Obviously you are willing to settle for less than $1250 otherwise you wouldn't be offering it for sale.
but 'settle for less' comes with strings attached. the other aspect to it is timing. faster money is more valuable money. i.e. getting your hands on $400 within the next 10 minutes is probably preferable to getting $600 within 7 days or $900 within a month, or the full $1250 within nobody-really-knows-how-long. i'd also settle for less than i'm currently owed, but that would also come with time-related provisions attached. otherwise i'll just wait it out.

[astarda] kind of reminds me of a tard screaming to his computer when his game wouldn't load. Now where's the video when I needed it?
you mean this one? http://youtube.com/watch?v=1Q4Ut761FQE

To have zero risk from a wallet, can I just not have one?
For example, I can just accept BTC directly into my mtgox account, and if I need to pay someone with BTC, with draw the BTC from my mtgox directly into the other person's wallet/mtgox account. Would this be safe?
no. entrusting all your coins to anyone but yourself is most definitely not 'zero risk'.

To date, I've received 34 btc. I don't want you guys to think I'm doing something improper so if you want me to pay it out based on prop shares of the debt, I will. It works out to about 0.00405011661953442718247681308235 btc per 1 btc owed. So if you're due to receive 100 btc, you'd get .4 btc. Thoughts?
yeah i'd like to see it distributed. thank you!

Seems Richard Stallman is not following bitcoin.
He makes a good point though. It isn't anonymous, because exchanges can track you, and using it through Tor is annoying. plus Tor isn't fool-proof anonymous

Hacked? Did anyone send donation for the lulz?
the fact that you're asking that question is exactly why phishing sites are so successful lucky this isn't a phishing site Sure. It's the human nature the con artists are exploiting. If they are smart enough to con my money, I'm OK with that. That's how you learn. agreed 100%. which is why (off-topic) i won't joining wbx 'victims' in any legal action against andre. or suing anyone else for that matter. p.s. for anyone still not seeing the joke, this is NOT https://glbse.com, which is totally fine and not hacked.

Will I have to pay a higher transaction fee because of that?
No. The accounting entries created by move aren't real Bitcoin transactions. which is what caused me to assume they weren't recorded as transactions at all, but rather some kind of adjustment that overwrote stuff.

Another broker bites the dust:
WorldBitcoinExchange.com (Australia) has suspended trading and is allegedly returning customer funds however we are all still waiting.
How big of an exchange was that? (this is the first I've heard of it) Why is it shutting down/suspending trading? Is it the govt? or is it just incompetent/scammish? it's the incompetent/scammish govt.
|
|
|
It is recorded. You can see them in listtransactions.
oh thanks... i didn't think the move function had anything to do with transactions.

i'm wondering if the jsonrpc command 'move' leaves a history behind somewhere or if opposing moves cancel each other out.
eg. if i did this a million times:
move('alice','bob',25); move('bob','alice',25);
would it cause bloat somewhere? or would each run through the loop cancel out the previous one?

i vote for the wild west option.
