1121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 13, 2022, 03:05:35 PM
Actually there haven't been many very big clubs on the line to sign Cristiano Ronaldo. Of course his incredibly high salary is an important factor for this to happen. But I don't think that it is the only reason for that. Some of those teams just think that they mightn't get efficiency from him much for a long time. They prefer to sign a younger talented striker instead. I wouldn't blame them for that but Ronaldo was impressive last season too.

As far as i know Cristiano Ronaldo is earning around 30 Million € per year AFTER taxes at the moment and Manchester United, which means that he is probably among the fife highest earners in professional football at the moment. I can totally understand that big clubs don't want to pay a transfer fee of around 30 Million € plus an extremely high salary for a player that is still very good, but also 37 years old already. So that money is kinda wasted in my opinion and it just makes way more sense for the clubs to take that amount of money and use it to buy a young player that still has potential to become even better.
1122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance want the best for crypto space on: August 13, 2022, 03:01:58 PM
The binance team have done it again, they have recovered 80% of the lost fund from Curve Finance, the hacker thought no one was watching but he is wrong, every new crypto exchange needs to learn from binance exchange.
https://coinmarketcap.com/alexandria/article/binance-recovers-more-than-80-of-funds-stolen-in-curve-finance-attack

That was definitely a good action by Binance and i hope that the people that were affected by the hack will get their funds back as soon as possible. I don't agree with your headline of this thread though as i think that Binance main motive or goal is not to help every crypto user and investor as good as possible. Their main goal is to make as much money as possible and so far they were extremely successful doing that.
I always find it a little bit worrying when a company becomes to big and powerful within a certain industry. Just take coinmarketcap for example. It was an independent site to track crypto prices until like a year ago or so. Then binance bought it. Now of course it is a tool of Binance to promote their projects and so on.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 12, 2022, 11:56:23 PM
If I have to give credit then I have to give all the Dortmund players today for doing so well in the game to win the game. The coach of Dortmund should also be commended in this regard for being able to provide more quality enthusiasm and direction for each of his players. And the result Dortmund have managed to win the game.
Hopefully Dortmund can be very consistent from the start of this season to the end so they can win another title in the Bundesliga.

Hmm i would say that after their first lucky win against Leverkusen last weekend Dortmund had quite a bit of luck today again. I watched the game and in the first half Freiburg definitely was the better team and they could have even scored a second goal there. They had enough chances to do that. It seems that the coach of Dortmund found the right words during the half time break because in the second half Dortmund definitely made a lot of pressure. Still the defense of Freiburg looked very stable but then sadly the goalkeeper of Freiburg made a huge mistake and basically gave away a free goal to Dortmund. After that Freiburg fell apart.
1124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you think its more healthy for a project on: August 12, 2022, 11:49:45 PM
Most especially new projects do you think its healthy to rush things up or take a lot of time and gradually release updates and follow roadmaps slowly? There are some complains that most projects aren't following the exact timing on their roadmap and some even takes this is Red Flag.

For me a roadmap is a very important piece of information in my decision if i want to invest into a new and upcoming project or not. What i am looking at is, if the goals in the roadmap make sense and if they are achievable in my opinion. I read so many weird and stupid stuff in roadmaps already and this is a red flag for me then. For example if very small projects give the goal of "Q3 2022 listing at Binance or Coinbase". First of all a listing on a exchange is not really a goal of the development team in my opinion and secondly this is a totally unrealistic goal in my opinion too. For me a roadmap needs to make sense.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 12, 2022, 04:10:59 PM
It's going to be an interesting game today. Both Freiburg and Borussia Dortmund started the season with a victory. Borussia took a valuable victory over Bayer Leverkusen, while Freiburg beat Augsburg 4-0 in away game. Today I am also counting on a few goals, so I'm betting over 2.5 goals.

Seems like a reasonable bet to me. We are very early in the season and the defenses of the teams did not have time yet to get used to each other, so it is easily possible that a lot of goals will be scored. On the other hand, Dortmund managed to finish their first game against Leverkusen without any received goals. We will see.
For me Borussia Dortmund is definitely the favorite today, but the chances of Freiburg are not that slim in my opinion to at least get a draw out of this game. They played very well against Augsburg while Dortmund was pretty lucky to win their first match, because Leverkusen would have deserved at least a draw last weekend.
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of most prominent altcoins of the moment on: August 12, 2022, 04:06:23 PM
I have been away from the altcoin market since the beginning of the bear market, but at the moment I have some spear money to fill my altcoin bag and I am looking for the best coin in the market worthy of. my investment at this moment?
Am also looking for a coin that has a good use case and serves as a utility token to a project with a large community of supporters.

I don't know how long you have been away but it would guess that the best coin was Ethereum already when you left and i would also say the best altcoin today is definitely still Ethereum. It also fulfills all your requirements that you have towards a project, it has a huge community, it's utility is amazing because of the smart contract functionality and because of the merge that will probably happen soon, the price development should also be pretty good.
If you don't want to invest into Ethereum, then of course you can also invest into other big altcoins like Cosmos, Polkadot, Cardano or whatever you like. There are a lot of big altcoins out there nowadays. Just stay away from meme-coins.
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [DOTA2] PGL Arlington Major 2022 Prediction Thread on: August 11, 2022, 09:41:48 PM
Also, still can't decide between PSG.LGD and OG. Both are good teams on my book, though PSG.LGD's odds aren't that attractive. I think I'll lean on the over 2.5 maps just to be safe.

Game 3 of PSG.LGD vs OG is running at the moment and it looks like that OG can actually win this one as they have a significant gold lead at the moment. Of course LGD always has the potential to make 1 or two 2 teamfights in a row and to regain the lead in the match. Still it is surprising to me, that OG is able to deliver such a tight and open game against LGD because the chinese team pretty much looked unbeatable so far in this tournament and also in the Riyadh Masters which was only 2 weeks ago or so.
I can also imagine though that PSG.LGD is not really going all out today because the loser is not eliminated but only goes to the lower bracket.
1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Universal Seed Phrase on: August 11, 2022, 09:37:08 PM
Is it possible to use a seed phrase for more than one currency? Specifically a bitcoin seed phrase for Ethereum? The way I intend to do that is by importing the seed words into an ethereum wallet and create addresses based on the Bitcoin seed words.
This may sound unnecessary to many, but will actually have the benefit that there is only one backup to be made and not many different backups.

I don't think that it is possible the way that you are describing it because in the end the seed phrase can not be chosen when you create a wallet but it is presented to you and you need to write it down and never lose it in order to be able to access your funds even if your computer dies or something else happens. So you can not choose the same seed phrase for every wallet.
But of course there is still the possibility to transfer all your funds to a multi currency wallet, like some others in this thread have already mentioned. Examples for such wallets are Exodus or Atomic. If you have everything in one wallet though this also means obviously that if this wallets gets hacked then you lose everything at once.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 11, 2022, 11:18:31 AM
While we discuss the Bundesliga and how it will be this season. It is important that we know that Frankfurt has gone on an unsuccessful super cup challenge this night with Real Madrid,  and the better side (which is) real Madrid ruled the day. Real Madrid became champions of super cup by netting once in both halves. Alaba got the first goal while Real Madrid talisman (Benzema) sealed the winning. The result didn't surprise me as I anticipated the result. It was dawn on me that Madrid will win convincingly, after Frankfurt lost woefully to Bayern in their opening outing of the season.

I watched that match and i think that Frankfurt showed a pretty good performance in my opinion and they can definitely be happy with the way they have played yesterday. They even had the chance to go in front as they had the first big chance but sadly Kamada was not able to make a goal out of his pretty good chance.
Of course it is also true though that it was pretty obvious yesterday that Real Madrid has just a higher individual class then Frankfurt and also way more experience. It looked like that whenever Real Madrid wanted they could create chances and that they never really had problems to defend against the attacks of Frankfurt except for Kamadas chance.
1130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Benjamin Cowan named the four most promising altcoins on: August 11, 2022, 11:12:19 AM
Cryptocurrency analyst Benjamin Cowen stated on the InvestAnswers podcast that the most promising altcoins on the first-level blockchains in this market cycle are Ethereum, Cardano (ADA), Avalanche (AVAX) and Polkadot (DOT).
What do you think about this? Do you agree with his opinion?

First of all i have to say that i have never heard of Benjamin Cowen before, because i stopped following Crypto Experts, analysts, influencer or however you may call them because i made the experience that each and everyone of them is just trying to maximize his own profits by shilling projects to their followerbase that they are already owning themself in order to be able to dump on their followers once they can.
That being said the picks he mentioned above are definitely not wrong i mean those are all big and established projects that will probably do well in the future. That is not that big of a mystery i think. The truth is also, that this projects already made a x100 or even more. So you have to manage your expectations when you invest into this projects.
1131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 10, 2022, 07:46:50 PM
News sources are still claiming that the Bernardo Silva transfer will happen for Barcelona. There are even rumours like both sides are going to agree on a transfer fee worth above £40m. However I think that it will be no more than rumours still. Because Manchester City clearly stated that they had no intention of selling him in the near future. Barcelona just know where to stop as well. They don't need especially Silva now as the current squad is quite capable for achieving their goals.

If Barcelona is also buying Bernardo Silver and paying 40 M pounds for him (48 Million €), then i completely lose the faith in the financial fairplay and of course also in the mental healthiness of the people that are in charge of the financials of FC Barcelona. I just read a report that Lewandowski is still not registered for the LaLiga because Barcelona simply has no money for that and probably needs to sell some of their property, like TV rights or ownership shares of their own TV channel in order to be able to register Lewandowski and still they want to continue to sign new players. Bernado Silva should stay at ManCity there he can at least be sure, that he will receive his salary.
1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good bounty on: August 10, 2022, 07:42:44 PM
I heard that some bounties fail to pay participants at the end of work. Considering this senerio, how can one know which bounty is a good to participate in?

It is definitely true that you can be unlucky and pick a bounty that is not paying you in the end, which means you potentially posted and tweeted for weeks or even months and in the end you get absolutely nothing for it which is extremely annoying. I think you can never be 100% sure that you have picked a good bounty that is reliable but there are definitely some indicators that you can check if the project that is paying for that bounty is legit or not. Check their website, take a look at the team, at the roadmap of the project and read through the whitepaper. If it is just another copy & paste meme-coin with zero usecase then it is probably not worth doing bounty for them because even if you get tokens they won't be worth anything.
1133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 10, 2022, 12:00:38 PM
It makes sense for United to not get Arnautovic, I mean he is 33 years old, if they are going to spend any money on anyone at least make them a younger one, you know? They already have a problem with an older player right now (Ronaldo lol) and they do not need another one for it. They should look for a young talent, I know it's hard but they are out there and they could find it.
At this point even a 19 year old kid would do, they just need money for it and I do not know who they got but they really need more money already, the roster is horrible and getting him wouldn't help them enough, they would need someone fresher to help them out, a Sancho like transfer again.

I also don't think that a player like Arnautovic is the transfer that Manchester United needs now in order to show that they are still a big club and that they want to compete for every big title. Don't get me wrong i think Arnautovic is a great player and i still remember that he was one of the absolute top talents in european football 10 or 12 years ago, but his big problem was that he was just way to arrogant and overconfident. I don't know how it is today but as you already said he is 33 years old now and i don't think that United should go for such players. They need young and promising players in order to build a new squad that reaches it's peak in 2 years or so.
1134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which use case or utility will lead in 2024 or next bull market on: August 10, 2022, 11:35:01 AM
What's the next big utility for 2024/2025? Not hyped based without real use cases though, I am talking about real world use cases that can pump in billions of dollars by that time..

If i had to pick one trend or utility from your list then i would probably go with Web 3.0, simply because all the other stuff that you have linked pretty much already has it's hype cycle completed and is already back in it's normal state, where 95% of the projects that were just hopping on the hype train in order to get easy and quick money are already dead again and only the serious projects are still alive.
I think the hype for Web 3.0 implementations on the blockchain have not yet started and that it could be the next big trend in the crypto space. For example Magic Square recently had a successful seed round with investors like Binance Labs, Kucoin Labs and many other big VC's. It's a Web 3.0 app store.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 10, 2022, 12:53:00 AM
Rumour is Juventus already get Eintracht Frankfurt player Filip Kostic and reported both of teams has been deal and will finished the final detail about this transfer and Juventus have to spend 15 millions euro as a fee but i don't know Kostic is good recruitment or not because as forward player his goals records is not too impressive even last season he only score 4 goals from 31 matches in Bundesliga and i fear this could be panic buying from Juventus because Allegri want this player arrived to Juventus before Serie A matches started

The Kostic deal is already done now as the coach of Eintracht Frankfurt has confirmed this evening during the press conference of the european supercup final that Kostic will leave his club. To be honest i did not expect that Kostic would really leave Eintracht Frankfurt this season. I mean Frankfurt has one of the most loyal and euphoric fans of the planet and Kostic was one of their favorites.
I think this was a good deal by for Juve. Kostic had some impressive performances in the last few seasons and last year he even was awarded the player of the season award in the Europa League, which is not to bad in my opinion. Also he has way more assists than goals.
1136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Millions are still been raised in this bear market on: August 10, 2022, 12:47:24 AM
Bear market is here but new NFT/Metaverse projects are raising millions of funds, I think this is not bad news for the future of crypto and the next bull market might even be bigger than what we've seen before, what do you think? Are you excited for the future of crypto.

I also just saw a news article linked in a telegram group that said that VC's are still heavily investing into cryptocurrencies even now in this bear market. It even says a number and i was surprised that crypto projects were able to raise 30.3 Billion $ in the first half of 2022 even though we are in this bear market. If you think about it, it makes sense though. VC's are investing very early into projects. So it is completely normal if one of those projects takes a year or even longer to get listed from the point of the private sale or seed sale on. So once those projects that are now having their private sales are going live, we could be in a full bull market again.
1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 09, 2022, 10:10:59 AM
That is inseparable from the behavior of those who always make movements contrary to what Bundesliga fans expect. We are waiting for a move from Borussia Dortmund that can improve their performance to break the dominance that has been held by Bayern Munich for a very long time.
I personally have always been disappointed with the movement of Dortmund from year to year.

To be honest i personally think that the difference in terms of the quality of the player squads between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund has probably never been higher in the last 10 years or so then it is in this season. I mean yes, Dortmund made some good transfers with Süle which came from Bayern and also Schlotterbeck. Both of them are very good defenders and should help Dortmund to become more stable in the defense.
Bayern Munich has signed Mane and De Ligt though, those are not just very good players, those are absolute world class players. If i look at the starting eleven of Borussia Dortmund then i only see 1 player with Bellingham that may also be a starting player at Bayern Munich, all the other players are good, but not top level.
1138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy coins at 17k weeks ago could be the best time to buy on: August 09, 2022, 09:56:20 AM
Today BTC moves are more bullish than ever, my chart says we going to 27-28k and many people are waiting for 10k BTC, I think charts don't lie like people do, if a bearish signal is coming your chart will tell you but sitting on your hands and hoping for a satisfying buy price can leave you with many regrets.

I don't really agree here with your statements that charts don't lie. If you follow crypto analysts or just financial analysts in general at social media then you will have everyday a new trend analysis in your feed which tells you that, "a breakup will happen in the next days" or "if the resistance at xx $ holds then it will only go up from that point on" or other statements. Sometimes those predictions become true but i would say that in most of the cases they turn out to be incorrect.
The problem with chart analysis is, that it has the requirement that in the future things are developing the same way like in the past and that is just not true in the real world in many cases.
1139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 07, 2022, 07:48:53 PM
Bayern Munich is unlikely to sell a player who is a mainstay in their squad, so far Leroy Sane's contribution has been very good and he has got a guarantee in the main squad, I think Munich will not sell Sane without any reason. Manchester United's mistake was too slow in the transfer market, so they had difficulty finding players who matched the team's needs. Now Manchester United have to pay dearly for their mistakes with a defeat in the first match, after seeing the results of the Manchester United vs Brighton match it will be very difficult for Ten Hag's team to be able to compete with other big teams this season.

I partly agree with you here. I don't think that he has a guarantee to be in the starting eleven anymore this was already apparent in the first Bundesliga match yesterday where Gnabry, Musiala, Mane and Müller were starting in the offense. I think Sane came in only for the last 25 minutes, so i think he really has to fight now for a position in the starting eleven.
That being said, i am pretty sure he does not want to leave Bayern Munich to go to Manchester United. ManU is just not a really attractive club anymore at the moment for the big stars. They have not qualified for the Champions League which is a big disadvantage if you want to sign new high profile players.
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 07, 2022, 05:10:27 PM
Not a day goes by without new rumors on the transfer market. Timo Werner is said to be about to return to his old club Red Bull Leipzig. He wasn't very successful after moving from RBL, will he find his way back to his old form with his old club?

It seems like Timo Werner is one of those players that needs to feel comfortable and also needs to fell the total support of everyone in the club in order to be able to deliver his best performances and at the moment and also during the whole last season that was just not the case. I think he has a lot of potential as he is extremely fast. A transfer to Red Bull Leipzig could make sense in multiple ways i think. First of all Bayern is trying hard to get Konrad Laimer from Red Bull Leipzig and they will probably have to pay around 20 to 30 Million € for him and them Leipzig could use that money to buy Timo Werner. I don't know if they really need him because they already have Nkunku who is a very similar player but two good strikers are normally never to much.
