1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: April 25, 2018, 09:53:37 AM
Take a look at ebtc and change (CAG). Rather low supply but nice support and dev.

More risky but worth investing a little (at least I did) are JS Token and HAT. Very low supply so if development gets on the tracks, you'll be happy to have some.
1502  Other / Meta / Re: Where can I find new members to award with merits on: April 24, 2018, 09:49:29 AM
I do not have a lot of sMerit to share, yet even I can't find enough "new" members to reward... The quality of new posters' messages is appalling, either shilling, begging, Engrishing, Marinecoining or spamming. So I've decided to simply reward those who deserve it, no matter what his rank is. If he is a Hero or Legendary member, so be it.
1503  Other / Meta / Re: Is there a way to discover which report was not accurate? on: April 24, 2018, 09:40:29 AM
Interesting topic. I am at 97%.

I also do think having more details would be interesting to get an insight into the point of view of the mods and to understand what they qualify as "reportable".
1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ncash[Nucleus Vision] SCAM? (Twitter screenhots and video) INTEL ANSWER on: April 22, 2018, 09:23:34 PM

We are not saying it is scam but there is a truth Ncash team is lying.

Oh. In that case, could you explain to us why you've put "SCAM?" in the title of this thread of yours?
1505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO is best for investment ? on: April 17, 2018, 05:53:40 PM
Eligma or GIG9

whats make Eligma and GIG9 will be the best ICO for investments mate ?
i would like to heard a reasonable reason from you

https://sprintx.io An ICO Maker with an integrated exchange for Startups
$15 000 000 funded through Private Sale

Eligma will change ecommerce & GIG9 team of Oxfordian's providing local services

Oooooh, who would've thought this was just an ordinary shilling thread... No-one saw that one coming!!

1506  Other / Meta / Re: TMAN'S guide to getting merit. on: April 17, 2018, 12:02:31 PM
In general, it should add value to the forum and solve the issues or query asked by OP.

MANY of these OP's are simply opening new threads to increase their activity and never come back to read the replies.

For instance, this guy: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1991585;sa=showPosts

Every day he posts and changes his favorite ICO list and at the end opens a new thread: Best ICOs at the moment?

You must be sh*tting me.
1507  Other / Meta / Re: TMAN'S guide to getting merit. on: April 17, 2018, 11:49:48 AM
TMAN, you should make it clear to people that spamming in genuine Oxford English is still spamming and won't get you any Merit... Grin
1508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe I give up earning money from ICO on: April 16, 2018, 04:58:34 PM
What happens to you? Can you tell me more? I can give you some solutions?
I invest in an ICO introduced in my country. So I pour my money in this. The leader of this team run away

You have to look at the blockchain solution first. If you get yourself blinded by possible (but not probable) investment opportunities first, you have every reason to hate yourself indeed.
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best ICOs at moment? on: April 16, 2018, 04:53:31 PM
This guy has just been adding several new threads for days now, without ever looking back or participating in the discussion himself, just to increase his activity.

Quit spamming, newbie.

For those who really do care and are not just making some posts to add up to their activity, I made a modest and very small guide for recognizing good ICOs.

You can find it in this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3037655.msg34142055#msg34142055
1510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is doing Airdrop worth it? on: April 16, 2018, 04:47:47 PM
In my experience, 95% of the airdrops are scams. This does not mean worthless, because it seems everything is worth something in this world, as long as you find a fool who's willing to pay for it.

So "WORTH": yes. "VALUABLE" as opposed to useless: no.
1511  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos, why are you hoarding your sMerit? on: April 14, 2018, 04:43:56 PM
This is not a problem with the merit system, this is a problem with the quality of the content and the sockpuppets. For reference: I have around 300 sMerit right now and nobody to give them to, nor do I plan to look through garbage to find someone. I'm still waiting for a destroy merit option.

The pleasure that is brought to me on a daily basis, by seeing the frustration all those spammers and BS posters are experiencing right now, exponentially ranks out my own frustration for remaning at my current level.

That - an sich - is a perfect reason to give the creator of the Merit system a nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize. Cool
1512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin rise on: April 14, 2018, 02:56:37 PM
Bitcoin is now very stabilize, it is good informations, and altcoins can growing thanks this. This is reason why alts growing, so it will stay that as long as bitcoin will be normal
Altcoins start growing because of the increase price for bitcoin. A good hope to have this time and I think were entering a bull market. Though predictions we have but atleast we had a good news for altcoins.
yes this time looking at the market like seeing the good news and the visible green landscape, this proves Bitcoin will recover. because Bitcoin has started back up, this will bring a very good impact to Altcoin, because Altcoin alternative to get Bitcoin. so the good impact of Altcoin also surely goes up like its parent Bitcoin.

I think it's only a temporary pump for now. So prepare for a new correction. The risk is always the same whenever prices raise to fast.

However, I think it's a good confidence boost, since a lot of members were frustrated, thinking the market had fallen asleep...
1513  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: April 14, 2018, 02:48:24 PM
Frankly, 95% of the interesting threads and posts come from 5 star members and those are actually the only sources I really-really have confidence in and have learned the most from.

It's honestly the most (and ONLY) frustrating thing to me about this Merit system: as long as I am "only" a Full Member, I think it will be hard to be respected and taken seriously by other members - even those with lower ranks.
1514  Other / Meta / Re: The reality is 99.9% members can never rank up with the new merit system. on: April 14, 2018, 02:40:17 PM
I can't believe how even in this thread, the amount of bullshit, spam and bad English is so horribly appalling.
1515  Other / Meta / Re: Any advice on how I can earn merit? on: April 14, 2018, 02:35:28 PM
You should utilize the search function, because there are many threads that have already discussed this. It is unhealthy for people to get desperate for merit, because then you start forcing yourself to post the strangest things that are not helpful. You should stop worrying about merit and focus on becoming more informed, helpful, creative and useful. Merits should be of literally no concern to you.

You say that you've been quite active for a long time, but you barely have any posts and just registered 2-months ago. You have not been active for a long time and you barely post anything. If you think 2-months is being around for a long-time, then you are sorely mistaken about the expectations around here.

We’ll that’s the kind of answers you’d expect from someone who is in the comfortable position to sit on a nice stash of merit. From your perspective it is easy to say that someone shouldn’t worry about merit.
I also grant you that I haven’t been around here for a long time, but definitely not that I haven’t been active. That’s definitely not the kind of “advice” I had hoped for....

Two months is a joke man, you really know that yourself don't you? Even before the Merit system, you wouldn't even have been a Senior right now, don't you know how the old system worked?? I am here for 8 months and even that is still a joke. And really, that's not the real point. You also have to post interesting stuff, be helpful and write threads with insight.

If this is too much for you, please get out and start your own forum or so. That's exactly the purpose of the Merit system - get BS posters and spammers out - and I have seen enough bullshit posts in the last 8 months, to fully support this purpose. I propose you support it too, since it's also in your interest, guaranteeing a nice and interesting forum to you and me and everyone else.

Also, for a lot of these beggars, I really wonder what they will do when something really bad happens in their lives, if they can't even live with not having BTCtalk Merits - oh God!
1516  Economy / Speculation / Re: New pump? on: April 14, 2018, 02:04:32 PM
What do you think about yesterday’s pump? Bitcoin grew from 6750 to 8000$ in a few minutes. That’s incredible! Do you think it is a new pump and soon bitcoin will cost 20000$ again?

Yesterday's pump was exciting, it's one of the most refreshing progress in recent months.
I have to admit that it was indeed incredible and accelerating to see Bitcoin jump that much,
I'm pretty sure a lot were monitoring and cashing out a bit from it. That was a pump alright,
a small but significant one. Hopefully a lot more will come.

I think it was a good evolution to finally restore confidence. I must admit that I started to fear that the end of crypto was near... Smiley However, keep in mind that after every pump, a (serious) correction will follow.
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to find good icos? on: April 11, 2018, 05:27:22 PM
Hi, I did a modest attempt to create a - in a nutshell - guide to recognize scams from the real stuff, and maybe this can help you too.

It's here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3037655.msg34142055#msg34142055

Good luck investing!
1518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Marinecoin spam on: April 11, 2018, 05:22:00 PM
Idk if marinecoin is rewarding users for spamming bitcointalk... but that's basically all that is happening.
I am sorry to hear that you feel that Marinecoin posts are spam. Why don't you join the community to find out of it is a legitimate project instead of shitposting like this? The project's ICO is almost entirely an airdrop based on a promotional bounty and managed by Artificial Intelligence (AI). A lot of us in the community are working hard to educate all regarding this and then posts like yours make us sad that people don't make any effort to research and try to be keyboard warriors.

A few points for your consideration:
1. Marinecoin ICO is being managed by an AI engine called Jarvis which makes suggestions to ICO seekers before posting to Bitcointalk. Jarvis then compares the actual posted message with its original suggestion(s) to see if the post merits an airdrop to the participant and accordingly rewards him/her with MTC.
2. Jarvis is currently in its learning phase and hence makes sentence/phrase suggestions that may look spammy and lacking in grammar. Hence, a lot of posts made by certain members may look spammy. Over time as Jarvis learns more, its language will improve and consequently post quality will too. Hope we will then see a change in your attitude. Or not.
3. Many of our Community Members' posts were unfairly deleted probably because some users reported them. One of our community members refers to these users as "bad apples of the tree" and rightly so. Please understand that the project cannot be a scam if there is no ask. The dev never asked for any money from anyone. He has so far been running the project out of his own pocket. And will continue to do so. Nobody needs to pay a single dime for getting the airdrop. All he asks from others is to be a valuable member of the community. You could do this by promoting the project, build DApps on the Marinecoin platform or simply just help others get acquainted with MTC.

If you had time enough to make a post like this, I think you can spare 5 minutes to visit the site and check out the project. Hopefully you'll be impressed. In my experience with MTC, I found that it had lightning fast transactions (just do 1 txn to see for yourself; you'll be blown away), zero fees and does not support miners at all (extremely low mining payoffs). What will it be to make you a believer?

Bla bla bla. How much MTC did you earn now?

1519  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Marinecoin spam on: April 11, 2018, 04:13:11 PM
Idk if marinecoin is rewarding users for spamming bitcointalk... but that's basically all that is happening.

Yes they are rewarding. I subscribed to their Bounty until I saw what you have to do. Spam, basically.
1520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what altcoins can you suggest on: April 11, 2018, 10:29:44 AM
You could've read the 3 million other threads which have already been posted, containing the same question.

So instead of posting my suggestions (once more), if you really care about my opinion, I'll politely suggest you read my older posts.
