The Golden State Warriors (36-35) will visit the Memphis Grizzlies (42-27) tonight at FedExForum. The Warriors are bad at road with 7-28 record while the Grizzlies are 28-5 at home.

Any special reason why you pick GSW over Grizzlies at home? I know Morant is out, but they still have a lot of good defense for the Grizzlies. 1.90 is really an inviting odds, but personally, I would pick the spread for GSW rather than ML. But yeah, an interesting pick given that they're really terrible on the road. Just pray that Steph and the gang would perform their magics on the court to give GSW a comfortable lead before the final minutes of the game, which the Grizzlies have excellent defese and ball rotations on. He already stated some of the facts and made a point why the Warriors are just too bad on the road, yet he wagered the money line on the Warriors favor even if it's not that enticing enough even if the Grizzlies are not yet complete and while the Warrriors core are complete, that is still not enough IMO. I agree, handicap/spread are much better. Their next match-up is against the Houston Rockets. Let's see if they can break the curse. That's a tough game to bet golden state has been horrible on the road. And the Grizzlies always play up to the Warriors when they are playing each other. I'm laying off this game and just gonna enjoy watching this one. Always fun with all the smack talking between these 2 teams. Big game though for the Warriors. They need to figure out how to win on the road against good teams if they are gonna compete for anorher chip. |

At this point , Kings wining the West is not a dream anymore right ? I know the chances are low and most likely it won't happen but still , this is maybe the best season they had in the last 15 years of franchise and they do have a team that could go deep in play offs.  However , for me , Bucks are still the best and strongest team in the NBA , followed closely by Celtics who are having another phenomenal season that could end with another NBA final. I respect your opinion for the Bucks because they are indeed a dangerous team especially if they are all healthy mainly Giannis who can track anyone down in both ends of the court. Also, there are other teams who actually improved this season too but just like the Bucks and other top teams in both conferences, they will still prove their skills and strengths in the conference finals and then the Finals. For the Kings, it's early too tell about their chances whether if it's low or high because they are decent hence, why they managed to be one of the top teams in the West next to the Nuggets. We don't know, they might surprise us this time just like what the Celtics did last playoffs from being an underdog who swept the Brooklyn Nets in the 1st round until they faced the Warriors in the Finals. Come playoff time we will he able to tell if they are playoff ready. Regular season and playoffs are 2 wildly different games to be honest. Some teams are great in the regular season but match them up against the same team in a best of 7 and they can't adjust game by game. Usually happens to young or playoff inexperienced teams. Glad there is new blood in the playoff water though. |

Injuries are really taking a toll one the NBA as we get closer to the end of the season. I should be getting excited about the Los Angeles Lakers playing the Dallas Mavericks tonight, but I’m not sure if any of the superstars are going to be on the floor. Luka maybe will put on a show but I would’ve loved to have seen Kyrie and LeBron face off again on their latest teams.
What a beauty this ending was. Our guy Maxi Kleber with 3 clutch free throws 15sec before the end to make it a 1 point game and then after a Lakers turnover Maxi's first NBA game winner buzzer 3 pointer. He is a force on the defensive end but his shooting from 3 is definitely worth mentioning as well. Thanks AD for the "great" foul on Maxi shooting a 3, amazing. GO MAVS. It was basically how the Lakers team has been for the last couple of years. They just aren't that good and I hope they don't make a full series playoff because they will get smacked around and be boring. Was funny because as I was watching that broken play and was thinking to myself the Lakers are gonna screw this up and bam. 3 at the buzzer lol. |

Looks like 2 of you just took huge hits. Purdue beat by a #16 seed. BRUTAL!!! It's such a crazy year though, none of the teams are dominant. Still anyone's game at this point as points should go up each round. It's all going to depend on who gets the most teams in the Final Four IMO.

And yes, for ESPN there’s now 0 perfect brackets out of 20 million. 2nd time in history. 16 seeds were 1-150 in history and Virginia a couple years ago lost to a 16 seed for the first time. Purdue lost last year to st Peter's who was a 15 seed. Weak sauce. Funny thing is they had the tallest guy in college at 7'4" and FD had the smallest team in the country. Their biggest guy was 6'6" and edey (7 foot dude) got 1 shot attempt in the last 12 minutes. Painter is getting fired...no doubt. So just learned Painter actually played PG for Purdue for 4 seasons, while Bruce Webber was an assistant to Keady. They both came to SIU and absolutely killed it. Painter was an assistant under Bruce till he left for IL, his one year as my schools coach he was MVC coach of the year, and had us ranked #15 in the nation, which is huge of course for a mid major. Wheelz you prob remember those Saluki teams, we were stacked back then and the MVC had creighton (& Kyle korver) and Wichita state, so was a really good conference . When he left it all fell apart. The guy can coach and recruit, he’s 413-197 career at Purdue, last two seasons being his best w 29 wins. He’s likely not going anywhere anytime soon IMO…but yeah today was his worst loss ever that’s for sure. Yep that conference was stacked as a mid major. Nobody wanted to book them as part of theor non conference schedule in the beginning of the year. Parity was good back them. Probably right but it hasn't been a good look. 2021 they lost to a 13 seed, last year to a 15 seed and this year to a 16 seed. They've had good seasons but theor tourny runs have been horrible. |

Yep, just one game for the Warriors, and as we can see in their lineup, no Wiggins still, so they continue to struggle unlike during their championship run last year there are a lot of good supporting players who fulfill their role, but not this year. So Curry need to step up, scores 50 and yet it's not enough.
They are in the playoffs, just have to see where they are going to land and which opponents they are going to face.
But you can't really take them off in the equation as they are the defending champions and they have been in this situation many times.
With regards to Wiggins, I saw a Facebook post on Bleacher report saying that Wiggins "LIKELY" will not return this season because of personal reasons. This personal reasons thing really makes us fans and some other NBA fans curious about what's happening with the Warriors right now. I mean they don't want to disclose it in public or at least give some hints on what's happening on him. I'm also thinking that this might be a tactic for the Warriors for the upcoming season, but it's unlikely that they are doing it. Anyway, their next game will be in a few hours against the Hawks "on the road" again. The 2nd out of the 5 consecutive road games for the team. Like you said, they're the defending champions and they will not just lost that title without doing anything. I'm leaning towards the fact that Wiggins and GPII will only play during the playoffs so that other teams can't scout them, and make some adjustments with them. Why would they air out the dudes personal laundry if they don't have to. There's plenty of times people sit out and the listing is personal reasons. How tacky would that be if they tell the public who they don't owe and explanation to as why he isn't playing. These are people too, things happen to people is what it is. |

I don't see this going too far. They were likely dupped all the same. I think they would need to prove they were aware of the projects mishaps and wrong doings which they weren't. And I'm not playing victim blamer here but who invests theor money into something because theor favorite quarterback is a spokesman for them lol. That might be the most rediculous thing someone can do with their money. |

Hard no. They pumped last bull run, but they are worthless projects so lightning won't strike twice most likely. Memes were basically a fad during the covid era. Every bull run a new fad or group of coins tends to be the flavor of the market. No one knows but throwing money in memes likely will leave you with less money than you started with. |

Lots of focus over on day 1 ncaa tourny but still a decent lineup tonight. Got 3 games I like:
1) Raptors at home -6. They have been playing good ball lately.
2) Suns -8 at home. Tough road game for a young orlando team, think they roll here.
3) kings -3 at the Nets. Kings are better than I thought, this is a tough east coast trip for them but think they can steal one in Brooklyn.

That extra spot at 9th and 10th is not really that big of a deal. Could someone replace the 8th? or even 7th? Sure why not, I am not saying that's impossible, but at the same time, do you think that team would see second round? I highly doubt that it could happen, we are going to end up with the first and second seed destroying them, possibly sweeping them so it doesn't even matter if Lakers goes to playoffs, because they will lose. The very best case being a first round exit, the worst being play-in loss is not really the way Lebron should have his last years, Lakers either needs to do something, or at least let him go to a good team. Suns (4th) and Pelicans (12th) have only 4 win difference, that's super close. I don't remember any season like that recently. Let me show you how close it is with an example. Mavericks were almost certain to make the playoffs but they've taken 3 losses in a row and are currently out of the play-off table. If Lakers match with Mavericks there's really no point to be in play-in tournament. But if they match with Thunder or Twolves they have a fairly good chance. That doesn't change the fact that they would be swept by Nuggets or Grizzlies anyway. Agreed I haven't either. The last week or so of basketball is going to be so exciting. From a home court 1st series to getting knocked into the playin game can happen in one week. Parity is good in the league right now. I don't kmwo if it's because the talent pool is diluted or the teams are just that even in terms of skill set. |

David Montgomery signed by the Detroit Lions late last night. As a Bears fan, Im actually really happy about this. I think he’s criminally overrated. There’s a lot of solid RBs available right now and apparently the Bears are considering trading for Ekeler. He’d be a great upgrade but not sure if his contract would be reasonable.
The rpa action between fields and Ekler would be deadly. I'm not big on large contracts for rbs but this one would make sense for the Bears. Short passes and the run game for the Bears would be elite between those 2. Good veteran presence in the locker room too. Wonder what chargers would want back in a trade. At this point I think there’s too many solid running backs on the free-agent market that you’ll be able to sign for much less than what you’d have to give up to the Chargers, plus what you’d have to spend signing him after trading for him, as you’re of course not going to spend capital to get him for him to only walk away 1-2 years later (not sure exactly what his current contract looks like). Derrick Henry might also be available, and despite what most people think, he’s actually got a lot less wear and tear than many assume as he sat behind Murray for a few years so he was eased in to begin his career. Damien Harris is available, would love for the Bears to swoop him up. Didn't even realize Henry was up for grabs. And yeah someone like Harris and draft another one in the 5th-7th rounds and hope to land a good one. With Fields playing the ground game a lot ypu can't play a rookie all that much because he will end up being more a blocker than anything. Not that I'm in favor of qbs trying to run all the time because it's only a matter of time before injuries follow fields is lethal when he moves out of the pocket. |

The Ja Morant story just keeps getting crazier and crazier. Noow some are speculating he might be shut down for the season as he goes to counseling. Seems like he's doing it to try and save his Powerade deal but I think that ship has already sailed. Whatever he decides to do, I hope he gets himself figured out in time to return to the playoffs. What a shame this situation is for the Grizzlies who finally have a good team and were looking to make a deep playoff run this year. Steven Adams must be pissed off about the whole situation.
And still there is no timetable for his return, but we should consider him not returning for this season, I mean they should allow him to play if everything is ok with him, otherwise if could be that he is still not mentally stable and continue his antics outside basketball. Grizzlies are playoff bound, but we all know that they needed Ja, last year they almost make it but he got injured against the Warriors. Now they have a good chance, but this unfortunately events resurface. Ja Morant is surely out for the whole season. At least that's what seems to be the situation right now. Mental health is of course a very serious thing for any athlete. After all, a player will only play well if his mental situation is good as well. Any kind of sport is as mental as it is physical. Him not being available is going to be a block for the game. But of course, they will have to find a way around this. The grizzlies are performing well right now. It will be a little hard without him, but it is what it is. He ended up only getting 8 games 6 of which already passed. So he is eligible to play starting Monday night against Dallas. Unsure if Memphis will throw him out there. But make no mistake losing ja means losing money for the NBA, he is one of the new faces and makes the sport entertaining. They won't push down one of theor cash cows unless it's something really bad. |

Overall, the Lakers are a good team to watch out now because after the trade deadline, they are coming from a team who can't get a play-in spot to now a team who might at least enter the playoffs. They have players who are good on offense, but at the same time, they also have players who are also good on defense. Davis on this game lead his team with a double-double 35 points and 17 rebounds. Beasley and Russell combined for 41 points.
I'm a bit surprised TBH that the Lakers ended up winning by only 15 points. I mean we've seen the lead of the Lakers go as high as 30+ points. Well, the good thing is that they didn't let the Pelicans get the momentum from the start until the end even though it's their home court. I just hope that they will win on their next game and will be on .500.
Another great win by the Lakers! Haters are going to hate, but they are showing us they are a completely different team. Winning on the road is difficult, but they managed to do it against the Pelicans and have dominated them. They are a great team, and we will no longer talk about their struggles, as they are demonstrating excellent chemistry that some of us did not expect after the trade deadline. NBA is so strange sometimes. They can't beat the Knicks (which is is without Jalen Brunson and on the 2nd game of a back to back) at home but on the road they beat NO leading by 35 points(!!!) at half time. This team is so inconsistent, even if they somehow reach the playoffs or play-ins they won't survive ( I hope ). May sound like a hater, but Lakers, no thanks.  They couldn't beat the Knicks because the Knicks are just a better team this year. The Knicks road record is significantly better than either the Lakers home or road record. The Lakers are just not a good team period. They will win some games but it's ugly basketball if ypu watch it. There is no team ball just individually playing. If enough guys have a good game then they can pull out a win. But they are not going anywhere anytime soon. |

Big stretch for golden state to end the season coming up. They do need to figure out how they are gonna win on the road. But come playoff time I don't have any doubt they will be right in the mix of everything. Playoff basketball is so different than regular season basketball. Big players step up and if Curry is on nobody is gonna stop him.
Steve Kerr said that's where his worry is. If they cannot win road games, what more will it be in the playoffs? We know they are a different team when that event comes but they must secure their playoff spot first. As of now, they cannot relax. Clippers are on their tail and they will keep on winning games with their strong roster. The Mavericks may also have been losing their games but when Luka and Kyrie come back, it will be a different story. The Warriors need to win every game as much as possible and avoid the play-in tournament. It will not be easy to be in a do-or-die situation especially without Wiggins yet. Yeah no one wants to play in the play in games so it makes sense for anyone in the 5/6 hole to want to keep that position. For the casual fans I just wanted to point out that what happens in the regular season doesn't always translate to the playoffs. If the Warriors play theor first 2 playoff games on the road against the higher seed kings team my guess would be that golden state would be favored in both games or at worst be an even bet. Not based on road record but playoff experience. It's a real thing they will be fine with all that experience on that team. The issue they would have is if they line up against Memphis in the first round. They are a tough matchup. |

@ChiBitCTy. The Jets might do better if they traded for someone else. Aaron Rodgers will be 40 years old and his performance were not very good much of the games I remember. However, if the Jets are not seaching for a quarterback that would bring them to the post season, Rodgers might be their quarterback hehe.
@DireWolfM14. However if the 49ers trade and have Lamar in their team, would you say that he can increase the odds for San Francisco to win a superbowl?
Problem is jets want to win now, and with Brady finally put of the division there is actually a shot that hasn't been there for 20 years. Yeah Rodgers is "nfl old" but he is better than literally anyone ypu van get in the free agent market, draft or on the team currently so as much as I'm against 1-2 year stop overs before retirement it makes sense for the jets. Let Wilson sit behind Rodgers and learn and he might actually be worth salvaging. |

This seemed like a vegas trap game trying to get everyone to bet on the nugs. we will not know for the price of bitcoin in the future, and I just want to know what you think, about the question this time that I will ask you all, namely..
what will happen to altcoins if btc price drops to 10 dollars?
In short, this whole experiment will be over if that happens. I mean I'm sure bitcoincan fail and other projects continue on but in the near future I can't see that happening. If people lose faith in bitcoin then I can't see why they wouldn't lose faith in all of crypto. Can other projects thrive, yes they can but bitcoin at $10 would upend any progress crypto has make in the last 10-15 years. |

Since most of the major altcoins move up or down at the same time as bitcoin, aren't they all controlled? How does it work?  For one, bitcoin drives the market, usually when bitcoin moves so do alts. But another huge factor is a lot of the alts are paired with bitcoin. So as bitcoin goes up in usd so do alts because the unlying paired asset went up. In short alts usually tend to always follow whatever bitcoin is doing. Skip the bull and just buy bitcoin and hodl |

@ChiBitCTy. Aaron Rodgers will not go to the Las Vegas Raiders? I always speculated that Las Vegas would be his next team after the Raiders traded for Davante Adams. They might need that type of partnership to bring them to the post season. Also, it appears Lamar trade to the 49ers speculation is growing.
