1481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffett Blasts Bitcoin as 'Gambling Token' as BTC Surges 35% in 30 Days on: April 14, 2023, 02:00:32 AM
Who the fuck cares what Warren Buffet has to say about Bitcoin anyway? And its not like he is saying this for the first time so that we should be surprised.

I am sorry if this is annoying, however, it was news that I wanted to share to show the hypocrisy of a person that many people consider a role model. Read the argument about the news.

In some occasions he might be a good person but to open his mouth again when bitcoin has begun pumping is very head shaking. He is like a friend who tells his other friends not to do something because he does not want to do it.

1483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: April 13, 2023, 05:40:32 AM
And now we can't even say that this rumored fight will happen or not or are they buying again another time, we just don't know for a fact.

The report of this rumored fight now became hyped as it's really going to happen.

But again, sh*t happened and we should not expect this fight to happen at 100% not unless an official announcement will be made.

Save the date, April 22, that's the ETA for the official announcement of this fight.

I have read some articles mentioning that Tank Davis fired Floyd Mayweather as his promoter, however, other articles mention he still is Tank's promoter. Similar to Terence Crawford, there are rumors that imply Mayweather is promoting him for a fight against Spence. I speculate that if Mayweather is really the promoter of Crawford and Tank, I reckon there will certainly be an announcement on April 22. However if not, this might only be another marketing trick for us to watch Tank vs. King Ry hehehhehee.
1484  Economy / Speculation / Re: Countertrading Jim Cramer on Bitcoin on: April 13, 2023, 04:08:35 AM
According to sources, bitcoin is up more than 40% after Jim Cramer declared that he would sell his bitcoin last month. Countertrading Jim Cramer is working hehehehe.

My only wish is he does not declare that he has bought bitcoin until price is on $50k.
1485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Warren Buffett Blasts Bitcoin as 'Gambling Token' as BTC Surges 35% in 30 Days on: April 13, 2023, 03:33:47 AM
Uncle Warren is angry again.

What would be the difference between trading in tradfi and trading in the cryptospace? Nothing except in the cryptospace, small minnows similar to you and me can trade using smaller position sizes and still profit handsomely because the volatility is much higher. On the argument of gambling, I reckon tradfi with futures and options trading is the biggest casino in the world.

Billionaire investor Warren Buffett doubled down on his Bitcoin criticism today, once again suggesting that the asset is nothing more than a get-rich-quick scheme.

In a Wednesday interview with CNBC, the Berkshire Hathaway boss said he didn’t blame people for wanting to get involved in what looks like “easy money.”

And today he continued his critique. “Something like Bitcoin, it’s a gambling token,” he said on CNBC’s Squawk Box. “The urge to participate in something where it looks like easy money is a human instinct which has been unleashed and has always been there.”

He continued: “It’s so human. People love the idea of getting rich quick—I don’t blame them,” before adding that Bitcoin doesn’t have any value but people still want to “play the roulette wheel” by investing in it.

1486  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the Binance the next to bite the dust or FUD? on: April 13, 2023, 02:30:48 AM
CZ did not dump FTT to start a bank run.
I'm not saying he did. But publicly tweeting as he did undoubtedly started the bank run which very quickly led to FTX suspending all withdrawals.

I do not know why there are people taking a side with the regulators.
I wouldn't say people are taking a side with regulators, rather that people simply do not care what happens to Binance. If regulations force Binance out of business, I don't think bitcoin will be any worse off for it.

The bank run on FTX would be occured with or without CZ's actions. We would talking about Justin Sun if he started the bank run. Sam should be blamed.

I do not know why there are people taking a side with the regulators.
Just because regulators are turning a blind eye on many things banks are doing wrong, doesn't mean that we should do the same with Binance or any of the other top exchanges or that we are taking regulators side.

I am Binance user from the late 2017 and since I created an account there I haven't had any issues whatsoever (nor did anyone I know) but I still think that they are doing many things wrong: from anti-Bitcoin stance and creating highly centralized BSC to being incorporated in a shady location that doesn't protects its users and saying that for an average user storing their crypto at exchange is the way to go.

Remember how in Japan FTX had to secure the funds so in case something happens to them people will get their money back? Imagine if Cayman Islands forced FTX to do the same thing. But of course, they registered their company there necause something like that will never be asked from them at those type of locations so they can do whatever they want there.

I was only making an argument on how can we trust the regulators' intentions. It is okay for regulators to turn a blind eye on the corrpution and the regulatory evasion of big banks, however, for Binance it is not okay?

Also, Binance as a CEX is trying to use and work with the decentralization of crypto. Decentralization would certainly be useless if they do not use the advantages it gives them. This will be very head scratching for the regulators and I would certainly want to see CZ win the fight hehehe.
1487  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Exchanges without KYC? on: April 12, 2023, 03:28:06 AM
I've also used them before but, why don't you just use a VPN and access them? But compared to the other instant exchanges, based on my experience the fees that they've got is higher than the others.

Yes. Sideshift.ai is very expensive compared to other alternatives such as FixedFloat and CoinPlaza. It would be an option of a last resort, when all else fails. Despite the fact that instant exchanges are convenient (no KYC), they can easily be shut down by the government due to their centralized nature. That's where atomic swaps come in.

There's an app called AtomicDEX that uses atomic swaps technology for trustless crypto trades. If we had a variety of alternatives, crypto would be truly unstoppable. The only downside is that you cannot buy/sell crypto with Fiat using this innovative tech. Thus, P2P would be the only on/off ramp to/from the crypto/Fiat worlds without the need for KYC. Regulations are getting fierce each day, so only time will tell us the fate of no-KYC exchanges as alternative for those seeking true privacy and anonymity. Just my thoughts Grin

Use DeFi for trading. However, for off ramps and if you have already have made much money in the cryptospace that you would like to convert to the real world, I reckon it would be very difficult to do it without KYC. So it might be a good time to begin developing a system for off ramping to the real world with KYC. For us small minnows it would not be a big problem without it hehe.
1488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 12, 2023, 02:57:19 AM

And it's according to one thread, in this fight, someone will make it official about the Errol Spence vs Bud Crawford fight. So we will see if it is going to happen because that is one of the most anticipated much as well. Just like this fight, two boxers in their prime and both are champions.

They will be making a huge announcement using this fight as many people will be watching. Hopefully, they will announce the undisputed fight between two undefeated champions that we have been waiting for. If they seal that fight, there will be no more speculation that either one of them is trying to evade it.

The boxing industry is getting bored right now, as it feels invaded by this popular YouTuber that want to get in to the pro scene. These (Davis vs Garcia & Spence & Crawford) are the fights that fans really want to watch.

I agree, it was taken by the Paul Brothers and making millions in their exhibition fights. And this should be a challenge for boxing, promoters, networks affiliations and boxers themselves to bring back the glory and make the right fights and not allow politics and corruption to take over in the industry.

So hopefully by April 22, we will now that Errol Spence vs Bud Crawford is officially on the calendar of fights for this year.

We still have Haney and Loma, but we wanted to see more great fights and hoping that everyone involved can deliver it like the Ryan Garcia vs Tank Davis fight.

Is Errol Spence vs. Terence Crawford confirmed for June already? In any case,  you forgot to mention Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue hehe. It will certainly be a fight that might change the super bantamweight division if Inoue gets the WBC and WBO championships.
As of now, that specific bout is not yet sure if it will really materialize even if they will announce it in the Ryan Garcia vs Gervonta Davis fight while the Inoue vs Fulton has been delayed because the Japanese former undisputed champion at 118 was injured recently which resulted into a delay but now they got a new schedule.

Also, did everyone watch how Israel Adesanya knockout Alex Pereira? Izzy pretended to be hurt and caused Pereira to begin to punch and kick which caused him to be open for Adesanya's very quick counter panch. I reckon King Ry can use the same tactic to trick Tank hehe.

That was a sweet revenge and Adesanya surely prepared well to execute and finish Pereira in a much shorter time. But I'm not sure what you mean that Garcia can use a tactic like that because somehow boxing is quite different compared to the UFC.

However, it was Izzy who copied a tactic from boxing called the rope a dope. It was used first by Muhammad Ali when he was fighting George Foreman who was a powerful knockout artist very much similar to Izzy's opponent Alex Pereira.

In any case, okay Terence Crawford vs. Errol Spence is only an extended April Fool's joke hehehe. I will wait for April 22.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: April 12, 2023, 01:31:13 AM
I am also missing football heavily. Can we also have a fantasy baseball league for the next season after the NFL season with a lower fee? This might make waiting for football season much shorter heehhe.

Dang, I think you might be on to something here. We'd have to make a separate thread of course. But I'd be down. We just need to find a platform that will allow us to do an in-season draft as most teams have already played 9 or 10 games. I see there is a Sportsbet-sponsored MLB thread but not many other baseball-related threads outside of that. I'm gonna look into it.

Correct if I am wrong, I remember that @wheelz or @Direwolf created a thread for MLB before. It might be better if we can use it and keep everything within the people who are participating in the league.

Also, I would prefer if we start our MLB league before the 2024 regular season where we can also do the draft from the very beginning.
1490  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽🎮🎲 Coinplay.com | Brand New Crypto Sportsbook & Casino on: April 12, 2023, 12:43:55 AM
@nutildah. They also have many choices for special bets for both the big screen and television. I reckon the most entertaining offering presently is if the domestic opening weekend for The Guardians of the Galaxy in America will be over $136.5 million or not hehehe.

https://coinplay.com/line/tv-games/1033765-special-bets-cinema/166848531-guardians-of-the-galaxy-vol-3-opening-weekend-box-office

I have bet on under on Creed 3 and John Wick 4 because I speculate that the regular movie goers might not be very enthusiastic about spending money to go to the movies because of the higher costs of living caused by inflation. I lost in both of these bets. It appears that I might have underestimated the need for people to escape from reality heheheheh.
1491  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Will the Minning bill passed by Missouri be impactful? on: April 11, 2023, 04:18:49 AM
I was not certain where I should share this article, however, the good news on bitcoin mining in America continues in Arkansas. This new bill will protect miners from being attacked through the use of government regulations and be protected from discriminatory policies.

The skeptical me thinks that some of the backers of these politicians might have invested in bitcoin already.

A new bill aimed at regulating Bitcoin mining in Arkansas has been approved by both the House of Representatives and Senate and is now awaiting Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ signature.

The Arkansas Data Centers Act of 2023 seeks to establish guidelines for Bitcoin miners and protect them from discriminatory regulations and taxes, guaranteeing that firms have the same rights as data centers.

1492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Elizabeth Warren says she’s building an anti-crypto army in new campaign on: April 11, 2023, 03:47:31 AM
Her efforts culminated in December 2022 with the introduction of the Digital Asset Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2022. At the time, the bill was widely criticized both by republicans and fellow democrats, with the broader crypto and tech industries warning about the dangerous implications it could have.

Oh boy looks like she doesn't want to give up. I was so glad last year the bill against crypto both in America and in Europe found no majority. Why can't politicians accept defeat and move on? When already Democrats and Republicans agree together on something there must be really something wrong. I hope that due to the crypto hype over the last two years that there is now a strong majority for people who favor cryptos and don't want to see their use being limited. To a certain extent regulation is important, but over regulating a whole sector will limit it's growth in the future and reduce the incentive for technological advances. Let's make sure that everybody knows the politicians that are against cryptos.

This is why if you are from America living in the state of Massachusetts, please do not vote for her. She will not stop her anti crypto army campaign when she wins and sits in office. Similar to much of the politicians around the world, she is only a puppet controlled by the real rulers of the country. Much of them are located in Wall Street. It is really head shaking that some people force themselves to argue for their side heehhe.
1493  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for April on: April 11, 2023, 02:54:12 AM
It appears the voters for super bullish and super duper bullish might begin to appear in the poll hehehe.

Many short sellers were liquidated yesterday. It might be almost $1 billion in liquidations. Rest in peace to them. Let us wish that they stop underestimating this pump since March 12 and also stop listening to the fud that are being created by mainstream media. It is part of a recent coordinated attack on the cryptospace.

1494  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is the Binance the next to bite the dust or FUD? on: April 11, 2023, 01:17:10 AM
If you were CZ and knew that there was something not good happening in FTX, how would you feel about your investment? It was a business decision. They dumped rather than being left on being the bagholder hehehe.
I mean, I wouldn't be storing large amounts of money in some centralized shitcoin completely under the control of a third party in the first place. But if I was, I would just sell it. I wouldn't feel the need to announce to my millions of Twitter followers "Hey, this is a shitcoin, let's start a bankrun!". CZ clearly had no problem doing that, and that's fine for him, but to then turn round a few months later when someone else calls his centralized shitcoin a shitcoin and call it "very petty fud" is completely hypocritical. Not that I expected any less.

I am not asking about you or what you would do. I am talking about in what set of circumstances CZ was in when the truth about Sam, FTX, Caroline and Alameda was beginning to come out.

Binance was one of the first seed investors in FTX. They were given shares of the company and FTT in exchange for the seed investment. It also appears that you are not trying to understand what occured. CZ did not dump FTT to start a bank run. CZ dumped because he knew the value of FTT would dump once the news begins to be more known to the community. CZ also talked to Sam and warned him to stop what he was doing in FTX and Alameda. However, Sam would not listen.

These unconfirmed rumors were already spreading when I created my FTX might bite the dust thread.

@Z-tight. They want to stop Binance, however, they are not stopping the shady things being done by the big banks. Head shaking. I do not know why there are people taking a side with the regulators.
1495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 10, 2023, 05:41:38 AM
There are no such injuries for Adesanya or whatever if you looked at the fight it was a great fight to watch even Alex Pereira is doing great
No injuries for Adesanya but Pereira had a small finger injury before this fight, this is no excuse for losing this fight.
Oh man I was so wrong about this fight, but I am really happy Adesanya won in this KO fashion and I am 100% sure we are going to see this two guys fight again in future!
I had to rewatch main event again to see how Izzy controlled everything in second round, he lured Pereira and executed a great punch.
There is a lot of talk about future opponents and I see there is chance of getting in higher division for Pereira.
Great sporstmanship showed from both guys during and after fight, so I have to congratulate both of them for performance.
Who is next for Adesanya?

I speculate that there is someone who was watching Adesanya's lure and quick counter tactic and might also use it for his own fight on April 22. His name is Ryan Garcia hehehe. King Ry has a quick left hook that his opponent Tank Davis might not see if Ryan can also lure Tank similarly as Izzy lured Pereira.

@Marykeller. Izzy's level of joy was so very umatched that he fired 3 invisible arrows on Pereira's body while he was knocked out heheheh.

1497  Economy / Speculation / Re: The US government sold 9800 bitcoin on March 14 on: April 10, 2023, 04:10:29 AM
9800 Bitcoins? That’s really very large amount. I guess for that reason the second half of March wasn’t so pleasant as the first half. Bitcoins stuck at 28k usd for few days now. This might be one of the reason for which Bitcoins stopped gaining in price. The coins normally rises when the demand for the coin among the people increases, but we shouldn’t forget that the price also gets hampered when the demand decreases and many people selling more Bitcoins then buying one. But here the government sold 9800 Bitcoins completely at once, therefore shaking the whole market. Still let’s see where the price will go this month.
9800 BTC = 275,000,000 USD (Preev.com as of this writing) which we could say that it is something an amount that could be having some significant red candle on the charts but it would really be just that too useless

because buyers would really be just simply swallow it up, even if they would really be deciding on selling the whole stash then it wont really be that much of an issue about crashing the market.
Seems like US is really that on big crisis which they are really that releasing those coins that they had been holding for so long which do came from confiscation.
Well, lets just see on how it would goes as on the time that it would be happening.

If the American government agency in control of those coins really wanted to get the best price for their sale without dumping on the market, they should put it on auction or for secret bidding.

However, the skeptical me thinks there is someone in charge of the wallet who is smiling because he cannot wait to dump with the whole amount hehehehe.
1498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Elizabeth Warren says she’s building an anti-crypto army in new campaign on: April 10, 2023, 03:15:20 AM
Some may worry about Senator Warren's attempts to regulate the crypto industry, but we should remember that rules can give the industry a sense of stability and legitimacy. By following anti-money laundering regulations, decentralized entities can show their dedication to preventing financial crimes and safeguarding users.

Additionally, these regulations could pave the way for new collaborative possibilities between the government and the crypto industry. By collaborating, we can construct a framework that encourages innovation and expansion while safeguarding citizens from financial crimes.

The evolution and adaptation of the crypto industry in response to changing regulations are exhilarating. As entrepreneurs and businesses continue to innovate, we can anticipate seeing fresh and exciting uses for cryptocurrencies.

It would be very much an ideal set of conditionsif the government regulates the cryptospace to protect the people while also giving us the freedom to invest and use all these different coins and services. However, we should always be skeptical. The government and their agencies have always used regulations to maintain the dominance of the rulers. The cryptospace is giving everyone a chance to rise up against the rulers. They do not want this. They want you where you ar. Poor and trapped.
1499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Elizabeth Warren says she’s building an anti-crypto army in new campaign on: April 09, 2023, 12:30:37 AM
Another reason why the government wants a crackdown on the cryptospace is it might be hard to tax because cryptocoins are easy to move and hide hehe.

The tax is paid on the profit, which means that those who bought Bitcoin and did not sell it have no reason to pay tax, unless there is some country where you have to pay tax just because you own Bitcoin? In addition, everyone who buys Bitcoin through CEX has done KYC and uses their bank accounts for deposits and withdrawals, and then it is up to the state institutions that monitor such things to catch all those who avoid paying taxes.

It is stupid to say that Bitcoin is used by those who want to avoid paying taxes, because in reality nothing can be hidden from the authorities today.

The article also mentioned that the data was from the year 2022. This might also imply that less than 1% of people has made profit for 2022 hehehehe. That might be a more possible occurrence than 99% of people holding their coins after buying.

In any case, if you say nothing can be hidden from the authorities today, what does it imply on mixers?
1500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 08, 2023, 05:51:21 AM
Adesanya was always cautious, he preferred to wait for the right moment and his anthropometry allowed him to have an advantage in his strategy. I don't know if it's possible to say that Pereira knows exactly what he will do, because Adesanya will also want to change something in his strategy so as not to be too predictable for the opponent.
Pereira has a very strong determination and a stamina to support it. He kept his strengths in their last fight, allowed Adesanya to have his feel and exhaust himself before he went all out and won the fight. He can do it again, unless Adesanya keeps the fight leveled without burning out before the last two rounds. Pereira has a strategy to beat Adesanya even though he is less experienced, it worked the first time and I believe he must have perfected it. Pereira will win again and silence Israel Adesanya once and for all.
I feel like Izzy will win. He showed up with a dog collar, did you see that? I think he took it on another level when he said: I’m a dog, it’s a dog collar and I’m about to be unleashed. Izzy had much greater fights, taughter opponents, gained more experience. Also, I think there is too much pressure on Izzy right now, he has no other option but to win. He already exaggerated this pressure when he came with Dog Collar. If he loses, then Alex's fans will call him a puppy dog. I can't imagine how extremely he will be bullied if he loses this fight because he associated himself with dog that wears a collar. He has no other way but just to win, he cut every other way!

So, I bet on Israel Adesanya.

He did not take it on another level, I reckon. If he really wanted to take it on another level, he would walk like a dog and ask his coach put a chain attached to his dog collar to walk him to the stage and bark at uncle Dana and everyone hehehehe. However, I agree with you. I am also with team Izzy.

@YuginKadoya. We have another sexy fighting kitten.
