Bayern Munich doesn't seem to have any special players, but from what I can see their squad is evenly distributed and also they rely on team play rather than individual play, so it makes them seem like they don't have any special players.
Borussia Dortmund always sells star players, many players have left for other teams just because they want to get big profits. Erling Haaland is one of the young players they have managed to create and now he is making it big at Manchester City.

I disagree that Bayern Munich does not have special players. They have De Ligt, Alphonso Davies, Kimmich, Sane and Musiala for example. All of them have a market value of at least 60 Million €. So if those are not special or world class players, then i don't know. Maybe it is true that Bayern Munich does not have that single player stand is standing above everyone else like Dortmund had it in the last few years with Haaland and Bellingham, but that is not because Bayern Munich does not have great player it is because Bayern has many great players. Looking at the current squad of Dortmund without Bellingham i don't see a single Dortmund player that would make it into the starting 11 of Bayern.

Tottenham Hotspur's main issue is winning trophies; they will be at their best and still fail to win a single prize. Even the club's past managers, Anthonio Conte and Jose Mourinho, failed, so I can't think of any coach that is capable of saving the club because it's apparent that the problem stems from the boards and the players. I don't see any compelling reason why Tottenham Hotspur should have one of the best strikers in the English Premier League and still struggle to win a trophy. Harry Kane is the club's all-time leading scorer, and while he has not made his personal objectives public, I believe it is high time he tries a new chapter somewhere else.

Well winning trophies is just not that easy not in the English Premier League where you have clubs like Manchester City, Manchester United, FC Liverpool, FC Chelsea that probably all a little bit ahead of Tottenham in terms of the overall quality of the squad. In Europe it is just as hard to win something obviously because in addition to the big english clubs you also have opponents like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain there. So it is just incredibly hard to win a title in modern football.
Just because they have one of the best strikers in the world does not mean they should win titles. That is only 1 player out of 11 that are on the pitch. You need a team that is very high class on every position in order to be able to fight for a title.
143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 11, 2023, 11:08:13 AM
Congratulations to Manchester City and Manchester City fans. Before the match started, I predicted and told my Manchester City friend that this year is the club year. Manchester City had won premier league and other cups in England before, but they are yet to win Champions League, the club make that the past yesterday as they won Inter. What I noticed this year is that Manchester City players are just too good and they worth the winnings.

Just looking at the last few years then i think it was definitely time that Manchester City would finally win the Champions League. They were the best team in Europe for the last 3 years now or so and therefore it was just logical that they would win the Champions League sooner or later. The game yesterday though was way closer than most people expected i would guess. It was definitely visible that ManCity was very nervous and Inter Milan showed a great performance and was definitely not the worse team yesterday.

I am not too happy though that ManCity has won it now though because they are just one of those "artificial" clubs that were irrelevant before but then bought by a sheikh or oligarch as their little toy to play, pumping billions of € into the club.

Some German newspapers are reporting PSG's desire to bring in Julian Nagelsmann as coach but apparently there are problems with Bayern Munich as Nagelsmann still has a contract with Bayern. He would definitely be a very good choice at PSG but will he be able to come? Well, Psg has enough money to pay Bayern  Cheesy

If Julian Nagelsmann is really the number one candidate for the Paris Saint Germain then i think it would not be that big of a problem for them to pay a small transfer fee to Bayern Munich for him. From what i have read, Bayern is asking around 10 to 15 Million € for him, which is less than they have paid when they got him from Leipzig. So i think this is a pretty fair deal. Bayern Munich would obviously be pretty happy to, because they would not have to pay him anymore if he finds a new club in this transfer period.
I have also read though that some people at PSG think that Nagelsmann was pretty arrogant after Bayern had defeated PSG in the Champions League this season.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC lawsuit caused massive market crash on: June 10, 2023, 08:54:28 PM
The latest SEC lawsuit against Binance has caused a massive market crash, with BNB suffering the most, going as low as $233, the lowest it has ever been in 2023. Bitcoin has also suffered great losses, but it's not as bad as BNB, which hasn't stopped falling since the incident started and got progressively worse for altcoins when the SEC labeled 46 of them as securities to be avoided at all costs. Some of which include BNB, XRP, BUSD, MANA, and plenty of others. Personally, I believe that the condition is starting to become worrying, especially if Binance loses and there's no settlement, which would also have disastrous consequences for the market in general.
The most worrying of all is BNB, which is in freefall and its future might be doomed if no solution is found. What's your take on this? Do you think that a solution will be found to avoid any further losses, or are governments on their way of winning the war against cryptocurrencies?

It really seems like the crypto market just does not really get a longer time span to just rest and to be a left alone so it can slowly but surely start to grow again. Now the SEC came around with another news about an investigation and a lawsuit and the prices of all projects are crashing since a few days. I was pretty happy when i bought Cosmos (Atom) for a little bit below 10$ a few months ago and today it even scratched at the 7 dollar mark for a few minutes, now it is at around 8$, so still a 20% loss in comparison to my investment and with NEAR it is the same or even a little bit worse. Sadly i don't have any funds available at the moment so i can not stock up and good projects.

Leverkusen started a really good run with Xabi Alonso's arrival as we have talked about here before. Maybe they started to mess up a bit while we were getting close to the end of the season in the Bundesliga but the position they finished at is still impressive. Because we were talking about even the probability of their relegation before Xabi Alonso. Maybe it was still early to talk about that but their look was really bad.

I also think that Xabi Alonso is doing a great job at Bayer Leverkusen. I still remember, that when he took over the first few games were not successful for him and his club and i was already afraid that his time at Leverkusen could be over again pretty quickly, but then it seemed like the players began to understand his system and the way he wants to play football and finally the good results came in.
Alonso seems to be one of those former big players that also have a talent for being a good coach. Other former big players like Frank Lampard are acting very unlucky so far as a head coach but Alonso is doing a great job and already caught the attention of other clubs. I hope that he will stay at Bayer for at least one more year though.

I don't think it's an understatement, but on paper Manchester city has the ability that might be above them. For example, if Inter Milan was in Manchester City's previous position against Munich, it wouldn't necessarily win, let alone Madrid. Look at the statistics, Manchester City can get rid of the two clubs.
I also don't underestimate Intermilan it's just that it's difficult for them to get a win against Manchester City, if you believe Guardiola will fail later to win the CL and the treble winner, then I will be happy to hear that because I believe the results will determine who will be the winner, my bet is on Manchester city for 3 - 0 , not sure Lukaku or the interim striker can penetrate the Manchester city defense.

It is pretty obvious that Manchester City is the huge favorite in the final of the CL this evening. I don't want sound disrespectful towards Inter Milan but the only reason why they are in the final of Champions League is the extreme luck they had during the draw for the quarterfinals. We basically had a bracket with all the favorites in it with clubs like ManCity, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich and then we had the other bracket with Inter Milan, AC Milan, Benfica and Napoli.
I think that if Inter would have been in the other bracket, then most likely their way would have ended in the quarterfinal already.
Still this is a final and only 1 game so with a bit of luck and good timing Inter Milan can still be dangerous to ManCity.

Well Messi is probobly full of playing football and just wants to have fun a little and earn a lot more money in the last years of his football career. After he won the world cup he dosent have to win anything so there isnt anymore motivation for him to play at the top quality level as before.

It is pretty obvious, that all those transfers that are happening in the last 2 years or so of very big and very famous players to clubs from leagues that are absolutely irrelevant in the world of football are only happening because those players can earn a ridiculous amount of money there. I mean those players have earned between 15-25 Million € per year before too at least, but now at those clubs they can get ten times of that per season which is just crazy.
A single one of those players is earning more money there in one season of playing for a club that is absolutely irrelevant than a whole village of engineers and doctors will earn in their whole life.
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to get over it on: June 09, 2023, 11:55:37 AM
I’ve been reading comments from my last post (turning $4,000 into $90,000 and losing the entire $90,000), and I can’t help but feel like shit.
How do I get over the countless failures? I’ve been chasing the $1,000,000 dream for years.

I am no psychologist but reading your post i really get the impression, that you are just the type of person that should not gamble at all because you don't seem to be able to control your emotions and your desire at all. Of course everyone would like to make the magical 1 Million $ someday be it with gambling with sports betting or with investments. That does not mean though that you need to achieve that 1 M$ withing a single trade or withing a single bet.
If you would add up all betting wins that you temporarily already had, then you would already be pretty close to that magical 1 Million mark. So if you really can not control yourself, then the best would probably be to stop doing what you are doing.

Konrad Laimer's transfer from this year's dfb cup winners rb leipzig to the record champions bayern münchen is now complete. the 26-yo austrian international has signed a contract with bayern until the summer of 2027.
after the relegation of leicester city, there are also some clubs that want to sign James Maddison for the next season. according to english media reports, these are newcastle united and tottenham hotspur - a transfer fee of €45 million is being called up here.

That was a transfer that was probably fixed since many many months but of course they had to wait until the end of the season to really sign the deals and make it official. I am pretty sure, that Julian Nagelsmann really wanted this deal to happen because he coached Laimer before at RB Leipzig. So the situation now is a little bit unlucky.
I still think though that Laimer is a great player. He is very motivated and is always one of the players that is running the biggest distances within a game. I really hope he gets a chance to show his qualities at Bayern Munich too. He really has the quality to help the team in my opinion.
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 09, 2023, 12:18:29 AM
Why do you think that Dortmund has not that chance again to win the German League Title next year.
They getting better and better and every year they getting closer to Bayern Munich, and with Leipzig and Union Berlin there are now 2 more Teams for fight the Title.
Bayern Munich caused the problem themselves with kicking there coach out in an important time they have got a lot of important games.

Of course Borussia Dortmund has the chance again next year again to become Bundesliga Champion, just like every other team of the league has the chance to win it. It is also obvious that for at least 15 teams those chances are only of theoretical nature and i also think that in the next years it will be harder for Dortmund to get a really good chance to win the title. This year Bayern Munich did not play well at all over a pretty long period of time. This happens maybe twice in every ten years so i doubt that this will happen again in the next season.

And the truth is that if Bayern is delivering, then there is nothing that Dortmund or any other club could do to become Bundesliga Champion because Bayern is simply to strong.
I also don't think that Dortmund comes closer and closer in the last few years. Looking at the squads. Bayern is probably more far away in terms of overall quality that they ever were in the last 10 years. Now that Bellingham is gone, there is probably not a single player of Dortmunds squad, that would make it into the starting eleven of Bayern.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin's comeback on: June 09, 2023, 12:11:17 AM
After all Altcoins were troubled recently, Litecoin is gaining more confidence again.
But can Litecoin outperform Bitcoin or is Litecoin dead in your opinion?

I just took a quick look at coinmarketcap and coingecko and to me it looks like that Litecoin took a hit just as big as most other altcoins out there and Litecoin is also not really recovering fast or coming back stronger than all the other altcoins. In terms of outperforming bitcoin. I think that there will definitely be phases over a few days or even a few weeks where Litecoin can outperform bitcoin in terms of gains for example when we get into an alt-season again.
Overall though i think that Litecoin is one of those altcoins from the very first years of cryptos that are still big but slowly but surely losing relevance. Litecoin is just not offering the same amount of functionality that Ethereum for example does.
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 08, 2023, 02:39:20 PM
It is obvious that Bayern Munich dominates in a number of areas including reputation financial resources and infrastructure. The Bundesliga championship however measures actual strength on the pitch which goes beyond having a roster full of illustrious players. Numerous variables must come together for a team to be the strongest over the course of the full season not just for a single game or month. The game mental component and any potential complacency that results from ongoing success can have a big impact. It is usual for a team used to winning to mistakenly let its guard down giving hungry and tenacious teams a chance. Such events occurred during this Bundesliga season but ultimately everyone saw the expected conclusion.

I already said this before, but i really think that the chances of Borussia Dortmund to become Bundesliga champions this year were extremely high and i don't think that they will get such a big chance again in the next 5 years or so. As you already said, Bayern Munich is by far the strongest team of the Bundesliga and if they are able to at  least reach like 85% of their maximum performance level, then they will win the Bundesliga no matter what the other clubs are doing. This year this was not the case and still Dortmund was not able to profit from that. Now Bayern should be alarmed again and take the next season more serious.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 08, 2023, 02:32:20 PM
Yeah, i just feel so disappointed with his decision. He was picking the worst club in MLS. I don't even expect with the come of messi in intermiami will be able to change everything. Intermiami is now placing at the bottom of MLS.
It's a bit make sense if he was moving to the nashvilla or cincinnati but intermiami. What the heck was wrong with him. Im feeling curious what's his main motivation to pick it.

I can imagine that Lionel Messi couldn't care less if he joined a top club from the MLS or a club that is usually at the bottom of the table, because everyone knows that the only reason why he is going to the US now is that he can earn an ridiculous high amount of money now even in comparison to his salary so far. I am pretty sure that Messi does not care if Inter Miami can fight for the title or not because for him that MLS title means nothing anyway because he has won all the really important trophies in the world of football already like the Champions League and also the world cup. He is there to make some huge bank and that's it. I am not a friend of such transfers, but it is what it is.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Are crypto faucets genuine and worth it? on: June 07, 2023, 05:45:55 PM
I recently came across a way to get free cryptocurrencies, which is through crypto faucets.
I'm not that mature in the crypto world but want to own some crypto and start my journey in this space. After so much research, I got to know that there are many websites called crypto faucets which reward users with crypto for performing several tasks on their platform.

In general i would say that faucets are definitely not worth it, at least in my opinion. With most faucets you can usually claim like once per day and every claim is worth only a few cents at max most of the times even only fractions of cents. So you would need to claim from the faucet for probably a few weeks or even months until you have a few dollars on your wallet. If you are coming from a 3rd world country, then this could maybe still be attractive to you, but for the most people i would guess it is just a waste of time.
Of course there is also the possibility, that those coins that you get from a faucet will do a x1000 or even more in a few years so those few cents could be a few hundred dollars then, but that chance is slim to none of course.
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 07, 2023, 05:26:31 PM
After going through many rumors for half a year, Jude Bellingham finally answered that he chose Real Madrid as his new home. An extraordinary transfer fee of around 100 million euros plus add-ons of 30 million euros makes him one of the most expensive young players this season. It seems that Florentino Perez did not hesitate to spend that much for Bellingham from Dortmund and the era of Los Galacticos volume 2 seems to be starting soon since Bellingham's arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu. I think Real Madrid will not sit idly by for all competitions next season and they are also ready to compete with other top European teams.

That 103 Million € as transfer fee seem like a pretty weird number to me, but i guess that Real did not want to pay more than 100 M€ now and that 3 M€ on top are probably a nice bonus that Borussia Dortmund was able to achieve. If Real also needs to pay all add-ons then this would make it a deal that would cost them more than 130 M€ plus the salary of course.
I would guess that a big part of the money that is available for transfers this summer is gone for Real Madrid now. I doubt that they can do another deal of this magnitude (to get Harry Kane for example) if they are not selling one of their own players before. We will see what happens in the next weeks.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In-chain Games on Ethereum: Are They Still Relevant in 2023? on: June 07, 2023, 08:50:46 AM
I'm working on an in-chain game on ethereum, but before I spend more time on it, I would like to get some feedback first, so the game is about creating a town in a country, mining resources, building an army, and invading other towns, creating town shares, collecting taxes, sell it on the marketplace vs ETH, and more.

as a game designer, I can build it myself and I have friends in case I need it backers, in exchange I get loyalty for me and my backers from the marketplace when users exchange resources.
The question I'm asking is, is it worth building?
Do you play a free game on ethereum by paying only transaction fees knowing that you can sell town shares when you reach a certain level?

If i were you, i would switch the blockchain network from Ethereum to something else to be honest. The transaction costs of Ethereum are just way to high and the switch from PoW to PoS also did not change that sadly. At the moment the gas price is very low for Ethereum standards but still a normal transaction costs 1 - 2,5$ and a swap still costs around 8$. Those values can easily be 10x higher when the ETH network is heavily used again.
I would probably switch to BSC or Arbitrum if i were you. The transaction costs are way way lower and therefore you could attract way more people to try your game.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 07, 2023, 08:45:35 AM
If Kane is really brought in by Madrid, maybe this will add to Madrid's attack line even stronger, especially since Benzema is not playing for Madrid so with the addition of attacking players to have even better quality attack lines.
I think for next season, Madrid really needs a change of players in the attack line so that in every game they can provide more scoring opportunities.

For Victor Osimhen, it might be easy for Madrid to take him, but for Mbappe, I'm not sure that Madrid can get this great young player because of course PSG will keep him so he can play for PSG a little longer.

I am not really sure if Harry Kane is really a candidate for Real Madrid. So far i think this are all just rumors. I mean it totally makes sense that Real Madrid is also thinking about Harry Kane because now that Karim Benzema has left the club they need a new number 9 and they also need it pretty fast. Looking at the market there are only a few players that may have the same level as Benzema and Harry Kane is definitely one of those. He is already 29 years old though and it looks like Tottenham wants a lot of money for him. As a club i would rather spend 100 M€ on a player that is 25 years old than on a player that will be 30 in a few weeks.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 06, 2023, 05:42:12 PM
Werder Bremen have had poor results this season and they were only able to finish 13th in the standings. I think after getting back into the bundesliga this season they will be much better but it seems that the results are not always good. As we know, in the 20/21 season Werder Bremen dropped to division 2 of the bundesliga and were only able to return this season in the highest competition of the bundesliga, but were almost in the relegation zone with a difference of 3 points. I think they need to start next season with even more motivation to get to a better place, we know that Werder Bremen were one of the strongest teams in the early 2000s and Miroslav Klose played many seasons at this club.

I think most of the fans of Werder Bremen are aware that the glorious days of Werder from the early 2000's, were they really were a tough contender of Bayern Munich and even managed to win the Bundesliga title, are over for a long time now. I even think that it is extremely unlikely or even impossible, that Werder will be a top 4 club in Germany again within the next 10 years or so. For that to happen they would need a big investor from outside or stuff like that, but given the fact that in Germany the club needs to hold at least 51% of it's shares themself basically means that there won't be a sheikh or oligarch coming in like it happens often in England.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do meme coins have a future? on: June 06, 2023, 05:38:16 PM
I'm new in the crypto space and understanding different crypto projects. While the majority of cryptocurrencies I have studied about have some kind of a solution to the existing problem in Web 3.0, DeFi, etc. Recently, I studied Polygon MATIC, which is solving the problem of high gas fees on the Ethereum-based apps.
In the past few days, PEPE, a new meme coin, has gained massive attention in the community. But I actually didn't understand what could be its major objective. Is there any reason to say this meme coin will work for the betterment of the entire crypto and Web3 realm?
There is another new meme coin called SNEK, based on Cardano. What impact these meme coins will create in the crypto space?
I don't understand why meme coins such as Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and Pepe are so famous and why do people invest in them, wondering about the future of meme coins.

I know that a lot of people are getting aware of the whole crypto market because of the news of tokens like Shiba Inu or more recently PEPE where early investors literally could have made millions with a pretty small investment. So those people here this news and want to do this again obviously, everyone wants to do that.
The sad truth about meme-coins is though that 99,9% of them are dead again within a few days. By some of them you can make a little profit if you buy within the first hours and then sell again a few hours later but with most of them not even that is possible. Projects like Shiba Inu and PEPE only happens like once in every 100.000 meme-coins.
So if you are new to the market i would stick to "real" projects and avoid meme-coins.
