1241  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitpay sells stolen Amazon gift cards? on: February 04, 2021, 09:43:43 PM
I had a similar accident on the Amazon Prime Gift membership. My account got locked the day I was expecting the shipping from the seller. They told me that I would never be able to use Amazon's website, my address and everything accosiated with me was banned. I explained them the situation, at first they didn't take care of it but after a lot of attempts, they seriously took my case and finally I am freely using my Amazon account.

Their customer supports are great, always message you on time. You should try active communication with them. If I remember correctly, you can still reach them in live chat but more serious conversations goes via email.

When my account was locked, I still had access on some features, I was even able to see the item that I ordered but every functionality dissappeared time to time in some login.
1242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Employees can get salary in Bitcoin in Miami on: February 04, 2021, 07:02:36 PM
What are your thoughts about this?

This case is not something revolutionary and new, a few years ago we could read similar news that some companies allow their workers to get part of the salary in BTC. At the end of 2017, a Japanese company announced that it would give the possibility of paying salaries to its employees in BTC. Of course, there is always a problem with the price of BTC, which is very volatile, so every employee can find himself in an awkward situation when BTC loses, say, 20% or more of its value overnight - but again, it can profit if the opposite happens.

Since this is a  free will, there is nothing wrong with it. I think employee should realize what he wants to do with his funds and think twice why he wants to receive funds in bitcoin and how he is going to manage those funds. For example, if someone has Crypto.com's card or Coinbase or others, they can receive their salary in those accounts, spend crypto without high fees and get rewards for spending. I think this is very nice.

Btw this is a great news. You know, one action is always followed by another and this kind of step is a signal that in near future adoption will dramatically increase.

As shared by LEVSKI7, I am not the only one who isn't comfortable with sharing KYC and personal information with a gambling site from overseas, and this is really not such an intense case that should require me to submit KYC. Most members agree with me on this as well.
Most of us here aren't comfortable with sharing our information, not only overseas but just overall. Personally, I don't like when they ask: Hey bro, give me your KYC and I'll decide later what to do. But... (Continue in the second answer)

As I said, it was my mistake for not reading this section about potentially needing to submit KYC to withdraw funds - I apologize for not reading this section and not being aware of this initially, so I kindly ask FortuneJack to cooperate with me on this without the need to overcomplicate it or pressure me to share my personal information (which to me is extremely important & confidential).
It doesn't matter here. If their TOS is created according to protecting every standard and it was included in their TOS to include your KYC in such cases, then they are right. There was a mistake from their side in your case and the community helped you, changed the whole situation, now you won't be forgiven too for your mistakes, that will be just unfair.
It's not a street market to deal with random things.

Everything is up to you guys, hope you'll have a smooth conversation and agreement.

1245  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to deposit to Betfair in banned countries 2021 on: February 01, 2021, 10:23:52 PM

I have a betfair account for a few year, however, as some policy modified recently, I cannot deposit to betfair. It is being too difficult to deposit money to Betfair now in some banned counties,
So any buddy have any idea of deposit money from some banned countries? Please sharing.  Undecided  Shocked
Where are you from? I suggest you to check if Flutter Entertainment owns any casino in your country. Flutter is a company that owns Paddy Power and this last one owns BetFair. There are some countries where official Betfair's URL is banned but if there is casino/sportsbook in your location owned by them, then you are lucky and will be able to use almost all of their service on another website that will be owned by them.

You can see the list of these online casinos/sportsbook here: https://www.flutter.com/our-business/our-brands
1246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you buy 1 bitcoin and hold for years in your own offline wallet, taxes? on: February 01, 2021, 10:07:23 PM
Are laws that strict in the USA? I know some people who do that kind of job without reports and they hadn't a single problem. What If I use for example Yandex Money? That's Russian and I guess they shouldn't have that much control on transactions, history, etc. What if I say that my relative sends me some money in bitcoins to feed me or financially help me? Won't they believe? Will they dig further? Do they really do that on every single person?

I hear this kind of things online but in real life, some people say differently. I don't know if they want to appear manly or cool buys by not paying taxes but...

Taxes... Foods in supermarkets are taxed, our salaries are taxed, supermarket employee's salaries are taxed, supermarket's income is taxed, etc... I used word tax for four times, I would have used it twice or thrice more... Things are more than 5X taxed, that's insane.
1247  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: February 01, 2021, 09:03:51 PM
Lol.. "Follow laws and rules - I'll take you to court if I have to" > "well actually I don't want to to give you kyc because you are offshore and blah blah"

Jesus christ man.
Their office is located in Tbilisi, Georgia and they have an amazing team, I disagree with the statement above that this casino is offshore, untrustworthy, etc. I have been in touch with some of their team members years ago and know them in real life but it doesn't matter right now. It's sad but some good people left FJ recently and moved in a different casino that's again Georgian but not crypto oriented.

Okay, I love FJ and there are a lot of reasons but I disagree with them in this case, finally, community think that EpicChamp is right. But now they ask for KYC and saying: Hey boy, send me your KYC and I'll tell you my final decision later. There are moments when KYC documents are requested, for example when it comes to suspicious money/account activity but why in this case?

And why do you protect FJ so strongly? In every sentence?
1248  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't be surprise to see price of btc drop this week on: February 01, 2021, 08:27:37 PM
I am surprised that it had a 4% rise in the last 24 hour. I was expecting the price to go down and play between 25-30K and then go down and become 15K USD. I converted my bitcoins into USD and right now I'm waiting for it to fall, sell them when price was 39K, then did some trades when it was playing between 34-38K but don't want to play right now and mess with the things. I plan to wait for good loss or for a good chance where I'll be confident with the price changes to trade at a certain timeframe.

Btw why do you think that according to that chart price will fall? This chart has nothing to do with the price and its rotation isn't the deal. I don't know if you or anyone had success with that but personally I look at this like what our mind wants to imagine and how it wants to continue the unwritten future.
1249  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: February 01, 2021, 01:27:01 PM
~snip~
This is a very large program that is running freebitcoin we just found out this is now clear in my mind indeed this is for the long term if I look at gambling users on freebitcoin I will see how this program goes forward and of course I want to follow every step in run.

Not being half-hearted in promoting this program by launching a campaign with quite a large prize, the participants are quite a lot of 100x Hero / Legendary which is needed. I am sure that with advertisements like this it will increase even more in the program it runs.
I just saw their sig campaign and was thinking what happened with them, 100x signature campaign participants, especially Hero and Legendary members with their pay rate costs 6000 USD a week. It's not a much for running a promotion but recently I haven't seen a sig campaign to be that massive.

I couldn't really believe but according to the "SimilarWeb" (that you include on your website) Freebitco is N23 in the gambling niche. It's more popular than Betfair and Betsson, I really couldn't imagine this. I thought PrimeDice, Stake, Bitsler and other websites were more popular than Freebitco, so hands up here.
1250  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Visa Cards Are Now Available in Europe on: February 01, 2021, 11:09:29 AM
Hi guys, I came up with some questions.

Can you pay online with your binance card without a problem? Do you they automatically activated 3D security? I mean, do you get a verification code in your smartphone on every payment where you enter your card details?

Is there anyone user of any Neobank in Europe? Or even outside? I want to know if anyone has used their card in Neobank from Card to Card transfers without problems. I really don't understand why do they have these strange problems and I don't know anymore whether really order their card or use Wirex. Btw Binance is the best option for me, it would be very flexible.
1251  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: February 01, 2021, 10:34:16 AM
All this talk about Doge has got me thinking, once price drops, it's going to be a great time to invest again. Gamblers love doge and they'll want to win as much as possible from small amounts. Seems wise to be investing doge in all the casino bankrolls available;)

39 million was the highest bankroll for Doge here?
I have seen 76-79 millions doge invested on yolodice while it price was still below than 25 sats. Most of them have divested their investment when elon musk tweeted doge and then the recent one. For sure those people who hold their DIGE before pump happened, already got great profit since doge price +800% on 2 days ago
Logically most investors would withdraw because it's 800% rise, imagine, 8X rise of your bankroll. People who invested for example 10 000 USD, got 80 000 USD. I highly think people exchanged those dogecoins and maybe will wait for it's prise to fall and then reinvest again in order to enter on yolodice with the higher bankroll and gain more profit in quantity. Or they may change the mind and invest in something different. I don't know their stats well but I believe there would be investors with a decent amount of money, maybe this 800% rise led them to start their own business.
1252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone who holds 100 doge will become a millionaire in the future but why? on: January 31, 2021, 09:22:06 PM
I think that what this man does sometimes seems out of logic and is just a tasting of personal powers over society. Musk says Signal is safe and society moves on Signal, Musk says that doge is good and it has enormous growth rate in one day. I don't like that, people just blindly follow some billionaires.
And doge can't become so high in value. This coin doesn't carry anything valuable and in reality, it was just a joke coin. You can't turn a snail into a horse, same applies to dogecoin and it's "predicted" price.
1253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi Nakamoto is Revealed Today, How Much it will Cost to Read ? on: January 31, 2021, 08:53:25 PM
No "If" before clarifying one thing: Was satoshi a person or a group of persons? And answer to this question means a lot, every detail can have a huge and different effect on a lot of things.
Maybe satoshi was just a fictional character? You know, it's common on storytelling. At some point, you write a wonderful story and reality goes well but on another hand, this story is artificial, still magical to captivate the people.

Also, if any website just says anything satoshi the way you think, believe me, this is such exclusive news that everyone will ignore the copyright thing and write an article from original source with images included, etc.
1254  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Bitcoin in Africa Is a Way for Some to Escape Poverty on: January 31, 2021, 08:03:49 PM
And what's the purpose of this? That bitcoin is a way of escape in Africa? I am amazed that I see success stories. What if you have bitcoins right now, for example, 1 BTC, equal of 32,800 and tomorrow you see a 15% decline in price, just somehow. You lose 15% in one day and don't tell me that it's impossible. 15% profit in a single day is possible too, yeah, I agree and even more but it's very risky, for me it looks like going on deal or no deal.

It's good if anyone is earning money via day trading or just trades through the year that profit from it is good enough to bring them a comfortable life. Still, I don't suggest anyone to move on bitcoin trading, it's their opinion and personally, I wouldn't promote me, not because I have a different opinion in it but I have seen people who bought bitcoins in 2017 when the price was 20K and one man on reddit even lost the house.

Also, I knew a person who was living years (more than 10) by filling/writing sports tickets but he sometimes had bad moments.

1255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice games on: January 31, 2021, 06:56:42 PM
Seems people still don't understand that there is math behind casino games.

To make things easy, just imagine: 2+2=4 It's 100% clear that the result is 4. Is there any strategy where you can make it to result as 5? No, always 2+2=4. Take two yoghurts and then two again, anyway it will be four and there no way you can make 5th one in your hands.

The samy applies to Dice games, 1% house edge is 1% house edge and it means that mathematically, on long term casino is the winner. You only depend on pure luck and you can't beat luck by using mathematical strategies, only luck vs luck.
1256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any clue about the amount to buy or sell to influence the price trend? on: January 31, 2021, 06:20:22 PM
It's not good when you make money out of thin air. Always remember that making money that way comes with risks and in this case, it's just considered as an illegal activity because you manually cause price change and destroy the purpose of fair trading.

Usually, that's done on new and unknown altcoins, mostly in order to fool some people. When people see rising altcoins, they think to better buy them now than later. Those groups sell coin in high price and then dumb the price. The opposite happens too, people behind coin create a telegram group and put some people there, "signal seekers" who want to earn money easily and cheat them, make group members to buy coin at a high price.
1257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High possibility major governments will BAN Bitcoin in the near future on: January 31, 2021, 05:59:42 PM
The major governments of the world have for some time been laying the groundwork for their own national cryptocurrencies. Does that matter? Yes, it matters a lot. Bitcoin will be a direct competitor.

Why do they do this? To remain in financial control and to stop financial crime like whitewashing of funds from happening. Is it likely to happen? Yes, the US banned holding gold privately in the 1930's. So that the US government was to be a monopoly gold holder in the US.

There is a clear danger that the US, Europe, China, Japan and others will get togheter and flat out ban and even criminalize the usage and holding of Bitcoin. Resulting in after the ban, if you are cought using and holding BTC, you would get a huge fine or jail term.

The price of Bitcoin would get killed completely, you would be looking at Bitcoin below $1000.

How likely do YOU think this scenario is? Although you might say this is only speculation, IT IS A FACT that these countries are working on cryptocurrencies of their own.
If you don't see a clear difference between 1930 and 2021, then I don't know what to say. They banned not only gold but Alcohol distillation, steroids, 90ths drugs, etc. But what? Gold is legal again, alcohol is legal again and just visit the Campus of any University, you'll be amazed when you see what happens there. Also, every bodybuilder and fitness influencers (some exceptions ofc) use steroids (while it's illegal).

Nevermind, Bitcoin isn't their competitor and there is no need to ban it. Plus, consider that there are a lot of businesses built around Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, you can't just abandon them when you wish.
1258  Economy / Economics / Re: Everybody talking about economy reopen but problem on: January 31, 2021, 05:24:40 PM
For me, Banks will never do it. They are afraid to lose their customers, they will start to lose income too. Bitcoin is the number 1 threat for the banks.
Bitcoin aims to solve the problem in traditional banking.
Economy will get back to track in a normal way, people will start to learn and realize how suck the current economy and that's the time they will start to introduce in Bitcoin.
What is a threat for banks? Look, some exchanges are backed by banks, almost every exchange asks for KYC in order to trade, their "Bitcoin cards" are backed by Visa / Mastercard, is bitcoin still a threat for banks? I think at first it was but right now, this threat is absorbed and destructed.

OP, first of all, 60% of the population doesn't know anything about bitcoin, even if people know, it can't handle that many transactions from so many people. And where are governments going to convert budget into bitcoins? On Binance or on Coinbase? Cheesy

Converting money in bitcoin can't increase the value and quantity of money. If you want like that, then calculate everything in cents instead of dollar bills.
1259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There's nothing special about BTC, you will make MUCH more $ in the stock market on: January 30, 2021, 08:30:45 PM
Stocks, bitcoin, forex, etc doesn't matter if you aren't good at it. There is something special in each of them for some people, that's why traders are divided into different things. What if I tell you that marketers don't earn much money but psychiatrist earn dozen amount of money? Does this mean that we shoud all turn into this last profession? There can be a great marketer who will earn billions and there can be a bad psychiatrist that can be left without job in medicine forever.

Investment can bring amazing profit when you invest in publicly unknown projects. Everyone knows google and microsoft nowadays.
1260  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich have too much on: January 30, 2021, 07:59:42 PM
Being a rich is a dirty thing too, there are only certain people who have become rich from honest work, otherwise everything happens from dirty job. Don't have an expectation that they study and work hard.

But at the same time, why are you poor? Yeah, it's hard to be poor but it's hard to be rich too. Just sitting at home and doing nothing can't bring you money. Work hard smartly.

And, if we set higher taxes on rich people, we have to put highest percentage of money into education. When there will be an educated people, politicians and "bad guys" will have less power on people. Right now, fake promises and fake hopes still win over people.
