1521  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: November 18, 2023, 09:57:26 PM
everyone has the habit of flexing and it is a very difficult thing to get rid of, even I myself sometimes want to show off my winnings when gambling lol, but in the end I avoid doing that. Hiding our gambling activities from the general public is actually a pretty good thing to do, especially since there are still many people out there who view gambling as bad behavior, those who show off their gambling winnings don't know what they are doing, they are just ruining their reputation, if we hide our gambling activities then we will get peace.
Those that are not yet done with the flexing culture, they literally have going to have hard time removing it. We all want to show off and expose our winnings because that's how it should be based on the society that we've been on.

But if we analyze and try to realize things, that shouldn't be done. All of our winnings must be kept a secret and no one should know it unless you are close to someone.

Whether you like flexing or not but if you do, make sure that you're aware of the potential consequences of it.
1522  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Is Better Than Digital Gold on: November 18, 2023, 09:32:05 PM
The only advantage about bitcoin is when you have a good working strategy that will help you to sustain your investment, then you're good to go. You will gain exceptional profits compared to gold and other investments.
That's right about Bitcoin, gains are way higher than of gold.

But about strategies, there's no need to talk about it. You buy Bitcoin and just as what people does with gold, they do nothing and hold it as well. The same goes with Bitcoin.

You hold and let bitcoin work on its own and you wait for the right time to sell and you take the profits.

I think holding bitcoin and gold will not be the same, holding bitcoin will be much more difficult than gold. In addition to risks from the internet such as hackers, the high volatility of bitcoin will also make us easily panic. And that is the main reason why many people cannot keep their bitcoins for long. Many people also have great faith in bitcoin, but when faced with black swans hitting the market, they will dump their bitcoin in panic. So I think, to be able to hold bitcoin until it makes a profit is not easy, it is much more difficult than holding gold. People think holding bitcoin is easy but in reality it is much harder than we think.
Nice point.

There's a difference between holding gold and Bitcoin but you just do the same thing of holding it. So if there are other factors that need to be considered on how we're going to hold it varies.

That's the normal thing in bitcoin that we will face such market drops and pumps and that's part of holding it and someone who's into this for a long time is aware of it and treats it as nothing.

or maybe he don't know how to quote? because it is obvious that he almost posted same as what OP said.
I don't think that he forgot to quote because it's few from the list that OP has given. OP has got 8 on the list he provided while him, he has given 4 from those.

And exactly even with the wrong number because two from that list are both number 4 and yet, he still lists the same so the intention is there for copying it.

1525  Economy / Economics / Re: Imaginary Future on: November 18, 2023, 11:00:56 AM
Do you ever feel like that being after saving or investing for future you forget to live in the present? You don't buy the things you want to or don't go after experiences you want because you'd rather save/invest for future instead.
It's because we're thinking of tomorrow and forgetting the present. This is the delayed gratification that we're having.

We understand that we need to live better tomorrow than of today and we're not just going to live just this day and there's more to come in the future.

If you're fortunate and able to do things that you want today and you're not sacrificing your future and your present life, you're living the life.
1526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The prospect of mixers in a congested mempool on: November 18, 2023, 09:55:15 AM
Good point and nice question. It got me thinking as well. And this time, those that can afford to use mixers at this moment are the ones with huge funds that they have to mix.

They won't mind the fees if they'd do it with thousands worth of transfer that they need to mix and even more than that.

But for small transactions, it's not really recommended at all. So with probable huge amounts, they earn from those while there's not that much volume from them at all ATM.
1527  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Flood the natural disaster on: November 18, 2023, 09:25:10 AM
Flood is natural disaster creates are huge type a problem in a country. Flood create food problem water problem and people faces huge amount of losses they lost their house their savings. Some people those who don't know how to swim the die on the flood water. Some fall into illness through water disease. Flood creates are huge problem of flood area people. They suffer a lot and lost many thing from  life.
There are many problems that flood creates but who creates flood? It is us. Because of the garbages that we're throwing everywhere, the cutting of trees that sucks the excess water in land.

It is because of us.

This is the revenge of nature to us so start out being responsible and start from ourselves, I'm doing my part on that and trying to become a better person. With everyone's contribution and collective little effort that we do, we can make a change.

1529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: November 18, 2023, 04:11:58 AM
Gambling addiction is like a drug, sometimes can even be worst and causes problems to everyone around you. I think there are levels of additcion. Some people cannot function if they dont bet,the addition gets worst when you start borrowing money to gamble. So the saying is true dont gamble with the money you cannot afford to lose. When addition gets serious and like you said you lose a lot of money and you dont have a way out people due suicide and it is important that people go to therapy and try and cure themselfs once things go out of control.
Those that are dealing with it should do it with the aim of not going to the extent that they will have hard. It's hard to get into this situation but when someone wants to quit and they're already addicted, the problem starts from there.

Your mind and heart wants you to quit but then your body just don't follow you. The case here is it should be coordinated with your goal of avoiding in getting addicted.

When you want your body to follow your heart and mind, you have to do it seriously because many of those that says it, don't do it seriously.

It's a fact that we need money to live and the hypocrites that are saying that they don't need money to live then starve until you can no longer it. Because you can't buy food if you don't have money.

@cute nmp, you just copied paste some parts of what OP has said. You are likely to get banned from plagiarism.
1532  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Huge Amount of BTC on: November 17, 2023, 08:40:18 PM
If I am the one that has acquired that much Bitcoin, I've got already plans on how I'm going to sell them eventually.

Regardless of the price, I'd definitely get my money out of it and will do the sell on my own and won't let other people even the internet know that I know this much.

Hmmmm....
1533  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk and others urge AI pause, citing 'risks to society' on: November 17, 2023, 07:38:36 PM
Some playful minds might think that AI and chatgpt will be able to decode the private keys and seeds of other people. If someone who's reading this is thinking like that, you need to give yourself a rest.

When people glorifies a thing too much and to its extent, that becomes unreal and impossible to break the code that expectation of the many.

People should give themselves some rest as well when you're thinking AI can do everything aside from manipulating, generating articles, generating photos and collecting data, etc.
1534  Economy / Economics / Re: The Thailand government will distribute money to its citizens. Economists critic on: November 17, 2023, 06:59:28 PM
There is no doubt people are in need of financial incentives because of the high inflation all over the world but the problem I have with this kind of financial incentive is that most of it goes towards consumption, if the government can find a way to push the funds towards production the positive impact will be greatly felt in the economy but from history especially in countries with high corruption level most of these fund ends up being stolen whereby living the citizen worse off.
Yeah, that's one sad fact about in most countries that does this.

It gives more idea to the corrupt officials on how they're going to corrupt more money from the government and this results to a higher inflation. But it shouldn't only be done through this.

Because when they do give out financial incentives, there has to be some other counter for it to at least slow down the inflation that it will have as an effect.
1535  Other / Off-topic / Re: How has AI affected your job? Positively or negatively? on: November 17, 2023, 06:19:41 PM
It is easy to say that with syntax and code that these AI are helping. Yes, they can produce codes and such but the logical use of it coming from a human coder or programmer is still different from how it goes.

I don't use it that much and if I do, I ask nonsense things that it's just like collectively giving me some search results easily and I find that convenient although it's limited of what it can show compared to Googling things.
1536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever Thought of Giving Back to the Community? on: November 17, 2023, 03:52:56 AM
I may not have much but I'm still able to give back at least with the amount that I can. And how much more if I have got a lot, for the least that I can do will definitely go back to the community.

As long as I can give, I'd definitely do it for so many times and if the situation permits it. But if I can see myself that I need more than what I can help, it's better to give myself first my needs than to give back.

It's not all about how much you can give back but when you're able and it's coming from your heart, whether you've won it from gambling or not. We can do it anytime we want to.
1537  Other / Off-topic / Re: Grand Theft Auto 6 is coming on: November 17, 2023, 01:22:28 AM
missing vice city when i was teen and use to go to play on gaming shops.
The same vibes, when we were kids we go to computer or internet cafes and we play there like just for an hour or two because rent during that time was already high and being a kid, we don't have much money.

Anyway, for those that are missing Vice City, you can purchase it through Rockstar's official website.

--> https://www.rockstargames.com/games/vicecity

Yes, why I am saying to purchase there? Please support the game and company itself because downloading it from the unauthorized websites might even contain you some malware.
1538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: November 16, 2023, 11:44:42 PM
First off what was I gambling for, was it not to win money? And there my luck gives me much amount of money than inhad expected why would I have to put the luck to retest again by persist on playing the game when I can go home quiting for the day. Desiring excessively from gambling you lead you to lose more and more but been contented with each winning gives us a higher winning ratio than losses we make. Except you're gambling for fun and to feel entertained you can continue gambling.
When you are being put into that situation, your perspective and decision changes but if you are firm with that then that's much better as you remember what was the reason why you gambled in the first place.

So if you have already won and you're seeing the money with you.

It's best to just leave and take it out/cash it out with you for your own convenience. Because the usual experience that we see from others is that win and money is being taken back away from you.
1539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What would you tell your younger self to learn this space efficiently? on: November 16, 2023, 11:19:23 PM
Simply don't trade and don't invest into hyping projects. I've learned a lot from those because I thought that I'll make more money with it.

And that basically a combination of what I've learned in the past years of experience of being on this market. You don't have to be too curious with the market and invest here and there.

Bitcoin is more than enough and if you have to add some more, you do it with your spare money so that's my mistake that I have learned.
1540  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do women have more retentive memory than men? on: November 16, 2023, 10:41:34 PM
It's because that most of them are easy to remember things and the stress isn't that much with them. Unlike with men, the stress is on us, we work daily and even overtime to our works and that adds to the stress.

And as result, it goes to affect our brain and we become quick to forget things so it's all about the situation that we're with.

Some women are also quick to forget if they are in the same situation as us like being the breadwinner and having a stressful day in work.
