11901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many altcoins do you hold? on: November 05, 2015, 03:16:51 PM
Everyday, my Bitcoin and alt coin portfolio gets bigger. I have around 20 alts in total and I invest a minimum amount of BTC into them for future reference. If price goes up, then I would reap in the rewards and benefit from the situation. As a backup, I make paper wallets of each alt coin I own, and put them nicely on my binder. For security purposes, I encrypt the wallets and only place the encrypted private key on the paper wallet.  Cheesy

Here is the large list of alt coins I hold right now: Ambercoin, ArtByte, Banxshares, Bitshares, Bleutrade Shares, Casinocoin, Diamond, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Expanse, Litecoin, LiteDoge, Magi, Monero, NuBits, Paycoin, Tekcoin and Clams.  Roll Eyes
11902  Economy / Economics / Re: What plans do you have for your BTC stash? on: November 05, 2015, 02:40:04 PM
I will just hold a decent amount of Bitcoins for the future, as I believe in it and think that its price will be higher by then. After that, I would take some of my Bitcoins from another wallet and buy a miner with it.  Grin
11903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you going to spend your bitcoin on? on: November 05, 2015, 01:24:21 PM
I'm just saving Bitcoins in the meantime. However, when I have a huge amount of Bitcoins, I will use them to buy a miner and an iPhone. Then the rest I will just treasure it for the future.  Grin
11904  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price fall on: November 05, 2015, 12:57:19 PM
Maybe is because the massive pumps have ended? But still, I think the price is great apart from what it was like a month ago ($235). Perhaps, in the end of 2015 the price would rise between the $500 - $600 mark. I'm still holding my Bitcoin here.  Roll Eyes
11905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2015, 12:28:40 PM
There are methods that are proven effective towards growing your stash of Bitcoins. These have always worked for me, although sometimes staking doesn’t work that much…

1. Staking

2. Trading

3. Investing on shares (Banxshares, Blockshares, Billshares, etc)

4. Sell your BTC when price is high to a stable crypto pegged to fiat (Nubits, Tether, BitUSD, etc)

5. And other I might have missed.

How do you invest in shares?

Simply buy shares from trusted sources. First make a research, before investing in any of these just to be safe. You can invest on Banxshares (http://banx.io), Bleutrade Shares (http://bleutrade.com), or Blockshares (https://bcexchange.org/). Some of them give you payout (dividends) every week, and some give you dividends every month.

For more info on their prices, you can check out: http://coinmarketcap.com

Hope this helps.  Wink
interesting post, how much you can earn from banx, i've missed this one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1219292.0 i dont know what was banx, so i have not joined with that giveaway

It all depends on how much you invest into it. You can either earn some good dividends, but if you invest the very minimum, then you are very likely to see some good profit/ROI. So far, they have been paying me the dividends, and I've earn even more profit along the way because of the price increase.  Smiley
11906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: November 05, 2015, 12:13:11 PM
I think i'll buy some ETH before devcon I just can't decide when to enter. I missed the 137k low I don't think it will drop that low anymore.

Even still, I think that ETH price is dirt cheap right now. I guess it would probably rise when there would be a stable GUI wallet release, or after the devcon. It is an exciting world out there for ETH. I think soon it will show us its true potential.  Grin
11907  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2015, 12:10:15 PM
What do you guys think the price will be at the end of 2015, lets settle on that before we talk about 2016.  I hope more and more people use Bitcoin every day I just don't think it will become mainstream until at least 2025 if it survives that long.

The price at the end of 2015, will probably be between the $500 - $600 mark. I'm guessing that the closer we are to the next halving, the more the price will rise. But that is just my theory. I could be wrong.  Roll Eyes
11908  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I am out of the mining game :( on: November 04, 2015, 07:14:22 PM
I once was a miner, and had a few Gridseeds laying around to mine alt coins and then exchange them to BTC. Unfortunately, I've quitted too because mining cost was too expensive. The electricity rates and having to compete with different miners/hashrate makes it somewhat unprofitable. Difficulty would rise as well, making your current mining gear obsolete. Still, I'm thinking of returning to it someday (probably between Christmas or summer)   Smiley
11909  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io BTCLend LNC. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: November 04, 2015, 06:09:04 PM
Is it really possible this guy s still not in jail? I really have my doubts about the US legal system. If Homerto the criminal can run and stay out of prison, everything s possible.

I think Garza's smart and bribed the authorities by paying them his scamcoin, err I mean Paycoin. I don't think XPY would ever reach the $20 mark. It will die very soon. Lol  Grin
11910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: November 04, 2015, 06:00:27 PM
Nowadays, I think it is much easier to make $1 in Bitcoins in an hour or less. You can either join a signature campaign and make good constructive posts, or you can start trading, or use a faucet and refer other people so that your earnings could increase.  Smiley
11911  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: November 04, 2015, 05:58:47 PM
Bitcoin is rising in power and demand. Price has been going upward over the last month. This is a very good sign and might be a future successor of fiat currency. I think it would definitely replace the dollar real soon.  Smiley
11912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why you mostly like bitcoin compare to other digital currency? on: November 04, 2015, 05:56:34 PM
Bitcoin is the most expensive crypto out there. It is also the father of blockchain technology. I compare Bitcoin as the Gold of crypto. That is why I like it and why I would never leave it. I think Bitcoin will always be the most valuable crypto coin out there. Just my opinion.  Smiley
11913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: November 04, 2015, 05:53:54 PM
There might not be a strategy, but there sure is a lot of fun gambling games you can play and have fun. Just invest a small amount of coins just to be safe. My favorites are Dice, Lottery, and Bingo.  Cheesy
The point here is why you want to waste money on it ? You could have all the fun you want if you make wise use of your money to do something else like trading or loan based trading. You know it wont be fun if you lose all your hard earned funds for the sake of some cheap entertainment.

I want to spend money, because I have the feeling that maybe someday I would hit the jackpot (if I win). So you can have fun and earn at the same time, or you can lose profit and still have fun because the amount invested was very minimum.  Grin
11914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: November 04, 2015, 05:51:57 PM
Is Expanse still alive. It has been 5 days since the last reply in this thread, and nothing new. Bitcoin's price is rising up fast, and so as most alt coins, but Expanse is still around the same price or probably even cheaper. Are my hopes lost?  Huh
11915  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: November 04, 2015, 05:48:15 PM
As I see Bitcoin's movement towards price and adoption, I think 2016 will definitely be the year of Bitcoin. Maybe its price will go up above the $1000 mark. So I'm very optimistic and going to hold my BTC until it is the right time.  Cheesy
11916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are BanxShares as good as GAW Paycoin? on: November 04, 2015, 05:44:33 PM
Any reason why Banxshares price has been increasing over the last few days? Is this because Bitcoin's price is increasing as well or is it that Banx could set up it own prices? Anyways, thanks to this Í have earned some profit.  Grin

Really? You have earned profit? How do you calculate profit? Is it the number you are looking at on the screen or is it the amount you have cashed out with? Can you sell these "shares"?

I have not tried selling them yet. I'm only based on calculations based from the first day I have bought them (which they were at $1.78 each) until today's price. If I cannot sell them, what should I do?  Huh

These are positive days for the crypto currency world. As Bitcoin's price goes up, we can expect positive things for Ambercoin and the rest of the alt coins. I want to become a shareholder as soon as I get 10000 AMBER. This is great.  Smiley
11919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: November 04, 2015, 12:52:42 PM
I think the most important thing is to simplify the process of converting from fiat to bitcoin for mass adoption. Once it becomes very easy for a common clueless user to obtain bitcoin, then it's definitely going to stay

Exactly. There are still some countries out there where you cannot buy Bitcoins with fiat. Take a look at Coinbase. The ability to buy Bitcoins with fiat, it is limited to certain countries. Also, Bitcoin debit cards are not available to any country. Sometimes I wish I could have a BTC debit card. It would make my life much easier.  Sad
