They are just on a roll. The addition of Crystallis and Reso on the team proves to be profitable to them. They were lucky they were able to pick up Reso in Riyadh, now they are reaping the fruits of their decision to make him an official member of Secret.

Favorites keep falling. I thought EG and LGD losing 0-2 was upsetting already then, I watched Team Spirit get demolished by Boom on a BO1 elimination game. Boom who I least expect to come out of the group stage because they were at the bottom until the last day of the group stage, sent the defending champion home. Congratulations to Boom, keeping their ticket alive and representing SEA in TI. 1% is still alive.

I thought Team Spirit will set a record to get the Aegis coming from the lowest bracket but no. Instead, they set the record for the earliest exit of the defending champ. What a disappointment.

I am not sure, but I think Harden is leaner this time compared to last season. That might contribute to him getting back his old game. He should be able to contribute better as the season progresses. It is just the first game of the season.


I am sure they will be happy to trade him IF they can find a team that is willing to take up the humongous contract that Westbrook has. Unfortunately, no team wanted to have Westbrook right now. So, they just have to wait until his contract expires. It is the last season of Westbrook, and he will be UFA next season. He still has recent contributions to the Lakers, 19-3-11 is still good. Maybe not be proportionate to his contract but still a good contribution considering he is not the first or second option in the team.

I do believe that Team Spirit will not be knocked out of the competition this early. They were knocked out to the bottom bracket last year as well in the first round of the upper bracket matches but they persevere, made it to the finals, and beat LGD. They are taking it one step further though this year. They are starting at the very bottom, BO1 elimination with Boom Esports. Boom showed resilience in the group matches and was able to snatch the last slot of the bottom bracket, but I think their journey will end this time against Team Spirit. Due to a large hero pool of Team Spirit, Boom will have a hard time figuring them out. And in a BO1 situation, that is very scary.


After the performance they had after they learned they had covid, I also doubt they will reach the main stage. They might not even get out of the BO1 matches. But we still cannot be certain about this. They can still surprise us, considering they are a good team.

If the ATH keeps doubling after every halving, then we only have like 2 or 3 halving before we reach that price. But we may need at least 5 more halving before we see that price stabilize. This is all just speculation because we do not really know what will happen in the future. The reverse can also happen.


It's okay though if it drops to 12k because we are so sure that it will reach 135k in the future. It just gives us more chance to accumulate more bitcoin before it takes off again.

We have been hovering around this prize for a while now, it may be safe to say that this is the lowest it can get for this year. Normally, the price spikes in November and slowly goes down again in December into the next year. We may see the same trajection of the price this year as you indicated that the market may enter a bullish market. The Lakers are just a mess right now, especially in the third quarter. There is no defense, and the offense is totally nowhere to be found. Their plays are a mess. It is just the first game but we already see that there is a lot to fix in this team in order to be competitive again. If they play weaker teams, they will be alright but against a well-organized team with good chemistry, they will surely struggle.

You are right that GSW may lack defense once Draymond Green is not on their roster anymore, but they can always teach their young stars to take over on the defense. If they can teach Durant to play a little defense, I am sure they can teach Kuminga or Wiseman to play defense. Or if that still lacks then they can still sign in some defensive specialist to play for them.



It is understandable. Availability is the best ability as they always say. It is hard to bet on someone who gets easily injured and will not be able to play. Even if you have the best skills if you cannot play games, then it is a waste of money and roster slots. Just take AD or Zion, they can be the best but most of the time they are sitting on the bench because of injury.

Kemba Walker can still be a role player in some teams, I think. But he should not be expecting large contract. Maybe a year in veterans' contract is good. It is still better than not having anything at all.

EG picked Thunder over Aster to go against so they might feel very confident against them. But personally, that is quite a risky bet. I would not underestimate Thunder just because they ranked lower in the group stage. We will see main-stage strategies moving forward so they may catch EG off guard. I will go for over 2.5 maps and Handicap Thunder +1.5. I am not expecting a sweep in upper bracket but I might be wrong as well. Good luck with your bet.


Boom Esports continued their streak today and was able to secure a lower bracket slot. I think they play better when they are playing elimination matches.


I expected Team Secret to at least snatch an upper bracket slot, but I did not expect them to be 2nd in group rank. They have continued their momentum coming from the Last Chance Qualifier. These LCQ teams might have a better grasp of the Meta since they are playing in this tournament longer, coming from LCQ matches. I did not make bets on this group stage because I expected it to be crazy. I reserved my funds for the Main stage where the matches are a bit predictable, and I have a little information about the strategy of the teams.


Tundra avoided LGD and chose OG for their first mainstage match. I would choose OG too if I were to choose between OG and LGD. LGD is on a hot streak. After a bad first-day start, they then dominated their matches dropping only 2 maps in 6 matches. That is a 10-2 run. Team Secret is in trouble because they have to face LGD immediately after the group stage.

There is no DOTA today, so RNG has a day to rest, heal up and regroup. I hope they can recover quickly so they can be back at their top form for the main stage.

OG was able to secure the final spot of the upper bracket in group A by beating RNG 2-0. After they played badly yesterday, losing a map to BetBoom, they turned everything around by demolishing RNG in their match.

Given the situation of RNG, I do not blame them for losing to OG. Since their health issue came out, they did not win a single game. We know how strong they are at the start of the tournament, if they could just put this bump behind them, then they can still come back from this. I do not know if a lower-bracket team was able to win a TI but there's a first time for everything. They can still go deep into the tournament.

Boom Esports is still hanging on their hope to clinch a spot in the lower bracket. They got the first map against EG. They need another map to force a tiebreaker against Soniqs. They are doing everything to win against all odds. Where is this fight from Boom early in the group stage? It's like they have just woken from deep slumber and finally find their fight.

That is quite a bold prediction or maybe wishful thinking. I have yet to see Zion play a full season so I am not making any prediction that they will beat any of these two strong teams. Let's say that this year, zion will be perfectly healthy and will be able to play in the playoffs, I do not think they can easily get past these two teams. Compared to a very young and inexperienced Pelicans, these two teams are already seasoned in the playoffs. Especially GSW, which already went through multiple NBA Finals. Unless these two teams suffered injuries from their core players, the young Pelicans will not beat them.

I like though that JA and Zion face each other in the playoffs.


I have not read this report. The warriors did not release any reason why the altercation and they are mum about it. Or did I miss this one?

Hokori is performing really well, that is why I doubt RNG will be able to get to upper bracket. If Hokori beats Liquid, then there is no chance for RNG or OG for to get to upper bracket. If hokori ends up getting a draw against liquid, then RNG or OG gets to tie breaker with hokori. But with the current situation of RNG, they might just fail to secure upper bracket. If Liquid beats hokori, then the 4th slot for upper bracket is pretty much open.

It is unfortunate but RNG needa to thread a needle in order to secure an upper bracket and with their health in question, it will harder for them to do it.

It has always been that way, for as long as I can remember. Besides, you just counted the wins of RNG, but you did not take into account the losses, that is 0-2 as well. RNG could been in higher rank if they did not lose 3 straight matches today. It is just unfortunate that they suffered these losses because they caught COVID, otherwise they could have easily contested EG in the top 1 position. They were at the top yesterday and posing to take the #1 slot until they were hit with COVID. Hopefully, they could recover but I doubt they can still make it to upper bracket. They may have to continue in the tournament in the lower bracket.


I really hope they will be allowed to continue if they were able to reach the semis. But the problem is the crew that will be covering them will be exposed to covid. I do not know if Valve will allow their crew to take that risk.

But it did not stop them from sweeping 2 of their matches. They got an easy picking against Boom and RNG defaulted on their second game because of Covid issues as well.

I think the whole team of RNG is now sick with Covid. I wonder how this will affect them in the next stage of the tournament. It is clear it already affected them today. They dropped 6 games in today's matches. They were at the top yesterday and now are in the lower bracket. It is a bad day for the Chinese teams.


I am not aware of this issue. What is the problem with Matu? He performed very well in their last match today against Boom Esports. They even swept the match 2-0. If there is any issue or problem with Matu, it is not evident. He was dominating in that game.

I do not know if other teams will offer him with a max contract though. In a year or two, he will be on the decline. Offering him max is just overestimating his value. I think he will receive decent offers but a max, I doubt it.

Then you have to consider this one as well when calculating his value in other teams. He is lucky he has Steph and Klay in the team, and Kerr as his coach because he fits too much in their system.

If the players contract covid after they have done the swab test, then Valve cannot actually control it. Symptoms come out days after getting the disease. Unless you want them to get swabbed every day, there is no way of knowing it until the symptoms come out. It is the team's responsibility to make sure their teams are following COVID protocols and report immediately if symptoms appear.


I think OG lost they chance to get to upper bracket when they lost game 1 to BetBoom. BetBoom is at the bottom of the bracket but they were able to beat OG. Too bad for OG, they needed that win to have a fighting chance for upper bracket. I guess they will start the playoffs from lower bracket and everygame will be an elimination game.


BetBoom is fighting for their life when they face LGD tomorrow. They badly needed the win in order to at least have a chance to snatch the last seat for the lower bracket. We will see how they will fight tomorrow that their chance to continue in TI is on the line.

Good to see Last Chance Qualifier teams are doing good in TI. Team Secret is sitting at 3rd and Team Liquid is at 5 but they have a good chance to snatch the last seat for Upper Bracket.

You need that reserved time to come up with the plan as the drafts come out. If the other team is countering you hard, you need that time to think about the heroes to pick or ban. Unless you are fully prepared and you really know the other teams' weaknesses, you'll need that time. And rushing drafts can have a disastrous result. Some games are actually won by just out drafting your opponents.

I am also clueless about how they came up with the penalties and why not have the same penalty. My guess is RNG is above them in current rank and while the other teams are below them. 


Hope you considered the penalties to LGD before you committed the bet. I am not sure if it will affect LGD, but RNG is quite strong right now. I am more inclined to a draw if not for a win for RNG.
