1481  Other / Meta / Re: BAN ALL SIG CAMPAIGNS on: May 29, 2017, 07:27:08 AM
I feel this is too drastic. One compromise would be for sig campaign managers to implement stricter rules when it comes to posting. Only constructive and sensical posts should be considered eligible for payment.

But I do see the problem with the increase in non-sensical posts. Quite annoying actually.
1482  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do you plan to sell? on: May 28, 2017, 06:59:44 AM
Will only sell when there is another opportunity to make more money (e.g. a dirt-cheap car on sale at local dealer; dirt-cheap house & lot for sale, etc.)

Otherwise, there will always be that opportunity for bitcoin and crypto to grow and increase in value. Don't sell unless you need to.
1483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bubble Bursting or Just a Short Term Correction? on: May 26, 2017, 05:34:34 AM
Lets say it like this: it's definitivly the beginning of the crash

Depends if it can recover and if the prices make new high than you know it will continue, if it fails to break and make new highs but stays stable around current levels I think it will be fine.

For a proper crash it needs to go under $1500-$2k for BTC and $100 for ethereum and $20 for LTC than will know the party is over!!!

No matter what happens new high or not, it is the beginning of the crash. Simply as that there is 0 chance that it will "stay constantly" at this level. Sorry bro thats not how markets work.

This is not any market. This is BITCOIN. $1 to $2700. Grow up and stop being a slave to the man, or you will always be as poor as you are today.
1484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Siacoin dev beats Storj dev in battle of nerds on: May 26, 2017, 04:07:49 AM
Sia is not more advanced than Storj, they are different, each has its strengths and weaknesses. Storj is faster, easier to maintain and scale and easier for individuals and companies to use , Sia is more decentralized, does not have a single point of failure and you could thus argue that Sia is more secure than Storj. Sia is also not dependent on a centralized bridge like is the case with Storj. So different technologies. We will see who comes out on top.

Stengths and weaknesses are discussed in the article. Have you read through all the comments? Storj has more weaknesses than Sia.

If you are too lazy to read (as you apparently seem to be), skip to the comments between Taek and super.
1485  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible big Crash coming within 10 days on: May 25, 2017, 11:58:25 AM
I think and I am predicting that a BIG CRASH is coming within the next 10 days.

Why?
Because there is no investment or asset that can increases itw own prices the way Bitcoin is doing, less than a month ago the price was at 1,300 usd and now is at 2,500 usd this is crazy and it is not possible.

Actually this has happened back in 2013 when the price falt like a rocket been knocked down to the ground.

Actually if you ask any profesional investor in the world what do they think, the will really tell you that it is too beautiful to be truth, and that you should stay away frrom anything that shines like gold, without been gold, because it is 100% that is a ponzi scheme.

So becareful and sell as soon as possible, before the boat sinks.

I hope also will not happen because I also like it, and I am amaze with what have happened, but lets be realistic, is impossible this utopic situation.

Ha! This made me laugh. The poster is a perfect example of a FUD-der and what he wrote is uneducated red-neck bullcrap.

Saving this post for 10 days from now. Bitcoin will still be moon-ing.
1486  Economy / Gambling discussion / From gambling site faucet to cash out? on: May 25, 2017, 11:45:54 AM
Has anyone successfully done this?

I came close to cashing out with primedice faucet money (150 sat) to cash out (400k sat) today but lost everything due to 1 impulsive bet (340k sat at 1.2x chance).
1487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Siacoin dev beats Storj dev in battle of nerds on: May 25, 2017, 11:42:36 AM
Just found an interesting read about SC. I haven't invested in SC but after reading this I am already considering investing big into it.
It could definitely be the next big thing.

Anyway, here is the article. It gets more juicy in the comments when the Storj dev tries to defend Storj but is left speechless by Siacoin's advanced technology. Enjoy!

1488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC/USD price has bounced back while LTC/BTC is still in the dumps? on: May 25, 2017, 10:36:12 AM
because of the direction in which traders are moving, they move in USD market direction.

for markets like litecoin which are huge and listed on major exchanges with the LTC/USD market or genrally LTC/Fiat such as the big 3 Chinese exchanges which only have bitcoin and litecoin and no other altcoin, this thing happens. people inject fiat to buy so the price stays up in the USD or fiat market while it declines because of arbitrage trading in the ltc/btc market.

BTC > up in USD
LTC > wants to stay the same place in USD because of the strong buy support.
if LTC/BTC price stays the same > it becomes expensive because of bitcoin rise
=> people sell litecoin in BTC market so the price goes down there to stay in balance with the USD market of it.

for other markets it usually works the opposite way. since most people are interested in the ALT/BTC market and not so much in the ALT/USD market the price in USD declines and in BTC stays up.
but also most of the times any decline in any of these markets causes a panic sell that crashes the market in general because people only see the drop and don't think about why they just go on a frenzy dumping phase Cheesy

I see your point. Thanks that clears it up.

Makes sense why LTC is still stuck so very low. Bitcoin price is moon-ing.

That last part about the panic selling is just sad tho.
1489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / LTC/USD price has bounced back while LTC/BTC is still in the dumps? on: May 25, 2017, 01:55:04 AM
Was wondering why this sort of thing happens..

As of writing,
LTC/USD is back to $32
LTC/BTC is still at 0.013

Just a few weeks ago,
LTC/USD was at $32
LTC/BTC was at 0.019

This is based on poloniex rates
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: May 24, 2017, 03:39:26 AM
It's not rocket science, it just discipline.

I've learned this the hard way. Simply set a goal. When you win that amount, just stop.
Remember, the house always win in the long run.
1491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: May 24, 2017, 01:44:31 AM
Because of the "house edge" gambling will never be profitable in the long term. The odds are always against the player and based on simple statistics, you will always lose.

The longer you play, the more chances of losing.

I feel short term bets would be better. Bet big, win big.
1492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: May 24, 2017, 12:58:56 AM
It is really stressful to invest (either in crpyto or fiat), especially if you are a day trader.

I've found that one good way to destress is to spend more time "cuddling" with my girlfriend.  Smiley
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digibyte up 1000% of the past month. Why? on: May 23, 2017, 06:56:53 AM
I too am curious about all the digibyte hype. I've read from their website (http://digibyte.co) that they even have something called DigiByte Gaming wherein just simply playing a game like CSGO or WOW will earn you money. This really incentivices gamers but I just cant quite figure out how this plays out and whether if it will be good for the coin. Can they sustainably pay gamers to play?

Great concept tho. Definitely exciting times for DGB.
1494  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to see multiple coins same time easily? on: May 23, 2017, 05:51:12 AM
If you would be interested in a mobile/tablet app, TabTrader is pretty good. It covers multiple (if not all) exchanges and you can change the order of your coin watchlist whichever way you want. You could also actually use it to trade once you connect your account and private keys to it (although i have not trusted it enough to do this myself).

Here is a link to their site: https://tab-trader.com
1495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitstamp adding litecoin on: May 23, 2017, 03:42:20 AM
thats actually another big piece of news for ltc...

seems to be building up steam for the next lift off and i suspect it will be quite a large one when it comes.

i'd second this. will be depositing this month's salary on LTC. with the current prices its at, such a cheap bargain offer ($23 at time of writing).

target estimate price for LTC is $50. For those that are uninformed, just look at litecoin's 2017 roadmap to the moon:

1496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitstamp adding litecoin on: May 22, 2017, 03:53:13 PM
As an owner of LTC, a bet I took a few weeks ago with the Segwit and Lightning networks annoucements, I take it for a great news can I ?
Thanks for the share  ! Smiley
But why bitstamp would prefer ltc to eth ? Why greeting the 5th capitalisation instead of the second one?

I asked myself the same questions and I'm sure various theories will be put forth. I even have my own; but, since all theories in crypto are generally pulled out of thin air I won't make any elite claims.

I'd like to chime in with my opinion which is this is because litecoin tech is simply more advanced. Cheaper and faster transactions than BTC? Like who wouldn't want that?

This is good news for LTC. All it lacks now is mass adoption by businesses. Anyway, with the current price of LTC as of writing, its a good time to buy and stock LTC for the future.
1497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Would you risk 10 BTC at 80% to get a 1.2x payout? on: May 22, 2017, 03:16:36 PM
Would you risk 10 BTC at 80% to get a 1.2x payout? or even at 90% for a 1.1x?

Seems so easy to get a big payout. Just not quite sure if i can push the roll dice button tho.

But the easy money is so..
1498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING NEWS: SegWit by Sept - Buy BTC Now!!! on: May 22, 2017, 03:11:56 PM
Sounds very tempting to buy more BTC now. The chances of BTC tanking are pretty slim right now right?

Seems like such a sure win. Just a bit scared its too good to be true.
1499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [LTC] Litecoin Speculation on: May 22, 2017, 06:54:20 AM
So now the rumor is btc getting segwit. The rumor is the majority of mining pools support it. So if this is the case, what good would LTC be? No testing needed if its a done deal.

BTC/LTC would work together to be the premium currencies. With LN (lightning network) it would be so easy and useful to swap in between the 2 currencies. Not to mention the MAST and smart contracts that are currently being developed. Also, don't forget LTC confirms faster and that fees are way cheaper (that alone lol).

LTC is pretty undervalued at the moment. It is my opinion that it is a good time to buy and profit with LTC.
1500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Steemit.com: Blogging is the new Mining on: May 22, 2017, 06:21:29 AM
I encourage you to try the busy.org platform with your Steemit login/credentials

more infos:
https://busy.org
https://www.steemit.com/@busy.org/

Great find. I find the UI design on busy.org a bit more appealing. It's pretty clean and uncluttered.

I would recommend busy.org as an alternative to steemit main website as well.
