No, accualy 0 is totally unstable it is maximal undervolt Smiley
7 is no undervolting.
1542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 13, 2017, 02:02:23 AM
Uh guys.
it 3 a.m
Tell me is the problem appeared even with old values like
core 6
mem 8
?

Or is the problem showimg only when you put new values ?
1543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 10:51:06 PM
Ok so taking out the mhz in core and mem fixed the issue, leaving the default to 5 in undervolting.  I went back in and reflashed all cards to be safe also
So you accualy changes something and then booted those rigs ?
Tell me how did you proceed.
What was wrong and how you fixed ?
1544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 10:14:03 PM
I'm already seeing improvements to my rigs!
Here is a very small donation for what is the best crypto-mining management, monitoring system in existence! Based on the your receptiveness and capabilities, tytanick, I imagine it will the best system out there for some time to come, if not forever. Thank you!
Best ? And why not ethos Tongue  ?
1545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 10:12:31 PM
Hey tytanick, I redid my rack a different way today.  After plugging all 3 rigs back in i seem to be getting alot of low memory errors, gpu hangs in opencl.  I have not changed anything with my cards and I am running anoraks OC rom.  It was all working fine before I turned everything off so the only difference is I see I went to 1077 and I see alot of talks about the OC stuff.  Could the voltage be causing problems with my already clocked cards?
I dont think so,
You have in mind RX OS right ?
IF you had old values like dpm level + memory  OC in % then you shoudl be getting exactly the same thing as before update.
The new system is only active when you enter core and memory in MHz so
core: 300-1500
memory: 300-3000
Only then if calues are in this range , the new overclocking system kicks in.

So if you have old values then nothing should changed.
1546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 08:39:43 PM
tytanick,
What program are you using to undervolt offset (112-1150mV) in VBIOS? Is it Poloaris Bios Editor or something else?
HxD Hex Editor
1547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 07:48:38 PM
It could hurt me in the long run if my buyer found out
So just flash back those before you sell.
There are original bioses all areound, also its better to make original yourself.
Anyway hmmm i think user would be happy that gpu works better than normally Cheesy right ?
1548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 07:46:24 PM
no memstrap?!  Shocked
btw@all what are you settings for the best W / Hash ratio? Still experiencing with 1050 gpu and 1850 or 1900 / 1950 mem since my energy price is pretty high
Myself i have memstrap from 1500
then i have 1050/1930-1980
Undervolt offset -112-150mv in VBIOS (i have all gigabyte RX470)

Anyway 1 rig with 6 GPUS x RX470
doing 158.01 MH/s ETC at 750-800 watts from wall

On top of that i belive we can make those gpus running to 29MH+ because of custom timings (not copying from 1500 to above)
Anyway one guy that i wanted to buy this strap for my cards didnt wanted to sell me eventually.
If anybody have custom timing strap for RX470 gpus *hynix) then please write to me at admin@simplemining.net - i could buy it if results will be 29MH+ from my gpus Smiley
1549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 07:41:38 PM
I pm'd and emailed.

Note I have  2 accounts one is just the pandaminer  one is 8 pc's

they uses separate emails.

So far I am in for 0.03121111 btc.  I will send more. Down the road.

note I am sending the coin with my bittrex.com account

It's well worth the btc I sent
Now I dont have to coustom bios anymore
Having to keep up with all the original bios for all the gpus
I have like 6 or 7 different brands all different memory and models
This helps a ton and take a headache away

xleejohnx no, it wont work that way i suppose.
You need to veryfy this. This overclocks a little bit but not too much.
In my case i had to make offset undervolting custom mod + timings ofcourse and on top of this i set undervolt 3 and now its all good.
Anyway this undervolt is not what you think, please verify this.
If you can do the test how much power system takes with stock bios + my "dummy undervolt" VS modded bios + dummy undervolt as well.
In my case i have 2 and they work ok together.
1550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 07:22:09 PM
Weired for my head but I already had the best setting with the old system NOT undervolting my gpus?!?  Huh

I would say this different way:
Previous this dpm was autoselected, now i give user the chice.
What about dpm 2 and 1 ? Freezing your rigs or working and little less wattage ?

EDIT: also 125 watts whole system with one GPU RX470 at 26-27MH/s is very good verult
1551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 05:37:20 PM
Well I canīt see any difference :/ so far

3 / 6 old = 125W for my testrig 1 GPU RX470 - SGminer XMR
1050 / 1850 / 3 = 125W

And yes, BTC adress?
I think you didnt rebooted your today ?
If not then try reboot it first becasue new system of overclocking wont work.
Try setting 1051 1851 and see if it will set those values.
Compare DPM 7 and 3 - is there any difference ?

Accually if you had before:
core dpm 3
memory 8

and now you will write ther same clocks bt in values like
1050/1850 and 3
then the same dpm state is used so it wont do any overclock.
If so, you could try setting dpm 2 instead of 3 and if the rig wont freeze then you should see some results propably.

Tell me your tests.
1552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 05:32:33 PM
What's your btc address I'll help offset that price.

My BTC address is this DONATIONS GOES HERE:
1ERRVbvV23h51ScH73nQr6TDmaieKNuuVD

If anybody will send me some cash, please write me email to admin@simplemining.net with tx info and amount with your email that you are using in simplemining.net .
It would be not so good if you guys send me some cash now and i will implement in some near time fee system, you would pay double, thats why please send me email.

1553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 04:54:56 PM
btw guys you can write old values like

core 5
mem 8
powerlimit dont have usage here

this will also work as old schema because i had to leave for people that wont change values to new and rig will reboot.

or new schema
core 1100
mem 2000
undervolt 4

anyway as old works and new you can compare wattage results and post them here, please do that.

Do you like this update right ? Smiley
This tool costs me 0,15 btc Sad
1554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 04:11:44 PM
test on one. also noye wattage before and after.
1555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 03:30:25 PM
What exacty stand the undervolting values for?
I thought nobody will ask Tongue
Its my idea ov undervolting.
It is DPM level which you want modyfy and set your clocks.
Each dpm has specified voltage so taking lower and lower will result in more less undervolting until it will be unstable.
You can compare wattage you have with the same clocks on dpm 7 and dpm 4.
DPM 3 shoudl also work, meaby 2 too, but 1 and 0 will propably hang/freeze rig Smiley
I myself have in most rigs values of 3 (but i also have offset underfolting in custom bioses)
1556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 03:17:49 PM
With the latest update can you now set specific hashrates with different rates ex 1050,1075,1150
Yes you can do this but accually i am not sure if gpus will be initialized in the same orer after reboot.
I still didnt have time to specify this.
If you will figure out tell me Smiley
anyway you can

Core: 1010,1020,1030
Memory: 2000,2010

When you specify like that then
GPU0 1010/2000
GPU1 1020/2010
GPU2 1030/2010
GPU3 1030/2010
etc
So if there is more gpus than you specified in config then they will use last value.
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 02:27:05 PM
Theoretically Pxe for mass deployment wouldn't be wise at all
But for something small it would be worth having for that moment you forgot to get a hard drive or USB
I can't get the compressed Img of smos to boot.
This is more of less for me to do as a hobby/option for future involvement
I never had a chance to do PXE boot so i really dont know how to do this Sad
1558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 02:19:27 PM
Update v1077:
- in RX OS you can now overclock to specific MHz values (like core: 1055 mem: 1988)
NOTE: you can write new specific MHz values and save it, but after that you need to do one reboot of your rig

- in RX OS added little undervolt option in which you can write values from 0 to 7.
NOTE: Default value is 5 and up to 7 its save. Lower values like 3-4 sould be also stable but 0-2 propably not.
When you will write there lower values your rig can freeze !!! so be advised and test this when you are near rigs !
Also REFRESH dahsboard WEBSITE Tongue

- total restarts count - means how much times does your rig started miner (so how many reboots or reloads)
Soon i will add also "reset counter for all rigs" feature. Now you can monitor how may times does your rigs is restarting and if too much then lower clocks or less undervolting.
1559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: March 12, 2017, 02:07:35 PM
Can you confirm, when the counter starts? During miner's WD process (restart) OR SRR's reboot (OS reboot)?
This adds each time the miner starts so reload and reboot and SRR reboot - all will add +1 to this counter.
I will also make soon button "RESET ALL COUNTERS" - i think this will be usefull and no need to do detained history reboots.

Hi T,
Is it possible to show SRR info, without going to "MORE" menu?
For example, maybe under RIG NAME...
MyRigName
SRR: 1/2

1/2 = srr serial number/slot number
If no SRR, then maybe "SRR: NA" or no display or blank.
This way, at one glance from dashboard, you could see correct SRR info to trigger manual reset on SRR. This could be useful in troubleshooting or testing overclocking.
Thanks
I have plans for making all informations in table but you will be able to select WHICH COLUMNS you want to SHOW/HIDE.
I think its best solution Smiley
So if you will want to search ip addres then you will just need to show ip collumn and then ctrl+f.
And when no needed you can disable this column Smiley

Do you plan to incorporate a watt usage metric on the page?  If not can anyone give a suggestion on best tool to show wattage usage in linux?
Wattage of what ? In OS you cant really know how much does gu takes, those numbers are not right.
Best way is to buy analog watt meter and plug in lone rig to it and do the modifications and check which are best.

Is there any way to fasten konky manager there ready-made modules displaying many necessary parameters?
Can you ask again ? I dont understand this.

Has anyone tried to load this into ram over the network?
I have tftp server running on my network and I can't seem to get this to boot fully into ram
Seems silly to do this with USB prices so low but this is just for funs really
This is idea that i had few months agon.
One PC with PXE boot delivery and each rig with Ethernet boot.
It is more less ok. But...
I resigned this feature becasue lets say we have 1000 PC farm.
After power failure it would take ages to transfer 2GB of data to 1000 rigs Tongue
With 1 Gbit network it would take 20480seconds (5 hours)
with 100 rigs it would be 30 minutes to boot all rigs.
Any thoughts ?
Meaby for small deployments between 10-50 rigs it would make sense but not less becasue extra PC costs, and not more becasue it will eat 1 GBit.s right ?
Anyway i thought about this and i wanted to do this but calculating numbers just discouraged me to do this Smiley
1560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Question to anyone Running Asrock H81 Pro BTC V2 boards on: March 11, 2017, 10:16:15 PM
or you could just simply try my simplemining.net OS which works out of the box Smiley
No dummy plugs needed or any screens connected.
