1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Take good care of yourselves on: April 12, 2023, 02:50:01 PM
no one knows the type of children God will send them, we all hope for the best kids but things don't always come out as we hoped for, the end game of everyone's hustle is to have a good life.

I plan to hold my Bitcoin for the long term too but I am not so desperate about it like it's not a must for me because all I ever want is a good life, money will make your life easier, so yes Bitcoin can make anyone's life better too. We must not plan to hold Bitcoin to the grave, it won't benefit the holder.

Enjoy yourselves while you are working hard to achieve your goals, let this be your end game.
Yeah, it is important to get your children a life where they can do whatever they want. If your children want to do something but can't do it because they are forced to work, then it will not be really a smart idea to keep it going. I personally believe that I would have written books if I had the time, and I would have spent many many days learning how to write a good book.

You may want to become a cook, some other person may want to draw, some other may want to be a trader, or a wall street banker, some other may want to be a teacher, everyone has different wishes in life and if you do not worry about money at all, then you could work towards that. If I can make enough from bitcoin, I want to leave a world where my children can do whatever they want.
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think? on: April 11, 2023, 09:00:50 PM
From the historical chart and  according to recent observations, the onset of Altcoin season appears to coincide with the stabilization of Bitcoin prices. As Bitcoin's volatility decreases, traders are seemingly turning towards accumulating altcoins, indicating that we may be on the cusp of an Altcoin season.

What is your thoughts? Are you agree with the point?
I can't really know when we will, but it is very important to know the difference between entering the altcoin season and what we have in our hands. Most of the time it is not going to be an easy decision to make a profit if you end up buying something terrible, I have seen people who invested a lot of money during the bear period, when everything was low, and then hoped they would make a profit during the bull period and instead they lost all their money.

This is why I highly suggest that if you really want to make a profit, then do that with good coins and not potentially failing ones. Those ones will end up taking away all of your money and leave nothing to you, even if they do not scam, they can crash hard.
1243  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 11, 2023, 08:05:23 PM
Taking a loan is indeed one thing that must be avoided. but for some people who really have urgent needs and there is no other way, borrowing is like a solution at that time. but yeah another problem will come later. what we have to do is we have to be able to measure our personal finances.
When they are in a state of financial urgency and they don't have savings or assets that they can rely on to meet their needs, of course, the short cut is that they will try to find a loan, maybe borrowing is something that is really not a good thing to do, but at this very important moment will have to be done, especially constraints in need or urgent needs, and they are fully required to have to calculate their loan with income, so that later they will not be constrained in terms of payment.
That is true, I did that recently, had to take out a huge loan because I had to pay for something, otherwise there was no other option left. Not like all the people in the world get a loan to buy some items, or go to vacation, tha'ts not the case. I am fine though, I will pay that debt month by month and I should be fine, nothing should be a trouble for me.

However, that doesn't change the fact that I should be careful and not spend too much more. I already paid for my vacation, or at least half of it, and the other half will be paid in September. So I am looking fine, but that doesn't mean that I shouldn't have gotten the debt, it saved me from a terrible situation and thanks to that I am doing much better now.
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: April 11, 2023, 06:40:39 PM
It is going to be tough for Fenerbahce and Besiktas is pressing from behind, but Galatasaray has a pretty comfortable situation now with being 6 points ahead. I am not sure but I think I recall that they don't play against each other anymore, I mean Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. Ok I noted that one game was rescheduled but the date has not yet been set. Well the first game ended 0-3 for Galatasaray and if they end up having equal points in Turkey's league the direct comparison is what counts. I think that advantage is probably on Galatasaray's side unless something unforeseen happens. That means Galatasaray has top drop 7 points instead of 6 and Fenerbahce would have to win it all. With just 7 games to go it is not impossible since they are head to head once more, but still tough to accomplish.
If we look at Galatasaray's staff and quality, they will hardly lose points again. In the first match, they defeated Fenerbahçe with a crushing score of 3-0. To be frank, Fenerbahce will have a low chance in the league match they will face in the last weeks. For now, they should not lose points in the league. When 10 people could not beat the remaining opponent against Beşiktaş, there was a difference of 6 points at the moment. If they won the Beşiktaş match, we would talk about a difference of only 3 points with Galatasaray.
Thanks to that game there is a possibility that Fenerbahce can beat Galatasaray when they meet next and Fenerbahce could end up winning and yet still not get the title. When you build a roster that is not half bad but you have a manager that insists on playing badly and making players play out of position and force their best players to play when in fact the "best" player is bad, is the trouble.

There is likelihood of bad managers to play their favorite player even if that player is bad, and that's what Jorge Jesus is doing right now. They need to realize they have a core 11 that is amazing and just focus on making that player and stick. This season is as good as over unless something major happens.
1245  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will hit $1 million for the first time? on: April 11, 2023, 06:05:40 PM
Personally I think it'll be during the 2036/2037 bull run, assuming the four year market cycles are still going on at that point. Though the 4 year cycle may have largely faded away by then, but somewhere around those years feels about right.
You are also relying on assumptions but not a concrete reason, cycles may give a new price for bitcoin, but no one can guarantee arriving at that price. So the reason is simpler, keep buying and holding the bitcoins that we have.

No one can predict exactly when bitcoin will reach $1 million USD, but speaking of cycles there is a possibility that for the next ATH bitcoin will approach that price. But there is also no certainty whether we will see in the next cycle or in the year as you mentioned.
To be fair when you are talking about something that is this much further in the distance, you just have to speculate about it and can't do much else. Maybe it will happen next year suddenly because of something, or maybe it will happen in 10 years, who knows? This is why everyone keeps making assumptions and made up predictions based on what they think will happen but obviously that doesn't mean that it will happen exactly at that moment, it could happen some other time as well.

I personally hope that the best thing in this situation would be waiting for it, because if we all believe that it will happen, that means it will happen and when it happens could be irrelevant considering all we have to do is hold it and not sell.
1246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 11, 2023, 03:03:09 AM
Its not about Messi decision want to stay few more season with PSG or not but depending how personal agreement reach both side have complicated offering. Lionel Messi want to get the same salary received by Mbappe and PSG seems not agree for accepting Messi offering, Messi have bring positive impact for PSG this season although still failed in Champion League but his consistency performance helped PSG keep dominance in Ligue 1 standing awhile. Two months left Messi's contract with PSG and not still reach agreement yet until right now he will extended or not, maybe Messi can try Primer League competition for one or two season later before playing with Saudi Pro League or move to MLS competition.
I mean it is just a bit about if he wants to stay or not as well, it can't be just one sided thing. This is a deal between PSG and Messi, if PSG wants him and Messi wants to leave, he will leave, if Messi wants to stay but PSG doesn't want to pay him anymore, he will leave, if both sides do not want to work together anymore then he will leave.

Only thing that makes him stay is that Messi wanting to stay, and want a certain amount paid to him, and PSG wants him to stay and willing to pay that much to him. That is the only case we can get to see him continue. Considering there is an unreal amount offered from Saudi Arabia to him as well, I am guessing that it should not really be easy to keep him at PSG  and he may leave.
1247  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S. Treasury under pressure of DeFi market threat! on: April 09, 2023, 09:09:32 PM
Here, if you read this news then it's coming as a shock that US security is at stake after careful reviewing of how the DeFi market is home to illicit spammers, money launderers, and much more! This side of crypto is helping them move the funds around the world without any hesitation and thus keeping all the regulators under pressure.

Recently, a US treasurer made an official statement that US security is not good in terms of financial management considering the large volume of money is getting diverted through the DeFi line which is for illegal stuff.

We have awakened the regulator's dragon, and I don't know but this could place crypto at risk.
They can try to do whatever they want to do, and maybe they can handle all the people in the business as well, but they can't do anything to the market because that's where the decentralized part comes from. People think that it will go on without a trouble but if you jail the team of pancakeswap, or uniswap or whatever, which I am sure they are located in a place safe, but could still happen, then we have to realize that its not going to be that easy.

I need to make sure that we can do much better and that is why I use decentralized markets that have no owners or anything and just purely managed and run by the people in it. Those can't be touched because there is nobody to touch them, best they could hope is ban the domain.
1248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Under capitalism eventually 1% own 99% of BTC, 1% have 99% of power? on: April 09, 2023, 08:30:30 PM
I think I understand that the BTC blockchain can't be corrupted, because it would be too difficult to do.  But can't the 99% be exploited the 1% that own 99% of BTC?  BTC is a transfer of wealth to a different system.  Won't the 1% be able to exploit the 99%?  Capitalism centralizes wealth
The difference is that there is no more btc printed over 21 million, whereas there are more fiat printed everyday. The logic of OP is that the rich always gets more money, and when they get more money they can spend it on getting more BTC and that means they can buy all the btc available on sale and they can own most of it.

But the truth is that we have only 21 million, even leaving aside all the burned and gone bitcoins, the rich can't buy them all because we just wouldn't sell it to them. Right now, they can get more because more money is printed and even if you do not give your dollars to them, they can print more and make yours less valuable and own more, but with bitcoin they have to buy yours, and if you don't sell, they can't.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 08, 2023, 07:23:52 PM
Casemiro is a key player for Manchester United and I think the reason for Manchester United lost the game against Newcastle was Casemiro, however, they should learn to have a player to replace any player they lose and Casemiro is one of them. But according to what we saw from Sevilla in the recent matches they had I don't think if the absence of Casemiro will change anything.
You can't replace any player you have at all times, sometimes the player is so good that nobody could be as good to replace them. For example Mbappe is at PSG, if he is injured, can you really replace him? Of course not and they are having that trouble with Neymar all the time.

Casemiro is so good at what he does that when he is out, there isn't a player that can replace him, and any player that has the quality to make sure you don't feel when Casemiro is gone, will not accept being his bench, because his replacement that is worthy, would also be worthy to start in another club anyway. What can they do, get Rice and put him on bench? Of course not, so you just have to accept when he is gone, they are a bit worse.
1250  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: April 07, 2023, 07:48:39 PM
Stake just sent out the Easter pre monthly bonus email.

Go on and claim it under: https://playstake.io/bonus?code=EasterPreMonthly7najdg2

Maybe people in the stake forum were already complaining for whatever reason that there wasn't a bonus for a while, I guess today they will be happy.

Curious if the monthly will drop next week on the 13th or 14th or if they will let us wait until the week after Easter, seem a little bit likely now because of the bonus today.
I think maybe that could get combined? I mean easter and all but that's like a monthly bonus as well. I think the moaning and whining is all about the fact that they want to get it and gamble with it quickly, you gotta realize that when you give people something for a while, even for free, if you stop giving that, suddenly they think you owe them.

Normally that was free and you owe them nothing at all, that's not your responsibility to keep on giving it out, but since you did it for long enough, they start to think that that's something they are owed to and deserved to get it. I personally believe that monthly bonus became a bit too out of hand right now because of this.
1251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 07, 2023, 06:34:15 PM
Lens team should be able to win today against strasburg but i don't think it will be easy since relegation opponents are allways tricky to face, strasbourg team is barely out of relegation zone and they can't afford to lose points at this stage still lens are too much for them to handle and if lens team wins it will put a huge pressure on psg.
There shouldn't be much pressure on Lens because overall they are better than Strasbourg who they will be playing today. But that does not mean they can underestimate Strasbourg just like that. This will also be their home game and that will surely motivate them even more to dedicate a win to their supporters in the stadium. I think they will be able to win, even if not by many goals.
Lens being on form doesn't really matter, they are just way too much better than Strassbourgh to begin with. I mean Lens is second in the league, and surely they have 3 in a row wins but even without that, they were third in the league, they are just way too good, whereas Strassbourgh is a team that is fighting not to relegate, 16th in the league right now and that should tell you how much the difference is.

It is not going to be easy to win or anything like that, but it is looking as good as it gets for them. Lens will have an easy win, and it's one of the easiest bets that I ever had. It's football and maybe a shocking unexpected thing happens but I doubt that it would, this should be a pretty straightforward game.
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 07, 2023, 05:45:10 PM
After the win that Real had in the cup against Barcelona which no one expected them to totally destroy Barcelona at their home with a tennis result 0-4 and seeing Chelsea last results in the Premier League I think it is clear for everyone of us to see that Chelsea most likely stands absolutely no chance against Real Madrid in these upcoming Champions League encounter.

Even if they sign a great coach,he simply will not have time to change things and Chelsea owners should not be expecting miracles in the Champions League and also in the Premier League from Chelsea during this season.
Football doesn't work like that at all. Liverpool managed to beat United 7-0 just recently, then lost to Bournemouth, Real Madrid, and Manchester city with a tie against Chelsea. That doesn't mean that Real Madrid is bad and will lose, of course they can win and I am pretty sure that they will win.

I am not supporting Chelsea by saying they will win or anything like that. All I am trying to say is that just because Real Madrid managed to beat Barcelona, doesn't mean that they will also be able to beat Chelsea, that is not how football works. They will beat Chelsea because they are going to play better than them and that is going to be the key here and that is how they will get to next stage by playing better than the other team.
1253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will pump soon? Lower interest rates in june. on: April 06, 2023, 06:41:40 PM
Although bitcoin has had an impressive 50% recovery since the bottom, in the end, we all still don't know what will happen in the future. What we can do is stay calm and hold on no matter what happens.

I do not spread Fuds, but I am not as optimistic about the market as many are expecting. I believe this year, there will still be some tremors that make people panic again. Players have become smarter, the market will not be able to move so predictably. If the market continues to recover from now on and there is no correction, then we will have millions more millionaires created in the next bull season.
I think "bitcoin recovering 50% from the bottom" is actually what we know about the future. I mean I get that it is not a guarantee or anything like that, I get that you are not entirely sure, but isn't that increase tells you anything? I personally believe that if you end up buying bitcoin at this current stage, and then wait for it for a year or two, then you are going to profit from this.

To me, this is a fact, not something that may happen, not something that is potentially good, it is something that is a fact to me that if you buy now and hold for 2 years you will profit. This is why I do not agree that we do not know what the future will be like, I sort of know already and buying because of that.
1254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price guess for March on: April 06, 2023, 06:11:46 PM
OP: Given March is now over - ending in +23% for reference sake - it'd probably be best to consider locking the topic imo.

Otherwise users will continue to guess March prices even though the month has already passed... just a thought.

You can always open another topic with April price speculation  Wink
I didn't really checked how much it was for March, is it really 23%? That's a pretty good increase, I am also interested in stocks and not many can ever achieve that much increase in a month, not like it hasn't happened before but it is not common like every month type of deal.

Bitcoin is truly volatile, it can go up and down so much in a single month, we see 23% as normal because we had so many months where it was so different and that is why it wasn't really something we could consider as an option. I can't really believe that we had a great month, it has been so long since we hadn't had a good increase that it is really a weird situation to see this happen like it is no big deal.
1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 06, 2023, 05:21:00 PM
From what I see in Dortmund they are disappointed after they lost the game against Chelsea they were expecting to beat Chelsea because they were in ina good form while Chelsea had a performance for weak, but they thought this will be an easy game for them and maybe that's why Dortmund lost the game against Chelsea in the champions league.
I think that was a breaking point for them too. I mean they expected to get a win on that game but they ended up losing which caused them to be quite unhappy with what they have. Which is understandable because they imagined maybe they would win bundesliga and go a bit further in the UCL as well, probably not win it obviously but at least go a bit further, beat Chelsea at the very least, looking at how Chelsea had a terrible season so far, that seemed like an understandable goal for them.

In the end, they both lost the top spot, and also lost in UCL which happened back to back and that is something that may cause some morale drop in the whole team as well.
1256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 06, 2023, 03:48:03 PM
Better for Manchester United staying below Tottenham, they didn't only win last match to be in their favour, they also have another match to conquer to reach the current match week of the league which round 29, that been said. I think they should be able to win their next match with Everton with the way they are in form, that will hep Manchester to stay ahead of Newcastle if they failed to convert their next match to points.

It is possible for the Manchester United and Newcastle to finish the league on the top 4, they still have strong forms and I think your are right about Arsenal winning Newcastle but I don't think they have good chance of winning except Frank Lampard has a method to transfrom the blues for good this time.
Looking at how United is playing, I still think that they have a high chance of finishing in that third position, and that means a lot. Why? Because it means less games for UCL, and it means more money, and it means they are going to get more tv rights as well, and it basically means that sponsor income is higher too. All of that equals to more money and that's what they need.

There is a possibility that the team could be sold as well, in that case it even means more value to the team as well. I hope that they do as well as they hope for, and if they can, then we are going to see a better United in the future as well. That's something to care about without a doubt.
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market is your friend on: April 05, 2023, 08:19:35 PM
bear market only good for those with money to accumulate otherwise it's just full of losses for our investments.
accumulating is great but it does require money beforehand and I'd say not that many are having such money to invest and hold for long, so it's only suited for long term holders.
We are all in this market to learn. Sometimes a lot of mistakes are made in order to learn successfully. Sometimes you have to go through a bear market with huge losses and think that cryptocurrency is a scam. But with time, you learn how to invest properly. You don't have to have a lot of capital to buy coins in a bear market. You just have to sell those coins at the right time and come back to the market in a year or two. Patience is the key.
I think it is obvious that when you make enough profit from it just once, rest is quite easy as well. I mean if you joined the market when it is bear, and wait until it is bull even just once, you made a good profit, and then sell it, wait for a huge crash, wait for it to drop 70%+ and then buy again, and sell again when you make 5x or more profit, even x10, and then repeat that many times over.

That's how wealth happens, all you have to do is the first bear market entry and bull market exit, if you could do that then the rest is incredibly easy and shouldn't be an issue for you at all. I need to explain how hard that is though, going in at the right time and going out at the right time, have to realize that's a tough job.
1258  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is ageing and old people part of bitcoin? on: April 05, 2023, 07:45:31 PM
I think this kind of thing depends on where you live and how your parents think.
Indeed, there are still many parents who are still very unfamiliar with the Internet, Gadgets or today's sophisticated technology, but on the other hand we also cannot close one eye because everyone is different and basically for some large areas there are already very many parents who can. spending all day just reading the news from their gadgets and leaving the newspapers or magazines they like.
A research showed that this is economically related. Nations like UK or USA has a lot more elderly who understands the latest technologies because it's cheap for them, even getting the latest brand new phones and macbooks or whatever do not mean a ton of money for them and that's something they can afford easily, so they buy it and try to learn it, some do and some don't but at least they can try to. Whereas in poorer nations not even young people can afford it even though they work 12 hours a day, like me for example, I can't afford a new iophone, it's about 1000 dollars here, wife wants it, but we can't ever buy it ever in our life.

Because that's too much, and no matter how upset she can be, we will never own one. How could my parents afford it then? They are retired old people living on retirement fund, so it's impossible for them to ever learn if they can use it or not, because they are too poor to even try.
1259  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Predictions? on: April 05, 2023, 07:10:42 PM
Today marks the 18th number of days that Bitcoin has spent consolidating between the price range of $26-$29k, and the last time that this happened was between the end of January and towards the beginning of February, while on the 19th -20 days Bitcoin got a breakout, so if this should be applied to the current market situation , I believe that a break out of this range is imminent and could happen towards the end of the week. We still haven't touched the $30k, we also have not revisited $25k-$24.5k level ,these are two areas to watch for buyers who wants to step into the market.
I would guess that I am sure it could end up being over 30k with the new breakout and make a new bottom. The support will put all the money in there, making sure that it doesn't go under 30k ever again, or at least if it tries to, make it hard to go under that price and that's an important thing. It is not going to be easy and all but it could happen and that's why we should be investing into something that is a bit more profitable if we ever do that.

This is why I am in belief that breakout will happen this month in April, don't know if it will be this week or next, but this month, and then we won't go under 30k ever again for a long time, maybe even ever.
1260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: April 05, 2023, 06:18:04 PM
In fact, most of the European teams are much better and they have better quality comparing African or Asian teams If you check the FIFA ranking or the teams who won the world cups in the past they were mostly European countries or some American counties like Brazil and Argentina that's why I think to have a world cup with better quality, if were are going to see more teams in the next world cup most of these teams should be europian.
It's not just about the teams that win, it's about the teams that participate and bring honor to their nation as well with whatever they have. If a team is destined to lose all their games in the group stages but end up winning at least one, even that makes the nation happy, or if they are calculated as not going out of the group stages, but they do end up going out of the group stages, it doesn't matter if they lose the next game, they did better than expected.

These matter too for the nations and even though we only remember the winners, can you forget Morocco being so good? I am sure Moroccans will never forget that for many years. Those things matter.
