1361  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: How do I secure my wallet on: June 17, 2023, 09:25:06 PM
A non-custodial wallet is more secure for holding our cryptos, and we have the ability to improve the security of our wallets from the public. I'm always cautious when it pertains to my wallets, not revealing basic facts or concerns.
Non-custodial wallet doesn't mean an already secured wallet, security will depend from all the users' activities while using the device. If your device is unsecured your wallet will be unsecured too. Using "non-custodial" wallet also doesn't mean it's secured especially using a closed-sourced one example of what happened to atomic wallet.
I will still recommended using an open-sourced wallet like electrum, much better using on an air-gapped device.
1362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to fight with FUD about Bitcoin on: June 17, 2023, 03:12:45 PM
That's a good initiative but i don't think there's something you can do about the negativity he is saying especially to a someone like him who is persistent of telling misinformation. Just accept the fact there are always haters and they are just insignificant numbers compare to the achievement Bitcoin reach in the past 5 years.

Just continue what you are doing, well, most people here to educate people, and stop debating to closed-minded people who always hates.
Eto yung one of the main na reasons at mag bayad gamit ang ibang untrusted "payment gateway" which is nakukuha ang mpin ng gcash, parang may logger or parang phishing pero gumagana.
1364  Economy / Services / Re: Instagram Comments Likes on: June 16, 2023, 05:49:11 AM
No service is available in the Internet for this! I searched a lot!
Check buyviral online, i remember they have this kind of service. But the same as the one mentioned above the chance of likes getting removed, decreases are higher on such kind of service and getting the account banned/restricted is plausible. So do it with risk.
1365  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong Kong to allow banks to accept crypto firms as client on: June 15, 2023, 11:31:51 PM
Hongkong the same as Singapore always have the same idealogy regarding being business hub internationally.
But with the previous incident in Hongkong regarding the takeover of the China on the city looks like it hit different from other businesses. Knowing what kind of government China have towards businesses, i dont know.
1366  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 6 Crypto Friendly banks sa Pinas on: June 15, 2023, 11:13:22 PM
So far iba ang experience ko sa UB, smooth lage ang login process either with password, biometric, or with OTP (either sms or via app). At di rin pa ako nag forget password kaya never pa ako naka experience tulad mo.
1367  Local / Pilipinas / Re: T-Shirt Business For Bitcoin Adoption Profitable Ba on: June 15, 2023, 11:05:37 PM
Instead, pwede yung mga nakakatawang posts and memes.
1368  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto Earn Platform Haru Invest Freezes Withdrawals on: June 14, 2023, 11:54:32 PM
25% really is so huge return, how the hell a business can earn from such liabilities to their users when the market is not so stable. Or its just a marketing strategy? Well, no they suffer the cons (same as others) of having such business on this space.
1369  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 💸💸 [ rakeclub.com ] CRYPTO CASINO SOURCE CODE | CLASSIC GAMES | HQ FEATURES on: June 14, 2023, 11:02:11 PM
This is the thing that you need to work on, that is you still don't have customer for your script. Rest, you have good casino source code, price is also optimal as per your own words but still you are unable to find any customers.
It's not easy to find customer-finding casino software even outside this forum. That's why other's are hiring some agent, affiliate, ads on gambling-related blogs/list/ etc. to make it work. Patience is virtue.
1370  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Be Badly Hurt if Binance Goes Down? on: June 13, 2023, 11:29:49 PM
Whether you like it or not, it's always a yes. Smaller hacked or shutdown exchanges always give a bad effect on the market, how much more on largest exchange?

Shutting down of binance is highly unlikely to happen (for now) maybe on their US based offices/market, but it doesn't speak the same on the rest of their offices/market. But obviously it will have a mid to high bad effect on the market for some time.
1371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids and Bitcoin on: June 13, 2023, 11:19:22 PM
If they have at least knew how monetary system works, say USD on how it was made, its value, yes, you can go tell and teach them but i can't suggest comics books as i don't know one. If they don't have an idea even a bit, telling them first is much better.
1372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin whale 'awakens' after 10 years. on: June 13, 2023, 08:38:09 PM
It will be a bad idea to sell it now, it could be very reasonable if the owner insinuate on the bull market months ago in the range of 50k above. Guess what, selling those hard fork coin is not bad idea too.
1373  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Image link not working on bitcointalk on: June 13, 2023, 02:16:13 AM
Try to use talkimg.com or imgbb because there is something wrong linking imgur images. You can see a note when you're making a new or editing a post, i'm sure you just overlook that note.

1374  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isa na namang Bitcoin negative publicity on: June 12, 2023, 11:41:42 PM
Not so big deal naman ang mga ganyan, besides marami ng mga movies ang nag me'mention ng Bitcoin as a way to buy illegal things which no one cannot deny, kase nanggaling naman ang bitcoin sa stage na yan — silk road marketplace, or even today.
1375  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: My shoppy.gg payments are stuck on: June 11, 2023, 11:20:49 PM
I just don't understand the concept of a crypto online marketplace like them not paying the proper fees . Especially if the person doing the selling is the one paying the fees anyway, it's not like it comes out of shoppy's pocket.
Instead of blaming the sender, specifically this one, because they are also a business who wants to lessen the fee for them to get more profit.
We should question the technical side of it, where the network should drop the transaction already by a specific time not more than X days so it could not be like this that its almost 3 months.
1376  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Do you think BIP 106 would have solved the Mempool congestion due to BRC20? on: June 11, 2023, 11:00:50 PM
It is probably because of possible flaws that may happen and can affect the Bitcoin network even worse.
So what are the possible flaws? This is not something you can't predict of those "possible" flaws. There should an specific technical reason why it is not approved, i hope there is a discussion of it why they don't approve such scalable proposal.
1377  Other / Meta / Re: Why is this system not set up for the Bitcointalk forum? on: June 11, 2023, 10:36:11 PM
Ye, most of them make sense, but this is a very old forum who is currently working a new forum software and probably all of the mentioned features will be available there. Unfortunately there is no exact date when it will be available to use.
1378  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Nigerian SEC declare Ban on Binance Exchange activities. on: June 11, 2023, 04:07:57 PM
I don't want to think that the SEC is moving to ban Binance operations in Nigeria, declaring it an illegal entity.
Because it's not registered or licensed on their countries' crypto businesses record? Any international businesses that are accepting from X countries' people will always be needed to get a business licensed and follow its regulations either it's crypto regulation or not or else it will be labeled as illegal operations.
1379  Other / Meta / Re: Text size while posting reply on: June 10, 2023, 11:59:46 PM
I added screenshot to OP to show how text looks like. As I said, everything was fine, text size was big enough to read it easy. And I haven't changed any settings, so, no idea why it's changed. Now tried to find how to change it in settings, but didn't found.
That's how it looks like to me too, and it always needs me to zoon in/out when replying or reading replies.
Have you tried to check the "Accessibility"? All of the settings there is all about browser's font, zoom in/out, text scaling, etc.
1380  Other / Meta / Re: Text size while posting reply on: June 10, 2023, 06:47:39 PM
Isn't this normal for smartphone users? The zooming in and out just to read using mobile browsers although there is always browser settings for the font size to change dynamically.
