1161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: August 01, 2022, 12:19:06 PM
Congratulations on England's victory.
They really made history and finally got their first Women's Euro, despite the two previous attempts.
England is one of the countries that has invested the most in this sport, and so all that effort is now starting to pay off. I think they will continue on this good path, and be very competitive in the World Cup.

I did not watch the match live because there were some mens football matches of the first round of the german national cup running and i still prefer to watch mens football over womens football because it is just way faster and more intense. That being said, the overall quality of womens football has definitely increased over the last few years.
I watched part of the match today and i have to say that England deserved to win that trophy but Germany was also pretty unlucky in my opinion. First their best player Popp could not participate in the final, then they don't get a penalty after a clear handball of England and then towards the end the english team was wasting time like crazy but the Ref did not take that into account at all.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing Potential projects on: August 01, 2022, 12:14:17 PM
As we all are seeing the launching of new projects one after one. So, one should take care of many things before investing. How to know the real potential of these new projects?

Well i would say that at the moment it is relatively quiet and slow with the launches of new crypto projects, which is not really a surprise because we are in a bear market and there in general small and new project are doing way worse than big and established projects. And new projects that have not even launched yet are having an even harder time at the moment because the interest of people into investing in such projects is just extremely low usually.
If you still want to invest into a new project then you should check the whitepaper, the team, the roadmap if it makes sense and of course also the tokenomics. How many token does the team get how long is the vesting and so on. Even the best project can fail if the tokenomics suck.

They have lost Lewandovsky but there was not much to see in the match against RB Leipzig. They in turn lost Brian Brobbey to Ajax. If RB Leipzig already lose 1-4 to Bayern Munich at home, who could beat Bayern? I don't think Dortmund has a chance against Bayern Munich either. First Haaland gone, and now Haaler can't play for a while either. He has other things on his mind than playing football. Bayern could very well walk away from the competition and then it has already been decided by the time of the competition. It will be especially exciting for 2nd place.

I also watched the match and i have to say that Bayern looked quite strong in some parts but also a little shaky at the same time. The whole offense did work surprisingly well for me and i have to say, that at least in yesterdays game it was not obvious that Lewandowski was missing because Müller, Mane, and Gnabry made a great game.
At the same time, the defense look just as shaky as it was in the last season. Of course De Ligt needs a little more time to get used to Bayern and the way that they are playing.
1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 31, 2022, 04:41:46 PM
And there was the win for Verstappen. Unbelievable how he managed that. He started this race with a new bike, but it turned out to be a very strong bike. Leclerc and Sainz ultimately had no chance of the overall victory. There is no size on Verstappen, he has really won many times this season, but he can frame today's. He had to overtake a lot of people and in fact it is a miracle that he did not crash somewhere. We get a simple victory in the world championship with Verstappen this season, it will never be as exciting as last year. It was a very nice ride to watch today.

I had to stop watching the race after like 1/3 of the laps done and there Verstappen was on 4th or 5th place and he did not really look faster than the two Ferraris or even the two Mercedes, so i was very surprised when i saw the result and that Verstappen somehow managed to win that race again. Now i watched the race highlights and i still don't really see a reason why he won but ok. What is really strange to me is the fact that suddenly both Ferraris became so slow in the second part of the race. Especially Leclerc could not keep up with the Red Bull and the Mercedes anymore once he had the hard tyres on. Very weird.
1165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will the next Bull run look like? on: July 31, 2022, 04:20:38 PM
Unfortunately,
I join the crypto community at the beginning of the end of the last bull run. I invested heavily quickly and I watched my portfolio dwindle down to the ranges we see today.
I don't regret what I did because it taught me a lot of valuable lessons along the way. I never sold and continued to invest , I now focus on DCA every month.
Realistically, what will the next bull run look like?

First of all i think it is great that you apparently followed one of the most important advices if not the single most important advice if you are planning to invest into the crypto market: Never invest more, than you can afford to lose. If this would not be the case then you would now be full of regrets and maybe you even had to sell now with a big loss. Even though you are now probably very deep in the negative numbers in terms of profit that does not mean anything because the loss only becomes real once you have sold.
Regarding what the next bullrun looks like? No one really knows i guess. So far i experienced the bullrun of 2018 and the one of 2020 to 2021 and i would say both of them were very different, so i would guess that maybe the next bullrun will start also out of the blue and will not behave like the last ones.
1166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 31, 2022, 12:15:42 AM
Obviously in any match for Bayern Munich is involved and their opponent is rather less known, Bayern Munich is obviously going to be thought of as the winner of that match. And this was obviously not an easy match for Bayern Munich because we have seen them playing a little rusty at the start of each season.

Well it is definitely true that Bayern is usually always the favorite when they are playing in of the national cups as they are simply the strongest team in Germany, but that is of course also true for most matches in the champions league because there are only a handful of clubs that are as strong as Bayern or even stronger than them.
That being said, i don't think that RB Leizpig is a less known team, not in europe and definitely not in Germany. They have won the DFB cup last year and for me they have a squad which is even stronger than the one of Borussia Dortmund. So i would not be surprised if Leipzig would finish this Bundesliga season in a higher rank than Dortmund.
1167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu Long-Term Holders Are Increasing as Investors Shift Focus on: July 31, 2022, 12:04:30 AM
In mid-June, U.Today reported the percentage of Shiba Inu's long-term holders as 19%, while that of midterm holders was then 77%, only 3% held onto their tokens for less than a month at the time. Back in late December 2021, it was reported that Shiba Inu holders were largely short and midterm holders, with the percentage of each category given as 14% and 86%, respectively. At that point, the percentage of long-term holders, or those that have held for more than a year, was zero. Fast forward to now, and the Shiba Inu holders' composition has shifted dramatically, with long-term owners now outnumbering short-term owners. This might imply a shift in investor focus from a short-term view to a long-term one. This comes as the crypto markets entered into a "bearish phase" or "crypto winter’’, in which altcoins saw between 70%-80% of their present peaks wiped off.

Well that news is not really a surprise because the price of Shiba Inu is falling for weeks and months now and of course people don't want to sell below the price that they have paid to get Shiba Inu. Also it is pretty obvious that back in the December of 2021 there were no holder that held Shiba Inu for more than 1 year because obviously Shiba Inu did not even exist a for a full year back then lul.
So i really don't think that the statistics you posted above are a positive indicator for Shiba Inu. This news sounds more like it is written by a Shiba Inu holder itself that is very high on copium. I think the longterm trend for Shiba Inu goes downwards.
1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 30, 2022, 12:12:56 PM
since there were no surprises in the dfb cup yesterday and all the favorites won their games, it is quite possible that we will see one or the other club from the 1/2 bundesliga eliminated against a supposedly weaker opponent today
regensburg vs. köln
bayreuth vs hamburg
would be so 2 candidates where i could well imagine that here the favorite in this round is eliminated

I definitely agree that there is definitely the potential for a win of the underdog in the match between Regensburg and Köln because Regensburg simply has the big advantage, that they already had 2 "real" games already in this season and in this two games they showed a great performance and they are on top of the table in the second Bundesliga at the moment. For Köln it is the first match though and no one really knows in what shape they are, so i think Regensburg has a pretty big chance to win this one.
I don't really see that happening in the match between Bayreuth and Hamburg though, as both teams already have started their season and i think the quality in the squad of Hamburg is just way way higher.
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATH for ETH on: July 30, 2022, 12:08:02 PM
As all are speculating the merge for ETH, are we gonna see ATH for ETH in the crypto market? Thoughts?

My general take on Ethereum has always been that it probably is just as important for the whole cryptomarket and its evolution and development as Bitcoin itself. Of course Bitcoin basically created the whole crypto space because before Bitcoin there simply were not cryptocurrencies existent. Ethereum has brought a whole new dimension of opportunities and possibilities to the crypto market though with the introduction of the smart contracts. Without them we would not have Dexes, no tokens, no Defi and no NFT's.
I doubt though that we will see a new ATH for Ethereum anytime soon, because the whole market is just still to shaky for that to happen in my opinion.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 29, 2022, 07:07:56 PM
DFB Pocal match 1860 Munich vs Dortmund and both of teams last met happened on 2016 with Dortmund as the winner and statistics head to head too showed Dortmund is too strong for 1860 Munich but Dortmund currently had some issue especially after Haaland leaving this team they don't have real striker even Dortmund pre season matches also don't really good with several times get lose result but regardless of their statistics clearly Dortmund is the favourite and i want to see whether they can beat their opponent or not

The match has started and after 10 minutes it is already 1-0 for Dortmund. Before the match started i thought, that there is a small but a existing chance for 1860 Munich to be victorious in this match-up because it is the first real game for Dortmund this season and 1860 already had a match in the third league before. For a win of 1860 everything needs to be in their favor like a very lucky goal for them and Dortmund being very inefficient with their chances, now that Dortmund already scored i think it is safe to say that there is almost zero possibility for 1860 to come back into the match. If Dortmund does not score a second goal in the first half then maybe something can happen in the second half for 1860.
1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 29, 2022, 04:58:07 PM
Hamilton has struggled in free practice sessions so far but we will see what he will do in qualifying session. Practice sessions still give us a little idea about what can happen at least. Ferrari and Red Bull are very quick as always. Norris have been making me surprised so far by his solid effort in both sessions. Ricciardo also did well so I wonder if McLarens will manage to have a decent success in this Grand Prix. Things haven't gone just as they expected for them so far and they would make use of some good amount of points here.

Well Hamilton was around 2 tenths of a second slower than George Russel which is quite a bit but not that big of a gap. I am also positively surprised about the performance of both Mclaren drivers. I mean it is nothing special anymore that Lando Norris is able to go all the way into Q3 in the qualifying but Daniel Ricciardo was way slower then his teammate so far this season. It seems like the news that he will also drive for Mclaren in the next season definitely have boosted the confidence of Ricciardo which is a great thing because he is a very likeable guy. Now he also needs to deliver in the qualifying and of course also in the race.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which token should I use for my investment ? on: July 29, 2022, 04:37:33 PM
Hello, Dear
Can anyone tell me which token should I use for my investment which will give me profit in a short time as I am investing for the first time?
Thank You,

Hi and welcome to the forum. First of all i think in general it definitely makes sense to ask for advice in this forum. That being said you also need to be careful with the advice that you will get in here, especially if you are a total newbie and have zero knowledge about the cryptospace, it's projects but also about it's community. It hink it is pretty safe to say that among the answers you will get there will also at least be a few that are not really want to give you a neutral and objective advice but that just want to talk you into investing into the coin that there are owning themself. So it is always best to do your own research first and then you can also ask for the opinion of others about certain projects.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin and Blockchain on: July 28, 2022, 08:04:41 PM
So does every cryptocurrency including bitcoin and altcoins have their own different type of blockchain?

Not every crypto project of the thousands that are listed on coinmarketcap or coingecko or whatever has it's own blockchain. Bitcoin of course is has it's own blockchain and obviously it was also the very first blockchain because Bitcoin invented the whole cryptocurrency thing. Ethereum also has it's own blockchain and that is not only a "normal" blockchain like the one from Bitcoin because Ethereum offers smart contract functionality which means that you can use Ethereum to make Dexes, to programm Defi applications and also to create tokens. Which means that a lot of the crypto projects, even big ones are just tokens that were created on the Ethereum blockchain or others ones.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: July 28, 2022, 07:52:39 PM

I also saw that news today and i was really surprised that he is already leaving the formula 1 after this season. I mean he is "only" 35 years old and even though you need to be fit to be a formula 1 driver you can still be at your absolute top level with 40 years. Fernando Alonso is proving that all the time. So Vettel could have at least 5 or 6 more years in the formula 1 if he wanted to. I watched his announcement video and it seems to me that he is just not really that motivated anymore to be a formula 1 driver because it just takes away way to much time from his personal live and it seems like now he just wants to see his kids grow up.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 28, 2022, 11:34:40 AM
the italian sports newspaper 'corriere dello sport' reports that juventus turin is close to signing brazilian forward Roberto Firmino.
the transfer fee of €22 million is expected to flow to fc liverpool.

I would be really surprised if this rumor would turn out to be true. After all Liverpool already had to let Mane go to Bayern this summer and even though they have bought Darwin Nunez as basically the replacement for Mane this would still mean that they would be again one offensive player short if Firmino would leave the club. I also doubt that Liverpool is able or willing to invest another big amount of money to sign a replacement for Firmino then because they already had to pay 75 Million € for Nunez and this number could even go up to 100 Million if all bonuses have to be paid. So i doubt they could make another transfer of 50 M€ or more.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano Losing Luster on Twitter Despite Looming Vasil Hard Fork ! on: July 28, 2022, 11:30:42 AM
According to data provided by The TIE, a Bloomberg Terminal-esque startup that focuses on information services for digital assets, Cardano’s popularity on Twitter, a popular social media platform, has reached a six-month low.

That is not really so surprising to me to be honest. A few months back Cardano was one of the projects that pumped the most because back then the news came up that finally the smart contract functionality will be going live on the Cardano mainnet. After that announcement the price of Cardano pumped up to 3 collars per coin and there were already a lot of projects that announced that they will be launching on cardano once the smart contracts are live. There were already at least 5 different Dexes announced back then and of course each of these projects created a twitter account back then and was very active on social media.
Now the hype about Cardano is over or at least pretty low at the moment therefore not much to talk about.
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 27, 2022, 09:31:20 PM
In what will surely be one of the most bizarre transfer deals of all time if it hapens (at least for me), Kasper Schmeichel is close to joining Nice. It has credibility, the source is L'Equipe.
Apparently he's accepted the deal - but Leicester will allow him to leave once they find a replacement.
He was a starter in a decent PL team so the only reason why he'd leave is that Nice is a way way waaay nicer place to live. Still - quite surprising to read this.

Well we can not really know what happened behind the scenes. I mean it is not really that unusual that a coach wants to change something before the start of the new season and therefore i think it is very well possible that Brendan Rodgers had a meeting with Schmeichel and told him that he is not planning with him as his starting goalie anymore. Stuff like that happens quite often. As you already said i also don't really see any other good reasons for Kasper Schmeichel to make the move from Leicester to Nice. I don't really think that he changes the club just because Nice is a nicer place then Leicester.
Maybe he wants to learn a new language or something.
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking forward to add exchange tokens to my portfolio on: July 27, 2022, 09:26:21 PM
What is the best exchange investment for a newbie? I am looking for an exchange either CEX or DEX token that's good for long term hold, I can only find BITGET and DODO, which one would you advice to go for?.. Already had BNB so no need to talk about BNB.

Well the biggest one is obviously BNB but you already said that this is not interesting to you. At the moment there are several exchanges tokens out there that are interesting to me like for example Huobi token or FTX token but i have not read to much about them so i can not really tell about all the benefits that you get from holding this tokens.
One exchange token that i am holding at the moment are KucoinShares though and i am quite happy with them. If you keep them on the exchange you get a share of the trading fees each and every day and if you have a big amount of KCS then this bonus is not even that small. Also you can take part in token or NFT offerings if oyu are holding more than 100 KCS. Of course if you are keeping your tokens on the exchang there always is a small risk of losing your tokens.
1179  Other / Off-topic / Re: VAR: Has it improved football or has made it worse ?* on: July 27, 2022, 12:49:41 PM
Football’s first real brush with technology began at the 2014 World Cup, when goalline-technology was implemented into some of Europe’s biggest leagues. It came four years after the controversy over Frank Lampard's strike for England against Germany being missed by the officials: the goal was not given despite it clearly crossing the line

VAR. Like it or loathe it, it appears to be here to stay. But has it actually made football better or has it added another unnecessary layer of complication to the beautiful game?
I definitely think that it is a good decision that the goal-line-technology is now used in professional football matches because there you have clear goal or no-goal decisions and this device helps the referee to know for sure if the ball was in or not. If the ball was over the line the referee immediately gets an alarm on his smart watch or whatever he is wearing during a game and there are no delays. So i definitely think that the goal line technology was a great thing to introduce to football.

I have mixed feelings about the VAR though. Football is about emotions and nowadays it is pretty weird when every goal gets checked automatically if it counts or not, because you can not be sure if you should really already celebrate once the ball is in the net. That is pretty weird to me.
1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUSD or USDT? Which stablecoin is safer? on: July 27, 2022, 12:45:29 PM
At the moment I think that BUSD and USDT are the safest stablecoin pairs for regular cryptocurrency trading but I'm afraid that Binance has so huge influence on the market that if it makes mistake, BUSD may get fucked.
USDT seems to be the safest, am I right? What are the possibilities that USDT may end up like TerraUSD?
Which stablecoin do you suggest for crypto/usd trading?

I also think that the two stablecoins that you have mentioned, USDT and BUSD should be pretty safe. There are huge companies behind them which should have enough resources to back the stablecoins that they are minting. I know that there have been rumors regarding USDT for a few years now that we can not be 100% sure anymore if they are really having enough resources to back every USDT that they are minting because they changed the wording regarding that topic a while ago, but recently i have read that the company behind USDT got audited a few times and that everything was fine.
My personal favorite of all stablecoins is USDC though. Even during the bear market of the last months it was always at 1 $.
