There are issues with the board 1, can't really figure out more without more information.  Undecided

Can I use multiple coupons for one machine order?

Nope.

Just one coupon per one machine.

And coupons can't be used for a power supply unit.

Yes. Steven has told that the A841 power efficiency should be even better.  Smiley
1566  Economy / Computer hardware / [sold!] Bitmain Antminer S9 13.5Th/s with the APW3++ 1600W power supply unit on: February 26, 2018, 04:26:21 PM
EDIT2: This now sold to username eissug. Thread locked.

EDIT: This is currently reserved to username eissug.

Hello ladies and gents,
I'm selling one Bitmain Antminer S9 13.5Th/s Bitcoin ASIC miner with the Bitmain APW3++ 1600W power supply included.

Available right now.

This miner has been working stable at 13.8 Th/s hash rate without any issues.

This is the exactly same unit which I did a review about recently, back in January.

Power supply is included.

No cables (power, ethernet..) are included.

The manufacturer warranties for both the miner and power supply are still valid.
The shipping date for the miner was in December 18, 2017.
Bitmain provides a 6-month (180 days) warranty for miners from the shipping date.
This means that the warranty for the miner is valid until June 15, 2018.

The shipping date for the power supply was in December 8, 2017.
Bitmain provides a 12-month (360 days) warranty for power supplies from the shipping date.
This means that the warranty for the power supply is valid until December 2, 2018.

Please look closely to my review thread for more information and pictures showing this unit:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2676763

Price (incl. shipping): 0.27 BTC

Location: Finland (EU area)

No need to pay VAT taxes in the EU area, taxes are already paid in Finland.

You can pay the BTC payment directly to me, or we can use a escrow service (trusted member like philipma1957 or OgNasty for example).
Escrow fee is at buyer's expense.

Not sure if he sends this version with backplane for psus

"We have recently completed development of the 'Power Backplane' which will allow up to 5 x 1200/1500W Common Slot PSU's to be combined into a single power feed.  This is to support up to 16 x P102-100's, or higher wattage GPU's (300W TDP each) once they become available."

What a great idea, I just love HP DPS 1200 PSU's.  Smiley
They're robust and reasonably priced.
1568  Economy / Goods / Re: looking for 18-pin jacks on: February 26, 2018, 02:04:01 PM
They are JST connectors made by J.S.T. Mfg. Co.,Ltd, but till this day I haven't figured out what is the exact model series?

Who did you use for the escrow previously?

There should be no issues with the trusted ones, sounds like you had a deal with bad escrow guy.

I couldn't find a scam accusation thread in your posts.
1571  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: ANTMINER T9+|GTX FTW 1070 | Antminer D3 on: February 25, 2018, 11:37:10 PM
You should accept escrow service, as you are a new member.

Just my 2 cents.

I have now updated the extra chapter 'extra) Testing different voltage offset values and writing down miner performance results'.
This time the test was successful and I got some nice results.  Smiley

Link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2937129.msg30217488#msg30217488

Thanks for your comments lrowland21093 & akadamson!
I posted a note about the voltage offset in the Avalon 8 official specs thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2616205.msg30730555#new).
It looks like the values for voltage offset enter on the CGMiner Configuration page are being ignored and the offset and some other settings are getting applied to the command line of the cgminer.
Try entering a value there other than zero and look in Processes - at the bottom of the list you should see the cgminer command line and it always has offset of 0 hardcoded.  It looks like we can override if we use "More Options" with "--avalon8-voltage-level-offset -2" (figured that out by taking akadamson suggestion and then finding the developer documentation for cgminer on Canaan's github.

For those who don't know or are new to this, the command line options can be found here (just look for the avalon7 options and maybe the options for avalon8 will be similar):  https://github.com/Canaan-Creative/cgminer/blob/master/README

So far it is running around 80% fan speed (it was 100% before) with chip temp at 67 C.  The hash rate is staying between 10.5 -10.8TH - with the offset of 0, it was 11.2-11.5TH.
Overall it is much quieter.

I don't have a way to test the power usage so if someone else does, it would be a good thing to test.

Thanks! This is a good observation.
I feel stupid not checking if it actually applied the changed voltage offset value.
It is so easy to see at the Processes page.

I will re-do this 'extra chapter' I did later on and test it by inserting voltage offset values
from -2 to +1 using the Cgminer command --avalon8-voltage-level-offset -2.

I have also updated the nicely formatted version with all the recent changes.

The nicely formatted version of this review/guide (February 25, 2018 version) is available for download in my Mega cloud.

1573  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Tax and Duty in UK on Antminer on: February 25, 2018, 07:26:42 PM
Simple answer: VAT 20% only.

So, for example if the Antminer costs 1000 GBP including shipping costs , you pay 200 GBP to the UK Customs.
1574  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: February 25, 2018, 02:28:29 PM
First guys to soon receive a Dragonmint unit, please check your machine if we can find out some more information to clear out this 'bermuda triangle' theory.  Cheesy

I highly suspect that Innosilicon hardware is involved in the Dragonmint unit.

Halong Mining Innosilicon DragonMint 16Th/s  ?

Still haven't got any replies from Halong or Inno for my questions about this.

This partnership with Myrig.com is the most positive thing that has happened so far,

but I'm affraid their retail price will be really really high, the same as with the S9 miners.

Some new images are uploaded in the Myrig.com shop.

I managed to find the high-res images, they were 'hidden'.

See this Imgur album for the picture found at DragonMint product page: https://imgur.com/a/WaHLd

We can finally have a slightly little better look at the miner.

For cooling there seems to be two pieces Delta TFC1212DE, front and back, in a push-pull configuration.

And I think I now know why the miner web configuration page was just like with the Innosilicon A5 and A4+.
The DragonMint miner has the exact same controller board.
See it for yourself, here is a picture for comparison: https://i.imgur.com/jxHeSP6.jpg

Also the steel case tube looks a lot like the one Innosilicon uses for the A5 and A4+.

Maybe the Halong Mining actually has a subcontract for these miners to be manufactured by Innosilicon?

And another design comparison here (pay attention to the controller with this image as well): https://i.imgur.com/a9sZcJa.jpg

I surely can't be the only one who sees these similiar design details?

One detail to also pay attention  is that the Innosilicon control board uses reversed PWM signal for the cooling fan control.
This method is not that commonly used.
Delta TFC1212DE are cooling fans that are controlled with a reversed PWM signal.
DragonMint and Innosilicon A4+, A5 miners use these cooling fans.
This detail also supports my theory.

Its not really that much new, it was announced one day later after Bitmain has announce their A3 miner, something seems fishy, like they are trying to compete with them...

I think they have a hidden connection.  And are far more related to each other then we know.

But that is my own conspiracy theory. Grin

Well, to make it more interesting, I bet there is some kind of a triangle connection between Halong-Innosilicon-Bitmain   Cheesy

Gotta love them consiparicy theories.

But seriously, I think Inno is somehow involved in this Dragonmint project.

Kind of a Bermuda Triangle but  based in Asia instead.  Cool
