1201  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you feel when....... on: March 24, 2023, 12:40:21 AM
How do you feel when ever a project or utility you don't like does very well in a bull market? I know that many people don't like meme coins when they were new in past years, how do you feel seeing your friends you call stupid for investing in shiba does very well than all your so called high-quality projects?
Well, during bull season it is already expected that many cryptos will pump including these meme coins. However, not all can skyrocket especially the shitcoins. So there's a reason why I chose to invest in established coins rather than these meme coins.

If this friend made huge gains for investing in shitcoins then good for him, I might feel disappointed but it doesn't mean I regret not investing in these coins, since in the first place we don't know what lies ahead and it's a risky thing to invest in a project without utility and just relying on hype.
1202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects come out when bull market begin. on: March 23, 2023, 08:16:51 AM
Hello i just want to ask if i you guys also notice when the bitcoin rise there are also a lot of new projects come out and if bitcoin fall there are only few projects build, is it because some projects developer notice that most of the successful projects are build in bull market and most of the projects build on bear market are failed? Or they don't care about bull and bear market and they build thier project because the time is already been set?
Because during bullrun many investors are active to invest and join the ride of increasing price. Often, newbies who don't have idea of what they're getting into are the ones falling to invest in new projects thinking it's a wise decision, not knowing the risk.

But a good project doesn't mind to come out regardless of the market situation because they can survive if their project is solid and has a real use case. It's just that, during bearish season it is quite risky to launch a project since the market is struggling and many investors are afraid to invest.
1203  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SIM Registration: Anong Dapat Ipag-alala? on: March 23, 2023, 07:26:36 AM

1204  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: March 23, 2023, 02:53:07 AM
but I want to ask do you think the price of bitcoin will continue to rise until it reaches 50000 or not
The price of Bitcoin can't consistently rise (unless we are in bullish market already) because of the traders/investors taking profit and some negative news making the price to move downward. Though, it's not impossible to reach $50k price or even higher than the previous ATH,. However it might take time and it's possible to happen after the next halving.

and if I sell my bitcoin now I'm afraid the price of bitcoin will fly even higher... I want to hear your opinion...?
Are you going to rely your decision based on our opinions?
If we know what could be the next movement of Bitcoin then we're probably rich by now. You can sell if you're already happy with the profit since you can buy again if the price plunged. But if you want to be a long term hodler, you'll ignore the current price since you have a target value. So have your own analysis to understand better how Bitcoin price move in the past years.
1205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the Strangest Bet You Have Ever Had? on: March 22, 2023, 07:43:26 AM
Here in our country, this still happens to this date. If you've heard or been aware of the spider fight? That's what of the strangest bet I guess that someone from other countries will hear from us.
Strange for other countries but for us it's already common. Because of that I remember my childhood days with my friends. One night, we escaped from home to find and capture a spiders because we want to have our own spider to fight for each other.

It's so fun and satisfying to bet in your own spider then will win. That's certainly an unforgettable experience of my childhood. Anyway aside from this, the strangest bet I had is when I bet to my neighbors who's going to arrive first at our school during our primary days, but instead of money we bet a food.
1206  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: March 22, 2023, 03:35:35 AM
Yeah, a commoner like me would be feeling embarassed even if I'm not known online. It just so freaking depressing if I'm the one who has lost that amount because $1.4M is such a huge amount that's gonna make my life good for a long time or maybe a life time.
But I guess I'm still a dollar or a quarter richer than of those gamblers that have lost a lot and living with their paycheck to paycheck lives and has got a lot of debts and are now in the trap and don't know what to do. This is still a way better type of living rather than thinking of those mishaps that have been found and generated by their gambling addictions.
I can't imagine myself betting away such an amount I'm one bet, in fact, if I have that amount of money I will retire because, in my part of the world, 1.4 million dollars is quite a big amount.

-Ops may not feel it that way, since he seems to be a big bag holder and money is not the problem for him but I am sure this situation will affect his physical and mental health for some time before gets get over it.
I'd also do the same thing as what you're thinking with that money. A commoner like me that has $1M will make sure that he's set for life and that's gonna be for sure that I won't be feeling bad if ever I fail with other things as long as I've got that stash of money ready to be deployed in things for my retirement. Anyway, there are gamblers that are rich that we can't really imagine that they're already set and can lose a lot of money that we can never imagine and that's totally okay for them because they've got a lot of spare money to spend.
Rich people can afford to gamble millions yet they're still well-off even after losing such amount. But for an average gambler it's a huge money already that can change our lives for good. Just like you, if I have 1.4 million, I can already live comfortably for a lifetime since money is not a problem anymore.

However for these whales, it's just part of their leisure money to entertain themselves. It's hard to believe but that's the reality.
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Downfall still possible? on: March 22, 2023, 01:19:50 AM
I would advise you stay away from not reputable coin at this dying time, instead you can buy Bitcoin or Ethereum including BNB and hold to be more secure than that which you mentioned.
Yes I think it is very risky to invest in all but a few coins in Cryptocurrencies in this dying period. There are many coins right now that are in a very bad position, having lost 90% to 95% of their price. If all these coil markets increase, there will be recovery. However, if you want to invest, I think it is best to employ all these bitcoin ethereum bnb. It is being said with certainty that the price has come down a lot during this crisis and there will be a recovery.
lots of altcoins that have great potential and prices dropped to -85% for me this is a moment opportunity but not sloppy. if the altcoins are still viable without any issues and have superpowers for the future I wouldn't worry, there will surely be a significant price return soon. for more minimal risk and good for sure, buy bitcoin, ethereum, BNB
Indeed. We just need to wait for it because it's not going to happen instantly. I suggest to diversify your portfolio to Bitcoin and established altcoins, then you can choose new projects which you think has potential to give you huge gains. Extensive research is needed for this to avoid investing in shit projects.

Currently the movement of Bitcoin is still good followed by alts. So we might not over yet to a Bearish season but somehow the market is showing improvement. Hence, have a long patience because that is needed to be able to wait for the time to take profit.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much these features weigh most when you choose your favorite casino? on: March 21, 2023, 08:37:16 AM
Features:
Good looking, intuitive and fast user interface - 5
Good help desk - 8
Strong community/ Reputation - 9
Instant deposits & payments - 10
No Kyc - 6
Nr of payment methods - 7

I only chose 6 of the features op mentioned as I think the most important. For me instant deposit and payments are on top because that's how you'll see how legit the platform especially when winning a huge amount. Then strong community/reputation, because it's a must that it has a good reputation so you'll be at ease that it is not a scam. Next is the support, no one likes poor support who can't address the issue fast especially if it takes too long to reply. Payment methods, it's more convenient if there are many options available so we can choose the most convenient for us and cheaper. No kyc, Well nowadays it's common hence I already prepared myself incase the day comes that I have to abide in order to continue playing on my preferred casino. Lastly fast user interface, I'm often using mobile when I gamble due to my work so it's a plus point for me if the casino has a good and fast interface.
1209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people promote gambling sites . on: March 21, 2023, 03:45:50 AM
These influencers are not promoting the gambling sites for nothing. They're paid to do it and it's the marketing strategy of these casino operators to attract many gamblers to play on their site. Because it's business, like other products promoted by popular influencers, gambling is not different. The purpose of this promotion is to spread awareness and be known to people.

When it comes to the effect of gambling in people's lives, well we know it should not be done without self-control because it can really lead to gambling problems or worst, addiction. However this is already depends on the gambler's discretion on how they want gambling influenced them because it can be positive/negative depending on how he/she is playing. It's simple, for newbies that are new to gambling, don't easily believe the promotions without getting a deeper information on how it works. There's no easy money and gambling is risky. If you don't control yourself because of your desire to win or reach the specific requirements to become eligible for the bonus, then it's already your problem for not playing in moderation and for not refraining yourself to not spend the amount that you can't afford to lose.
1210  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: March 21, 2023, 02:47:31 AM
Quote

Is renting an inevitable waste of money?

Renting is never a waste of money; it is a survival trait and an important factor of life for every individual in every aspect of the entire world. There are several purposes to renting.

  • Home rents for a personal abode and roof to sleep every day
  • Business purposes e.g studio, hall, mart etc and more

And both purposes are pivotal and unavoidable if you are a business owner or an individual because irrespective of class, you need a roof above your head. Meanwhile there is a scenario where renting becomes a waste of money; and this is when you rent a home above your means of livelihood.

For example, if you are renting, your job must be able to pay your rents comfortably every month without you struggling. If you struggle to pay rents; then you are wasting money and not renting.
When you don't decide timely that this will be a big drain on your saving. Then this will be surly waste of money
Once my finance teacher said - never purchase a house - live your life on the rental. But I didn't like his suggestion and I would like to have my own space be it small or big. But its a treat being a house owner.

The point of your teacher is that if you purchase a house, invest it in business or build one, and if your business is successful, you can use the profit from it to buy a house. Though others have no preference on buying a house as they cannot afford it, that is why they stay renting even if they know that it is really draining their money. They don't have a choice, so unless someone will give them a house they can live in, that would be good for them.
I agree. If you need to choose between buying a house and starting your own business, I will choose the latter first because it's a way of having a passive income. It's not wise to buy house then you don't have source of income or the location is far from where jobs are indemand.

Anyway, renting will only be a waste if you chose to rent even you're capable to buy your own house and won't struggle after doing so. We have our own reasoning and as long as it is valid on why you opted to rent instead of buying your own, then it's your choice.
1211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my lack of knowledge has blinded me so far on: March 20, 2023, 07:59:36 AM
If the casino is regulated by the Government, they need to comply for the KYC procedure and AML. It has a purpose and the casino is not asking their customers to abide on KYC for nothing. It's understandable that many gamblers don't like the idea of disclosing their identity because they want to keep playing anonymously. However the KYC is becoming common nowadays especially if you're using a centralized platform, expect them to ask you sooner or later.

As pointed out by many, you always have an option to play on a casino with KYC or look for other platform who don't require their players to abide on it. Because we have a choice and it depends on us on where we are comfortable to gamble without worries.
1212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Being drunk while trading what was your experience on: March 20, 2023, 05:45:13 AM
The question is, can you trade while you are already drunk?
How can you focus if you're drunk? It's not a good condition to trade. I never tried it before but I know I can't do it because I tend to fall asleep if i'm drunk already. But I think it depends on each person's alcohol tolerance because there are people who seem not drunk and can still focus well even they consumed too much.

Anyway, it's not advisable to trade when you're under influence of alcohol. Even we're not drunk, we do lose and sometimes committing mistakes so what more if you can't focus?
1213  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: March 20, 2023, 05:04:27 AM
All of the Duelbits reward doesn’t have a wagering requirements after fulfilling the requirements to get it. I claim promotion like this before and I remember that you will receive all the profit from the free spin directly to your wallet which is instantly available to withdraw.
They have already set a wagering requirement of $100 to get the free spins so yes there would be no such after requirements if you want to withdraw the money I think. But you have to risk $100 also but if you are getting 50 free spins then it's worth trying it if you are gambling so take the risk and who knows you get some good profits into your account.
Basically the requirements come beforehand and not afterwards. In most casino you may get something free and that makes it a lot harder because after you get that free thing, then they ask you to gamble with it and more often than not you are going to end up losing it back again until you are free to withdraw it.

However, here that is the reverse, you risk something to get it and maybe you will or maybe you won't but if you do end up getting it then that was the requirement, the second you get that reward means that you fulfilled all the requirements already to get that and this is how you could withdraw it as soon as it is credited to your account.
This type of promotion is even better. Because aside from the possible profit you can get after wagering the $100 requirement, you'll also receive free spins after, and the winnings are directly credited in account available for withdraw.

I also received this exclusive promotion in my email last week. I tried to join but didn't meet the $100 requirement since i'm short of funds. It already ended but hopefully there's another promotion with low wagering requirement so I can fulfill it.
1214  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] GCrypto is now available to selected users on: March 20, 2023, 12:56:55 AM

1215  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: March 19, 2023, 07:08:22 AM
I personally prefer KYC at the beginning rather than having to KYC after wanting to withdraw big wins, it will be more complicated.
I get your point but it's not usual for a gambler to be willingly open to comply for the kyc, upfront. Because many of us are hesitant and wants to remain anonymous while playing especially if you're just an average gambler. But yes to avoid issues I think this is not bad, since you're fine with it.

but i do KYC early usually at a reputable casino here and Rollbit one of the good reputable casino. so you don't hesitate to do KYC at the beginning and are more comfortable when you are going to withdraw large funds without asking for KYC again.
This is important to only choose the platform where you'll submit your personal information and documents. It should be the one you trust as reputable and already established. Less hassle since you don't have to do it again incase you really did win huge amount.
1216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Physical gambling and internet gambling which is more fun. on: March 19, 2023, 06:37:00 AM
The above gambling you're listed above is PVP games and sports, not a physical gambling where you're playing poke with a dealer, play slot machine and any other games where you're played on the physical casino.
Yes it's a PVP games and not from a physical casino.
Well, these games op mentioned brings back good memories in our childhood and it's quite different now. Because of the technology and the new generation, these games are already left behind and what's in is the online casino where you can play more conveniently.

Which is more fun depends on the gambler's preference. I like these PVP games, it's more fun however I used to gamble now on online casinos and that's what I prefer currently because i'm satisfied with the experience especially I can play anywhere (even i'm alone) as long as there's an internet connection and a gadget.
1217  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 19, 2023, 04:10:14 AM

It is true that gambling should be done only for fun, not even used as a place of livelihood, it will destroy us if we make gambling as a livelihood. I usually gamble to fill my free time when I am resting from work and getting rid of fatigue after work. And if I'm not doing it for fun then I'm going to be more stressful for it. But still even if it's just having fun, we should know the limits and not try to go beyond them.

I will tend to agree but we couldn't discount the fact that many gamblers are also looking to make money, maybe they really need it or if someone just spend some money and win and go home to his family to bring that money, it's really hard to say what's everyone intention now. So yeah, it might not be a waste because that's what gambling is, we take the risk with our money, and we wanted to win, maybe hit the jackpot or lotto and make our life easier. We've heard so many stories about this one, from rag to riches, and on the contrary, horror stories two of individual losing all their money to gambling because they can't control themselves. But it's human nature though, since the introduction of gambling, we play we want fun, but at the end of the day, it's all about betting and hoping that we can win big.
No, that is the most ridiculous way and just misguided thinking I think. Indeed, nowadays we may encounter many people like that, but that is just an impact of frustration which makes it worse for us because of our powerlessness to meet our daily needs.
But such thoughts would be better avoided. we know that when we gamble it is most likely that we will lose and if we win, the percentage is small compared to defeat.
It's not really right to think that gambling is the answer to gain huge money and possibly become rich, but many of those who tried to gamble have this desire. To entertain themselves are not their main goal because they're hoping to become lucky and instantly change their status in life from poor to rich. In my case, I only gamble to have fun because I know how risky it is and I already expect that I will lose the bet after placing so it won't be hard to accept the result just incase the outcome is not good.

Thus if you place your bet, have the guts to face the result because no one force you to do so. If you can't stand losing your money then don't gamble. Because it's a must that you can handle yourselves regardless of the result.
1218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The journey of successful business man who were professional gamblers on: March 19, 2023, 03:07:17 AM
There are some people who can dream and some others who dare to it. Many of those who can dream big but some times can't make it through traditional platforms. Today I will mention the names of some people who started their business life with the help of gambling money. Who were initially professional gamblers later became reputed businessman. Many of whom are now active philanthropists, supporting various charities. If responsible gambling can be practiced then luck can be expended. He can make himself known differently in a shortest possible of time.

There are gamblers who made it to be successful and able to changed their career from being a gambler to businessman, their stories are amazing indeed. However, we know it's not the same for majority of gamblers because these people who succeed in gambling are just lucky and it's not given to many of us.

So if you are going to gamble because of the hope that you might also become lucky and end up just like them, you're doing it wrong. Because gambling is risky and a gambler should know how to manage his/her emotion especially in dealing to losses and know how to gamble with discipline. This way, you can prevent yourself from spending the money that you can't live without since you're aware that this activity can't make you rich quick.
1219  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xbit1.com - New 1xbit.com management - We will try to solve all the problems - on: March 19, 2023, 01:20:01 AM
@op, maybe you have good intentions but a lot of us will be very skeptical as 1xbit is one of the biggest scams on this forum. What is your reasonings in behind taking this site over? Would it not be better to acquire another site that doesn’t have any legitimate accusations or just start a new site from scratch? I am teying to find the logic in kt…
Indeed. Why not start over with a new one and not stick your name in a scam site if there's a new management already? Because it would be really hard to gain the trust of the gamblers even let's say they resolved the past issues since scam is already in mind of the players who used to play on the site. This is quite suspicious.

Moreover, before, they also announced a new management take over and stated to try to resolved the existing issues but nothing happened. It's the same old 1xbit scam site.
1220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: March 19, 2023, 12:41:13 AM
It's really Jason Moloney who is available during the time WBO ordered the fight but since he backed out, Santiago received a big opportunity to fight for a world title and this would be the biggest fight of his career.
Yes this is a big fight of his career and it's not impossible for him to win, having a 3 consecutive wins last year and a much younger than Donaire, he stand a chance.

Though, it won't be easy since Donaire is an experienced boxer and already prove his worth. He might came from a loss with Inoue but it's a motivation for him to redeem himself and be a champion again. Anyway, is the date for this fight set already?
