shall see how this turns out. have 8 "extras" going to try and sell off for paypal at a markup.....hubs i planned on using them are not handling them very nice

quick update...not sure what changes i made (moved a bunch of cables around...pretty much) but all 57 are now hashing and powered by the 30amp 5volt (along with a usb wifi card)  and some 12v miners. power supply is a champ!
that's "roughly" 57/2 = 28.5 amps if all are powered exclusively on the 5V ATX rail...  that's pushing it... Smiley but yes, that is one good PSU, hope it lasts!

any idea if i can use a 24pin splitter?
If you are thinking of trying to power up multiple hubs, you will need a 5V rail with about 30 Amps for EACH hub.
that's just not going top happen with a "normal" off the shelf PSU.

philipma1957 has found this PSU:

http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/58-12860
use code   afc909     get a 15% discount  to under  14 bucks plus shipping!

It should be tested Wed/Thur to know for sure, but from the specs, it looks to be a great PSU to power one of these hubs (for the $).

Mine is due to my home on weds I will test it and post in this thread and in crazy guy's thread.   they had a lot in stock .

I just went to the link and added 200 to my cart they only have 153 in stock...  So waiting may be smarter  then buying.

My results should post  in about 20 hours.

Thanks!
you are welcome  the psu part should arrive  in about 7 hours.  I will post.
And it's a no go on this MCM PSU... Bummer but I guess you get what you pay for...  I'd say it seemed too good to be true.
DO NOT BUY THE MCM PSU. it does not work.

I guess the whole business of "binding" is just a joke here with 0 repercussions...

The mcm psu's are under powered and burn up around 33 sticks.
The 30+ amp isn't delivering!!?? Seriously? False advertisement or bad PSU?

1707  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 42 ASICMINER direct shares on: October 30, 2013, 08:27:35 PM
what's up with this? seems like the auction has been over for quite some time and you also got a div payout after the auction ended of 0.0035336*42=0.1484112 on these 42 shares?

Sorry, I just have so much to do lately. As agreed in PM, you can take the share cyclops doesn't want to pay.

You can deduct this week's payment from your winning bid:
CanaryInTheMine 42 @ 0.665

42 x 0.665 = 27.93 BTC
27.93 - 0.1484112 = 27.7815888 BTC

27.7815888 BTC to be paid to 18CoGAeLJzwG3iLkBj1vARYDWW7eC7qUQ1

If you wish to wait for a signature for proof of ownership, please provide an email and address to give to friedcat. They will be included with payment instruction and transfer approval in signature.

Thanks, I PMed TAT

so I added NMC addy to my config yesterday for fun... nothing paid out yet however as of now.  how often are NMC paid out, any place I can see stats related to NMC?

Don't know your answer, but i think it is linked to your btc minimum payout option, i lowered that and then i started to receive nmc daily.

Also make sure that "NMC_Address=blablblahblah" is actually displayed on your my eligius page, near the submit changes button. I had to submit my info. a couple times to get it to work.
I definitely see the NMC addy here, where you set your options: http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/mystats.php?cmd=options

but when looking at my user stats page, only btc info is available, not NMC, but I suspect this is normal as not all features have been enabled yet...

I have the payout set to default, so does this mean that NMC will payout when their balance is equivalent to btc's minimum payout value?

"out for delivery" looks like delivery will be about 48 hours after payment. maybe BFL needs to make a new hire  Wink

corsair 1200 claims 30 amp on 5v  up to 180 watts between 3 and 5 volts and it's currently only being used on 12 volt so should be set

will update with pictures on delivery
I am often imitated, but never duplicated!  Grin
the 30 amp 5v ATX should work like a champ for you! 122.5/180 = 68%

1720  Economy / Computer hardware / ASICMiner Block Erupter 49 port USB Hub with USB miners on: October 29, 2013, 10:38:55 PM
in stock and shipping (new, assorted colors):
price: 1.75 btc
payment address: 1L3XSZpfsZtEXLwDDYjJfJHncaPxAngAyV
requires ATX PSU that has about 30 Amps on the 5 V rail.  less amps on the 5 V rail will not power all 49 USB miners.
