Here is the full log, when I start the miner: ----------- The other thing that is bugging me, that in the both archives uploaded, have identical sizes, and both give me the warning "Catalyst 13.12 is REQUIRED for best performance and compatibility", although the files in the archives are different.
I use driver 14.4, set swap to 20GB, system memory is 2GB, 6 x 7950 cards. Operating system is Ubunty Server 14.04 LTS. Tried both versions, 13.12 and 14.6, both are giving me the error above.
1. The actual error is "Internal error: Input OpenCL binary is not for the target!". Something is wrong with Catalyst. I tested on 14.6, perhaps there is some compatibility problem for 14.4 on Linux. 2. Both versions show "Catalyst 13.12 required" because I did not build EXE twice for Linux. Probably I must remove this message in Linux version. The only difference in versions is "data.bin" file.

I got a blue dead screen when mining XPM with HD7990,anyone got this ? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Have you tried "troubleshooting" section from readme file?

finally I have Linux version finished and now I can work on further speed improvements, for some cards it's possible to get some additional speedup. Please look at 7950 cards, i have just 26cpm on asus 7950 (elpida memory, 3gb, 1050/1500) Thanks ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) What is 26cpm?

Tried the new linux miner, although I run into problem. System configuration is Ubuntu 14.04 Server LTS, 14.4 drivers. When I first ran the 13.12 miner, it gave me: -- GPU memory allocation failed. Try to set at least 16 GB of Virtual Memory: Computer Properties / Advanced System Settings / Performance / Advanced / Virtual Memory -- Tried with 14.6 miner, same error. Increased swap to 20GB - same error on both version of the linux miner.
I remember, that in windows version, I was able to run 14.6 version with 14.4 (yes, it was not optimal performance, but at least it worked)
What am I doing wrong?
I used default OS config, I did not change any settings for swap etc. Check your RAM size, I use 4GB and it works for 3 290X cards. So actually 16GB swap file is not required for the Linux version at all? edit: when I try to run the miner it gives me GpuMiner k1a failed -48 error on all the cards, the machine is with 2GB ram, 800MB used, when miner starts, the usage goes to about 930MB. I suspect it is not a memory or swap size problem. What is the chance the problem to be with the 14.4 drivers I'm using? If you use Catalyst 14.x - use version for Catalyst 14. If you use Catalyst 13.x - use version for Catalyst 13. Otherwise you can get a lot of strange errors and warnings. If you have some problems - describe system config in details, not just what error miner shows.

Where is v7.0 windows version?
Is it faster than previous version? v7.0 for Windows will be available today. It is not faster, the only improvement is GPU fan control. However, finally I have Linux version finished and now I can work on further speed improvements, for some cards it's possible to get some additional speedup.

Claymore, Can you add temperature on the console interface?
Miner shows temperature/fan data every 30sec. Use "-dbg 2" option to see data every 3sec.

You know...As far as I know, VMProtect does not exist for Linux, and the antidebugs there are quite lax, this is probably the best moment to patch nofee option to use full speed, but no donation.
While I may not agree with the current fee amount, do you really think it's a good idea to do that? Depends if the reverser would have fun in doing so(doing re). You can do everything you want, of course. I want to get some experience and see what will happen with version for Linux, I will use this experience in future miners.

I uploaded v7.0 for Linux:
- Added Linux support. - Added GPU fan control ("-tt" option).
Tested in Cent 6.5 and Ubuntu 14.04. v7.0 for Windows (with fans control) will be available in a day.

Make sure that miners shows "fast mode enabled" message. If so, the only thing you can do is to try different number of threads and see the speed. With 15MB cache 6 or 7 threads is the best (Windows and/or other apps can "eat" some cache). No other options are available.
tks, only one problem is why Pool Diff 25000.1 DevFee: Pool Diff 35000.1 readme show : 1/20 share for you , how to confirm the share diff ? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Devfee Diff depends on pool, it sets the Diff. Some pools set high Diff for devfee wallet to reduce server load, if set devfee Diff 1/20 of main Diff, miner will send devfee shares with same speed as main shares (though devfee shares will be in 20 times cheaper than main shares), but it will cause high pool server load because it must check all shares, both main and devfee. By setting high devfee Diff, pool reduces its load by almost 50%. If devfee Diff is same as main Diff, you will find about 1 devfee share for 19 main shares (exactly as described in readme file), you can check this stat: enable debug logging, run miner for an hour or longer, then check log file and calculate shares ratio.

i wouldnt bother, they will change the algo slightly to make it gpu resistant again......... they did it once already Do you think they will fork coin after launch? Well, it's useless anyway.

GPUs temperature control module will be available in windows miner ?
Yes.
|
|
|
This miner won't work with M7N, for M7N (or M7M, I don't know ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ) I'll release own miner in a few days.

I've added GPUs temperature control module to the miner. Tomorrow I will try to finish tests and release Linux miner.

Speed depends on L3 cache size, one thread takes 2MB. So if you have L3 cache =10MB you won't get better speed if you set threads >5, instead, you can get even worse speed.

it crashes before providing any details about bugs. ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) the bat file runs fine until it tried to run the miner... then it crashes. 1. What CPU do you have? 2. Do you use antivirus in real-time protection mode? 3. Windows version? 1. i5 2500k 2. I'm using avast. I have tried to disable it and then run the program but it still does not work. 3. Windows 7 64bit. Try to start default "pool.bat", do not change anything, just unpack miner and start pool.bat. If it fails, add "-dbg 2" at the end of command line in pool.bat and post log file here. If no log created, something is wrong with your system and I don't have any ideas what it can be, sorry.
