Real Madrid are looking for a replacement after Karim Benzema's departure. Mane and Mbappe are two names that come to mind. Mbappe's contract at PSG continues and she has stated that she does not want to leave the team before the contract expires. We can say that Mane will be the strongest candidate in this case but Mane's advanced age will be negative for Madrid in terms of long-term plans.
Mbappe needs to be convinced and join the Madrid squad this season, otherwise i can say that Madrid will have problems in scoring goals this season. If Mbappe comes to Madrid i think she will set many records. PSG may have a special place for Mbappe but i think she should definitely go to Madrid for her individual success.

Now that Benzema is definitely leaving Real Madrid they definitely need to act now to get a proper replacement for him. As you already said, it looks like Mbappe is definitely not available in this transfer period so Real needs to look somewhere else. I am not really convinced, if Sadio Mane would really be a great replacement though. I mean the situation by Bayern Munich was the same before this season. With Lewandowski a real number 9 has left the club and Bayern tried to compensate that by signing Sadio Mane, who is not a real number 9 but a winger and it turned out that Mane sadly did not perform at all at Munich.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which campaign is better? Bounty campaign or Signature campaign? on: June 06, 2023, 10:12:06 AM
We are a bunch of ambitious folks on a mission to revolutionize the blockchain world. Our goal is to create a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that empowers individuals and organizations like never before. Together, we'll shape the future of blockchain technology!
We're planning a series of marketing activities, and we want your input on bounty campaigns and signature campaigns. Which one gets your heart racing? Which of these two campaigns do you think will work like magic for FireDAO within the Bitcointalk community and beyond? We trust your expertise, and we want our marketing efforts to align with your preferences and expectations.

In my understand a bounty campaign and a signature campaign are not really different things. A signature campaign is just a form of a bounty campaign because you can also do campaigns on twitter, facebook, telegram or wherever you want. That being said if a project is offering multiple campaigns, then the signature campaign here in this forum is usually the one that gives the highest rewards per user because telegram bounties are usually flooded with thousands of participants and on twitter it is similar.
A signature campaign is more work for the participants and should have limited spots in my opinion.
Also you would need to make sure that the bounty is really attractive to participants. Either you are offering USDT, USDC or BTC as a reward or you make sure that you own token will be worth something when the participants are getting their tokens.

Bayern Munich shouldn't limit themselves to a certain price level when it comes to signing a striker this summer. Because the only thing they need is a striker right now. They don't need to make big changes in the team. They already have great players in the squad. But the biggest problem is the lack of a reliable striker. Choupo-Moting can't take them anywhere.
But if they are ready to spend a big deal of money to sign just the striker they would like then this transfer would bring back their old times finally. Vlahovic is surely a candidate but not the only one. As far as I have heard they are after Osimhen as well. Osimhen's cost is much higher than Vlahovic of course. Hence it would make them think twice before going for Osimhen instead. But I believe Vlahovic can also be very useful as he is a really talented scorer. His performance this season shouldn't be misleading.

I personally would like if Bayern Munich would try to sign Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt. He should be in the same price category as Vlahovic i think and i personally would prefer him. He is very fast and is also able to go past a defender and then score. As far as i know SC Napoli is asking more than 100 M€ of fixed transfer fee for Osimhen and that just seems like way to much in my opinion. I mean yes he has played a great season this year but one great season does not mean that he is worth 120 M€ or even more now. I also don't know though if Napoli would Osimhen go even if someone would pay 120 M€. The same is true for Kolo Muani. It seems like Frankfurt wants to hold him at all costs, but if some should really offer 80-100 M€ for him, then i think they would let him go.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 04, 2023, 12:48:01 PM
Union Berlin is a team to consider now. They have improved a lot, even this season if they can consistently maintain their appearance then they are very likely to become champions. It's just very unfortunate when they failed to maintain their condition so that they lost their place at the top of the standings before the first half of the season ended. Now they are in the Champions League to represent the Bundesliga alongside Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Leipzig. But for now I won't say much about what they will be like in the Champions League next season.

Even though i think that Union Berlin is a very likeable club and that they definitely deserved to reach that spot that qualifies for the Champions League in the next season i don't really think that Union Berlin will be successful in the CL and also in the Bundesliga in the next season. This year they just had a historical season and this just happens that often.
Looking at the stats then Union Berlin still is a club from the midfield and to be honest i would be surprised if Union Berlin would finish the next Bundesliga season on a rank that his higher than 7.
To say that Union Berlin is a candidate to become Bundesliga champion in the next years is a very wild prediction and the chances for that are almost 0 in my opinion. It is way more likely that they will have to fight to stay in the league.

BREAKUNG: BENZEMA LEAVES
Benzema officially leaves Real Madrid and official statement few minutes ago confirms this new and it is the decision of both club and player. Source: Fabrizio Romano

I already knew that Big Benz will leave Madrid. It was striking obvious because he has achieved all he needed in Madrid and besides age is no longer by his side and there is an astonish offer for him.
I wish you well Benz, such a dedicated and loyal footballer!

Ok that is a surprise to me. Only yesterday i responded in here to a comment that said that Benzema will stay at Real Madrid and today there is the official news, that Benzema will definitely leave Real. What a turn of events. I just read the official statement from Real Madrid and it looks like that Benzema wanted to leave the club to join a club from Saudi Arabia. So in the end Benzema is also going for the huge salary for a few more years just like Cristiano Ronaldo did. Even though i think that he already has enough money and probably more that he can spend if he does not lose his mind i can also understand of course if he wants to become even more rich.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 03, 2023, 05:20:18 PM
I just want to talk about Dortmund, the team tried impossibly late but failed to secure the title only because they didn't win the last match. It is impossible to say how the next season will be, Bayern will build themselves even stronger for the next season. As such, it remains to be seen what Dortmund do next.

I don't want to sound to negative here, but i really think that Dortmund probably will not get such a big chance to become Bundesliga Champion again in the next 5 or even 10 years. In this year Bayern Munich played an extremely disappointing Bundesliga season for their standards and at the same time Borussia Dortmund won at least 5 games or so where they were not the better team. Both of those pretty unlikely events already came together this year and still Dortmund was not able to become the champion.
Next year Bayern should be stronger again and then there are also RB Leizpig and Bayer Leverkusen and Dortmund will play without Bellingham.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: June 03, 2023, 05:17:03 PM
Guardiola has a vision and mission for the treble winner at the moment they are facing Manchester United and winning in the early minutes, I think if they manage to win the FA of course they will target the UCL later against Intermilan, Manchester city really plays more pressing too seriously so it seems nothing is can stop them.

Guardiola made a good strategy to face every opponent that is in their way to get the treble winner this season, I don't think Intermilan can be seeded against Manchester City even though the Odds for Intermilan are very high and tempting because they have a chance to win because they are playing in the final.

I also think, that if nothing completely crazy and unforeseen is happening in the final of the Champions League, then Manchester City should not have to many problems to finally win this competition after being one of the best teams, if not the best team in the world of football for at least 3 or 4 years now. That being said, it is a final and only one game and there everything is possible. A lucky goal for Inter Milan after a corner or a freekick or something and then the whole game changes.
Also i think that Guardiola sometimes has the tendency to "overcoach" and overcomplicate things in very important games. I hope he just lets his team play as usual, then everything should be fine.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 03, 2023, 03:38:25 AM
Benzema situation seems to have been concluded. Because there is some news has come out on Transfermarkt like he is extending for one more season. I still can't be sure if this is the right thing to do for him. Because he has really achieved everything he can with Real Madrid. Especially the season before this one was like a dream for him. He reached the peak of his career individually. He was such a productive striker which made him win a Ballon d'Or prize later on. Besides he had a huge role in winning the La Liga and Champions League titles in the same season as well.

Now I believe it is absolutely the right time to leave and look for new adventures. Considering how big Al Ittihad's offer was Benzema should have taken the offer and put an end to the speculations in a nice way.

Well if i would have the chance to play another season for Real Madrid, then i would probably also do the same as Benzema and stay there for another year. He still showed good performances even though he is already 35 years old, so why should he not be able to play at the highest level with 36 years. He is a central striker so he was never really running that much and for a striker attributes like intuition and timing are just as important as quickness and Benzema has a lot of that. He can still join Al Ittihad after the end of the next season. Then he is 36 and can still go for the huge salary for at least 2 more seasons.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we just invest in any altcoin? on: June 03, 2023, 03:31:39 AM
I really wants to know from the high members those I think that knows more than me on altcoin. I have came to understand that whenever we are heading close to bull or just say nearly we always have new projects launching on a regular basis to stand a chance to enjoy the bull trend as well I often noticed cmc are being flooded with shitcoins in other for them to attract investors, who will invest in their project to enjoy the full wave of bull market  and after which there comes a delisting of many since they can't afford to meet up the exchange standard. Example of those exchange are Binance, any token or coin that got listed in their exchange without meet up to the standard they quickly gets delisted quickly.
Now my question is, do we just invest an altcoin to take advantage of the opportunity to make some x in return?
Because I know altcoin rarely survive the dip maybe after bull run.

If you are planning to hold the tokens of the altcoin project for a longer time and not just for a few weeks or so, then you definitely should do your research before investing because obviously at the moment 99% of all the altcoins that are launched are stupid and useless meme-coins and those will be dead again withing a few days. Some of them will survive for a few weeks maybe but that's it.
There are also a lot of altcoins out there that have great potential and that are really trying to do something and to offer some functionality to it's users. So if you pick an altcoin from the top 50 that you like, then this project should also have pretty good chances to survive the bear markets too.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 02, 2023, 07:20:51 PM
This is even beyond the financial burden that the club will face. Will Messi be able to deliver as well as he has in the past if he returns to Barcelona? He's becoming older by the day, and his physical strength will steadily deteriorate, resulting in poor performance on the field.
By bringing Messi back now, I'm sure the club and the players will be reliant on him, and if he falls short of their expectations, the club will be devastated. In my opinion, he has served and contributed enough to the club; it is now time to go on and not return to his former team, not even out of pity.

To be honest i am not really sure if the officials of FC Barcelona really want to bring Lionel Messi back to Barca. As you already said, he will turn 36 in a few weeks and he is definitely not in his prime anymore. I recently saw a few videos were it was obvious that in the last season he was still a great player, no doubt about that, but the time where it was pretty much impossible to take the ball away from him or to stop his dribblings seem to be over.
So to player a huge salary, which Lionel Messi would probably still demand, for a player that is not the same anymore is probably not really something that the officials of Barca are so keen to do. They should use this money otherwise and reduce their huge debts.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pancakeswap $CAKE. Why do its price drop a lot after inflation cut proposal? on: June 02, 2023, 07:15:08 PM
Pancakeswap leaders propose cutting CAKE token inflation target to 3% to 5%.
Pancakeswap is one of most common and biggest decentralized exchanges. Its token $CAKE was traded over $40 in DeFi 2.0 hype 3 years ago but now it is less than $2. Weeks ago, I thought price around $5 to $6 would be its bottom price and it will stuck there before a bull run of Bitcoin.
I am shocked when I checked the chart a few days ago and saw its price even fell to about $1.5 before recovering to $1.7.
I believe cutting inflation is a very good tokenomics change and it would have positive impact on $CAKE price.
What happened? What did you know?
Please share.

I don't know the one reason why Cake has fallen to such a low price and i although think that there is not the one single reason why this happened and instead it is a mix of different things. First of all obviously all the projects are going down at the moment not only cake. Of course some projects have lost more than others but overall pretty much every project has lost some value.
Another reason could be the fact that the BNB chain is not the most hyped chain anymore. It seems like Arbitrum took that spot from the BSC chain and obviously cake is also suffering pretty heavily from that fact as it is the biggest DEX on the BSC chain.
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: June 02, 2023, 10:14:39 AM
How this can be a shame for Roma when they lost the game to Sevilla because they had a perfect performance in this game and I think regardless of their own goals Roma could readily even beat Seivvla in this game.
Also, Sevilla is not a weak team and they are known for their performance in Europa League in the previous seasons.

I also agree that it is definitely no shame at all if you are in the final of the UEFA Europa League and then you lose it to FC Sevilla, the club that has won the Europa League more often than any other club. So AS Roma can be pretty proud about how far they have come in this competition. No doubt about that.
I do think though, that the way AS Roma came that far was really really questionable. Especially in the second leg against Leverkusen Rome played a horrible style of football. Not only did they play extremely defensively over the whole 90 minutes they also played very unfair by wasting at least 10 minutes in the second half alone.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to draw the attention of the market if you're a good project?? on: June 02, 2023, 10:11:17 AM
We're proudly to announce that we're officially looking for early contributors to our project.
We've spent almost a year just to design the super economic ecosystem of FireDAO. And now it's finally floating to the surface and ready to show the world what is FireDAO.
As a new project, we're sincerely looking for advice from Bitcointalk Forum community. What is the key of point that you're looking in a project and let us know how to improve better as well.
Please read more information about our project in the link below. Looking forward for more interaction here.  Wink
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5441307.msg62316116#msg62316116

Well first of all i have to say that i definitely noticed your attempts here in this forum to spread your project name here by creating forum threads about a general topic and then adding "by the way i am from the FireDao team, ask questions if you want to know more" or something like that. I mean it was pretty obvious that you created those threads just to share that last line but i think that was a pretty neat idea to promote your project Smiley. I don't really know though how successful this really was.
I am not really an expert, but i would guess that is very hard to get attention to your new and unknown project if you don't onboard a few of those influencers. I dislike them because 99% just want an allocation in the seed or private sale, then they promote it a few times and then they dump the tokens, but i don't know if you can get attention without them.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 01, 2023, 06:43:31 PM
Totally not a fan of relegation. I don't like HSV but I am always rooting for the lower league team in these events.
Relegation in my eyes is so unfair. A team that played shit the whole season can safe it in 2 games while a team that played good the whole season will get punished if they don't deliver in those 2 crucial games.
Also, higher league teams almost always have a bigger budget, that's what makes it even more unfair.
Now I think is the 15th season they are doing this nonsense. And why? So that they can make a little more money with 2 more televised games per league. Bravo.

Yeah i totally agree. If i remember correctly, then there was no relegation games until like 10 years ago or so. Then those games were introduced and it was obvious that the only reason for that was to make a little more money with television rights and other stuff as you already said. I don't have the statistics in my head but i think that so far in most of the cases the team from the first Bundesliga was successful in those games and that is also making totally sense. They usually have the better squad.
The only things that is in favor of the of second Bundesliga is the fact that they are usually having a pretty good momentum because they have played a pretty good season so far.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICP - Good investment? on: June 01, 2023, 06:30:30 PM
ICP reached an all time high of almost £450 in May 2021 but is currently trading at £5.
I understand we are in a bear market but this is a massive drop and wondering if it is worth an investment.
I am not sure if it will get back anywhere near its all time high again but if it was to only get back to £100 that is a 20x from current price.
Is anyone invested or know anything about ICP and if its worth it?

ICP did a pretty huge airdrop back in 2017 or 2018 or so and i think it was back then in may 2021 when those coins became available to everyone that participated. If i remember correctly, then only a small percentage of the airdrop was released at first and the whole rest was vested. That is the reason why the price was so extremely high back in 2021. We were still in the bull market and then this big project with it's massive funding finally became available but only in a very limited amount. With all the subsequent releases of tokens the price went down more and more.
I also don't think that we will see 450$ per ICP again anytime soon.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | SFs on: June 01, 2023, 09:12:15 AM
Unbelievable Sevilla win a record 7th UEFA Europa League title.  Seven out of seven finals in the Europa League incredible. This is just the beauty of football. This was a team that were at the doorstep of relegation some weeks ago. It was because of the redo that Montiel got a second chance. In the first shot Patricio left the line but VAR saw the encroachment allowed the redo and it's a penalty that's worth another major European trophy. Well, I would say that this is one time I commend the VAR. If it were in the past, maybe right now we would have been celebrating Roma.

I watched the game yesterday and i have to say i that as a neutral spectator i was very happy to see that FC Sevilla was able to win this trophy yet again. I just thought that AS Roma did not really deserve to win that trophy after they have played such a horrible style of football in the semi final against Bayer Leverkusen where they not only played extremely defensively. They have also wasted so much time there. That was very unfair and i am happy that such behaviour does not get them the title after all.
Yesterday was probably one of the longest final ever because of so many extra time, even in the overtime.

Well it is not a big surprise that crypto currencies in general and of course especially privacy focused currencies are in the focus of government, authorities and the big banks. Bitcoin was created to give people the opportunity to send and receive money without having any third party like a bank involved and without the governments knowing that you have sent and received money. It is pretty clear that this is a real nightmare for the government and banks and therefore they are introducing laws to fight against such projects.
I don't really think that this is really a danger for the crypto scene as a whole. It is definitely sad for specific projects though.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a Gambler and a Die-Hard Fan of a Club Would you Bet Against your Club on: May 31, 2023, 05:07:17 PM
We are fans of different football clubs, and whenever there is football banter, we never fail to take sides with our respective clubs. We stand by them no matter what because that's what being a fan of a football club is all about - unwavering loyalty. However, not all of our favorite clubs perform well. A typical case study is Chelsea, who have had one of their worst performances this season, currently occupying the 11th position. The challenges they have faced this season are unlike any other. Just last night, they were brutally defeated by Manchester United, who showed them no mercy, to the extent that they didn't even celebrate one of their goals.
As a gambler and a die-hard fan of a club that has been having a terrible season, would you bet against your club, knowing that their loss would be your financial gain? Or would you stay loyal and not bet against them?

I am supporter of a football club but not really a die-hard fan. I am very happy when "my" club wins but it's not like my whole life is about football or something like that. I am not betting regularly, i only bet from time to time when i have some spare funds and i just want to place a bet again. When i bet, then i have no problem to place a bet that is against my team. I even see it as something positive. Let's say my club plays against some other club and i bet that the other club wins. So now i have something to be happy about when my team wins and when my team loses. The only total loss there would be a draw.

Glad to see that ancelotti was aware about the problems that have been facing by real madrid and he has been aiming to rebuild the club again.
Here's some players that already targeted by ancelotti.
Some players that already expected to leave in summer
benzema, Asensio, Mariano diaz
Ancelotti learned a lot from the result of this season. He will not repeat same mistake again.

As far as i know it is almost certain now that Real Madrid will sign Jude Bellingham. This would be a huge transfer for them in my opinion because Bellingham is definitely one of the best defensive midfielders in the world right now and that even though he is only 19 years old. I have read that the fixed transfer fee will be at around 100- to 120 M€ plus possible extras depending on how well Bellingham performs in Madrid.
If this transfer happens, then i think that Real will not make another huge deal this summer. Real Madrid has very high debts already and if they already spent 120 M€ for one player, then there is simply not enough money available to spend another 100 M€ on other players.
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 31, 2023, 10:38:07 AM

Indeed, Leipzig is more promising than Frankfurt in terms of performance and this can be a pretty good reference for those who want to place bets on the DFB Cup final. Maybe Frankfurt was lucky enough to beat Freiburg in the last weekend of the bundesliga yesterday, but that still hasn't proven its capacity to beat Leipzig.

Especially if we look at the odds offered by the bookie, it's quite clear that Leipzig is favored to win with odds @1.73 and for Frankfurt to get odds @4.30, it's clear that the difference is very big, so I don't think there's anything wrong with betting on a team that will clearly win the DFB Cups this season.

RB Leipzig definitely is the favorite in the final of the DFB cup against Eintracht Frankfurt. That being said, i don't think that the chances of Frankfurt to win the cup are that small to be honest. First of all it is a final and in 90 minutes everything can happen. An early goal for Frankfurt would change the whole game. Also Frankfurt has proven multiple times now that they are able to beat better team in cups. They did this last year against FC Barcelona in the Europa League and they have also won the DFB cup against Bayern Munich a few years ago.
It is also the last game for Frankfurt with their coach, so this could give another boost for the players i can imagine.
