181  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't worry, the market will not fall forever. on: March 03, 2018, 02:05:38 PM
Yes that's true it is normal that the market sometimes will fall , just like the exchange of dollars sometimes it is high so we used to be exchange it in peso , but sometimes it is fall so we used to hold it until it will high again.
When prices or markets fall then this becomes a good opportunity because we can get a good price, as long as we have optimism with the future then we do not have to hesitate to buy moreover when the price falls.
It is not just optimism or being optimistic.  When price falls,  people will likely buy coins because it is the way how they are going to earn  profit. It is also the smartest way to do when price dumps.  Anyways,  when price falls it will not really stay like that because people will grab this good chance of buying profitable coins at low prices. Some people yearns  for the price to be stable but ain't it what makes cryptos interesting and challenging. There is room for growth in bitcoin compared to  other  coins that is why most people invest into it.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you join ICOs that requires KYC? on: March 01, 2018, 10:17:59 PM
In my opinion KYC not necesary in every bounty program because this is will need extra time for that, and some bounty hunter can not provide KYC procedure because reason of privacy. KYC could be only for investor who purchased the token during ICO. And for me KYC procedure will become complicated because i joined alot of bounty program, this is will be not efisien for my job and i have to spend extra time for that.
Yes, you're right mate. KYC is not necessary in fact many ICO become successful without asking any KYC from their different participants in the bounty. Well, to those bounty want a KYC and makes me convinced to joined ,on that case I have no choice but to provide a KYC since they want to know their customers to avoid spammers as part in their bounty.
KYC is implemented to prevent fraudelent acts and spammers but not agreeing with it doesn't mean that you are a spammer.  Some people still like to keep the privacy that they have and their  anonymity. In fact,  being anonymous is what makes it more secure for me because personal information will not be needed.

I agree that KYC is good and will make ICOs secure and more legit but still personal information is more important for  others and that may be is the reason why some do not want and is not interested in joining ICOs with KYC requirements.
183  Economy / Economics / Re: Is your bitcoin earnings enough for you to start a business? on: March 01, 2018, 02:12:25 PM
I have a job, and I'm quite tired of working as an employee. I was thinking if I can make my btc earnings a start for a business, what do you think?

That's a great plan, I have a lot of friends who resign at their job and focus on their bitcoin. It gives them more earnings and more time for their families. You will only need to have a good internet connection. It is a good source of money, just study how it works and what to do when you have one.s
A good internet connection is not the only thing needed here.  I think the most important thing to have is self discipline because if you don't have these,  how are you going to comply with all the rules and survive in here?  Earning bitcoin may look easy but when the chart starts to go up and down,  emotions will be playing at the same time.

I have earned enough to start a business but I don't plan on starting yet because I am still studying and my focus is to finish my study first. It may be tempting but I don't think it is a good idea to leave a job just to go full time on bitcoin especially if you have a stable job and income.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite coins to invest (vote) on: February 25, 2018, 11:00:36 PM
I only picked BTC, ETH and NEO from that list. I have other favorite coins too but you listed only a few of them.
If it had VEN, OMG, PRL and LEND I could vote for them too.
True some coins that seems good for investing are not listed so I also choose three. Anyways, there are many coins that we can choose from it just depends on us, on what coin do we think and do we want to invest. Of course, bitcoin is leading and eth is just behind for these two coins have been living longer that the other coins. They have proven that by investing in them, people can earn profit and how big is it depends on how the person will manage to handle his method.
185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump and Dump. How to make a profit? on: February 25, 2018, 10:30:51 PM
I think pump and dump are the precious time for the smart and strategic investor because dump give everyone chance to get more coin at the lower prices to make money in the time coming ahead and one thing Is true that bitcoin gets a pump after every dump so the smart people buy at low and hold their coin until and unless their desired pump prices come and then they sell their coin and get maximum out of their coins.
Not at all time because sometimes when the price dumps it get lower and lower. The market prices are always in a roller coaster so there will no perfect time for anyone to sell or buy. Maybe it is just a matter of chance because you have sold before the price started to go low then you may consider yourself lucky.

We must keep in mind that prices are volatile so in order to earn profit you don't have to be just smart, strategic and etc. for me the most important is being aware of the prices which keep on changing over time,
186  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: February 25, 2018, 01:58:25 PM
If their money is came from their hardwork and sacrifices then millionaires are deserve by their wealth but if it is came from illegal work, they are not deserve to be successful. Millionaires who sacrificed a lot of time and effort to gain money are the one who I salute. They are more than the person who is hoping for a luck.
We all deserve what we are now since we are creating our own action so for me if you are earning now and become wealthy you deserve it for as long as you made it at a legal way and came from your sweat. So for me they all deserve it and if nothing happens to your life then it is also because of your action.
In the first place, why would they do not deserve what they have now? So what if they are bitcoin millionaires and they are rich? Many people maybe are still feeling envious of those early-comers on this industry so they think that it is not fair. For me, nothing is unfair with that because it is not their problem and their responsibility if many people did not believe about bitcoin years before.
In fact, we should idolize or look up to them because they are the ones who have risk the most. Bitcoin is just a crypto with a very low price before, who would have thought that it will grow and grow really big. Not knowing what the future of bitcoin will be, they invested and they deserved what they earned from that big risk.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you won/lost on bitcoin gambling ? on: February 23, 2018, 04:51:10 PM
I really don't count my loses and winnings but maybe I am just in the average of it, I am not a loser and I am also not a winner, sometimes I lost and sometimes I win in my gambling game and I think it also depend on a gambling games. For me I think there is no need for us to count our loses.
My point too, there is no need of counting loses in gambling because if you do so, there will be a time when you will feel the urge to regret all the amount of coins you have lost when gambling. Believe me, that's not a good feeling. You just have to know your limit and dont get so greedy of putting all your coin into gambling. That is why i do tell people, that if you win, take some rest before going back to play again.
But there are people who really are conscious of how much they lost or win. I am not like this because they end up always whining and making fuss about how much is it. They regret when it is a big lost and then play the next day like nothing happened before. People are just hard to understand but we have differences anyway in coping up.

Anyways , I don't play that much so there is no need for me to track or keep record of it. I also have limits for myself so that I won't be spending much in gambling. And if I lose, I don't dwell with it that much because the money I used for gambling was always a spare money. I always see to it that my financial needs are fulfilled first before anything else

188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without Bitcoin, Life Will Be Boring! on: February 23, 2018, 03:52:14 PM
I was thinking if bitcoin will ban from every country if bitcoin will vanish one day then what will happen? I got my Answer, Without Bitcoin, my life will be so boring! Now, I spend almost 7 to 8 hours behind bitcoin and bitcointalk, I love it, I enjoy my time. But if bitcoin dies! I can't imagine  Embarrassed

What will happen to you if bitcoin will die  Cry

(Long Life Bitcoin, We will go to the mars again very soon)
You took bitcoin seriously and obviously as your main job which is nice, but life won't become boring without bitcoin. It is like you get fired from real job and then you have to find another one.
Btw, average person works 8 hours, sleep 8 hours and have 8 hours of free time, you are saying that your life IS boring. Change your habits and life without bitcoin won't be boring.
True, it won't be the end of the world if bitcoin suddenly goes out. We know that many people have a normal life though they are not earning bitcoin, especially those who are in the provinces but still they are happy. It really is absurd to state that life will be boring without bitcoin, we can do so many other things non-related to bitcoin to enjoy and live life. It is just our choice to be involved with cryptocurrencies because we need money or we want to grab the opportunity to earn big.

I think this is already impossible, many are already so accustomed to bitcoin that it is impossible to imagine life without him. this is already a part of our life and it will only grow. although of course people used to live without bitcoin.
Not really, we can easily forget what is cryptocurrency if we want to just as how it is easy for us to be engaged with it and the idea of earning it. People are like that, they get interested but may lose it after while but of course, we cannot assume that all people are like that because there are some who are determined and persevere to reach they goal where earning bitcoin plays a big part.
189  Economy / Economics / Re: With Hackers everywhere, How safe is Cryptocurrency? on: February 23, 2018, 02:41:41 PM
Recently, I have experienced one of wallets being hacked which is very tragic for me. The hacker stole my SGG coin and UTK coin(which have been just distributed). What happened made me realize more how hard and hopeless it would be to recover what has been lost. The hacker stole a big amount which I planned to be used for house restoration but since it is all gone now, all I have is regret. Some people says that blockchain is safe but I don't believe that since day 1 because if it really is then why do people get hacked.

It's just a matter of how well you manage your account because no matter how well you protect your wallet hackers can always find their way, as part of mitigating and preventing risk, you can try backing up or try placing your cryptocoin in different wallet don't focus all your account in a single wallet because a wise investors knows how to spread or place his/her investments.
That is true but I have been managing my wallets well. I make sure that I am posting my address and not the key but since hackers are really desperate and smart, I got hacked and I have no idea how it happened. I know the saying "don't put all eggs in one basket" but I wish that the security for the crypto wallets be increased. The population of crypto earners are growing and I wish that the facilities like wallets, exchanges and etc. will also update themselves.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I told my grandma to put all her lifesavings in Bitcoin because you guys said on: February 22, 2018, 10:46:11 PM
I hope this isn't true because investing all your life savings in a market which is very volatile that just stupidity. Most people here are buying bitcoins with their spare money or with savings they have. Bitcoin is a very good investment but currently it's still in early stages and some countries banned it already so I don't invest in it it with my life savings.

Yes, it's not advisable, but in this case I think it was a good shoot, as they bought when BTC was pricing $4200 and now BTC is at $10.000... More than 100% profit already made in about 5 months. If they have already sold the BTCs, his grandmother must be very happy at this time!  Cheesy
Now it would be better to keep some BTCs invested and withdraw a good part of the profit, this way it's possible to reduce loss chances to zero, as ROI was already hit and any profit from now on it's just an extra...
It was indeed a good shot but I wonder what happened to them now? It was a silly and dangerous move to make because it was the life savings of his grandmother but good thing the price grows so there will be no one crying. I will also suggests to take what is originally invested or maybe more to sell and convert into fiat. It will still be better if grandma can see her life savings visually. It was a great risk after all. Anyways, putting the life savings of his grandma into investing is not a good move because he did it upon reading from this forum. Though it had been profitable but WHAT IF? Imagine the hardship and the sadness that will happen if it didn't work out.

Not that stupi if she have aready made that 2x return. IMO she should cash out becouse noone know what will be tomorow price .
Putting old people in crypto is rather risky behaviour .
For sure, the kid and his grandma's money result to a very big profit because of the growth in the bitcoin price. It was a big risk and not a good idea for risking the old woman's money. Old people needs money mostly for medication and emergency health issues so imagine how big the risk that child has put the money into.
191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin the best Long-term Hold? on: February 22, 2018, 09:45:28 PM
I have been in the market for awhile, and always hear the same mantra about trading to hold more Bitcoin and not Fiat.  I bought into the same mentality for a long time, but I'm changing my tune.  In almost every industry, first generation leaders are replaced by competition.  From Sears, Kmart, Nokia, Motorola, Yahoo, MySpace, etc.  Although Bitcoin is the current crypto reserve currency, I think that its dominance is threatened by ALT coins with faster, cheaper transactions and greater scalability.  What do you think?  Is it smart to hold Bitcoin as a long-term investment, or are there better choices among the ALT coins like Ethereum or Litecoin?

You made a good analysis. But coins can co-exist. So maybe in the future Bitcoin will be used more as a store of value, while other cryptocoins will be used for daily transactions.
Right,  not just people are investing in bitcoin but also companies,  establishments and etc. Bitcoin ia good to hold,  it may take a long time but that is the idea of it because it grows as time passes and it will continue to grow in the future.

It is possible to replace bitcoin in its spot but it will not be that easy for bitcoin is more known than altcoins. Altcoins may be cheaper to invest to but bitcoin is more known by people and is usually the coin to be first introduced as crytocurrency.

194  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think that bitcoin can reduce corruption? on: February 04, 2018, 03:09:38 PM
Now that governments have a competitor in terms of currencies, do you think that they will make an effort to make the economic system more transparent or will they just try to ban everything?
Of course they will just ban everything especially bitcoin because they will be threaten from it because you know people will choose bitcoin over currency of certain country because they know that bitcoin has much more value than their currency. And I think if government use bitcoin they will not let people see what they are doing so I oppose to your opinion that economic system will be more transparent because you know that transaction in bitcoin, media can't cover it.
I agree, the government will totally do anything just to get hold of something they know that has a potential for them to make their pockets heavier. They may not have power and control over bitcoin now but if people continue to put attention to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, I am sure that they will do something about it eventually. No one knows when bitcoin will be fully utilized as a currency for our every financial needs but the popularity of these coins continue to grow.

You are right that if ever the government also adopted and use bitcoin, their faults and everything they do in terms of financial matters will become more invisible to us. They could easily deny every financial issues since tracks or evidences using cannot be easily trace.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2018 end of the year BİTCOİN price on: February 03, 2018, 10:33:15 PM
Let's just look at the present situation with respect to a person who plans to invest in Bitcoin and it is for the first time. Definitely he would like the value of Bitcoin to be as low as possible. When Bitcoin touched $7,000, it was a good opportunity for him and other new investors. Dip is not that bad after all and we still  have 11 more months to go before 2018 ends so why being so impatient and mad at Bitcoin.
Right, that is a good perspective for those who are just starting to invest now. It is a good opportunity for them to buy and invest while the price is low. I know that many people always say that it is an opportunity, when in fact IT IS, but we cannot avoid situations wherein, "what is beneficial to others is painful to some". Of course, there are those people who gets angry or sad when there is a dip because maybe they need the money and the dip is not contributing to that.

obviously, it didn't start well this year . big Falls are coming one after the other, and they haven't been able to get a proper position . I hope this course does not continue to the lower levels, or does it start to collapse . first 6month:aprox 17/19usd end of year near 22k usd.
Just like what @cluit said, we still have 11 months to go before 2018 ends and its too long to be impatient that the price is not good at this time. Usually, the price gets higher in mid-year so we just have to wait. Don't get worried that bitcoin will go really, really low because that is impossible because as soon as the price looks very low many hodlers will take advantage of that to but more bitcoin.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Is Banning Ads for Bitcoin and ICOs on: February 02, 2018, 11:18:07 PM
I think one of the reasons is that these ICOs are really enticing and promises big returns. Most of of them are lending platforms that encourages beginners to invest.
I really do think that ICOs should be like that because if they won't be so smart and creative especially when it comes  to their advertisements how could they attract people to invest and participate on their project.  It is just their marketing strategy that they should look big.

That is right. I think the crypto currencies investment is still very risky. So it is better to be invested by the experienced and informed users, not general public.
You have a point there but for me the reason why there are crypto advertisements is not for people to invest right away but mainly to give awareness that such digital coins  exists. Social medias are a good way to spread awareness so it is juat reasonable to think why there is so many crypto ads around.
197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Trade - Which is Better? on: January 23, 2018, 11:41:23 PM
Having seen the massive rise of cryptocurrency prices in the previous year, I have seen that if one gets a coin at the right time and holds it before the prices pumps up, there would be huge gains. But then, the frequent bearish attitudes of the markets also affords one some gains.
Among these two strategies, which is better and which d you recommend?
Prior to engage in trading, you need proper understanding, analysis and timing.  You also need to devote some time and focus to be able to get the chance of earning. On the other hand, holding cryptos doesn't necessary or require the above mentioned requirements. You do not extend some effort because holding alone cryptos give you chance to earn.  I also advice to just keep holding rather than trading if you are busy person but on the other hand trading is best for people with many spare time.
Holding and trading is both a good choice to earn and save cryptocurrencies. The difference with these two is the time duration and the kind of effort you are going to allot. In holding, there really is no need to put some effort because you will just wait for the current price to get high for you to earn profit. For me, trading is for those people who wants to control their earnings and for those who wants to apply strategies for them to be make out the best from trading by earnings profit as much as they can.
198  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you start from zero cash and make a living with the opportunities in crypto? on: January 20, 2018, 10:48:52 PM
Yes you can start from zero cash and make a living with crypto opportunities. Join bounty programs will  give you free tokens . You can also get free coins from airdrops . Invest what you get or trade for maximum profit.
There are no airdrops before so clearly starting from zero but depending on free tokens is not an option before. I have started when bitcoin price  is much lower than the dump price today.  Before, tokens can only be earned by working hard.  I started with zero savings and I can say that it is possible to start with that.  What I did is to start earning bitcoin first so that I will have funds and it worked out and still working.
199  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia on: January 16, 2018, 06:15:47 PM
Hello

I have some deposit issue on Cryptopia. Someone has some experience with them?  Good or bad?

I wrote them a customer support letter which never got answered. This is about 3 months ago now. I managed to figure out the problem myself, other than that everything went alright.

The same thing happened to me but it was with another exchanges and I have also contacted the support but their answer was just not helpful. I have to wait for almost a month before my transaction got processed and it was really annoying because at that time I really don't know if the problem was on the exchanges or with the blockchain (which certainly has many transactions that causes delay). Anyways, I am also using Cryptopia but I never had a deposit issue with it. Cryptopia is a trusted exchanges and as far as I know if there is a problem with the deposit and withdrawal sometimes the exchanges are upgrading or updating.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: January 14, 2018, 11:57:38 PM
In fact, YES! I never encounter but I'm sure it will used in crime because it is digital currency and hard to find the people behind that transaction. For example, the criminal pay online using the bitcoin and the drugs will get in the said place, so that it is hard to know the transaction and who is the criminal.
