1661  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sheepy - new cryptocurrency payment gateway on: March 21, 2023, 11:27:28 PM
I see the site prohibits the use from users of US[1], but if this is the case why the two users cannot access the site then this is not a good way to provide your service both business and its users. At least give them the ability to access the site and just prohibits from registering.

1662  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to Report a Bitcoin Scam on: March 20, 2023, 11:07:13 PM
Good initiative, but why only reports specific address? I will consider reporting if you are running one of the existing block explorers where you can easily check if the address is used for scamming after checking a transaction.
Also, the file report doesnt work, a 404 page.
1663  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: [blockchain.com] Restoring Account Failed, does anyone know why? on: March 20, 2023, 04:28:45 AM
His Bitcoins were originally stored on the blockchain.com web wallet, not a hardware wallet. But due to the loss of email access, and he used seed Phrase to restore, but it failed. Then, with everyone's help, he recovered his bitcoins and transferred them all to his Trezor hardware wallet.
Of course, that's why he opened a thread here and its clearly said in OP and the title. What i said about the OP is using hardware wallet is the quoted i replied.
1664  Other / Meta / Re: Advertising a software that drains user tokens/coins. Is it allowed? on: March 19, 2023, 10:51:45 PM
Have you tried to report it to the mods to delete it?
It is now deleted/removed. Expect a new account will post the same thing later on.

Edit: Well, after checking modlog, looks like its OP (original poster) is spamming the same wallet drainer in the forum, there are at least 3 the same thread with different user but the username is "X-DrainerXX" it just differ the number in the last.

1665  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: [blockchain.com] Restoring Account Failed, does anyone know why? on: March 19, 2023, 10:38:22 PM
Why keep using Blockchain which is a web-based wallet when there are better and safer options in Desktop versions, I believe Exodus is a better option.
Read the whole thread, you will see that OP is using a hardware wallet, the blockchain account issue is only for the new error/bug he encountered. Also i wont suggest a closed source desktop wallet, electrum is still much better compare to exodus or any existing desktop wallet.
1666  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Found my old account with Freebitco on: March 19, 2023, 04:43:28 PM
Unfortunately, the good ol' days of faucets have ended. I remember Freebitcoin giving as much as 1,000 Satoshi per roll. It wasn't worth much back then, but the amount of Bitcoin you could receive from just a faucet with almost zero effort and a few minutes of your time was impressive.
Indeed, i remember back in the days i start doing faucets first for several years as i started bitcoin in 2015 then just got introduced in this forum after few years.
The price was something like $300 and the highest i can get in famous faucets that day were 0.003 it is indeed a memorable experience unlike now faucets are considered as waste of time either for newbies and OGs.
1667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of decentralization and BTC digital economy on: March 19, 2023, 04:23:19 PM
The future of decentralization is uncertain but as we know many uses it already in any kind of sectors, many country implement decentralized system already too. While these crypto founders will always promote their services/blockchain/business but will always empower the use case of crypto especially bitcoin because thats where they get profit the most.

I don't know why people think these crypto businessmen like BTC, if they do, they would educate people how to use BTC the right way, and that is to move their funds into self custody after every successful trade, but how are they going to make money if they don't have billions of their customers money to gamble with.
It's the users choice, they just provide services where most convenient use can be. Besides most of their site's service have faq/blog pages to educate regarding bitcoin, their tokens and other blockchain/crypto.
1668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Blockchain Transactions Per Second on: March 19, 2023, 03:50:25 PM
We already have the lightning network, which should be capable of handling way more transactions than Visa does:

https://twitter.com/Blockstream/status/1502115599874359297

I've read that lightning has liquidity issues though?
If true, that will be a problem as more consumers use the network.
There is still room for improvement, a possible BIP will be made soon for such kind of scalability issue.
Comparing bitcoin transaction to VISA's are irrelevant. Wait until most online services uses bitcoin as a form of payment, like what VISA is now.
1669  Economy / Services / Re: Is there any jr member signature campaign running? on: March 19, 2023, 01:08:34 PM
Check this thread[1], so far, none of them accepts jr. ranks. Some accepts member but mostly its full member and above.
Try to get active and make quality posts, and just follow the process.

1670  Other / Meta / Re: How to Unlock Topic on: March 19, 2023, 10:15:21 AM
Sometimes you need to understand what is written in the warning or notes before asking questions. It is literally mentioned you cannot unlock it and that's the answer. Even if you message admin/mods to unlock it, chances are near to zero.
1671  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph- another "enhanced" KYC documents and process. on: March 19, 2023, 12:14:30 AM
Na mention ko na din kasi about sa Online Gambling and iisang crypto address lang ang sinisendan ko which andun yung name and last name (same with coins.ph info) then Stake account.
Now, if hindi talaga big deal sayo yung ganun kalaking pera (around 13k), then it's okay, sayo naman kase yan.

Edit: After rereading yung first post mo, so na withdraw naman pala at tsaka ipin required ka for KYC. I guess, iwanan mo nalang yang account mo if ever nga wala na siyang malaking balance.
1672  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Binance launches new cloud mining for Bitcoin on: March 18, 2023, 11:57:49 PM
Honestly, I mine on their pool before but they pay me less than mining on other pools. So I don't think buying hashrate on their pool is profitable unless the price of BTC keeps increasing.
Sheesh, i thought they offer higher rates than the others especially when the numbers of miners on their pools expands after closing/shutdown of pools in the last few years, well at pandemic era.

To be honest, it's not too bad, but I don't like the whole idea of cloud mining, even when it's coming from Binance. We were always advised against using something that sounds too good to be true and prompts a Ponzi scheme.
Right? Sounds like binance are trying to prove and make cloud mining is a legit thing. When in fact it's just a waste of time, like maintenance rate increase every time that you will no longer get any profit because you will end up paying such fees in the end. Even the withdrawal fees is a bit high too. Well, that was my experience on so called "legit cloudmining" before, but lets see how binance will prove this kind of service is different from others.
1673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $1M Bitcoin Valuation until the end of this Bull Run on: March 18, 2023, 11:51:13 PM
Like in every sh*t comparison threads, bitcoin is not made to replace any kind of money/currency and banking system. Even satoshi doesn't have any views like that, but instead it is made for as an alternative. And $1m is like a every bitcoiner dream, who doesn't want like that? Right? Every people who have at least quarter of bitcoin will be considered as maybe rich, or financial stablr. But please it won't happen.
1674  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cloudbet account under review for 5 months on: March 18, 2023, 11:39:57 PM
I would love OP to post more details about the case with enough evidence that can get us to tag and create a flag against cloudbet's profile here in the forum at least if everything checks out and is true.

The automatic reply they gave me is bullshit!
Regardless, just update the OP with your proof for this accusation. I know there are existing the same complains like this towards cloudbet but with every accusation should have a strong evidence that this and that happens.
This might not help you getting replied/reviewed on their end but this kind of thread will serve a purpose to their future users to avoid using such site for good sake.
1675  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: --WARNING--BlaBla Game (BLA) is a scam ICO! on: March 18, 2023, 11:32:30 PM
Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, there are still those who are attracted to airdrops and bounties without paying attention to warnings and red flags.
I'll be always wary to join on such thing especially for red flags, it might be an obvious free money bur your security and privacy should be prioritized. So using only an special email, browser for this, but i knew kyc is sometimes required to be able to withdraw some coins from airdrop which is BS for me.
1676  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph- another "enhanced" KYC documents and process. on: March 18, 2023, 06:39:09 PM

Recommended way diyan is, gambling funds -> non-custodial wallet -> coins.ph. Rarely lang na dedetect ni coins pag ganyan. Ganyan din ginagawa ko.
1677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: While Everyone was Talking about El Salvador! We forgot about Guatemala on: March 17, 2023, 11:49:43 PM
The only thing we should worry is the tax that might be applied by the governments to our crypto assets especially bitcoin, as the main purpose of bitcoin is to get rid of that.
Not a bit problem though, but i assume that it won't be huge and only taxed when buying commodities/services the same as what fiat did, but if not then its really the case and will be a future problem too.
1678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Wallet for Android / Re: Unconfirmed transaction on Bitcoin Android Wallet on: March 17, 2023, 11:35:00 PM
Ok. In mempool says it is 1.2 sat/vb. Also ETA in several hours (or more).

Hope it gets confirmed before 2 weeks Wink
Too low fee paid. Currently the mempool says, the network is purging transactions under 2.2 sats/vB, so your transaction is likely to get dropped off later on rather than get confirmed.
2.2 sats/vB is not so distant from 1.2 sats/vB though if its the case. But checking mempool.space its low priority is already at 17 sats/vB so if OP's transaction is still unconfirmed i'm afraid it will get confirmed too soon. Unless pending transactions fall down, though waiting at least 2 days might be better. But if still not get confirmation, drop it, then create a new transaction with higher fee, at least the recommended fee.
1679  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph- another "enhanced" KYC documents and process. on: March 17, 2023, 11:20:47 PM
1680  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: my expirience on site Trustdice.com SCAM on: March 16, 2023, 02:11:04 PM
Yes i alreaddy posted in theme at casino guru that i can easy approve that i have real documents. I wait for casino guru reply about this situation.
Please keep us updated on the outcomes of the issue resolution. If possible, you could share with us the link to keep track. The outcomes will be very vital on Trustdice's future feedback.

I've been watching it quite a while, here

It's been under "waiting for approval" for a few days while CG's representative is reviewing the evidences provided by OP, as they'll only publish the replies from both parties once they're sure there's nothing privacy-sensitive contained on the posts. I guess they're checking the allegedly tampered documents, hence the very long delay.
It's already 6 days, yet no after update posted.
The question is, how they will validate that the sent documents are fake or not? It's in digital form either image or video type or whatever it is, theres still no way to prove that it is fake or not. Unless they have the physical true copy or the actual docs for checking. Or it is obvious edited by looking the image metadata or its actual looks which is easy to check and will not take so much time like 5 days.

Edit: Fixed lol. Thanks @holydarkness
