17241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [ATTN] Let's Mine Ixcoins Guys! on: August 26, 2011, 03:26:46 AM
Thomas did a COPY, PASTE, RECOMPILE to the ixcoin source. Copied the difficulty adjustment of Solidcoin.

ALL FIXED!

Okay guys it's time to mine ixcoins!

Go get 'em!  Cheesy

EDIT: Nevermind come back in two weeks.
17242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANNOUNCE] SolidCoin - new and improved block chain. Secure from pools on: August 26, 2011, 03:24:51 AM

Ixcoin now integrates  blatantly copies SolidCoin's difficulty algorithm.

I hope this fix will make the blockrate smoother on the Ixcoin blockchain. I'd like to thank the Solidcoin community for this.

17243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Are Ixcoins/Thomas Nasakioto a scam/scammer? on: August 26, 2011, 03:23:45 AM
Bitcoin is an open source concept. It will have forks. Albeit way too early, forks exist. This does not make anyone a scammer any moreso than Satoshi himself. The only rwason you think Satoshi is not a scammer is because you weren't aware of Bitcoin before. It has existed in concept for ages. It has once taken the identity 'e-gold'. Bitcoin is unique as much as it is interesting. It's also yet to be proven as a viable economic model on a global scale. I'm backing Bitcoin while it makes sense to. If another fork that makes more sense to modern economic rules pops up, I'll use that. Ixcoin is an unsuccessful, uninteresting deviation. I see no reason to invest. That doesn't make it a scam, even if the motives of the author were to pump amd dump. As far as you know, those are Satoshi'z motives as well. Get real.

Also, good job hiding the true numbers by setting a time limit on the poll. I vote no.

This coming from the guy who was trying to be the bitcoin BBB? Lol

Yep. I learned a valuable lesson in that naive attempt to help the community from an authoratative stand point. A real eye opener actually. We do need something like it though (obviously), but I made a grave mistake In both preperation and presentation. That's why I handed it over to the Bitcoin Police to use however they see fit. They are way more respected and knowledgable about this community than I.

Now back on topic, I have yet to see a valid argument against new block chains and although I already mentioned I think they are way too early in the game to be taken seriously, they do have a use in this on-going Bitcoin experiment. If you want to complain about a useless and scammy subset of the Bitcoin community, why not talk about the worthless and degrading Ponzi schemes and spreadsheet games? I'd rather have a reporter state a fact about the community being 'confused about block chains' than a lie about 'Bitcoin only being useful for scams and gambling'.

It doesn't take a genius or a reporter to tell that premining 580,000 ixcoins then releasing the client is ridiculously a scam.

At least coinhunter put ALL 30,000 premined solidcoins up for bounties. Thomas did less than half of his 580k.

I'm flattered you went through all that to make a chart about how you THINK I trade lol. Cheesy

Hey now. Quit backing me up here or tomorrow we'll either be the same people, or in a homosexual relationship.

At least our relationship could be considered monogomous. Unlike smoothie who seems to find comfort in a circle-jerk.

LOL seriously this back and forth is hilarious. Watching oldtimer get his panties in a twist and failing lol.

Hey smoothie, I have several thousand testnet coins. I'll sell them to you for .001 BTC/per. Maybe you can turn around and scam someone out of .002/per if you are wise about it.

+1

He would if he could

Actually no. If there was an exchange I would take the coins and exchange them but no Oldminer/Thomas I'm not like you.

I prefer honest transactions and not premined dixcoins.

Honest? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAL:KDBJSF:IK?BSF:"LOIBUN

You scammy fucktard.

i guess using DoubleC's exchanges are scammy so I guess all who use them are scammers including DoubleC.

it is the mere fact that the title of the thread is directed at ixcoins and Thomas Nasakioto. Nowhere did I intend for this to be about you. But you sure took it as such. lol  Cheesy

Ah...but wait...

I recall another spammy thread you started around here claiming Thomas and I were one and the same person yet now you accept were not.  Huh

Are you schizophrenic too?

If you go back and look oldtimer you will notice that I did not start that initial thread.

Irrelevant. Fact is your the main proponent of the claim. Nice attempt at weaseling your way out of it though  Grin
Wat?

Everyone is owning Oldminer today. LOL
