This coin is dead.
If it hadn't been premined by the dev and insta-sold on the 'first day' then maybe it would have had a chance. I have some in my wallet, but I'm just gonna forget about it and tell my friends that I posses it.

Hi all my first post here.  What opinions do you have on the amount of new coins appearing? Is it a good thing? More competition and dev staff having to keep 'on the ball' or a bad thing in that it makes the whole alt coin arena seem somewhat a joke and rife with scams? (I belive it may well kill the alt coin market) Comments?? Cheers all.. It's a double-edged sword. Personally I think most of these crapcoins are exactly that, but you can make a little cash from them if you get in early and mine them, then trade them for BTC etc. But there's also a lot of naive newbs that are left holding the coins thinking they’re gonna become rich off them in the future, but when the miners and users move on to another coin, the value drops and they're left holding a load of worthless crap. |

Oh, and use a trusted escrow if you do whom will send the money to me and the charity upon completion of the deal . If we can gather enough donations together, I'll gladly arrange for an escrow. I really don't understand why Gravity is nominated for best picture, it's a crappy movie with a crappy plot and awful acting, can someone explain me what's so great about this film?

it's not so many spam if you get used to it, I see bitcointalk as a crosstype of a forum and a chat so everyone is expressing their minds in short posts but longer then in a chat room if you know what I mean? So, that makes it ok? Do you try to sell something to every single person you talk to in real life, or beg them to go to a store and drop your name so you get a kickback? Do you wear branded clothing or eat and drink from branded packaging? Nobody is selling or begging you try anything here, nor is anybody forcing you to do anything. You can also turn signatures off in your profile. |

Can anyone clarify for me:
How does the FBI have access to the bitcoins? They have unencrypted wallet.dat file or they know the password?
I read all the time about how bitcoins can't be seized... so what happened in the case of DPR's bitcoins?
They arrested him with the laptop open and got the private keys. Pretty sure they compromised the server too. If he was smart, he would have used a brain wallet. One of the few recommended reasons. He's an even bigger idiot then if this is what happened. I think the NSA cracked his personal stash or got the passwords one way or another, not 100% though. Yeah he was in a library chillin on his laptop. He obviously had delusions of grandeur and other mental problems. The kind of money he was earning must've gone to his head. I bet being DPR would’ve been a bit of a rush. That kinda money obviously did go to his head when he's hiring people to whack users who become a possible threat to his business empire. And I think a bit of a rush would be an understatement. The levels of smug he must've achieved would be staggering. Not so much when he got caught though . |

Yeah, but not if people keep necro-ing his posts . There's a few other sig images dotted around. Out of interest, what was the reason for removing them? The same reason we're thinking about getting rid of signature advertising... it was super fucking annoying. Would it be possible to add a ignore sig function like the ignore Button? While I find the sig advertising annoying, I don't want to totally ignore sigs. Some of my favorite YouTube channels are from sids here. Beeiing able only to ignore sigs of specific users would be great. I was thinking about that or maybe an option to chose to ignore paid sigs etc. Rat

Maybe someone can help me out with this: if activity = min(post, twoweeks*14), and my post count is near 100, then how can my activity is showing up 42? I think that I even spent more than 3 times twoweeks around here, so anyway should be higher.
Any help would be very welcome.

One of Bitcoin's betting sites come to mind, albeit I'm not citing one of them thanks to last April's fiasco. The awards will air on February 30, 2014, (March 2, for those who don't observe http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_History_Month). I first learnt about this flick via NPR late last year, and just now viewed the trailer. I truly believe this one will win Best Picture of the Year, considering... ~TMI BTCITW You think it's going to win an Oscar based merely on the trailer? Actually, I haven't even seen the trailer but I reckon it'll probably win . |
