We will be assembling a test K64 tomorrow.

We really don't know what's happening at Avalon's end. We have not received any communication from Yifu whatsoever.

We are already working on Plan B. Can't reveal anything right now. But will update as soon as we can.

Countdown clock for the "assembled" k64

Assembled in this context means 4 fully populated connected hashing k16 boards.

Expected hashrate should be no less then: 4*16*333~=21GH/s with HW errors less then 5%.

Clock is set to PST, so that no one says they were cheated because of time zones.

While like you, I am no longer a customer, you are still a dipshit.
You have no skin in this game so why do you keep this crap up?

Whats the current status?

How many do you have left and what is the current bid?

Update:

All devices been sold out.

Sold all 6 at BTC43 each good for you.

 Huh Huh Huh

1567  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 60 Gh/s BFL ASIC Single - IN HAND - immediate ship on: August 30, 2013, 02:05:24 AM
at 95 btc it is..75 to 80 is a more reasonable price..

If it makes you feel any better, I paid around 266 BTC for it.

When BTC was how much in USD?

Because I want what you are smoking asking $148 a GH

I can buy those Block Erupter USB things for $75 a GH (that's less than half what you are asking)

How about BTC25? Which is exactly what you paid for it and it's not worth that!

1568  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 3 x BFL Single (180GH/s total) - Auction start at 120BTC on: August 30, 2013, 01:54:15 AM
Starting bid is $80 a GH?

Really?

Buy it now at $100 a GH?

ASIC Blades are $40-50 a GH
Those little Block Erupter USB thingys are $75 a GH

BTC22  each is my offer.

1569  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Which USB hub to use with Block Erupters or K1? A List. on: August 29, 2013, 08:32:29 PM
Update on my cheap 10 port hubs - the DC Barrel plugs melted on the two cables I made (my crap soldering is most likely to blame), so those two hubs now have had a DC Barrel jack-adectomy and now have a power cable soldered directly in place of the jacks.  And some of the USB sockets need re-flowing - intermittent power connections to them.

Sounds like a fire disaster waiting to happen.  Tongue
Have you tried those non-soldering barrel plugs and thicker cables?

+1

Update:

5 Devices been sold out. Only one device is remaining now.

You didn't sell them here. Had to be suckers on Ebay
1571  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] 6x 60 GH/s BFL SC in Hand on: August 28, 2013, 07:56:45 PM
Update:

3 Devices been sold out, only 3 are remaining.

Due to the rise in BTC price, minimum acceptable bid been adjusted to 41 BTC per device including shipment.

hahahah he just raised the price to $81.59 a GH from $80 a GH

When BTC goes to $200 he will lower the price to BTC30

What a guy!

FYI Friedcat just lowered his price on 10Gh blades to the point where you could buy 80gh (104gh overclocked) worth of blades for what this guy is selling 60Gh for and still have 2 or 3 BTC left over.

BTC25-26 is what this is worth today!

1572  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs New 600GH "Mining Card" - RED FLAGS?!?! on: August 28, 2013, 06:28:25 PM
18 USC § 1708 - Theft or receipt of stolen mail matter generally

Felony resulting in 5 years in jail.

If you think a tiny little postal truck full of BFL crap at this late stage of the game is worth 5 years in jail, then I hope to get away with it because 5 years in the Federal pen ain't no tip toe through the tulips.

Unlimited amount of 13.2GH Devices for BTC10.25
Only $92 a Gh

Vs these devices for sale in this thread which are $117.85 a GH

1576  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: August 27, 2013, 06:27:02 PM
Someone (in another thread) contacted that seller and offered to make a 100K piece order if they would send him a picture of a few of the chips taken with a picture of today's newspaper.  They couldn't produce one.

I did that.

They do NOT have any chips, and if they tell you they do, they are lying.

Tell them you want 1000 pieces and want to use Escow, they will tell you that they take Western Union and Bank Transfers only.

1577  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: August 27, 2013, 06:10:14 PM
Except minimum order is 10 pieces and they only have 9 in stock, and they supply them by the ton.  It's just a typical Alibaba phishing expedition.

RIGHT!
1578  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL ASIC mining board project on: August 27, 2013, 02:02:47 PM
[Speculation]
A play on numbers:

BFL has 75 wafers with a maximum yield of 1,100 chips per wafer at nearly perfect yield.

3000 Single SC units will consume: 16 x 3000 = 48,000 chips

3000 Little Single units will consume: 8 x 3000 = 24,000 chips

2000 Jally's units will consume: 2 x 2000 = 4,000 chips

Total tally so far: 76,000 chips required.

Minirigs are not counted. (Minirigs should require 8 x 16 per box = 128 chips...384 per order)

===================

Question, where does BFL get the rest of their chips if wafer yields are 90% or less? Where do the mini rigs get their chips from?

The answer to that question will just anger you further.
1579  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL ASIC mining board project on: August 27, 2013, 12:54:28 PM
The first group buy I placed was on June 26th, so I'm not expecting chips prior to Oct 4th. The first chips are scheduled to be ready mid September though, so if that date is met we could be seeing custom BFL miners ready by the end of September.

Other little bits of news, the production board waiting to be sent off pending production test includes 53.2mm hole spacing, so you can mount (as long as the contact pad is large enough) aftermarket coolers that fit many ATI GPUs. Pics to come soon.

Very nice! And Josh has just announced that their latest batch of chips has arrived, which is "tons", which if it includes the chips for bulk-buys could mean that they're ready even soon than that!

I believe Joshua is having a chip shortage on the production line so don't count your chickens.....

Although there is $$$ in play (the balance of the 50% payment) so he will probably ship them to raw chip orders as that will generate income as making customers who have already paid wait a few more months won't cost him a dime.

Update:

One device been sold out. Only 5 devices are available now.

Sold one for more than BTC43?? Great!!

The offline offer is actually 37 BTC per device: to be shipped in 14 days, which is more like 43 BTC if sold out today.

1 been sold @ 41 btc to be shipped by the weekend.

I can accept lower offers than 43 BTC if the shipment date is in at least one week from today.

Ahh the bid to day price gambit.

Ok I can play. BTC31 shipped in 6.4 days. John K Escrow offer good for 24 hours.

Is this the price is right?  Grin

32BTC escrow through John K.

Hey Joe, he has 6 of them, unless you want all six then lets not cut each others throats.
