1201  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any solution for a hacked wallet? on: August 11, 2023, 10:32:10 AM
I applied for an airdrop where I connected my wallet a few days later I noticed that my wallet has been hacked and some of my money are gone. I tried sending gas to the wallet to move some tokens to a saved wallet, but if I send gas to the wallet the gas is been moved automatically by a bot. I do not know what to do to recover some of my tokens from the wallet.
Probably a sweeper bot and thats a bad scenario. Ive been hearing some solution to this on social but not sure if its effective. Since sweeper bots are design to loot your eth right after sending. The best solution is to protect your wallet at all cost since you dont want to refeived a potential airdrop and knowing that the one will get it are hackers. As much as possible always take caution on those connected dapp or site cause they might be a chance that these are harmful to our wallets.
1202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto investment analysis: Crypto market capital will reach $3 trillion by 2025 on: August 10, 2023, 11:31:53 PM
That depends on bitcoin price. If after the halving and the effect of it on bitcoin is good then an inevitable bull run might be experience. Some of my friends and known influencers believe that the next bull run will be massive than last time and could be the biggest in history. But there are also speculations that it could be the last since many innovative tech will surely rise and even beat the effectivity of blockchain.
1203  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As an undergraduate, is it advisable to invest my trustfund in Bitcoin? on: August 10, 2023, 12:34:44 PM
Thats a high risk gamble in my opinion. Yes bitcoin is good but you are talking about your trustfund. Anything could goes wrong on the market and thats not gonna be reverted once a bad situation occured.

Why not invest part of yout trustfund but not all. Going all in is a bit extreme especially you are just a student yet. You dont have any source of income and what if you needed it for emergency purposes and somehow thr bitcoin price is below your entry. Means you are still at a loss would you able to bear that withdrawing at a loss just for an emergency.
1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine the Total Supply of an unlisted Token? on: August 10, 2023, 11:39:06 AM
These are all paid articles with money raised from previous scams. You can publish any article you wont on sites like WSJ, cointelegrph, yahoo finance, marketwatch, bloomberg etc for less than 2000$. 1 article and people.
1 article of this type costs $ 2,000 and the legend about it circulates for years.
Maybe some stories there arent real ofcourse I know marketing strategy like that. But gotta tell you that I myself doing some of these degen trading and not only me but bunch of my collegueas and friends. They did earned huge winning. This is my actual friend so get loss with those babbling articles cause even me myself so those in my own wallet and theres. Of course not exaggerated not in the articles. Just because its really happening doesnt mean its just stories and paid whatnot. Also Im also familiar with the on chain transaction and I believe those whom I see myself including the entry price on chain and the sold price in the blockchain not in paragraphs on coindesk or whatever.

it's a free world and cexies are listing these coins because people want to trade them. It's not my job to write to the cex to give up profits at the expense of competitors (who will take those profits). My task is to inform people that playing with meme coins brings profits inadequate to the risks and harms the entire industry. So that they wouldn't want to touch that cesspool. Cexy will quickly delist projects that do not bring the expected volumes.
Yeah spreading some scam memecoins that are indeed proven is worth to report too. But for those normal ones maybe its just inappropriate to say dogecoin, shiba inu, or other progress are scam just because you read one. In fact if they are scam then these big cex wouldnt listed that. Can I ask if you trade other than bitcoin? Cause its sounded like youve been scammed by altcoins many times over.

Yeah you said yourself. That its a free world and I am entitled to those right to tell you that not all memecoin are scams. Maybe few but dont considered all just because you hate it.
1205  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Using the Search button before asking questions on: August 10, 2023, 10:30:44 AM
During the short time that I have spent here in the forum, I come to understand that most post here are driven by signature campaign, thus people asking for questions which can easily be answered trough a google search. People don't even need to use the forum search as most answers are already more clear and precise if you use google. Also, there is AI nowadays. People can use that to ask further explanations about their inquiry.

There are only a few questions and discussions here that are actually genuine.
Newbies are always asking on the BH section and obviously you will see same questions all over again and same responses with different users and got a good answers. Typically common one. But thats what it is here on forum since we are living with the discussion and signature campaigns are definitely attached to it.

Ive been here a long time and also observed things. Seen some members that arent for the signature and some also does literally do only for signature. Using search function is much easier but since newbies are prone to posting they could easily ask these questions anyway until they figured out the effectivity of that button. Its fine though since even when Im newbie I only used frequently that when I am already at higher rank.
1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine the Total Supply of an unlisted Token? on: August 10, 2023, 08:53:33 AM
seriously? are you trying to undermine the fact that meme coins are evil incarnate that harms the entire industry by bringing here dogecoin and elon, who wrote a few tweets about it for a joke/price manipulation? Did you know that elon also wrote about cumrocket? did you know that elon has had many lawsuits from the SEC related to market manipulation.
Well as if you pointing out that you are 100% correct with all what you say though? Dogecoin is the founder of memecoin. Obviously when we say it meme its practically a joke isnt it. Whether its dogecoin or any anime based meme, we all knew its total utilization is like for fun but since its being trade on the market like other altcoins and even bitcoin. Then if you really that dissaprove of memecoin, maybe put up a word with sites like coingecko, coinmarketcap to avoid sharing and spreading details about these memecoins and others since these are harmful does it mean they supported evil incarnate projects?

I know this type of guy. This is a person who, playing roulette, also thinks that he knows what he is doing because he won 3 times in a row. Unfortunately, he loses everything in the next 2 throws. and why do I care about demonizing meme coins even though it's not my money that is being lost? because it's money that ends up in the hands of scammers and is used to make bigger scams. And everyone suffers from this, except for manufacturers of yachts and luxury watches.
Yes maybe something like that of guy. But how about retailers who just bet their money on meme, or those who simply got lucky and gain profits? I guess you shouldnt include them or yet generalize all do meme are developers who jump ship to ship for profits and do rugpulls. Theres a difference, since some degens are just doing gambling with these memecoins or shitcoins to earn money too not too scam anyone and some arent even developers so how can you justify only yacht manufacturers only getting fruits from it. I dont know find some stories on social media like a simple guy who trade memes and won huge profits.

If trading memecoins is a sin for us then let all cex and dex delisted those projects cause they are harmful to the market industry right. Only trade bitcoin cause its the only legit one. What odds that this will happen in the future?
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that you will be hold till next Bull Run on: August 09, 2023, 03:50:31 PM
For me ethereum, bitcoin, avalanche, injective, cosmos, arbitrum, optimism and upcoming zksync, layerzero and linea. I think these will give some of the best result though some of them have made some good move last bull run. Surely with pack development and news about each of any they will definitely go again another smooth run or yet surpass their previous records.
1208  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Promoting P2P transactions through Bitcoin Community on: August 09, 2023, 01:57:55 PM
Im not sure if you can keep it up with that. Hardly only few people willing to deal with you here especially if you are gonna trade qith other people an altcoins or coins that you wanted to exchange. Why make it hard for yourself and simply do a p2p with guaranteed transaction on Binance P2P. Im pretty sure your currency are supported too on that since they are covering a lot of currency in their peer to peer marketplace. Plus you dont gonna be scared of ptoential issue like the trust you mentioned cause there is a system.
1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine the Total Supply of an unlisted Token? on: August 09, 2023, 12:05:18 PM
meme coins don't produce anything, they don't solve anyone's problems don't develop the industry. Give one example that proves otherwise.
How about dogecoin? This is a memecoin and if youll say that this is worthless at all then why its on the top marketcap and why the smart Elon Musk taking this project as good and even used it for payment on a brand called Tesla? Thats a fact too. If its a scam then not everybody will agree with you.

therefore, in accordance with my conscience, I advise against meme coins whenever I can. You can write that "some people make money on it", but in my opinion its wrong. At the casino, some people also make money, moments before they lose everything. Only the casino is honest about its house edge. Memecoin scammers don't.
Gambling on casino and memecoins involved both money and risk. The only difference is the "DEGEN" or people who knew of this risk are aware of it they just gambling on a literally high risk environment. Would you called them stupid for doing so if they knew what they are doing? Maybe they will replied to you get loss, its not your money cause we know what we are dealign with. The problem here are those newbies who joined that is not aware of the consequence. I respect that you dont want to let those who loss suffer more. Me too but Im telling you, if this can be stop this has been stopped years ago. But what can we do we live in a decentralized space where scammers are included in adopting blockchain and crypto.

How can we filter those scammers on decentralized space? Just total avoidance right but it cant be stopped. So doing centralized like cex who asked for might limit it but again there are some who dont like it cause its not right on decentralization. Whatever sides there still be none winner in terms of cause and effect.
1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine the Total Supply of an unlisted Token? on: August 09, 2023, 11:00:06 AM
Wrong. The best memecoin trading strategy is to not trade memecoins at all and stay away from anyone who is shilling memecoins. there are many wonderful things you can do with money.
Then thats not a strategy you give but a total hindrance for those who want to trade memecoin. You cant really force someone not to trade especially when they are gaining some profits on memecoin. Just because some others got scammed and other rugpulls. Yes theres a lot of bad blood in the memecoins but, do you think we like to be scam? Thats what you called risky gamble on a crypto.

Im also investing on good major altcoins and even bitcoin so I knew my fair share of experiences among these shitcoins and innovative coins.

I will repeat ad nauseam under every thread about meme coins until people stop talking about them, because in my opinion, trading this garbage hurts the entire industry by sucking capital from innovative technologies and ridiculing people investing here.
Its your right anyway and opinion. But surely there will some who will disagree with you too and has their own opinion.
1211  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Imagine life if there was know bitcointalk like this forum on: August 08, 2023, 06:33:18 PM
If there is no forum like this at a current time I think people will still be the same and probably get their knowledge on the web and socials. Well being here is like a gift of knowledge and small opportunity to gain money but we should remember that this place isnt really for money talks but discussion itself. So whether we get something from herr or not we should act as if its just like a normal forum which prioritize discussion over bitcoin.
1212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine the Total Supply of an unlisted Token? on: August 08, 2023, 08:14:28 AM
maybe in a perfect world it would work like that. In the real world, any number you look at in the context of "very trendy socials" can be bought for dollars, making the success of the project dependent only on the capital that the scammer has and the experience in creating a scam (AKA how many scams he did before, and experience they make quickly, because some of them can create several scam projects a day).
I get your point mate. Thats how its work actually and these people are keep doing it for the last few years. Well what can we do they are the one pulling off some nasty ideas and people get to like it since its trending. The only chance you could do is spot them early and get out on a perfect timing to have some profit. Ofcourse these people will not pull the trigger right away at least not on the time you expect it so always take profits. Anyway, not all succeed and some have caught before it explode.

Perfect example of this is a memecoin on base network called bald.
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PYUSD a.k.a Paypal USD on: August 07, 2023, 10:43:33 PM
Not sure though since Paypal has some bad feedback but since some of ym friends ar eworking and got paid in paypal they said that this wipl be beneficial to them as they can use directly for crypto trading and other platforms but actually prefer the hassle free of some like Binance and other platform that can cater my needs too.
1214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Passive income with crypto on: August 07, 2023, 04:16:15 PM
-Mining
-Staking
-Commission referral

Something worth as passive in crypto is totally impossible. There are other factors on every aspect even doing a simple staking like the value dropped over long period of time. But this is a passive way to increase your holding since you get something. Mining bitcoin is really profitable and works as passive if your expenses wouldnt be expensive.
1215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really not for everyone? on: August 07, 2023, 02:25:37 PM
I dont know who said that bitcoin isnt for everyone but considering its decentralized nature, it can be for everyone. Yes it is being purchased with real money but it doesnt mean you cant buy one at a small fraction isnt it? Its not like a premium item like louie vuitton whose not really for everyone since its an expensive product. A tech like bitcoin should be spread and dessiminate for everyone.
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to determine the Total Supply of an unlisted Token? on: August 07, 2023, 01:28:28 PM
And thinking that you will catch a good meme early is inherently wrong, because their success depends on the ability of the market operator, marketing and capital behind the project, and you can't guess that based on the name.
This is a rare chance unless you are a good spotter for developers with a lot of connection in marketing and very trendy socials like twitter. I think some do this by following their season influencer or particular wallets. Its kinda hard to sort out a very goof project on meme in dozens of choices and checking each is really time consuming.
1217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest Some Underrated potential altcoins for next bull run on: August 07, 2023, 11:57:01 AM
Now i just want to know some underated altcoins names that have potentiality to perform good like 5x to 6x in next bull run. Have you invested such altcoins or do you know such altcoins? You can suggest me, I'll analysis about those
There are plenty of choices out there. But its better to spreas your basket to many altcoins in order to gain more chances of winning on the next bull run. Of course we dont know if the previous ATH of the projects that fly will be the same or exceeded their last all time high and even if they could go back but its much better to add more new platforms that has potential and could be a game changer in the blockchain world like arbitrum, optimism, evmos, injective, arkham, and many more.
1218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Base Launched! How to make profits on Base? on: August 07, 2023, 10:43:57 AM
In terms of volume I think base has incredible movement and tvl compared to linea. But the thing some dapps there arent trusted and Im not sure yet where to do my next activity on this network like focus on liquidity farming or do some memecoin hunting. With what the bald did seems traumatic for some degen but surely there will be good projects that will come out there. Also there is a stargate bridge now to base which is quite a good news.
1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A advise to my friend about his decision on: August 06, 2023, 09:32:26 AM
When my friend came to my house to tell me the story, I encouraged him to collect the coins and learn more about bitcoins, and he was furious to listen to me until I started the show and started explaining it to him. At that point, he was happy and walked back.
Probablt when he learned how many coins his father gave and you tell him how much did it worth thats why he change his mind. People nowadays ignore something they dont understand but when see its worth their eyes glow. Also you didnt mention any amount in this story?

Your account was newbie means you just created an account here? Or you already have knowledge about bitcoin even without knowing this forum exist?
1220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need a privacy coin that can only hide transaction amounts ? on: August 06, 2023, 09:02:12 AM
Im not sure about that. Im not a fan though since privacy in blockchain seems to break the idea of transparency but since its contradict the anonymous concept still be a huge importance to other people. Like the use of mixers which users prefer to use to hide their identity or erase tracks which is important for safety. Apparently we can all agree to that since people have different preferences.
