17922  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: UK based - where would you sell your BTC? on: January 03, 2014, 03:27:57 PM
bitbargain is OK but you have to take some seller tests which they take some BTC for

What tests and why do they charge you?
17923  Economy / Gambling / Re: LastWinsAll.com - Experimental game with simple rules on: January 03, 2014, 03:22:06 PM
Hmm mmm but you need some sort of time limit or people will think it's a scam, with no end in sight.  Maybe a range or somethin

Why would OP put a time limit on when he can just keep it going for as long as he can?
17924  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting trusted in the marketplace on: January 03, 2014, 03:19:11 PM
Alright, so I guess that when I get 4 activity I can post in the marketplace?

Nope, 4 hours' wait.

How are these shitcoins actually newsworthy? Seriously.
17926  Other / Off-topic / Re: Once BTC is $10,000 each, what car will you get if you HAD to choose? on: January 03, 2014, 02:48:45 PM
I would buy a nice bicycle. Much cheaper to run and good exercise. With the money saved I'd go travelling.
17927  Other / Off-topic / Re: DA FUQ AMAZON? on: January 03, 2014, 02:47:13 PM
Just delay in delivery?  I'm not sure I've seen that before.  Maybe there are weather issues?

Or maybe it's the NSA.
17928  Economy / Gambling / Re: LastWinsAll.com - Experimental game with simple rules on: January 03, 2014, 02:40:49 PM
Wait, couldn't you look at blockchain.info and see how much has been put in, and then just put in more to win?  but then people could keep doing that to give oyu more and more, and then you'll run away.

You need to set a drop dead time/date.

There is a time/date: 24 hours after the last bet.
17929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australia choses BITCOIN as word of the year for 2013 on: January 03, 2014, 02:40:08 PM
Better than ours which I believe was 'selfie'. Although Bitcoin was nominated. Hopefully Bitcoin will be the word of 2014.
17930  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Questions regarding selling real estate for Bitcoins on: January 03, 2014, 02:29:42 PM
Hi,

Being a newbie (here) I'll just post my Q here for now.
I have a property I'm currently putting in the market for just above $500,000. (official ask is $525K). It's a beautiful beachfront house in Nicaragua, inside a well established community, right by some of the most amazing surfing beaches in the world. The house is renting throughout the year, and Nicaraguan laws making international investment and ownership very easy. (Think Costa Rica about 15 years ago)

I'm thinking about offering it for bitcoins. My questions:
1) I'll obviously be willing to use an Escrow service, and willing to pay commision. I fully own the deed to the house and can  wait until the deed is transferred. Are there any bitcoin Escrows that are specializing in Real Estate?
2) I would like to convert most of the coins back to fiat. Considering the amount and volatility, what's the best way to do it quickly? I don't want to stay "long naked" bitcoin for days.
3) As alternative to #2: What's the best way to hedge a bitcoin? Are there any reliable tradable futures / options?
4) Can I reasonably expect/ask for a higher $ value because of the risk? Or simply because I'm aiding someone transferring his bitcoin wealth to Real Estate wealth?
5) Any other things I should be aware of?

Thanks for any input!

Use bitpay. It converts straight to fiat and there's no need for an escrow. I don't see why anyone would pay more than it's worth in BTC. Usually people give discounts.

It may be as well that while you seem trustworthy you may have products that are too expensive for people to risk it, I've had products up for sale quite awhile now myself but I think there are some people that must be getting scared off by it because they don't want to place an order and then have nothing show up a week later. It'd be a good idea to give us an idea of the pricing because I'm currently working on some digital products now that will be a lot cheaper than my physical stuff so they should be more willing to part with their money, after that, it's all just a matter of quality and whether people are interested in the product or not.

Nah it's cool..

I am selling spotify premium 1 month codes

Usually sell them for 6-7 USD so I don't think that'd be a huge problem?

You should be ok. Not sure if there'll be a huge demand for em though. How much do premium accounts go for?

Theese are not accounts

they are codes you apply to your own account.

So far, I've sold over 500 of theese on different sites and forums

Accounts / codes; same jiff.

I can see this coin is going from bad to worse Cheesy

A coin went from a serious sexual assault to rap music and that was worse?

it was never meant to be serious hilariousandco.

I never said it was.

Just send your bitcoins to the address in my sig instead. At least I'll be honest and say you'll never get it back. And stop posting your scams in the newbie forum, don't you feel the slightest bit guilty targetting newcomers?

Do scammers ever? Well, unless they get doxxed then they miraculously have a change of heart.

Hey been lurking on this forum for a LOOOOOOOONG time. I registered on the forum to expand my sales of some codes onto BTC for a wider audience, would I need to make a word for myself before even actually getting a sales thread when I can get out of the newbie area?

What would prove that I would be legt? Like give out 3-4 codes to people to vouch to see that I don't actually bite.. or are people simply too cautious to newly registered account like m?

You can get out of the newb forum by now waiting four hours. You can start your own sales thread then. People are naturally cautious about dealing with any members on here. I'd advise using escrow for deals and not sending out codes first as you'll likely be scammed yourself.

Okay, what escrow service is the one used most?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=108716.0

What codes are you selling?

I noticed that too... Oh well, at least mine is from a movie no one can guess.  Cool

The City of Lost Children.

You seem a talent forum poster. Smiley There is good order in your texts... Why dont you come to my forum and we work together??

Thanks for your offer. I am just a casual lurker here who replies to topics that catch my eye. It would be too stressful for me to post as a "job". I believe most people wouldn't mind to do a few guides for a fixed amount of btc, but 50 is a lot, especially if they have to be of "instruction guide quality".

May be you can offer different rates for different things. Posting a youtube link with a short description is much easier than
writing a guide. So, let's say 10 guides for 0.005btc; and 10 youtube links for 0.0005btc or something, I don't know....

Well i think it's fair exchange. You will regret later not be part of it. I alsothink youtube easier. All you need take youtube url and make few lines explanation... I think there is 2000 videos out there and if you do the job you get more of BTCs. 0.01 *20 makes about 0.20 BTC not bad i guess..

So if I post 20 youtube videos with a paragraph description each I'll get 0.20BTC?

What do you mean  Now is the initial transaction with 0.0001 BTC?

The first transaction with 0.0001 BTC was made (blockchain.info).

So...? Somebody makes a bigger bet and they win what? 99% of whatever they bet plus 0.0001BTC?
