Looking forward to see CasinoCoin grow. I'm mining and holding this one. It's very promising. Would like to see new casino/gambling sites that would accept CasinoCoin as payment method. That would be cool  Cool
12222  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io BTCLend LNC. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: September 24, 2015, 12:57:43 PM
A better alternative to PayScam or Shitcoin would be Peercoin. It has a great community and better development than Paycoin. You can see that Paycoin is already dead because of 2 factors: very low price and poor development. I think I will move all my XPY to Peercoin just to be safe. It's for the sake of my profits  Grin
12223  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The 21 Bitcoin Computer on: September 23, 2015, 06:47:53 PM
I like the idea of the Bitcoin Computer (looks awesome) but the only thing is that it is too expensive. With less than $400, I can set up a RPI and a decent miner. It's still good though, as it's a way to encourage other people to get interested on Bitcoin  Smiley
12224  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: September 23, 2015, 06:28:37 PM
I would considering buying 1 Bitcoin if prices goes down to at least $150 or $100. If that happens, I'll buy and hold it until the price increases back again. This looks nearly impossible, but hey I can dream can't I?  Roll Eyes
12225  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io BTCLend LNC. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: September 23, 2015, 05:26:42 PM
I will just hold a small amount of XPY to see how this goes. This is just in case the price goes up. You'll never know when it does happen, so you have to be prepared. If price goes lower, all I can say is goodbye XPY but I'll be safe because I really didn't lose good profits  Roll Eyes
12226  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: September 23, 2015, 04:59:36 PM
This might not be the best way to earn Bitcoins, but it sure is fun. That includes playing games Minecraft, Bitcoin Hopper and Bitcoin Flapper. They're hours of fun and at the same time you're earning a couple of satoshis in your spare time  Grin

I think it's not a way to earn bitcoins, but it's where you play games & get bonus Roll Eyes
I see few people who really play these games & they able to get few dollars in bitcoin in a week

It's true. You spend more time playing those games than what you actually earn in profit. So is basically, like using a faucet, the only thing is that you're having fun  Roll Eyes
12227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: September 23, 2015, 04:57:22 PM
I think it is so early to leave the bitcoin community and its technology.
Bitcoin is just in the early stage and will be developed much more in near future.
I got motivated today by a mining farm in China if anyone want to watch here is the link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=535&v=K8kua5B5K3I

Something like this I would like to set up in the future. A cloud mining service which is truly legit and transparent with the ability to mine the majority of cryptos, including Ethereum as well. If I'm ever going to do this, I'm going to need some planning and calculations (electricity, maintenance, etc) to establish such service.  Smiley

This year has been very slow for Bitcoin. Its price has been near the $220 - $240. I guess that it will take longer than expected to see an increase in price (perhaps 4 to 5 years?)  Sad  Even still, I'm staying in Bitcoin because I believe in it and have faith that it would become mainstream someday in the future.
12230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The next generation of coins on: September 23, 2015, 01:32:23 PM
Smartchain technology would be the next generation of coins. Take a look at Ethereum and Bitshares, they both provide this. IBM is making a crypto (or so) with smartchain technology. Check out Adept and see for yourself  Roll Eyes

I'm so glad I mined Casinocoins a year back when they were cheaper and there was not much interest in it. It's a good thing to see Casinocoin rise (I earned profits by price increase)  Grin
12232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: September 23, 2015, 12:48:26 PM
I might starting mining Expanse as soon as the difficulty is fixed. I'm waiting for the perfect moment to mine for profit  Cheesy
12233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: September 22, 2015, 07:26:56 PM
I would stay in Bitcoin because thanks to it, I've increase my knowledge and helped understand cryptography better as well.  Also, one thing that have always attracted me of Bitcoin, is its decentralized nature. Therefore, you gain control of your own money and not greedy banks Cheesy
12234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: September 22, 2015, 03:14:02 PM
I've got a few friends that I've recommended Bitcoin to. What they most liked about Bitcoin was it's current price. They say it's very valuable and they want to start mining as soon as possible.  Cheesy

12237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 22, 2015, 12:51:27 PM
HYPs are the most dangerous and avoidable ways to grow your bitcoin. Stay away from them.
Also, i advice you to keep posting in this forum, raise your rank. Be social in Twitter, with this, you can get into
some pretty good signature campaigns and get paid good money.

High risk with high return. That's why so many people love to invest in HYIPs.

HYPs are just a waste of time. Most of them turn on scam before you even get paid. People like to invest in such HYIPs because they're greedy thinking that they will get a good ROI before they even realized that the owner ran away with their money. When I was newbie, I invested on Bit-Invest and after not getting paid, I decided to never invest on such sites.  Smiley

Awesome news: Magi app is in development.

Yes! Finally the moment I've been waiting for. Can't wait to see this up on my tablet. I would be of great use to me.  Cheesy
12239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Expanse (EXP) - Fair Launch, No ICO, Community DAO, based on Ethereum on: September 22, 2015, 12:41:30 PM
when the new wallet out , in active?
upcoming other news from roadmap?

I'd like to know this too. A roadmap would be nice and at least an example of something that this coin can be used for in 'life' other than throwing electricity to power companies to mine 'coins' with a diff system that is broken to achieve.....what?

What's in it for the miner or trader other than dumping high buying low trying to make a profit....which lets be honest can be done with any coin.

We all know BTC can and is used in the physical world to purchase physical items / things (mainly drug and underworld related yes but still it has its value to that environment): what does expanse provide?

The main theme I see on this thread is people harping on about a DAO arguing about what it is and isn't, premine blah blah blah but not much about what this coin is to provide other than 'we have a hell of a lot of coins to provide / pay 3rd party people to help develop stuff for us' - ummmmm like what? What's in the pipeline, what is planned for next week, next month, next year?

I know crypto is crypto 90% of it is scams but there are some legit people - I'd really like to believe this is a legit one but I'm just not seeing the information needed provided, innovation, progression etc

This isn't the only coin I wonder about so don't think it's just this coin but think about it

BTC - can be used
GMC - has or is at least trying for a real purpose
Vnl - I don't know
Tips, dgb, dgc blah blah blah - is expanse & for that matter shift and eth just going to be the same old mine dump mine dump etc

How about instead of saying you can join our slack (which I know James said is stupidly expensive to upgrade due to the number of posts or people so presuming you didn't do that - smart if you didn't) you update here and give your 'customers' some confidence in this coin?

As I said (not here but in CCC, I respect James and Franko has assisted me in a personal project very friendly so I want this to work but I just don't know what this coin actually stands for so with the diff system broken and no idea of what I'm to support I'm no longer mining.

Thanks and sorry and I hope this does grow into something huge

Sure thing, no problem.

Expanse is a bit unique. Normally there is just a team and they can set some goals and people can try to trade with those in mind. With Expanse the "roadmap" really begins after the Decentralized Autonomous Organization has been formed. This isn't something that can be rushed however, as it requires finding the right candidates for the Advisory Board. This is quite different, and by having a political system controlled by smart contracts and composed of the right key people, there is a great amount of potential to set an example and start something new with the Expanse DAO.

In the short run however, custom skinned gui wallets, web wallet, website are the immediate goals. Clearly various POS and lots of different changes down the road are also being considered, but this will only be after the DAO has formed and the community has voted on it. Dan has been working on the DAO concept for a couple years, so this also isn't something just quickly put together. It will take some time to get all this done, but we are going to do this right, and build something that will last and potentially make some kind of difference.

Well said. Expanse will certainly make a difference among other alt coins. It has a solid community and good development compared to Ethereum (which they are slow) In the meantime, if Expanse releases the GUI wallet it will be one step ahead from Ethereum (which has no GUI wallet) I'll be watching Expanse as it has a bright future ahead of it.  Cheesy

How do yall feel about this gui wallet?

Looks like a very eye catching interface. This is so cool. When is it going to be released? (I mean if it's not already) This would make my life much easier than having to type in commands to send or receive expanse  Cheesy

Tomorrow or the following day most likely, I am just trying to ensure it works on all OS's and properly test everything.

That's great news. I will be anxiously waiting for its release. By the way, an Android/iOS wallet would be a great idea as well.  Roll Eyes
