1421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Still Have to Buy Anything Using Bitcoin on: September 27, 2017, 06:05:25 AM
I have a confession to make: I still have to buy anything online using my Bitcoin. Of course, I am not including the coins/tokens I bought during their ICOs. Except for that, I have not used my Bitcoin for anything because I am actually treating Bitcoin as a way for me to save rather than a currency to spend.

In other words, I am also a speculator just like most of us here. We want to hold on to the Bitcoin we have as much as possible because even if there are times when Bitcoin can dip in value the overall trend is going up. Right now, there is a retreat in the value of Bitcoin but it is just gathering some inertia before jumping into a higher wall.

Are you a speculator or a spender?
Don't feel bad about it, for starters.

I have bought one thing, about 4 years ago now, online, using Bitcoin. Nowadays I am being more of a speculator and doing the same kinds of things most people are probably doing with their Bitcoin on exchanges, and I am relatively comfortable with that kind of style and performance within the marketplace and community. There isn't really anything that I really want to buy these days, so why not make the most out of what I have available to me?
I suggest the same to everyone. If a person is not in a deadly need of money, he must not waste bitcoins on buying regular stuff that he can buy using fiat also. Bitcoin price will definitely double in a month or two so it is better to hold on this coin for as long as possible. This way, we can get really huge profits and make a luxurious future. However, if someone has no other income source, he must use his bitcoins.
1422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: September 27, 2017, 05:08:26 AM
buy a new lapton just for hold bitcoin wallet. backup wallet file with password then save on 2-3 usb with encrypt password
Buying a whole new laptop and maintain password in two or three USB is little tedious. I think it will be much better if a person shows a little care while dealing with password. Nobody can access your wallet until or unless you don't give away the password. Do not save password on any digital device. Do not go on clicking every link because most of the times this is how our computers get hack.
1423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 24, 2017, 01:05:05 PM
this topic will generate many opinions, but we have our own opinion, I will not receive a bitcoin salary in my regular job
I just think, if bitcoin is at the lowest price then I will loss, spend my valuable time
But if bitcoin with this high price will make us profit
I am agree with you that non professional will refuse to him in bitcoin his salary but I am eagerly waiting for that day but it may be happened when bitcoin become a national currency of a country or it recognized legal currency across the world. Although it is not stable but I would accept and I hope many of my friends would also accept bitcoin payment against his salary.
1424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: September 24, 2017, 12:43:24 PM
Bitcoin is money because it a medium of exchange, we can convert it to fiat currency and trade to other altcoins. Yeah it is money because it has value, and we can use it to purchase products and services online that accepts BTC as payment. We can also put it on as investment to gain profits.
There is no doubt that bitcoin is money because people will not invest in something else. They have invested in bitcoin for a better future and to fulfill all their needs and dreams, and all that will be possible just when someone has a lot of money and the future money is bitcoin that’s why the people all over the world are investing in bitcoin to earn more and more money and become rich in the near future.
1425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: September 24, 2017, 11:39:43 AM
Why would we be dead without China? The fact is that supplying to man ratio would be greatly changed if China were to burn all those going out just fine with the ones of us that have them. If you do not have Bitcoin right now that you probably will see a change in the value that it will make it profitable for you to buy right now
Yes I agree with you, bitcoin will survive without china. The death fear is all about the mining of bitcoin as they hold almost 80 % miners in china but when there is a well there us a hope and the hope is that if china banned mining other people in the world will start as already many other countries have started bitcoin mining. The people are now trustworthy about bitcoin and they will never let it die.
1426  Economy / Marketplace / Re: how earn btc from online??? on: September 24, 2017, 09:50:50 AM
Easiest way for me to earn bitcoin is through signature campaign.. visit the site bitcointalk.org / Do not waste your time log in.. start posting...the time you will rank up into a jr member, enroll on signature campaign. Make a substantial post about 20 posts/week... then they will pay you in btc.
There is no easy way cause even the ones you just called easy will still require some little work from your part. The harder you work, the more you earn therefore effort is needed. However, comparing to the rest of the activities, signature campaigns still has the lowest amount of activity needed to earn something tangible. All you need to do is to add to the forum and earn. Learn and earn!
1427  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: September 24, 2017, 08:04:44 AM
Better or not, at least cryptocurrencies are an alternative. One of its interesting features is that make people more responsible about their money. With crypto you cann´t use your credit card to buy things with money that you will have to return later with interests. With crypto you can have more control of your funds.
Asides having more control over funds, I guess it has opened people's eyes to why saving is better after all. Most times with fiat, we save in banks, they use our cash to trade and we even still get some debits in return. Highest stealing of the highest order.
With crypto on the order hand, at least I know saving my cash gives me the opportunity to make it do better for me and also capitalize on its value increase.
1428  Economy / Economics / Re: China banning bitcoin exchages, good or bad? on: September 24, 2017, 07:37:40 AM
It is obviously bad for a mean time just like what happened these days, bitcoin price in the market has dropped because of the issue but immediately recovers for a few days.
Bad and not bad at the same time. To me, I feel it is a way for us to test the strength of bitcoin with or without a particular strong country trying to use FUD news to manipulate it. The thing is that this kind of decisions by countries and the FUDs caused by it are inevitable but the fact that the impact wasn't too much and it bounced back in no time is what will make most people believe more that the technology is here to stay.
1429  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: September 24, 2017, 06:50:21 AM
I think it is really good that most of the people don't know what is bitcoin. This means that we are among the 1% (not sure about the percentage) of people that have known bitcoin sooner. That time when all of people know what is bitcoin and need that for their life, the price will be much higher than today. So we will be rich.

I think it would be great if people who can invest big amount of money to bitcoin would know about bitcoin and it's potential. It would help bitcoin price to grow, which is good for those who started early in bitcoin. The more people who know about bitcoin the more investors bitcoin has. So, whether only few or many would know about it, I don't care as long as I'm earning.
Thanks for that perfect answer you gave Rozita.
The fact that bitcoin has gotten to this stage today is because we all know about it and what it has to offer and we decided to buy in at any cost. If we had not and no one bothered about it, it might still be hovering around $1 and probably most people would have just dumped the little they have now since there is no prospect and that is if anyone will even be ready to buy.

The more people get to know about bitcoin, the more the demand and the more the value increases, so Rozita may need to have a rethink on that statement.
1430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: September 24, 2017, 04:58:24 AM
i think policies in every country are not the same,  Policy makers from various countries are taking steps to provide individuals and businesses with regulation on how to integrate this new technology with the rules of the formal financial system
Bitcoin is not actually legalized in every country untill now. Yes, bitcoin is legalised in some countries and that countries are the leading users of bitcoins. But even if some countries have not legalised bitcoins, there are many bitcoins users from each country.

Bitcoin is widely spread no and each country have some uses fo bitcoins even if it is not legalised in some countries. Yes, each country has its own policies and its individual rules. Perhaps tht is the reason why bitcoin is not yet used globally.
1431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Do u Like to Bet? on: September 24, 2017, 04:07:06 AM
i mostly bet on soccer and euroleague games because these are the only sports im watching frequently.for me its more easy to predict the winner on thoose games than american sports or horse racing.
I like soccer but I do not bet on it. Personally, I think betting on it will ruin the game. It may increase my interest and thrill in the game but it will also rise up the fear of losing inside me. That is why; I do not like betting on football. However, I love poker and it is very entertaining, at least for me.
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever lose time from work or school due to gambling? on: September 23, 2017, 08:36:11 PM
that's crazy, my friend. School should take precedence if you're still in school and work should take precedence if you're already working. Do not make gambling on top of everything, it's not a good thing, for me gambling is not so good, but if gambling is played until you're off school or working, that's more than bad.
Yeah in life, there must be a balance between hobbies and professional/study life. I mean there must be set priority for everything, where as a student first priority should be studies and the next to anything else. If you just change your priorities a bit and give gambling the highest order of all, then you are in the state of addicted actually.
1433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: lucky ! does it influences by a woman beside of us? on: September 23, 2017, 08:21:54 PM
While you guys are all singing that it's all about luck do you remember the "Predicting octopus" who used to predict things exactly and he even predicted one of the biggest upsets in sports.

I am not saying that everyone has that ability or you will always win when your wife sits near you but actually there are somethings which we human cannot know and there lies no proof. We all ( well mostly ) believe in God while can anyone prove it ?
1434  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Paying with Btcoin on: September 23, 2017, 08:06:49 PM
I would never ever pay with bitcoin right now. It is still at beginning stage and because of its important innovation for the whole financial sector an invest for the future.
I remembered on this thread some years back when bitcoin wasn't really of a much value as it is now and some people who probably have like 50BTC were busy looking for what they can buy with it. Some said, buy yourself some good wears, or buy yourself some pizza blah blahblah. If they bought actually since I have no idea if they did or not, where are those things they have bought with their BTC now? We all know what that would be worth right now.
1435  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading VS Bitcoin! on: September 23, 2017, 07:53:43 PM
Trading is the risky way to earn profit and it's really high. You can lose everything after couple months. Mining is less risky than trading but you need to calculated really exactly to make the profit happen. I know some earn good from mining and some didn't. Trading is not need to calculate but you should have the wide knowledge about all the cryptos you gonna trade or not it's the end of your property.
The most important thing when it comes to mining are your electricity costs, if you do not have access to cheap electricity in your country then you need to forget about mining, this is one of the reasons why mining in China is the best option at the moment, most electrical plants in China use coal, which is a technology that has been tested for a long time and that is cheap.
That is true, anyone considering mining should first consider the electricity rate in their country first. No matter what, you cannot always get your profit immediately in mining at least not in some few years unless with the increase in value of bitcoin that can end up compensating.

It is more of a long term investment and anyone looking for a short term stuff should not bother. To me, unless you just want to mine for hobby sake, it is not really more like it.
1436  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Which is the best way to promote products or links? on: September 23, 2017, 07:18:58 PM
Depends what the product is. Social media is good for a lot of things but not really if you're selling b2b for example. Leaflets good for take aways but not so much for e commerce etc etc
Social media has always been the best way you can use to easily advertise products or links either through paid advert or organic. With some little cash you can easily choose a specific target that will have huge interest on your product and do a sponsored advert and before you know it, be it facebook, instagram or twitter, you will start seeing huge benefits. However, from experience some social media can be more effective than the other, just find which one will work best for you.
1437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For Early Adopter of Bitcoin - Share Your Thought on: September 23, 2017, 06:57:58 PM
For few special individual who have followed Bitcoin much more early than any other Bitcoiners.

Share Your Precious Thought. Shout out your voice!!
As far as I am concerned, we are all still an early adopter. Even though we got in earlier than each other, it is still a good thing that we are all going to reap the future benefit one day. However, it feels good being a part of those who saw the future in Bitcoin and quickly took the opportunity early enough before we started having huge prices these days. At least, no matter what, we have paid our dues and reaping it now.
1438  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: September 23, 2017, 06:08:19 PM
money can make anything, for the moment I prefer finding money for everything. but when I already have a lot of money, I can think of other things without having to constantly look for money in old age.
That is life dude. What is money in your life ? That is nothing but a chance of getting everything in your youth. We all are working for money and have no preference of happiness in our lives.
This weakness will arise when we would be on death bed waiting for death. No value for money, then.
1439  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: September 23, 2017, 05:54:04 PM
Crypto has a lot of advantage than fiat but fiat also has something that crypto doesn't have. Investment on crypto just required an ID and internet. Investment on money need a whole lot of requirement. Transaction on money soesn't have fee but it got tax. Crypto is decemtralized, volatile and unsafe, also unpopular. Money is not convenient.
That is the point. Fiat currency under supervision of banks are being used in businesses and you are only given with a lollypop of some 4-7% monthly. Banks are controlling all the profits and government is sharing with them. So, you are a donkey seeing them being rich and you are enjoying a little percentage.
1440  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe governments can stop bitcoin after all on: September 23, 2017, 05:25:36 PM
This is a serious discussion. I mean, after I've seen how bitcoin (and other cryptos as well) got dumped badly after an irrelevant law that makes ICOs illegal. I can only imagine now what would happen If more countries do the same thing and It could get worst by make itself bitcoin illegal. Whether we like to admit it or not, most of people would sell everything they have once its made illegal, some may continue to fight the central banking but the sad reality is that as soon as people start making profits, they will dump it and move on.
Bitcoin has once been declared illegal once even by china themselves even though they cam out later to say the news wasn't accurate but did that stop bitcoin from thriving ? No!

Most countries are already realizing bitcoin cannot be stopped and almost everyone holding bitcoin today are beginning to realize that news related to such bans are just schemes to make people panic and rather than panicking, they will rather hold than selling.

The truth is that we cannot predict what will happen exactly but from the look of things, bitcoin has passed the stage that any country will wake up one day and start banning. We ourselves as a community can control what happens and it is all in our hands.
