181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: General Motors May Start Accepting Bitcoin If There's Customer Demand on: June 16, 2021, 07:42:41 PM
If this even turns into reality someday, it will certainly take much time. This is because most of the big businesses today only observe each other when it comes to accepting bitcoins or any type of altcoin as a means of payment for their products or services. The only reason why she made such a statement may only be because a huge company announced their plans on accepting cryptos along with all the other good news circling around. But hey, be it a service provider or product seller,  as long as there is a huge demand, businesses will surely adjust to reach such market. So let's wait and see because this is truly possible.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: busd or USDT safe on: June 15, 2021, 05:58:46 PM
You have a point but the thing about BUSD is that its uses are quite limited compared to the USDT that the majority of people in this industry has been  very familiar with. Which makes it available on many exchanges and has several uses. Still though, BUSD is good to use despite its limitations since the binance chain is getting more and more popular nowadays plus most of the people love to trade on binance anyway so I don't see much problem with it. Everything just boils down to user preference. Maybe some time in the future there will be drastic changes that would make the first choice better than the latter but as of now, I am completely neutral.
183  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation expected as high as 4% in Apr in USA on: June 15, 2021, 04:02:40 PM
This is the figure for April, yet still quite a figure to be dealt with for those who live on salaries, that tend to go after the inflation, and great news for those who have a mortgage or own money, since they are on the winning side for now - until interest rates catch up.

How is this going to affect bitcoin? If we make an analogy with commodities and particularly those used on the industrial processes, it will have a lift effect in price, sometimes much higher that what could normally be for other assets. I think is a good moment to stockpile bitcoin, copper... even tin, although is a bit expensive already.

No matter the case, the devaluation of some assets is never a good thing for anyone, even if we say that they have other things that can doge the effects of inflation. But still though, it is still better than nothing right? Well, to some degree it is, just not enough.

The way it would affect bitcoin would be pretty positive since the way bitcoin currently is can make anyone interested with it. Specially the paranoid ones who are scared to death on having their assets devalued due to inflation. And yes, the more you diversify, the better. That is, if you put a limit to it so that you can manage your assets well enough to not have losses instead of gains in the long run.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bull market still exists on: June 15, 2021, 03:21:51 PM
At present, the market value of Bitcoin has returned to more than 46%, which is a sign that the margin ratio has decreased, the bubble has burst, and the market is accumulating power.

And I think we are currently in a century-long bull market in Bitcoin. In the short term, we are in a technical bear market after a major correction.

I think that meeting two conditions can determine that Bitcoin is in a bear market. 1. The price of Bitcoin must fall by about 80%, and the high point created by the bull market cannot be broken before the next cycle. 2. The lowest price in a bear market should not be lower than the highest price in the previous bull market.

At the end of 2017, the highest price of Bitcoin was $20,000, and if the current maximum price of 65,000 is calculated, when the price drops by 80%, the price of Bitcoin should be $13,000. And this obviously fell below the highest price of the previous bull market.

These two points can be confirmed in the Bitcoin rainbow chart:https://www.blockchaincenter.net/bitcoin-rainbow-chart/

Four years have passed, unless you think that Bitcoin has not improved in the past few years, the computing power has not increased, the number of users has not increased, and the consensus has not been strengthened. Otherwise, you don't need to worry that Bitcoin will be less than $20,000. Compared with the increase in value, the current price is simply a sales promotion.

The consensus on cryptocurrency is still expanding, and there emerged the first country in the world treating Bitcoin as its fiat. Bitcoin's network has withstood the impact, and the computing power of the entire network has only dropped from 160E to 120E (compared to less than 15E when it was 20,000 dollars high before the end of 2017). Bitcoin's core technology is developing steadily. One of the most significant upgrades this year, Taproot technology has been confirmed by more than 90% of miners and will be officially launched in November. Bitcoin's old friend, the Federal Reserve, is likely to continue to maintain quantitative easing. All this shows that the bull market still exists.

Please be sure not to sell your Bitcoin when the price is less than 100,000 USD.

Great analysis. Considering these reasons plus all the good news roaming around online which are in favor of not only bitcoin but also to the other alternative crypto currencies in this industry, we can easily deduce that we are still in a bullish market today. Just imagine how big the the famous people that supports bitcoins are. Instead of losing people, we are gaining more and more from different parts of the world that also varies in social status. These types of posts are really what interests me most. And so it deserves a merit. Thanks for the good read.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins have no use case on: June 14, 2021, 05:10:54 PM
I just cannot imagine myself investing on such coins. I have been in this industry since 2016 and I have seen many sorts of shitcoins and scams but I have never seen a huge number of dumb people investing on not just one but several shitcoins altogether without even considering their choices. What's worse is that they even have the audacity to get pissed off when you show some care and try to guve them advice. What a phase for crypto this year is. I would rather have a slow market than a market being swayed just by a few tweets from a single person.
186  Economy / Economics / Re: George Soros and Bezos have paid almost zero taxes on: June 14, 2021, 04:19:54 PM
This is really unfair for the people in the middle class. Specially when you think about how much work they do for only a few bucks whereas these billionaires barely do anything than use their heads in running their companies and checking on their investments. How can this be even called okay? People should do something about this. If not entirely equal, at least make some efforts to lessen the taxes of middle-class people. Doing such would go a long long way. Tax is needed but there should be equality between the middle-class people and the higher class people.
187  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When do you think World War 3 will take place? on: June 14, 2021, 03:54:49 PM
Luckily my friend, you can just relax and put yourself at ease since the big powerhouse countries aa of this moment are equally capable of destroying the world which is why fear for irreversible aftermaths take over more than the petty reasons they have to get into war. So until one side really goes crazy and starts firing nukes out of the blue, there will never be a world war 3. The most that they would probably be doing to each other is to try and piss the hell out of each other..
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cryptocurrency market is nearing the end of a bullish market? on: June 13, 2021, 06:53:12 PM
As of this moment, the market in my view isn't on the way to exit a bullish cycle but instead is currently exiting a bearish market. Although I see quite a few negative news or FUD going around the internet at the moment, I still believe that this will not do much with the market price. In fact, I think that the bears are starting to finally give up to make way for the bulls. I already bought back(just bitcoin though since it will be the one that has good potential to move up a lot at the moment).
189  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What does this go to prove in cryptocurrency? on: June 13, 2021, 04:33:42 PM
I must say that this is quite a risky move but is also something that has to be taken in order to make way for further innovation. And I applaud the leader of el Salvador for taking the risk. I know for sure that the first few weeks or months would be hellish adjustments for most of the people there who aren't even familiar with this industry yet but it will all be worth it when big mining businesses and other crypto related businesses start flocking in to this country. The economical benefits are just too amazing. I am pretty sure that a lot of leaders are keeping an eye over the progress of this situation. Some may probably be taking steps already to do just the same as the leader of el Salvador.
190  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you investing in crypto currency alone? on: June 13, 2021, 04:03:52 PM
Honestly, the economical status of our country is getting worse and worse as days go by with all of this modified community quarantines. Lots of people have been losing jobs and the unemployment rate just rises non-stop because of businesses closing or having lesser opening hours. Currently, I am only invested on crypto currencies since it has the least requirements at the moment and stocks right now here in my country aren't really doing well. If I could easily invest on foreign stocks though, I would gladly do so, too bad the availability for this isn't in a good state. :/
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What features should a good altcoin project have? on: June 12, 2021, 05:08:27 PM
When starting an investment we should evaluate the altcoin project very well. Investigate if it have use cases, what the community is like, the rewards system and what initiatives it is developing. Which altcoin project in your opinion do we have to get involved with to make a profit y why?

Indeed, what you have mentioned are some of the most important parts of an amazing project. But you forgot about the most important thing, which is the developers themselves and their backgrounds; whether or not they are reputable people and already posses a lot of experience in this industry. Along with how they carry out the plans stated on their roadmap and the timeliness of the developments. And of course, the way they interact with and how they manage the community within the said project.
192  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Geopolitics expert warns China preparing for TOTAL WAR against the United States on: June 12, 2021, 02:28:01 PM
There has already been a lot of tention between the unitade states and china. This fact was never a secret and was very out in the open for everyone to see. But despite this huge tension between the two power countries, I really do not think that any side would choose to resort to an all out war since both of these countries are pretty capable. So by the looks of it, they will just continue to piss off each other to some extent and avoid things that would lead to the point of no return since it will only result in more losses than gains considering the state of our world today.
193  Economy / Economics / Re: Own a house or rent one? Quick survey! on: June 12, 2021, 12:19:31 PM
The decision about this depends entirely on the salary grade and type of work. Now salary grade obviously influences the decisions on a person greatly if a person has too much bills to pay and does not have the luxury of reaching the requirements of a loan, then that person has no choice but to rent. About the type of work, a person decides depending on the things that his job requires out of him because there are jobs that gets you assigned on many places. Thus, makes renting more beneficial.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What your 2021 price prediction for shib token? on: June 11, 2021, 08:03:09 PM
Dump. That is the only direction that I can see memecoins like shiba heading. Developing such a coin is same as developing a huge prank on investors that would only make the developers and a few wise enough individuals to know when to buy and sell at the right time have the upper hand and gain lots of profits. You are basically throwing away hard earned money when investing on such coins. It would've been better to invest on well established coins that have reasonable goals than a memecoin with exaggerated fantasies.
195  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Latest on Twitter suspension in Nigeria on: June 11, 2021, 06:11:50 PM
Twitter is very essential for promotion and ads. Banning twitter just because of some measly reasons is just so childish in my opinion. It would be better if they restore twitter in Nigeria since people and businesses obviously needs it. Besides, they will only look bad to the masses if they still choose to stand firm in banning twitter since it just gives the impression of them hindering freedom of information which will not do them any good. They better grow up and get over their useless tantrums.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next 100x coin after bnb and after eth on: June 09, 2021, 04:38:41 PM
I don't wanna mention coins since I find it a hassle to be accused of shilling shitcoins. But what I can tell you though is that it is indeed possible to find coins with potential to grow. The only thing that would differentiate them wpuld be the timeframe required for them to mature and grow(granting that these coins have a great community along with a great use case and excellent developing team behind them). I suggest that you do the searching for yourself though since a lot of people may just recommend coins that they are invested in regardless of quality (shilling). Good luck
197  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Now that Trump said Bitcoin is a scam, are right wingers selling and leaving? on: June 09, 2021, 03:32:39 PM
I really don't think people in this industry would take the words of Donald Trump seriously. The guy clearly has no idea about what he is talking about since he is a close minded traditional kind of guy. Specially after all the tweets he posted on Twitter, I don't think that even the people who are unfamiliar with this industry would easily believe Donald Trump. Right now, I along with many people I know just share anything from Donald Trump for entertainment. The guy has made himself a laughingstock for a lot of people. Just ignore him, that'll be better for everyone.
198  Economy / Economics / Re: Permanent residence in El Salvador for crypto entrepreneurs on: June 09, 2021, 03:10:03 PM
Way to go for the guy. This guy's efforts will really pay off in the future, I am very sure of it. This will really make el salvador flourish since this gives way for its people to have more alternatives in terms of investing and managing assets/funds. I really think that thi will make a huge impact on the whole world and depending on the results, may indeed put pressure on other leaders to either support the idea of adopting crypto currencies fully or banning it entirely. I just hope that the plan really works so that world wide adoption of crypto currencies can finally come to fruition.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT hype is over, next hype please on: June 07, 2021, 06:01:24 PM
Well for some, maybe. But for most of the people, NFT really is something that is worth every penny. Specially for gamers nowadays who not only enjoys playing games that provide returns of investment but also for those who are into arts or arts that are unique in nature. Which is why I think that the NFT hype is so far from being over. And since this NFT thing is so new and can be seen by the masses as the new innovative trend with so much potential, I really do not understand as to why you think and a few others think that the hype isn't there anymore. Although hype was never needed by NFT anyway since it has a wide variety of uses.
200  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nigerian government banned Twitter on: June 07, 2021, 04:24:52 PM
This is very alarming. The headbof that country resorting to these things gives me a bad feeling. I think that Nigeria is slowly being dragged into a dictatorship way of ruling. If the people still chooses to be passive about this, I can only think of one outcome. And that is the head getting his ways without any problems. Now if this happens, it is pretty obvious that the country itself may fall into ruins. We all know already how bad the corruption is on Nigeria today, this would only make it worse. I really feel bad for the people in your country op. I hope things get better for Nigeria soon.
