1641  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Best MotherBoard for Butterfly Labs Monarch PCI card? on: August 21, 2013, 08:19:40 PM
Moores law says that technology increases and doubles every 18 months.

Monarch will be available in time for technology to double.

Got bored, so i knocked up a crude drawing of a cooling/power solution. Its not to accurate scale, but you get the idea. Thoughts?

The fins are far too large, you need to go for surface area instead of mass.

I already have the heatsink and the fins are nowhere near as chunky as my drawing:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Large-Aluminium-Heat-Sink-Power-Amplifier-Power-Supply-Transistor-IC-FET-PA-/180826754352?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2a1a1d4d30

I was just illustrating a concept really.

Block Erupters are 25mm wide.

So are these little micro fans:  http://bit.ly/13P4NnB

That is all you need.
1648  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Incoming Avalon News 8/9/2013 on: August 20, 2013, 05:02:12 PM
From http://www.avalon-asics.com

story so far - 8/19

chips have arrived via other routes as previously announced, we are shipping them out at the rate of 40-50k on a daily basis at the moment, in addition to the ~150k or so that went out, another 40k was shipped today. There is multiple channel which the chips are arriving from various packaging facility to minimize downtime. Please bare this in mind: while we had backup/multiple packaging companies and various delivery routes, things still will go wrong. There is also testing that must be done, then they can split, packed and sent to the EZP coupled with their CN-22 and be on their way. We will provide more update as they come. In addition, the trade-in and refunds are being processed.

If this is true, many folks on this forum should start receiving chips in the next week or two.

Is he saying there needs to be "testing" done on the chips??...

Bunch of lies as always.
"testing" lol he is trying to lie that they will take each chip out of the tray and 'test' it and then put it back into tray and ship to us.
What is this I don't even...
How hard to understand for ppl do not have a clue about technology.
I try translate it for you:
Various companies take wafer from TSMC cut, packing (assembly silicon structure in the QFN48 package)  and testing.

Additional translation..............   A LOT MORE TIME

wow, you are a bigger douche than I thought.

That's your problem you are always thinking small.   Grin

Weren't you the guy that said "never coming back to this thread after I get my refund"

1650  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: August 20, 2013, 03:04:19 PM
Joe,
I think an apology is in order!

Yes I am sorry you are a dipshit.

I am out not because of lack of faith in Terrahash, they got fucked by the folks who didn't deliver their chips.

So me being out is a vote of NO CONFIDENCE in Avalon being able to deliver any time soon.

As I recall your whining and gnashing of teeth was all about "it's a scam" "I want to see proof of this and that"
"they haven't replied to anything, they made off with our money"

I still believe none of that.
1651  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Butterfly Labs shipping 300 units a day on: August 20, 2013, 02:32:37 PM
My prediction is that it will take 2 more months for all the Jallys to be caught up.

Sorry brother, it just gets so much worse.

Have you looked at:  http://bfl.ptz.ro/  ?

83 Jally in January to Clear
then 226 in February
then 414 in March
and then 941 in April

and that is assuming http://bfl.ptz.ro/ is accurate which you know it is on the low side.

1652  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Who here already pre-ordered the Monarch 28 nm Bitcoin mining card ??? on: August 20, 2013, 02:08:43 PM
If someone can find all of Josh's personal information, including what property he owns, the next step is to Lien his personal property for theft and fraud. Anyone who has a claim against Josh, should step forward and seize his personal property. I think it might be time for people to take back what belongs to them.
If I were dumb enough to be fucked over by Butterfly Labs, I would hire someone to track Josh home and find out where he lives, his car, his bank account etc., Then I would lien every personal item within 100 ft of him, including his wife's property, if he has one, and she has any. I would have his bank accounts seized by the Sheriffs, I would make sure to take every single item he owns.  Cool

If someone took 30 seconds on Google like I just did.

Think there are a lot of Joshua Zerlans in Kansas?

1653  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Which USB hub to use with Block Erupters or K1? A List. on: August 20, 2013, 01:59:39 PM

i ordered a white one from the amazon website and it came with the proper 4A power cord... mining 9 on the 3A, and 10 on the 4A, been fine for the last 24 hours.

I am glad you mentioned that because I was driving myself bonkers trying to figure out why only 9 would work, turns out I got the 3A Power supplies.

Any idea how to get 4A replacements?

I'll believe it if/when people start receiving chips.
If it's actually true, then it figures the news would come after I committed to getting out lol
But as I said before, I've made my choice and I'll stick with it and live with it

I believe you made the wise choice, let's say TH get their chips in the next 3 weeks, then they have another 3 weeks to get them all out the door (absolute best case scenario) in 6 weeks your ROI is impossible. You are actually ahead of the curve on the flood of refund requests that will be coming in the next 3 weeks.

P.S. i am out too Smiley

He has already walked back from that date, Its January now unless you were one of the first few who ordered in the first 90 seconds.

The latest on the 65nm line is that he expects them all to be shipped before Monarch ships so those orders are screwed until January
1658  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] Butterfly Labs BFL Little Single IN HAND on: August 20, 2013, 01:12:55 AM
I love how people here can't read

If you are going to start bids at $118 a GH

( Block Erupter USBs are $96 a GH  <<---- In Stock delivered tomorrow.
and Blades are $78 a GH )   <<---- In Stock delivered tomorrow

You should say

"Don't post a bid that isn't my minimum"

This way you only have to come back every day and bump the thread because that is all will happen here.

EBay would be a great option for you.

1659  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling 2 x 60Gh/s BFL Singles SC – In Hand - 58 BTC O.B.O on: August 19, 2013, 11:20:58 PM

Just to give you some feedback

BTC is $118.50 right now.  BTC116 is $13,817

So you are basically charging $100+ per GH

Anyone on this website can but ASIC Miner blades (13GH) @ $1025 USD for immediate delivery

which is $78USD a GH

You have to be at $70 gh to get any attention in my opinion. Which is BTC84
