181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 23, 2024, 03:27:26 AM
I believe PSG is an overall better team than Dortmund and should easily win over them.
For starters it's a miracle that Dortmund are actually here because they looked like the weakest team in their group and when it came to the quarter finals I really don't understand what happened to Athletico Madrid who were in a winning position and let the game go to BVB who really turned up the heat on them to qualify...

Btw, Dortmund have gotten better as the competition progresses but unfortunately we all know PSG has more firepower and this might be the end of the road for them as that Mbappe lead team is playing some good football!!

PSG are the top team in Ligue 1, they has defeated Barcelona in the quaterfinals, which is a second team on La Liga. While Dortmund is the 5th team on Bundesliga who defeated Atletico Madrid which is the 4th team in La liga. Every stats shows Dortmund have an easier path to semifinals.
No no no no, please tell me you just didn't do that...

If you are gambling person and are going to use this formula to find your winner , I think you might lose more money than you expect because football is not an equation and I would advise you go for form or history of the fixture. Otherwise Dortmund were lucky to reach this far because if we ask anybody to explain how BAYERN got here very few can explain if we looked at their form but history of the competition shows they are a beast...

The Munich vs Real Madrid would be the ultimate battle. The winner of this high stake match would be the favorite for the championship title.
Safe bet to avoid headaches, go for the history holders of the competition... Real Madrid and thank me later  Cool

This round seems to have produced some big results, seeing that 8/10 correct answers from Division 1 must be the all time high or "joint high" if not mistaken...

Btw cro2, is anything in stock for anybody that gets 10/10 as this isn't an easy task to achieve and 4 seasons are there to prove my theory Tongue ...

I am very unlucky this season, yesterday Jackson missed big chances and a penalty in free kick not given, today barca winning and loses in the 91st minute
Hope you didn't just sell your luck after saying this and now things will fall apart Roll Eyes

But hey prove us wrong if Lady luck is still on your side  Tongue
184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2023/2024 on: April 21, 2024, 06:09:29 PM
Manchester United might have won against Coventry but there is no @#$& way you can throw away a 3 nil lead with less than 20 minutes to play and you tie the game 3all...

How do you even explain to someone that you were in a comfortable winning position and got to play extra time and got the game to a penalty shootout...jeez Utd lads are too playful!!!

You know what, whatever outcome came from this, the manager Erik Ten Hag is definitely going to have to answer some tough questions today because I truly don't see him as a Red devil 😈 Manager next season...

ETH must go!!!
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understanding the Impact of Social Media in Gambling. on: April 21, 2024, 03:33:28 PM
A lot of social media influencers especially bloggers and YouTubers are promoting gambling usually at the end of their blogs or videos.
I could see a huge contribution and spread of information that they made especially during this time where the majority are using smartphones already. In fact, we've been seeing a massive increase in gamblers and online gambling sites. But how this could affect the mindset of the kids when they are also seeing these ads/promotions from the social media influencers they followed?
The fact that influencers are being used by gambling companies to boost their user base means more young people will be gambling and most likely try to get an easy life through it which is hard on the young generation as they can't be shielded from this... Perphaps these gambling platforms need new rules to such as ad's to make them age appropriate to protect the young minds and only deliver this kind of content to the adults only.

I could be wrong but this has a mental effect on them and at a very young age, they are exposed to gambling already which is supposedly not the right time.
Totally agree, this means it's either the working class won't be productive as the young gamblers will be thinking of their loss..if not this means that those lucrative careers such as being a doctor, mathematician, scientist etc will see a decline as people will prefer the easy route of gambling...

I think these influencers must know their target audience before accepting the offer or should not be included in their blogs or videos?
Non of those have the moral campus as they are interested in filling their own pockets and expect their audience to separate right from wrong by themselves...

It was a very interesting match and contrary to all expectations. It is certain that those who bet on the inevitability of Barcelona's victory would not have expected Barcelona to continue the match with ten players after Araujo was eliminated by a red ball.
aa
And the fact that teams such as Barcelona are known to be more on the disciplined side,I really did see the Red card coming but when it happened it definitely killed the game!!

PSG would not have performed well if Barcelona had maintained its full number of players. But as you know, in football, efficiency is not always the dominant factor because luck may play the biggest role. PSG was lucky this time in one of the most important matches of the tournament.
Very lucky indeed and if they play their cards right, we could see them in the finals as Dortmund isn't much of a treat if I weigh the two teams based on form and individual brilliance...and the most anticipated final is a Real Madrid vs PSG which is mouth watering, and hoping this is what we get...

Analysts confirmed that Barcelona's chances of winning would not have been diminished by the exclusion of one player, regardless of his position or performance, if the opposing team had not been PSG.
It's easy to say that Barca wouldn't have been eliminated had it not been for the card, but how many teams have defied the odds..teams such as BvB, Bayern are surprise packages as far as we know .
189  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where best to enjoy this forum... on: April 20, 2024, 07:29:29 AM
A look at the design of these forum speaks louder for it self... Saying you might not enjoy it using some devices...
When writing or reading I guess you know how it is with your android....
I didn't try it until reluctantly I decided to open bitcointalk.org on a computer system. Over there the difference was alarming compared to using your phone...
Come on bro the difference isn't much, besides most devices today have the capacity to handle whatever sis thrown at them..

Btw, the user experience on mobile is not any different from the desktop experience as far as my usage goes...unless a user is using some operating system or device older than 15 years that can't handle the simple machines UI... otherwise it's a small difference between the two.

As much as it can be used on phone it is best with a computer system... I even noticed that without a computer system some challenges or updates one will not be able to follow up...

When it comes to updates for example, PC or phone the forum alone isn't enough if you aren't using email updates to stay up to date..you need supporting tools such as the telegram bot notifier just so you can follow up any mentions of you and this is why I say PC and mobile are not much different.

Gambling addiction causes loss
Very true!!

And the thing about gambling addiction is that very few players can walk away from a table whether they are in a winning or losing position because they play till bankroll is zeroed in which is the most sad part about addiction...maybe our human nature is naturally greedy and gets the best of us such that we can't resist not to play as we want to win everything ...which is winning gamblers know when to walkaway!!

~ Gambling can never make someone's life better so gambling is never good be it for fun or for anything gambling is never right at some point they become so addicted that they lose their cash to get the money they need to live their life properly.
This is not entirely true, people have actually won life changing money from small amounts and we can't say  gambling can never make one's life better... if anything gambling is popular than ever before because of the high rewards that come with it but unfortunately few make it out with the treasures that come with it.

193  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you feel that the global economy is declining? on: April 19, 2024, 05:40:11 PM
One of my colleagues told me that his salary is lower now than it was five years ago. Sadly, the price of goods is rising.
This is definitely the literal definition of inflation: "too much money chasing few goods"

But the thing is that every country has its own indicators to show how an economy is performing, and things like technology, politics are among some factors that will influence how a country's economy will perform and can't be based on a global scale...And if we talk about our current times, so many indirect factors affecting our economies such as COVID, Drought, Floods, Earth 🌍 quakes, Climate Change, the War in Russia, Now conflict in Isreal and all this affects us direct or indirectly... Can we still say the global economy is declining, well it all depends on what safe guards individual countries have put but the factors described do leave a negative impact on economies for sure!!!

Btw read some article few days ago saying Russian economy is booming even with the war at hand, so like I said we can't use a global scale but individual countries scale to tell the performance of a country...
194  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to be more visible in the forum as a beginner on: April 19, 2024, 05:24:17 PM
Just  to put it out there not every newbie is a beginner, I have read some interesting write-ups from beginners on the forum and being noticed(visible) is about staying on board's you all more comfortable and knowledgeable about and interactions with like minded users comes naturally without breaking a sweat...btw for as long as a user  also avoids mega threads chances are high of standing out.

Oh and just a heads up, if you are going to be so desperate to the point of using Ai to write content, chances are that you won't survive being on the forum for a long time.. AFAIK the secret is to be as natural as you can and in no time merit will follow and ranking up follows..

Btw, the more a user contributes to technical threads/topics the easier it is to be noticed, what you do with this information is up to you  Cool
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆Rollbit.com | Champions League Pool | $11,000+ in Prizes ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: April 19, 2024, 06:23:53 AM
Barcelona fans shouldn't be whining about ref rulings because you paid tonnes of dollars to the UEFA refs to get decisions in your favour for decades.

I can while about it all I want I didn't pay tons of dollars Tongue

And I rarely complain actually, I honestly feel the red card was super wrong, he didn't even hesitate, dumbass just had a view, was sold the red and bought it.

Glad others see it the same way. I also said same thing about Arsenal wrong call too when Gabriel did 'kid mistake". I'm not a fan of either team and even I think I prefer Arsenal but error is error and the refs in champions league have been pretty shitty.

If you have VAR, to reduce errors, then please, use it.
Refs kill games week in week out and it's unacceptable to have this with all the technology available to them, tbh I wouldn't be surprised if they are doing the betting themselves for the $$$ or are affiliated with some betting syndicate.. otherwise too many bad calls going unpunished!!!

Btw, at this point it's safe to say teams are now playing with or against VAR and Refs because any bad call means one team gets to lose illegitimately and it's high time they do their damn jobs correctly!!!
196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: April 19, 2024, 04:41:40 AM
After seeing the result of the first meeting between Liverpool and Atlanta in Anfield, I knew Liverpool will not survive it.
In such a competitive competition, you can not allow such a gap to happen and worst part about all this is that it all happened in their own backyard and they have themselves to blame as a 3goal difference was massive!!!

Many people believed that Liverpool will make a miraculous comeback back as they did against Barcelona in the past, but everyday is not Xmas.
Honestly, If they weren't so wasteful that comeback would have happened, and Salah for starters  threw away a good chance after he failed to find the target when he tried to lob the ball over the keeper in a one on one situation , ebut that's football and EPL teams haven't been at their best in this competition which sacks...

I can confidently say that Klopp messed with his chances and it is very clear to him that he made wrong decisions by not taking the first leg in Anfield so seriously.
Too over confident maybe, and unfortunately won't get a glorified sendoff either as he hasn't brought in some silverware in his last season as manager of LFC.

Btw, I think first leg his players lacked the fitness levels required as they were coming back from injuries and what not...but less see how he concludes the EPL season as he says his goodbyes.
197  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake Casino Scam Locking 45k$ Balance on: April 18, 2024, 06:52:04 PM
But on a serious note stake still wont give me an answer on what happens to the bet, and my original stake, til my level 4 is complete. I am level 3 verified now (finally after completely re doing the verification process from level 1) so hopefully this gets figured out.

This was the email response from stake after asking about this case.
" Hello,

You need to complete Level 4 KYC before any further changes or communication can take place regarding this issue.

Regards,"
Some light at the end of the tunnel nice to know, but Stake should really have handled this differently unlike having to leave the player believing there was something wrong with players KYC Doc's.. probably it was done to avoid compromising their investigations but great to see that it's almost over...

Do share the outcome of this @jeffyeps

Also as my last message reads I would be offline till then. And since there is no responses on here after that there was no reason to come on here and talk to myself.
Despite stake not giving a valid reason for whatever they did, atleast you knew were the real problem came from, and seeing the NBA investigations are done it would be nice to have you update the thread on how this was resolved unlike leaving this open , good luck to you.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 18, 2024, 05:17:06 PM

Just looked at the stats of the Man City vs Real Madrid , like how do you explain City not going through honestly... they had the most possession and from the 30 shots at goal and 10 on target they only had one goal to show for , and match being played at the Etihad I really expected more from these guys..but hey this is what football is about, a few disappointments here and there despite playing so well..guess they now get to concentrate on the EPL with close rivals Arsenal...

 Grin
For Ancelotti, knocking Guardiola's teams out of the Champions League playoffs is routine (he's done it for the third time - more than anyone else), so he quietly enjoys the taste of his coffee while the team follows his instructions.
Last year City were able to take advantage of the fact that Real Madrid did not have a striker, but this year everything fell into place.
Lol love the humour...

Is it safe to say that the most decorated team in Champions league football can do this again, because surviving beating City is as good as a final and Bayern won't be much of a problem from how things are going...

Prediçted Final : Real Madrid vs PSG
199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin pump|before halving on: April 18, 2024, 01:56:34 PM
Looking at the current price,Bitcoin has pumped to $69K with a very high bullish momentum. My concern is can we see bitcoin rally to 100K before halving, bitcoin has increased by 40% so far.
Sadly the effects of Pre and post halving aren't usually positive in the short-term and history is there to backup my argument....if anyone out there is expecting price to have that bullish move that will write new ATH immediately, am sorry to say but this isn't happening as the real effects of having usually happen a year later thereabout unless with a new variable of the spot ETFs approval..this halving could actually be different  Cheesy

Am anticipating bitcoin to surpass $72K before halving, but JP Morgan give a contradicting idea saying "bitcoin would drop to $42K before halving " ....amidst investors buying more bitcoins.
Clearly JP Morgan is making his predictions based on historical data, what a smart guy lol but $42K is so low MR unless you intend to trigger the panic  selling from the weak hands for you to buy.. otherwise lowest should be 60K and we should rebound to break ATH of ~$74K to write numbers...
