1261  Economy / Economics / Re: How to spend money determines whether you can avoid unnecessary problems on: February 23, 2023, 03:57:54 AM
I guess most of us are doing fine now but financially we have to face one common problem: how to spend money.
It's not hard if you know how to manage your finances well. People who value their hard-earned money are aware of their priorities to avoid unnecessary spending.

If you live this kind of lifestyle and at the end of months, you are running out of money or can't pay the mortgages, whose fault is this ?
There's no one to blame but yourself. You're the one managing your money on where to spend it and what to prioritize. It's fine to do what can makes you happy because you deserve to reward yourself for being a hard worker. However there should be a limit and not come to a point that you're short to pay your monthly responsibilities just because you overspend.
1262  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] GCrypto is now available to selected users on: February 23, 2023, 01:38:04 AM
pero sa mga users na available na ito pwede ba maka receive/send ng crypto na available sa gcash? Or para lang din syang maya?
If I understood you correctly, yes pwede maka receive ng on-chain transactions[1] just like a typical non-custodial wallet.

The only question I have in mind is if Gcash would allow their user to manually input the transaction fee sats/vbyte or baka parang sa Binance lang din na may fix transaction fee kapag withdrawal na since powered yung exchange ng PDAX.

Nevertheless, if it's the latter, wala ka ng magagawa kasi conveninent naman in the first place.

[1] https://help.gcash.com/hc/en-us/articles/10203037376025-How-do-I-send-crypto-to-another-wallet-or-exchange-Under-50-000-

1264  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I invest my 60% savings in Bitcoin? on: February 22, 2023, 04:00:57 AM
There's a possibility for the price to crash below $20k level but it doesn't mean you'll face 100% loss with your investment. Did you buy Bitcoin already if so, at what price?

You can invest your savings because it's all up to you. However, keep in mind that there's no assurance if you'll gain (but of course as a bitcoiner, we're postive in the future of Bitcoin) since we don't know what lies ahead that can affect the price of Bitcoin. That's why invest only the money that you can afford to lose, because obviously you're already worried facing 100% loss so you're looking for an accurate answer about the price. Hence, much better if you think carefully and ask yourself if you can bear to see a worse can to happen because the future is uncertain.
1265  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: February 22, 2023, 01:26:27 AM
My question is can someone that doesn't have any knowledge about trading and how the system work can he or she trade.
It's important that you have knowledge about trading because that's how you'll understand how to do it right and how you can possibly earn when you trade. Trading without knowledge like what your friend want is very risky and he will likely face losses. If he value his hard-earned money then he won't enter in trading without knowing what he's getting into.

Therefore if he really wants to be a trader, advice him to not rush things and take time to learn before anything else because knowledge is vital in trading.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Do Gamblers Do This? on: February 21, 2023, 09:08:39 AM
You'll only realize your mistake after losing it all that's why regrets are always in the end. At first, you're able to control yourself and it is fun to win. But when losses are getting deeper and the way you gamble is out of control (facing problems like debt, relationship and health problem) it's the time that you'll be be hit to realize it is not right already and you will think to stop.

It's a human nature, until you never see the bad side you'll continue to do what you used to. In gambling, if you're not yet facing a serious problem, you can't think of stopping unless you are solely playing just to entertain yourself and not because of profit.
1267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino games plebs like us must play on: February 21, 2023, 05:10:36 AM
<snip>
It should have been better for you if you set your boundaries that time. Did you really mean to allocate all of that money for that gambling session? If you do, I wish you accepted the risk of possibly losing all of the money before you continued playing. Well, I can't blame you, it is really hard sometimes to hold ourselves from playing. Let us be more disciplined next time though.
like planning a budget for gambling it is very important to avoid big losses and blowing up all of your salary money or savings.
sometimes it can be hard to control yourself to stop gambling after losing a few dollars. but if we have planned a budget for gambling, surely it will be easier for us to control ourselves to stop gambling after the budget runs out.
so it's better to still plan a budget before gambling to avoid bad things.
That's what i'm doing. Every payday I set aside a money for leisure, it depends on me where I want to spend it but usually it's for gambling. If my budget runs out that's the time to stop, that way I can control myself not to go beyond what I can afford because I also don't want to have problem for not having a limit. So far, it works though sometimes i'm also getting tempted to play longer especially if i'm not yet satisfied, but still, I can refrain.
1268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Favorite Play’n Go Games and Experience on: February 21, 2023, 01:02:58 AM
I rarely play slots, but some of the most recent ones I've played by Play 'N Go (And some that I remember) were Reactoonz 2, Tome of Madness and I think it was called Sweet Alchemy Bingo and Rise of Olympus way back a few years (or maybe just last year not really sure). I don't really think I've ever hit it big with slots, the only games I've won a bit better than the norm was usually in crash/blackjack since those two were the top games I play, I usually just play a bit with slots in most cases.
Same here. I rarely play slots as well and when I do, Book of dead and Rise of olympus are my choice in play n go provider. I experienced to win above the usual in Rise of Olympus, it's not much but that's how I became hooked in this slot game. So everytime i'm in the mood to play slots, these two are my choice.

But i'm not really a fan of slots because often I don't win, there's only a slim chance to hit a high multiplier and it's recommendable if you have a decent funds. So I prefer live games particularly Baccarat because that's where I find myself lucky.
1269  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 20, 2023, 07:20:18 AM
Level 1 KYC in Roobet isnt really actually something that you would need to be bothered specially if you are a small time gambler. You could always make use of false information (which it isnt recommended)
for whales or big wagerers since we do know on what are the risk when you do make use of false information on which you would really be having a huge problem on times of verification or somewhat
correlated to this.
As you've said it is not recommended and I won't advice anyone to use false information even they're not whale gamblers. There are Roobet promotions that needs to be level 2 verified, hence if you plan to join how can you do that if you submit a false information for level 1? Not just that, because even we're average gamblers there's a chance for us to win huge if we got lucky so chances are we might face a further verification. Much better to refrain from playing if you don't want to give your real info and look for other casinos who doesn't require their gamblers to undergo kyc verification, we always have a choice.
1270  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: February 20, 2023, 05:11:44 AM
-snip-

Of course it is criminal, we are talking about a shady casino after all, actually that is mostly what is being discussed in this thread, so we can warn others before they deposit.

Also, since you have not been able to move on after six months from those 140$ they seem to have scammed from you, makes me think you are likely from a country where that is a significant quantity, I am sorry for your loss.

Despite of the warnings given to gamblers to avoid this scam site, many gamblers (particularly newbies) are still end up playing in 1xbit. They will only realize their mistake after they got scammed. Unfortunately, 1xbit has no plan to return the money of these players posting here to compaint, that's the truth. So @deniszhukovorc5 even you can't let go your $140, because it's not a small amount for average joe, you have no choice but to accept what happened and be wiser in choosing a casino the next time you will gamble again.
1271  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do if bitcoin crash? on: February 20, 2023, 03:43:52 AM
If bitcoin crash today, what will be your fate? Poor or rich. Most people on the platform have submitted all their life savings to bitcoin investment. There was once a man in my area who sold his house to invest in a local platform called BARAZAR in 4 months missive the so-called BARAZAR was shoot down and now he does not have a cottage. So I ask again if bitcoin crashed today what will be your description rich or poor?
If you follow the rule to only invest what you can afford to lose then even the outcome is not good for your investment you will still be fine. Hence, if Bitcoin crash (though I doubt it will happen) it doesn't affect me financially since the money I invested in Bitcoin is the money that I can live without. Moreover, I have other investments to count on, that's the importance of diversifying because even the other failed, I still have other to look forward for the future.

So don't be complacent and always have an alternative plan just incase. Because regardless how good the investment is, don't forget that there's always risk.

1272  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [NEWS] GCrypto is now available to selected users on: February 20, 2023, 01:30:43 AM

1273  Economy / Gambling / Re: DUELBITS ASK FOR KYC WHEN YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED PROFITS on: February 19, 2023, 08:46:56 AM
if you don't want to withdraw money without KYC you should play decentralized casino because it's safe and without KYC but if you play centralized casino you should follow the rules of the game as they also have rules you have to follow, I'm also not interested in giving KYC then from that I always avoid it let alone withdraw big money of course I will be asked to submit KYC
Some people found themselves in this unwanted KYC position because the gambling website failed to state the fact about KYC verification where every new user can easily read and know what they are going into, I believe they are doing this intentionally, they knew some people will stay away from their website because of KYC verification, but after they win some money they have to abide to get their money withdrawn, users will have no choice but to pass the KYC to get their money out.
It's true that many gamblers are staying away in casinos asking for kyc. The reason why it's important to read the rules first of the specific casino and clarify things before playing especially if you are too concern on kyc. If you're going to play in a regulated casino, expect that they will ask you to abide in the kyc verification sooner or later. Winning huge is one of the reason for them to ask this verification. Nevertheless as piebeyb mentioned, much better to play in decentralized casino to keep yourself out of this kyc thing if you don't like the idea of submitting your personal documents.
1274  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: February 19, 2023, 07:49:23 AM
I finally hit max win on Gates of Olympus. Its been a while hunting this max win while I've seen alot others were getting it. Minimum bet of $20 bonus buy that ended up hitting maxwin on 1000x multi. I thought this game max win was 2500x or something but dang 1000x is good enough I guess

I still had around 4 spins left after hitting 500x multis and if it wasnt 1000x max win then I would have gotten alot more than this
Well done!
Share replay so we can enjoy watching max win script too 🙂

Sure, why not. Here enjoy the Replay. It happened so suddenly and in just few spins, poof I hit the max win
Congrats for the nice win. It's always good to watch a winning moment because we know it's not always happening.
I never experience to hit a high multiplier in any slots so everytime I see a gambler managed to win decent amount, i'm thinking it can happen to me as well if I play the same game. But I can't this time because pragmatic play provider is not available in our country. Grin Anyway congrats again.
1275  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: February 19, 2023, 05:31:25 AM
This is why I feel more comfortable gambling only on casino sites promoted on this forum as there are various reviews for each casino site and the sites are researched and rated by many users so I don't directly trust any other review site.  I use this forum as a good resource and I think it will not let us down if we trust this forum and use casino sites. So I'm not putting any focus on the op's site yet. and I have no problem with that site
Review websites all have the very same problems, problems which are similar to the issues we have been trying to avoid by the use of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

If a review website becomes popular suddenly it gets a lot of power as a positive review can bring a lot of customers to a casino and a bad review can affect a casino negatively to a very high degree, so casinos naturally want a good review and some owners are not above offering bribes to get their desired review, eventually the temptation is too high and bribes are accepted in exchange of good reviews, but soon enough gamblers realize a dramatic difference between the reviews and their experiences, this creates distrust and finally it becomes the downfall of the review website.
Yes there are paid review sites accepting bribe to casino operators to make a positive reviews.

That's why it's not advisable to only rely in review sites (if they're not trusted and established) because it can be fake reviews to lure the gamblers to play in the particular casino.

The shared informations of the users here are still more accurate because it is based on their own experience. Moreover many popular casinos have ANN thread here as our option on where to play so why look for not popular? If we can choose on casinos that already have good reputation.
1276  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: February 19, 2023, 04:38:08 AM
However, on another side, behind the loss, there is an advantage which casino got from the gambler, yes, the casino got a profit. the casino is really like the richest gamblers who haven't emotional control. the casino will invite them to always play until their money runs out.
Indeed. When a gambler lose, the casino win, and often, that's the case because of the house edge. So when you play and you can't handle the possibility that you might lose your money (since it's likely to happen) then don't try to gamble at all. Because it can affect you in every aspect negatively once you're not able to compose yourself once you lose.

Well, the profit is indeed attractive because we can win huge with low bet like in lottery or slots. But it's solely depending on luck hence expect the unexpected. Riskier if the situation is you bet million to earn thousand dollars (like the gambler in this topic), such a waste.
1277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: February 19, 2023, 02:49:56 AM

Sorry that was my bad, of course I meant defensive not offensive style. Obviously. I just got a bit mixed up who I meant lol. Once Haney finds an opening, his counter punching combos are really nice to watch. Not so much his signature jabs but that might be where defensive styles lack style. He really seems to like parrying from a higher guard stance with his jab.

But his attack combos? The transitions are really nice.

I just think his size will be the deciding factor when combined with his defense in his fight vs Loma..

When Devin size, yeah it could really be an advantage for him whoever he fight. Even if he fought a boxer with similar length, he still manages to win. At the same time, Loma also fought boxers that are taller and beat them.

So it's really a hard fight to pick as both as his strengths, however, their style can also negate any advantages of their opponents.

Adjustment, both can do that as well in the middle of the fight, both have high boxing IQ.

If Lomachenko performance is in its peak then i can say, Lomachenko has a better chance of winning because Loma's IQ is high enough to crack Haney's defence.  But if he perform like the last time, I think Lomachenko will lose this fight.  After all, Devin Hany performance gets better every fight.

That's the only time that we might have seen Loma is a bad performance, even when he lost to Teo and had problems with his shoulder, he still manage to engage him. Is this the sign that Loma is slowing down because of age?

I don't think so, most likely, its a combination of factors like long layoff and still the war in his mind in the background.

But he can't be distracted against Haney here, he should be mentally prepared otherwise he might lose this and never got a chance to fight for a world title because he is not getting any younger.

Well, Loma is not too old to think it's because of his age, I'd like to believe it's because of his background that's why he is rusty in his last fight. It might not be his best performance like what fans looked forward for but still he did well and managed to win.

Anyway, he really need to improve his performance if he wants to beat Haney incase their fight will push through. Because Haney is fearless, confident and an impressive boxer. Moreover he is much younger which is an advantage for him.
1278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 19, 2023, 01:17:30 AM
For fans of Mark Magsayo, i know that you are eager to watch him rebound on his recent loss to Vargas but for me this is not an easy fight for him.
Figueroa and Magsayo are a perfect match because they have a similar boxing record, so yes it's not going to be easy for the latter to win on this fight.

But certainly Magsayo will do his best to redeem himself. He gained his first title but lost it 6 months later to Vargas thus it's expected now that he will prove himself again to deserve another title. I'm not really his fan but as a kababayan I wish him a goodluck for this upcoming fight.
1279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake paid promotions on Twitter on: February 17, 2023, 05:52:15 AM
Here is one example of kind of string operation done

https://twitter.com/coffeebreak_YT/status/1621581040539033603?t=Vy7hWZYrxK4mob8EeFMeHw&s=19

It amplifies the need for investors to do their complete research before investing in newly launched projects. Even the person you had been admiring or following on social media platforms can be just promoting a scam. So apply some common sense next time instead of blindly following the expert financial advice of these gurus. Another platform, where this abuse frequently happens is YouTube where creators promote number of fake projects.
Well, it's not something new. Many influencers are paid to promote a certain projects to lure the investors. Unfortunately many people are still blindly following these influencers and didnt't take time to verify if the information is true. That's why it's easy now to spread lies with the help of these influencers who are only after money and don't have concern to other people that might become a victim of scam.

Thus as an investor we need to do our diligent research and don't just rely on what you read and see on different social media platforms.
1280  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The 4 trading fears and how to overcome them on: February 17, 2023, 05:15:47 AM
Fear of losing money and fear of missing out are the common fears I believe that most of the new traders have.
Indeed. Who don't fear losing money? Even an experienced traders don't want it to happen but sometimes it's inevitable, even we're careful to prevent it from happening. That's why we need to be knowledgeable on what we're doing to avoid mistakes resulting to losses.

On the other side, FOMO usually influenced the newbies because they tend to go with the flow without deep understanding, most of them are a fan of influencers spreading unreliable information. Trading is not easy so it's a must to fill our minds with knowledge first before deciding to try it. Don't have high expectation and always prepare ourselves incase something didn't go as planned.
