved yet. I will wait until next year and see how good it would go for Bitcoin.  Cheesy
11779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: November 20, 2015, 11:19:31 AM
Maybe we could spread the word of Bitcoin by making a commercial and stream it live whenever it is on a TV channel or YouTube. The commercial's purpose would be to attract people's attention by introducing a better way of payment than using standard payment methods such as Visa, Mastercard or even fiat money. I think this would really get Bitcoin towards mass adoption.  Roll Eyes
11780  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: November 20, 2015, 11:12:33 AM
Try to cut your expenses by spending less on services such as Internet service provider, phone service, and satellite TV service. Just choose the things that you really need and can afford to pay. If you do this, you will play right and save money for the long term. Just my opinion.  Wink
