ok I have a question: Is everything ok in Kharkiv now?
I have a chance to run a marathon there in April and it seems fairly safe at the moment...
SBU is pretty active since summer, as well as anti-government activists.

http://uatoday.tv/politics/explosion-at-kharkiv-cafe-hosting-azon-battalion-fundraiser-labelled-terrorist-attack-390858.html

Stay away from politics (pro- or anti-russian) and everything will be ok. Otherwise you can be abducted by SBU or  activists.
Well I would definitely stay away from any politics there, I am not sure, I would like to go, but not if it is really dangerous.

1784  Economy / Speculation / Re: commission free trading on bitstamp till Jan 17th on: January 10, 2015, 08:05:40 PM
Their order book has now almost three times more orders in it than last night shortly after they re-opened. People seem to be getting more confidence in them again.

Observe how quickly crowd's mood changed from "fuck centralized exchanges" when they were closed to "wow nice business" when they opened and announced zero fees Smiley

We'll see if the volume "counts" when there are no fees on Bitstamp, because apparently it doesn't count when it happens on fee free Chinese exchanges.

It's touigh to imposible to beat the Vegas line in my opinion. I think there is something to be said for in play betting and catching points when the market is wrong, but Vegas wasn't built by them not knowing thier stuff!
1790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AnimeCoin [アニメコイン] ANI on: January 10, 2015, 11:12:20 AM
What would be the difference?
I think Animecoin was a good idea at the time, but the market has been so overloaded with Alts now that it doesn't really have a chance.
1791  Economy / Gambling / Re: ***** Sports Picks for 2015 ***** on: January 09, 2015, 06:00:56 PM

Would it be possible for you to clearly post which team you are backing?
For use English speakers it's a bit difficult to see!
All of my picks are Vippicks.
İf you want to see ,for january, you must contact with GT admin.
For February, i have a plan to sell my picks on Bitcointalk forum.

Why can't you post them here, you might get people actually buy them if you can impress with your picks.
Just seeing that you pick "something" and a result somehow doesn't mean as much. Also if you make people money, he will pay next time to get more tips.
1792  Economy / Gambling / Re: Guaranteed picks *** ONLY TODAY *** Free on: January 09, 2015, 05:49:04 PM

or bet at bet365 or william hill ....

EVERYONE WHO WINS PLEASE DONATE 10% OF WIN MINIMUM - 1Ma2K2s2z5AyXwc4TRwfroDGQzcbzsWzUp  ( please donate )

ask me my skrill id for skrill donations Smiley

If i dont get much donations i will stop posting Smiley

Match starts in 3-4 hrs, place it right now, its a guaranteed pick !!

Ther are certain terms that good gamblers use, "value" is an important one, "guarantee" is definitely not one of them. Nothing is guaranteed otherwise the would be no betting on the event.
1793  Economy / Speculation / Re: January 5th - Just bought 20 coins @ $277 on: January 09, 2015, 03:32:26 PM
No it hasn't. CHOW CHOW I want my money!

He didn't accept your terms, you can't just decide on the terms unilaterally and then expect to be paid. By the way the price did go over $300 shortly depending on which exchange or which average you look at.

Shut up fool, it was clearly stated that the price is the price on coinmarketcap. And the $300 wasn't reached on coinmarketcap.
He stated that the price will be and STAY at $300 by friday.

And I can decide what I want and I want my money - CHOW CHOW!

Stop being such a retard. Show me where in this thread Chow Chow agreed to your terms and confirmed the bet with you? He also clearly stated that the price would go over $300 before Friday, that doesn't mean the price had to still be over 300 on Friday. You can decide what you want but not what you deserve, and you deserve nothing.

This clown is sockpuppet account of CHOW CHOW. CHOW CHOW the biatch owes me 1 BTC and I want it now! He agreed to terms of bet because he did not reply in this thread.

EDIT: The price of $300 was never reached by today 12:00am on coinmarketcap - so shut your trap and give me my 1 BTC!

Did he confirm the bet by PM, or have you just decided that the bet was taken under your terms so you owed money?  Your arguement is even stupider it can be argued that you lost!  He wanted to bet that it would bo above $300 before friday. It was at one time over $300.  You should pay him his 1BTC.
1794  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Bitcoin exchange Bitstamp says to resume trading on Friday" on: January 09, 2015, 03:25:00 PM
They must mean next friday, otherwise they would have said today!
1795  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Oil for BTC? on: January 09, 2015, 08:52:05 AM
There is a website called dubious correlations, I think this belongs there.
I don't see global oil production or usage bring linked to the bitcoin price at all!
1796  Economy / Economics / Re: Questions regarding MT.GOX fall and Willy the Bot. on: January 08, 2015, 01:27:06 PM
A bot inflated the price, then mt gox got hacked. I don't really see the connection though, maybe the subsequent fall makes sense but not the rise before the hack, unless it wad a really crazy plan where they knew they could take the coins at will but chose to wait, inflate the market at their own risk, then steal and sell out!
1797  Economy / Speculation / Re: So, why did Bitstamp suspend fiat withdrawals? on: January 08, 2015, 01:21:46 PM
After all, this was just a small "hack" where some "hackers" stole a few bitcoins, right?

So, why did the Stamp guys suspend all fiat withdrawals?

No need to do that, or what?

Unless, of course, the Stamp guys actually have something to hide ... But that obviously can't be true!!! It's not like some Bitcoin exchange owner would ever tell a lie to his customers! That's impossible!
Didn't they have a recent audit? What are they trying to hide, in your opinion?
1798  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: !!!!!!!!! DONT WASTE YOU TIME AT 777COIN.COM!!!!!!!!! on: January 08, 2015, 01:14:57 PM
no good respond from lightlord for you issue?

Well about 6 days later so some what disappointed with the whole affair.  He offered to just refund what I lost there but the actual fact is I went on from that site and lost over 1 BTC due to getting upset playing at 777coin. I had issues before at Coinroyale and they fully refunded me and I went on to lose it back to them but I don't mind losing if it's my fault not a so called bug with the website. With 777coin I decided to try it since they recently added Blackjack but little did I know what a joke it is and cost me over 1 Bitcoin for the experience.

I'm a bit confused about this. What exactly happened? You couldn't withdraw or you lost because something upset you?
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your favorite type of gambling? on: January 08, 2015, 01:08:36 PM
I am surprised that there isnt a Solitare type gambling website out there. That game was sure addicting on Windows 95 when you were at work

There is one .  http://bitsolitaire.com/
I think there might be more, but only know of that.
I though solitaire games were based on skills.
Plus solitaire isn't that popular now and only my grandpa plays it on his laptop, so I don't believe it would be as popular as other games.
There is some skill in solitaire I think.
I think chess would be much better for gambling if it somehow wasn't so easy to cheat.
