1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is right time for investment ? on: May 29, 2023, 07:50:47 PM
I just checked the dex are gaining more volume and popularity now a days like uniswap and sushi swap and don't forget The PCS and i just found an upcoming dex named OscarSwap they have a really amazing features and offering passive income for the users i think early adoption of OscarSwap would be great approach as it is on Arbitrium and have a less fees with the high speed transaction further the team is transparent, doxxed , KYced and the contract is audited from certik but now a days it's hard to believe in new projects so what you guys think should i have to take part in early stages of the OscarSwap or not as i am really scared of losing my hard earned money.
-cut-
You say it has less fees than uniswap? How does it have less when uniswap also offers Arbitrum to use? And can you explain the passive income thing. That's the only thing that sounds semi-interesting in here but i remain skeptical on that as someone gets to pay that income. So either fees are close to zero and you get no significant dividends or fees are high, which you said it won't be. So how does that work?

I cant exit by clicking the x on the top right. It's not sending me any confirmation email so i am not registered yet and it seems i can't do anything at all.

1683  Economy / Economics / Re: Which stocks to buy? on: May 29, 2023, 04:25:48 PM
try to enter bank shares, or also giant companies like goole or tesla. I think google and tesla are still good to consider as an investment place to buy shares. if there are stocks about AI, I think they are a must have for us, AI is very popular now, even though it is a short trend but worth trying to invest. if you want to go long term try to get into real estate stocks or gold mines.
Why tesla though? Chart doesn't look that promising so i am not seeing anything from the point of technical analysis that would.

Google on the other hand seems to recover strongly and i has a change for a very bullish year coming but that montly candle seems too strong at this point. I would wait for retrace before entering.

For fundamental side of TSLA, for any bigger investors this is a truly high risk bet, as when CEO is unhinged and pretty much destroys his PR in his free time, that naturally affects to company PR. I would avoid that. And looking at the charts, investors avoid it as well as while it's not in a free fall it needs ton of confidence to start the recovery.
1684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the Next Great 1000x on: May 29, 2023, 03:08:59 PM
The 1000x move has already happened with both imho.  PEPE and FLOKI are now both too high in market cap to make a 1000x.  And they're also now both crowded trades.  I think that's another good criteria for a great 1000x coin...  'Buy it low while no one is looking'.  As at the moment everybody online knows about the trade, it means you're already too late.

I think PEPE was a good example of the criteria.  I guess the next thing to look out for is if DOGE has SHIB and FLOKI, what are their versions in PEPE?  Find out and buy while nobody's looking.
Exactly. Your changes are better when the token or coin is new and no one is yet talking about it. I'll look at fundamentals and tokenomics, but most overlooked thing is, is it going to be memeable? Is it something that moves masses and maybe it has a logo that might as well be a tattoo as it's so cool. That has always been a winning combination for me.

If it's outside of real world markets, like not real estate etc. further from it the better. Rebellious people of the web and young people are not so interested in traditional markets. Leave that to suits, this is crypto. Traditional is boring. Buy a token that basically has no marketcap and a funny name. Or picture of diamond eyed wasted duck and flp it with $10k-$100k and we are talking. That keeps people talking.

Plus side is of it is that it annoys the hell out of old traditional investors that someone is making millions with things that they are never going to grasp. At some point they try to copy the idea but fail as unoriginal hacks.
1685  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: May 29, 2023, 02:46:24 PM

People want to make themselves satisfied in playing gambling reason why they keep playing more, people trying to risk on their life and hoping to win a game we know how much money that the gambling can give depends on your bet so if you manage to hit a jackpot its will become a good profit at the end but what it is cost?, tons of money and time not all the time every we play there's a winning sometimes red days of losing comes through. I manage to win almost 1200$ before and quit after hitting jackpot at the end of the day I win with my budget of $200 USD. I tried again playing slot games that time but didn't manage to win at the end the half of the budget get loss in the game.
Well to some of us big wins isn't the only reason for gambling. Point is to spend time and winning can make it more fun past time.
I know that might sound unreasonable but big wins aren't always a good thing. It might sound like the goal of the whole casino but those big wins are what get people with addictive personalities addicted. Brain is funny that way it remembers big wins better more clearly then hundreds tiny losses. This is where we lose track and wonder how we end up losing.

For example, i am not playing my winnings. My budget is tiny but it keeps my gambling habit fun and i can continue to gamble weekly without getting broke, i am using only half of the money i used to buy tobacco each week. Now that i quit smoking, i count gambling as better addiction. When i decided this i understood that addiction isn't always a bad thing. I for example am not denying my addiction, but i am easily addicted to anything fun. Gaming, social media, tik tok videos, walking in a forest. But i keep unhealthy addictions in check with set of personal rules i don't break.

So i don't need to quit gambling. Not quitting after winning big might not make sense to people who are trying to get rich with it. But it's comparable to my gaming habits.
1686  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 28, 2023, 10:25:18 PM
Why does it have to always be the last game that will ruin the whole ticket/bet slip, I think this is the third time I am loosing in a roll, I was very confident I was going to win this one, I followed it till the third game was played and yeah, the three games won successfully, I concluded I've won this one and went offline, I went back to stake the next day hoping to make some withdrawals 😂, only to discover that my account was not credited with my winning, I was ready to contact customer but on a second thought, I decided to check my bet ticket first, and on doing so, I discovered I lost in the last game, I felt really disappointed 😥..
And I can't stop asking myself, why is it always the last game that destroys the entire ticket...?.
I hear you, i do combo bets all the time and i even tried to reduce the amount since it failed always towards the end of the list. If you are anxiously waiting and watching live, the dissapointment is even more crushing.

Now i am thinking that if i am not at all sure about the outcome, i just leave those bets out and keep it in 3-5 combo bets. That's not going to bring me millions but maybe after a while it adds up. I save the bets not taken and put those to slots machines. So maybe i'll get lucky there Smiley
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: FTT comeback on: May 28, 2023, 10:11:21 PM
I wonder that people will again trust this exchange after bankrupting. Many users loses big money here and they not paid to these old users then how they dare to start operation once again just by adding new CEO. It's very hard to get trust of hearts broken investors.

Their token is not completely down despite of complete stop of exchange. people still holding token and token price increased after this news but i don't think that it will again rise like before.
Obviously not. Their whole name is a synonym of everything that failed in last bubble. Even nocoiners know the name FTX. They might not know what really happened but since everyone is blaming FTX the whole brand is tainted to the point of no recovery. I think that people reviving this smell the money as FTX has infra in place to make money so people believing in this might get themselves some big play money and important titles easier then by starting a new exchange, which they would do if they were serious.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT OR MEMES on: May 28, 2023, 09:59:31 PM
Not for both.
Previously, NFTs were very good, it's just that their hype is over now and I think it's not really worth it anymore in terms of investment, especially talking for the long term.
As for Meme, we clearly know that something like this is not possible because the risks are indeed very big.
I prefer to be in something that is certain than having to constantly be in something that is uncertain like that because in my opinion now for memes it is not an investment but includes gambling because we only hope for luck with the pump there.
I don't get this argument. Some Nfts are still doing fine, i would say better then most memem coins. Obviously there are ton of rug pulls and projects that are not taking off as market is overly saturated by garbage, but there are few good ones still.

They aren't as liquid as meme tokens but if you buy nfts i don't think instant liquidation is something you are looking for. But i have personally flipped some garbage nfts as well with pretty good profit. I have also aped in into some rug pulls. but that comes with the territory.
1689  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making a x10 or x100 by short selling on: May 28, 2023, 09:46:04 PM
Hi there is a lot of talk about finding opportunities to make a x10 or a x100.

But I think it is easier to make a x10 by selling short...any tips to get the best ROI possible by selling short?

How can I know which coins would have earned me x10 if I had sold short in the last few months?
That doesn't make much sense, it's not "easier" if you don't know markets are going down. Bull market could com in the middle of your shorting so "easier" is not the word in here any more then if you claim it's easy to predict market direction. Obviously you can say it would be easy to make million dollars if you bought in crypto in 2012 but you would be wrong. It's easy only in hindsight.
1690  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: May 28, 2023, 09:09:40 PM
I'm a bit surprised by the replies of some members who say that you should leace the casino as soon as you make some profit. This is a bit absurd because what gamblers usually want is to have fun not to make a profit. Besides, according to their reasoning, you are at profit if you don't gamble, so my question is: why do you waste your time and money on an activity that you don't even like and exercising it would, most of the times, result in you losing money?
I understand their argument but those aren't really "gamblers" in traditional sense. If they are occasionally throwing a buck in a slot machine or what ever, they are just normal people having fun and they can't believe their luck if they win. It's their right to quit while up and hats of to them keeping it fun. But i don't get that how big they need to win in order to completely leave? Because i haven't won life changing amounts but i have won big. If i would left right after i won first time, it would have been 20 bucks or something. Is that really worth leaving?Smiley. I wonder what they see as a limit for quitting.
1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT/METAVERSE price movement, prediction and discussion on: May 28, 2023, 09:02:11 PM
I wonder if NFT based games still relevant, the rumour in regard of GTA 6 with its cryptocurrency rewards which might be in NFT might be massive and turning point for many NFT projects.
NFT game honestly seems like very interesting concept but just done wrongly since so many NFT game are just remake of the existing shitty game added with cryptocurrency feature, like NFT, which is honestly kinda obvious why it doesn't sustain for long.
I really don't understand why people have taken these rumors seriously. Even Forbes india publihed an article where they stated that GTA6 is reportedly including cryptocurrency rewards.

But no one from rockstar has said anything even close to crypto being implemented in any form. Even mobile developers are struggling with the concept of pay tp play as it's just not sustainable nor it makes any sense.
I would see that in the future some people get paid to do chores in games, but those are paid by other players. Similar to people selling accounts that are grinded to high levels.
1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas to get my project infront of investors? on: May 28, 2023, 02:44:58 PM
How can I effectively attract investors to support my to build user-friendly investment platform tailored for new and starting investors, and promote the adoption of the community token $PIGSBY?

I'm already active on telegram and twitter and other social media channels, i've got hundreds of people want to promote my project on twitter and telegram, shilling, raiding and that kinda activity.
This is not what i want, i'm already researching airdrops / giveaways / launchpads and so on. We already launched last week and waiting on etherscan.io to update our info.

Do you guys have any ideas for me how te make my project known to the public and investors?
Please check my website and let me know what you think about that to. That would be great!
-cut-
You might not ever get users no matter the tactic, and most likely if you are paying with that promotion campaign with your own tokens, those are just going to be a sell pressure now or later. Those people will not be your customers, they are advertising because you pay them, and in twitter it's most likely that their followers are just other spamming bounty hunter accounts.

People spamming in telegram is a sure way for me not to buy that something because that type of advertisement is borderline harassing.

What comes to your token, i could see myself buying it if it was trading in L2 like arbitrum or polygon. I am not fan of the eth fees.
1693  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: May 27, 2023, 03:53:05 PM
Using artificial intelligence to make bets is not the best because we might suddenly get blocked and lose our funds if the casino we are using get to know about that. I think a time will come when crypto casinos would be using bot detectors to cach people or gamblers that are found of using rib to make bets. I still don't see good reason to use robot to make vet but whatsoever reason, we need to be careful.
This is weird claim. How would they know about it and how would that be against terms of service?

I see no reason to use AI either but people have been using scripts for crash-type games since forever. And at least one casino has their own window to write that script. It doesn't help because there are no algorithms that could beat casino's edge. But people still keep trying. I guess fot that same reason they would try AI as well. Casinos would know that it doesn't help so they wouldn't or couldn't ban it.
1694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: May 27, 2023, 03:48:16 PM
I have no idea how it can make a big deal in gambling if it's all about data analysis when the game is all about luck. I only think of these AI are something good to roll your dice depending on your most recent roll but it's already being done and made by the casinos, most of them have the autoroll feature.
But we are talking about poker, that's not just about pure luck. Otherwise same people wouldn't keep ending up to finals, it would be totally random bunch of people every time. With live poker, if you don't have a clue who is being played out from the table it's probably you. You can sense a lot on what people bet and on which kind of hands, who is losing their cool and then there are just pure mathetmatical probablilities you could count if you have a good head for it. With AI you don't have to count.

Then there's the confirmation bias, if we start to think that we are losing unnaturally lot, we start to notice every loss and our brains is wired so that it's telling me that we are doing something wrong or the game is rigged. Somehow we tend to forget that if there's a chance to won a lot, there must be a chance to lose as much and more. Somehow we don't think the game is rigged if we win a lot.

If you play long enough entually there will be a day when huge amount of your bets are going to be a losing bets in a row. It's just as certain that there will be a day you will win big. That's just probability statistics.
The reason why we tend to lose if we play longer is that we have a very limited bankroll to cover a losing streak. The casino has an unlimited fund that's why even if you win 100 times straight, you will still lose eventually because there's a that you will lose the same streak or more than the highest winning streak since it's a game of chance.

That's why it's better to set target profit and target lose everytime you will gamble to ensure that you can control your bankroll win or lose scenario.
Well, yes but since technically it's about about probability, there's a chance that casino doesn't win your money even in long run. It's just high probability, and with enough people playing, it's more likely casinos end up making profit. But i agree with your bankroll control methods. Setting limits to my playing is essential for keeping it fun. As it might have fun to gamble for the rush and fear. But those have too high stake real world consequences for me.

Popular action-adventure game series Grand Theft Auto is reportedly set to include cryptocurrency rewards in its upcoming upgraded version - GTA 6. The sequel to GTA 5, which is anticipated to be released in 2023 or 2024, is anticipated to be a major upgrade from its record-breaking predecessor. The latest instalment is likely to integrate blockchain technology to implement its crypto-based reward system.
https://www.forbesindia.com/article/crypto-made-easy/gta-6-could-introduce-a-crypto-reward-system/77777/1

GTA is one of my favorite console games, if they really develop this then it will definitely grow big.
Much of that sounds like just heavy speculation. I would welcome this but there are a big crowd out there that passionately hate crypto and nfts. And since it most likely would be a small part of the game, they might need to drop it. Just the outcry and boycott doesn't suit well with a company that's trying to make money. And on top of that laws on cryptos are still just forming and company could face some serious trouble for basically same reasons other crypto firms do.
1697  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎉BetFury Affiliate Program is live| 💸Earn with RevShare up to 60% on: May 26, 2023, 03:32:10 PM
Usually that is true, but not every single time. You could get a lot of losses that will eventually make you run out of money and there is no return from there, it just doesn't work like that. I have seen people turn just a few dollars into thousands of dollars and then end up losing it all back again. Casinos have house edge on their side which means that it would not be possible for anyone to just keep on gambling and win.

If you gamble long enough, then you are going to end up with a loss eventually and that is the end of it, that's just going to be the case for sure, without a doubt. I hope that it gets to a point where it will not be possible for anyone to just keep on gambling for a long time and still not face 20+ losses in a row, if you keep gambling, you will reach that one day.
Reaching 20 losses in a row is not much, I have seen up to 40 losses in a row , that when I was playing at that time I came to think that the casino did not want to let me win more and that they were signing me up to lose, but then I began to Investigate about the probably fair and from there a great interest came from many people who wanted to beat the system, and remembering those times where I played so much, I wonder if the AI in the near future if it has that capacity, because it is not difficult for it nothing to learn, it is a matter of days , for you to Learn something at a master level.

1698  Economy / Economics / Re: Which stocks to buy? on: May 26, 2023, 10:44:22 AM
Now the economic sector has sunk, and is it worth buying shares, if so, in which area? I am considering buying shares of any Internet publications and large companies, is there a demand for them and will there be an increase in shares?
Why internet publications of all things? If you are talking about traditional news and story sites, those are going to be in trouble soon. AI content is growing rapidly and that area will get flooded as AI:s can produce exponentially more quality content with deepfake propaganda so fast that it will be impossible to fact check faster then new content comes out.

After a while there needs to be a way to filter news to some sort of fact check but before that happens, so many publications have gone broke.

Things like Reddit and onlyfans will probably thrive as people need connection to other people if you consider those as publications.
1699  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Defi protocol free from the government on: May 26, 2023, 10:31:13 AM
Let's talk about decentralized finance DeFi, is there any way possible that the government can regulate DeFi protocol? I see that it's easier to go after Centralised exchanges than decentralized projects, do you think there is a way to make defi projects betray decentralization because of the wrath of the government? Drop your thoughts.

If the company or a person running a Defi protocol is able to hide their identity, there's no way for a government to regulate them directly. However a government can always use a strong internet firewall to restrict access for it's citizens. So indirectly a government can regulate them.

Defi is posing a huge risk in the mainstream financial market today as it is very very easy to convert the black money into white. So it's a security risk as well as these can be easily used to finance terrorism activities and any kind of illegal money transactions.
In theory governments could not regulate DeFi, but the problem is that nothing is really decentralized. Most DeFi organizations have a central figures, commercial browsers need permission to have wallets as attachments, and as long as we are ultimately valuating things in fiat money, or dealing with fiat money at all.

And if we want to keep current form of civilization that has taxes, we need to have transparency on wealth and AML laws. This is where FATF comes in and basically renders any cryptocurrency unusable that you can't prove where you got it from.

Things have become way more complex and while it's still possible to launder money i am not going to give any examples how to do that as i don't think it's ethical. But DeFi is not the key element in that.
1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask Implemented Crypto Tax on their ToS on: May 26, 2023, 10:18:06 AM
For a while now this wallet has been accelerating towards centralization, it has started freezing addresses and now imposing taxes, I expect that after a while they will provide a service where you can store your private key because they are afraid that you might lose that key.
-cut-
I see something like this a very possible scenario. Many countries have very strong consumer protection laws and i always felt like concepts like self custody and permissionless transfers is something that wouldn't fit automatically in on those.

Basically centralized provider of services that is handling your money should be ultimately responsible for it and repayments. But these laws were done before permissionless immutable payments were a thing so they are operated on uncharted waters and everything is very much still on grey area. This however is going to be temporary. This is why i assume if bitcoin or other becomes a legal tender, things get very much complicated for these companies.
