*snip* I spent the last few days evaluating various firmware/hw builds for different chip interface options in order to determine the best. The decision has been made and i now ordered my prototype boards. I'll provide new drawings later so you can design your own cooling solutions.
Does it not say in OP that adequate cooling solution will be provided ? Could you please clarify: it will or will not. i assume he meant this with regard to fans and the like.

It should be fairly simple to swim in bitcoin. Like everything digital it is just a series of 1s and 0s.
So what you do is feed the blockchain to a computer that controls a water pipe that empties into a swimming pool. The computer releases some water every time it encounters a 1 and air every time it sees a 0. Eventually you'd get a pool full of bubbling bitcoins!
hot tub!

we've seen quite a few dectuples already
Many in the last wave of bitcoiners allowed jealousy to blind them and do not see the fact that they are effectively in the same position as the early adopters were in.
i still think that anyone getting in now IS an early adopter...

Sorry guys, it was my fault. I took my 90 Mh/s miner offline for a couple hours for maintenance. Due to the Butterfly Effect we didn't get a block. It is back online now so we should end this block soon. hehehheh. Shortly after this post the block ended. spooky. (cue Twilight Zone theme) bahahah!

yea, i just got two packages returned to me: apparently thy had reused labels. what the fuck indeed. office depot fucked up again.
these are for grimd34th and, yes, aahzmundus! least we know where they are eh?
i'll be RE-shipping these via fedex asap.
You should have just stolen our 1,000 BTC and hightailed it to Mexico. It would have been a lot easier. keep in mind i never GOT the actual BTC - john did. but yea... i get your point. not that i would. i mean, mexico? really? hell no. i'd go to somewhere more northern. i don't like being hot.

fyi, i seem to have switch back to slush's pool after failing over for the last hour or so.
aka: mining seems back up.

wohoo!
hmm... building a combined cooling set up for my two 20 chip boards AND the USB asicminers i've got will be interesting...

welp, i just jumped in for 40 chips with sebastianju. i now join the (insanely long) line of people waiting impatiently for burnin's site.
i really hope he's abel to hire some extra hands or something to assemble all this...

I mean fucking honestly USPS... I could have gotten on a bike and took a small vacation and received my miners faster...
How is it possible to take this long to deliver something?!!!?! Oh and the "tracking info" makes it seem that the package has not even been received by USPS yet... it just says "electronic shipping info received" like it was entered into a system... and just is sitting on some shelf somewhere now... that cant be the case... right?
USPS does suck unfortunately unless you pay for every bell and whistle. Delivery confirmation is not even technically proof of delivery, they call that "signature confirmation." USPS routinely scans the packages at the office as "delivered" and then loads them on the truck for delivery. This means you can have a package marked as delivered but not actually show up until the next day. i've had that happen to me, two days in a row now.... mine officially "got lost" and i've been assigned a case number from the USPS... great ARGH. And still no device in the mail... If it does not come by Friday of this week I am going to have to assume it was lost in the mail, there is NO WAY it could take over 2 weeks to ship right?
definitely not. sounds like it's lost for you too. there was one instance i know of 2 packages of two sent to someone who ordered only two. i assume those are shep's missing pair and have sorted that out. for you guys... uh... well, i have the warranty ones, and my personal 5... 19 total.

he guys. so i'm in the market for a car - currently without one - but don't have a ton of money, just my mining income basically. so i'm wondering if anyone has advice/experience buying really cheap (<2000 USD) cars in the states. names ot avoid, things to look for, red flags. whatever.
thanks!

4 i've replaced as defective on arrival. none that i am aware of have died after initially working.

I've checked where i can, office depot, post office, etc. No sign. Argh.

I have yet to see mine arrive, and am not sure if I should have seen it yet. I am bothered by this, but not to the point of demanding funds back or anything... It just astonishes me that people in Asia and London got their miners, which were shipped AFTER mine... when I live less than 1,000 miles from Arklan. I mean fucking honestly USPS... I could have gotten on a bike and took a small vacation and received my miners faster...

I'm in the exact same position with package status, except I'm in the northeast US. I dropped arklan a note this morning to see what's up. yea... no idea. my only guess is someone, somewhere, fucked up. i'll go and try and figure it out as soon as i can.

btw guys - 4 warranty replacements have gone out, as well as torusjkl's order (finally gave me his address...) and 5 to photon, which apparently accounts for the unexpected five i had. i'm down to 20, with 15 being warranty.
