1021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 30, 2023, 06:32:55 PM
Now for the final question, will Crawford able to make it straight into a reality and be the strongest in the welterweight division? Or most of us here are wrong about him and we might've underestimated the underdog who prolonged the fight.

Well, nobody can answer that question for sure because it's not just you but all of us who are excited to see this fight is also rooting to find the answer. And if I'm being honest, I'd say that Crawford got some chances to win over Spence, but we know that the latter is not that easy to overcome and it will be a tough battle before we can finally know the answer.

For now, let's enjoy and hopefully we will get the entertainment that we want for the fight later.

Can't wait for this fight.  I just hoe either way it's not one of those 1st or 2nd round wins.  I need to see a battle tonight.  So what's everyone here leaning towards?  I'm in on Crawford and might lay a little more.  And a flyer on tko in 7th-9th rounds.  I think this one is crawford's to lose.

Nailed it.  Crawford annihilated Spence.  It was so one sided I'm surprised Spence wants a round 2.  In the terms it has to be by the end of the year so likely Spence vs Crawford 2 in December.  After knocking Spence down in the 7th I thought it was likely that round or the 8th but still snuck in my tko 7-9th rounds.  No question who runs welterweight boxing right now and was the fight Crawford needed in his career to kill off any naysayers.
1022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Vs legit Altcoins in 2023 on: July 29, 2023, 08:31:41 PM
Before this year 2023, people were launching projects with whitepaper, roadmap and promote those projects with Their team. Memecoins were few but this year, situation is changed. Everybody is busy launching memecoins, no whitepaper, no roadmap. 8 projects are memecoin out of 10 projects.
It seems, this year will be full of memecoins. What do you think? Why memecoin launching is increasing so much in this year?

Happens all the time.  They found so.e success in 2021 so everyone thinks they are going to hit it big again.  Sad part is most people will just end up losing all of theor money to these people launching these.  Those are the only people that's going to hit it big.  Steer clear of fads that make no sense meaning there is no real project bilehind it.  Can't wait for this meme thing to finally be over its annoying.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ADVICE]Boy Wins $46k from Sports Bet but Can't Tell Strict Religious Parents... on: July 29, 2023, 08:29:11 PM
Someone recently won $46,606 from making a correct prediction on one of the matches in the on-going 2023 FIFA Women World Cup competition from his wager of $10 on a sports betting website. The person is unemployed and within the ages of 20 - 23. He lives with his parents who are strict religious people that frown on gambling and other youthful vices. His parents are certainly not going to be happy that their son engages in gambling despite winning such huge amount of money. He doesn't want them to be upset with him. He says he's going to keep it a secret. I disagreed with him because despite having strict parents, they are going to be mad at him for a little while but I don't think they'll tell him to return the money. What do you guys think? Should he tell his parents or secretly invest the money while acting his regular self around the house?

He isn't 15.  He is the age of someone who can vote, go to war, etc.  I'd tell my parents and let the dice land where they may.  It's much better being open than hiding stuff from people.  If they don't like who ypu are then so be it.  Much rather someone hate who I am than liking someone who they think I am but really am not.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 29, 2023, 08:27:16 PM
According to Shams the NBA has warned Damian Lillard and his agent that if they make any more comments about Damn only wanting to play for the Miami Heat then they would be, “subject to discipline.” I think this shows that Portland isn’t exactly set on sending Dame where he wants to go. Dame ending up unhappy on an obscure team might be the surprise of the offseason.

Since the Heat doesn't even want to include Butler and Adebayo in the deal, it's no surprise that the Blazers aren't happy because they're being offered to trade their best player for nothing. However, even if the NBA disciplines Lillard and his agent, it's unlikely to change anything. Lillard has already made it clear that he only wants to play in the Heat, and I think the other teams realize that it makes no sense for them to try to get Lillard. I mean, no team would want to trade literally half of their roster for a player who would be unhappy playing for them.

Well, that is true. And at the same time, I think we can also say that there is no point for the teams to actually pursue the player. Because that is not going to get them anything to be honest. The player has directly stated that he is not going to play for any other team, except for Heat. And so, of course, the other teams already know that it doesn’t matter what they do to get him and how good of a deal they offer to him, the player is not going to be very happy playing for them.

That's the only leverage Dame has.  If he gets traded to a different team everyone knows he will be playing.  When you don't have a no trade clause you have no leverage as a player.  Who knows he could be jockeying for something completely different.  Maybe he is saying that to screw over Portland who knows if they pissed him off about something.  Either way he is playing no doubt wherever he lands.

1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: July 29, 2023, 08:11:22 PM
Brazil women's team was in first place in Group F but lost to France women's team today and dropped them to third place. Brazil women's team did not perform very well today, their attack did not work. a 2-1 loss to France dropped them well behind in the group points but most people were betting on the Brazil women's side today. France conceded an early goal to Brazil but then equalized when the Brazil women's team attacked. The France women's team then scored a last time goal and the Brazil women's team had no time to retaliate. For which the Brazil women's team unfortunately lost to the France women's team, losing their group table points and changing position.

Losing against France isn't something that surprises me, because French women's football is one of the best in Europe, you can see which team and country has won the most women UCL. Trust me mate, even though they are currently in third place in Group F, in the end they will make it to the next round. Their next opponent will be Jamaica who is currently in second place. They will definitely easily get 3 points from Jamaica and make their positions swapped.

That's what the books say but who knows in this tourney.  I'm a betting man so I will probably lay in on Brazil, I might throw it on the under as well.  Both teams given their position are gonna play tight and not to make the first mistake.  Your right though the loss against France wasn't that bad of a loss.

He is a known troll and honestly I am not going to put money into anything he does going forward.  Dude is a little unhinged to be running such huge corporations.  At a certain point all of this is going to blow up in his face.  He just likes to see his name plastered everywhere.  In the beginning it was funny but it's starting to get cringy.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: July 28, 2023, 04:19:59 PM
For the two times I've watched the English women play, there has been nothing fancy to their game, even playing like a country that made it to the World Cup for the first time. One would say their performance today was greatly affected by the injury of Keira Walsh in the 38th minutes because she has been quite instrumental in the midfield but what can be said for their dismal performance against Haiti? At present, they are without the services of their captain Leah Williamson and Beth Mead all to ACL injury and with all these important players out,. I wonder how they'd perform in their next game against China.

That's a huge injury for them.  To run the table you need some of those top experienced players.  They can definitely get out of the group stage but they are going to run into some tough games getting to the final and without the players that were already injured I'd be surprised if they overcame this.
1029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: July 28, 2023, 04:18:03 PM
I knew that there's many topic like this in the past that asking advice about loaning for gambling. The intention of this thread is determined what's the actual feeling when you are using a loan money on gambling knowing that there's an interest rate on your borrowed money which means you already lose part of your money before you start gambling.

I saw many high rank users here that asking for loan and directly deposit the loan amount on gambling account. I want to know what's the experience on using loan money. Is there additional pressure on gameplay or just the same using regular money without an interest rate.

I'd advise you to never take out a loan to gamble.  Gambling is just that you can lose it all.  It's the easiest way to put yourself in debt to not be able to get out of it.  Not only that you will have to outwit your interest you owe on it as well.  The house already has the odds you are giving yourself a less of a chance to break even or win with a loan.  Go work, save up some money and use money that you can afford to lose to gamble.  Be smart.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 28, 2023, 03:13:38 PM
Now the question will pop out. Will this affect the future of Bronny, especially in a long-term position? Sure he has his father to back him up to be signed in teams where he has power but there will be doubts after this.

In terms of which team would sign him, I'm sure they'll consider the implications and take measures to protect their investment. So, there's nothing to worry about on their side. I'm more concerned about Bronny being able to play in the NBA, as it has always been his father's dream to play with his son.

Well, hopefully what happen is not a hindrance to his goal in the NBA.

Surely it will have an implications in the pursue to enter the NBA. Teams will consider his short term and long term health status, they will surely look on his diagnoses whether or not it will affect his performance, after the doctor says it would probably affect his basket career. Any team doesn't want liabilities. However, when his finally recovered, Bronny will most probably going to play ball again as this runs through their blood, except if doctors doesn't allow him to work excessive physical work out, then I guess that would be the end of his career.
Now, the dream about seeing LeBron and Bronny play together in the NBA is now in jeopardy.
Hope the kid bounce back 100.
Do we know the reason why he had a cardiac arrest? It is unknown, isn't it? I tried to google and it seems like it can happen for adolescent athletes, and it says more risky for the black athletes. That is interesting. But, as far as I understand, it will not definitely affect his possible nba career. As far as I understand, these things can happen. With the extra care that he will have now, I'm sure and I hope he will be ok. The thing is, I think this incident will affect Lakers either way. Not in a bad way particularly. I think with his son being ok now, Lebron will still aim to play with him. It means he will be the Lebron we know, he will perform as usual. Good news for Lakers.

There could be any number of reasons why this happened. But what I am sure of is that this incident will affect Bronny's future NBA career in one way or another. It's also worth noting that the NBA has an overly busy schedule of games, and that's a huge stress on any player's body. In Bronny's case, the stress on his heart will be much greater than it is now.

Agreed, there will be people hesitent now to pick him up due to medical.  Honestly if I were him I'd be more concerned with my health right now that getting back on the court.  For some guys it's the way out of being poor so worth the risk.  Bronny will be just fine in that regard lol.  In all honesty hope the kid recovers and can continue ue to play.

In real football news, thank God giants signed Barkley, that would have been a huge hole at running back.  Signed Jones for years and Thomas our left tackle for years.  They are 8.5-1 to win the nfc east.  I know eagles are favorites but I can see them regressing some.  Might throw a flyer on the g men

I would say its better than even money they can catch a wildcard slot this year.

I went back and looked at yahoo's ratings of our draft report card last year and the top 3 teams were all rated in the bottom 4!

I found that highly amusing.

https://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/373233

It's always the joke in my one fantasy league.  Whoever "they" grade the lowest had the best draft.  It's funny because people think the rankings lines you up for a winning season.  What I've learned is that a decent amount is luck.  Injuries need to be minimal and ypu need to hit a couple flyers who weren't ranked that high. That's usually who wins it.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High gas fee for sending token is still a problem on: July 27, 2023, 10:34:33 PM
I have more interest in altcoins than bitcoin because they give more ROI, but we are not in a bull market yet and Ethereum gas fee keeps surging since yesterday, it is fair if you are sending ETH from a wallet to another but the real deal is when you plan to send tokens from a wallet to another, the gas is high and this makes me wonder what will happen in a bull market, because most of my tokens are on Erc-20 chain, what is a good way to be prepared for this?

I mean if you don't want to deal with it or see too much risk in those gas fees then bail out sooner than later and put it into a coin with its own blockchain or into platforms with much lower fees, like polygon.  I tend to steer clear myself because if you only own a low amount it cost more to send than what you would receive back.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 27, 2023, 10:32:36 PM
I wouldn't say europeans who do well in euroleague do badly in NBA, that could be the case back in the day but not anymore. Look at Luka, won the euroleague MVP and now he is playing like an MVP at NBA too. Look at Giannis and Jokic, sure they came in when they were very young, but they became MVP's as well. So far Europeans are covering the best of NBA and I would say the best player of NBA has been European for at least 5+ seasons.

This made teams think maybe they can get some European players to help from the bench. Don't get me wrong, that kid looks like he is 24 years old already, he is not getting there for anything serious, it's a two way contract that can end any moment, so it's not really like this is the best case, but no harm in trying.

Yeah back in the day Euroleague to nba was a huge drop off.  Not so much anymore.  Basketball is global for sure now.  The most talent comes from the US still but that doesn't mean incredibly great players can't be had from overseas.  Amd you are right some of the top players are foreign to the US.

1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: July 27, 2023, 10:23:46 PM
Great result for the Netherlands who have a great footballing history and I think
they have an easier match next against Vietnam than the USA have against Portugal.

At the moment, the three teams are in the race for the two spots, to move forward in the world cup.

The Netherlands will be the best positioned, as they will have the easiest game. And Portugal will have the most complicated game, since to continue ahead, it has to beat the USA. Which will not be easy, as they will play with the most experienced team in the competition.

I mean the US is but most of those players are playing at their first cup.  They played sloppy the first 2 games even though they had positive outcomes.  It's not a foregone conclusion that the US wins here.  They need to shape up their attack in the 18, they had a zillion chances but couldn't put it away.  Netherlands is best positioned but they are still 2 goals down on the tie break.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 27, 2023, 10:19:36 PM
I have already bet Crawford by KO but after reading some comments I'm now unsure if I did the right choice.  Roll Eyes

Crawford may have won in this poll but the boxing community is also saying Spence has superior technical skills, he is also better in defense and is physically stronger. I may not even watch this fight because there is also another event in UFC but we're also going to be seeing them fight twice since both of them can activate their rematch clause as well.

Errol had their own strategy to win the game,So you should re-consider your bet.Crawford had good game like the Errol but the power of punch was more with Errol. So most of the people think Errol will win the game, because the boxing community think Errol had huge techniques compared to the Crawford.

I don't completely agree, Crawford just isn't a power puncher who goes in there with no plan.  I mean we can talk about it until we are blue in the face guess we will just have to see.  I got Crawford tko rounds 7-9.  I think Crawford will wear Spence down in the later rounds.  Gonna be a good fight either way, and we are guaranteed a rematch if the losing boxer wants to run it back.

I read a news today but I'm not sure if it's true.
Oklahoma City Thunder player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will become the first NBA player in history to sign a $400 Million contract.

Source: CBS Sport

If he signs back with okc he will sign the super max whatever it is at that time.  It's not like baseball where you have an open ended salary with no cap basketball does.  Which means they can only make the max amount.  Shai will command the max which will creep up every year.  So will every other player who gets the superman at that time.  Dollar figures are getting crazy but I guess it's all reletive.

I have created a telegram channel providing trading signals. Its free) the name is 5min calls.

I welcome everyone there. You can come and see the statistics. It would be nice if you stay:)
I don’t know ways to promote a channel, so I decided to try it here)

Everyone have a great day! Smiley Smiley Smiley

So you are trying to create a pump group, not that I'm against it but most of them groups just generate profit for their buddies or people who pay the most is this one of them groups.  Signals just means a pump group with a fancy name.  Either way I hope.ou don't screw people over like most of these groups do.

Jaylen Brown has extended his contract with the Boston Celtics for 5 years and $ 304 Million.
Jaylen Brown will earn $60.8 Million annually.

Bronny James was hospitalized for cardiac arrest during training.
His condition is stable now.

I've heard people say that contract is crazy but that's the going rate for super Max's.  He's a top 20 player in his 20s if they didn't pay it someone else would have.  They couldn't lose him otherwise they would have fallen out of the top echelon of teams.  They are all in now.
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Bitcoins to never gamble again. Will you take it? on: July 25, 2023, 10:39:13 PM
Hey fellow gamblers, I don't know if this question has been asked before on this forum. If it has , please let me know and I will lock it and move it to archival.

My question is this, if you were given 5 Bitcoins to never gamble again for the rest of your life, will you take it? Considering that first you will already be rich or the prospect of getting rich is high from it. And also if you play your cards right by investing the 5 Bitcoin properly, it could also mean generational wealth. Or will you say that 5 Bitcoins can't match the thrill and pleasure that comes from gambling, be it at a physical casino or an online casino.

Easily yes.  I'd hold the bitcoin as my gamble and watch it rise to over 100k Smiley  Gambling is for fun and I'd just find something else to do for fun during that time.  $150k usd to not do something that has zero effect on your life is crazy to not take.  Goes for any extra curricular activity in my mind.
