Panalo yung picks ko nung nakaraang araw, baka gusto ninyong sumabay, malay ninyo swerte ako. hehe.

Golden state Warriors tayo -11 lang. Back to back ang Pacers kaya pagod yan for sure.
Thompson and Curry combo pa rin kung wala si Draymond Green, ayos lang sa akin basta mag cover ang -11 na spread.
1822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will cryptos go into Bull season? on: January 19, 2022, 11:29:29 PM
Cryptos have been counting the ups and downs in a balanced way lately. A coin that increased by 15% today, 2 days later we see that it has decreased by 25%. To what do you attribute this fluctuation?
When will cryptos enter Taurus month? Does anyone have any enlightening information on this subject?

When can ETH catch up with BTC?
I really hope so, that way I am sure that we would end up with a good profitable year once again. This is something that we all want, I mean if the whole community wants to see something happening then I doubt that it would be very hard for people to end up rejecting the whole idea. Imagine a scenario where you are actually doing fine and profiting, along with everyone else, that sounds nice right?

Well, why wouldn't we have it if we all want it? That is the case here as well, we had a bad drop because people got scared but I am sure that people are getting braver and braver again. When people are brave, they put their money into crypto, and when it goes up, others get braver as well, it is basically a way we share courage with others and that is how we make money as well. I can't say when it will happen or even if it will happen but I know that is what we want to happen.
I guess everyone here is hoping for that to happen the soonest time possible. And since bullish season is a good time to harvest our profits, then we should better prepare for it now through buying at the dip and definitely hold. If our coins have already reach our target selling price, then that will be the perfect time to sell as bullish season comes up with good prices in the market that will make us even more profitable.
1823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do I feel as though I don't have enough knowledge of Crypto? on: January 19, 2022, 09:56:32 PM
You are not the only one who is experiencing such a thing because, to be honest, even crypto professionals still fail and lose. Crypto is a long process of exploring and learning so it's fine to commit mistakes sometimes but keep in mind that you should learn from them. The best thing to do is to continue learning because every day, new resources and opportunities are existing.
Crypto trends will always change with new things so we need a place to update discussion information about crypto all the time, my main guide for getting information is on the bitcointalk forum because it is factual information and not just a problem for bad purposes, the rest will confirm information on the influential twitter account in cryptocurrency.
I think there are still a lot more that we should learn about crypto, and with the current events and trends, its best if we could make ourselves updated so we can have more chances of not to lose, but more on making profits. And bitcointalk forum here is already very helpful so we can be more aware on what is happening in the crypto market. Remember that the key for you not to lose from investing or trading, is to make yourself knowledgeable at all times because that will be an edge for you to come up with good solutions on the problems that may be a barrier from making profits.
1824  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Bulls Are Coming Back Soon, Are You Ready To Ride? on: January 19, 2022, 09:00:58 PM
Yeah I hope bull season will be coming soon and we are ready to take entry as dip level.it is not only the first time of market dip.as we seen many times at was at low level but again we saw a bull season.
I’m also hoping for the increase in the market, if the bull run can take place this year then it would really be good. Although I’m quite happy that the bull run took place last year and I was able to make profit from the investments that I have made in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. But at the same time, I am also ready to have patience and wait for the market to increase, if it is going to really take a long time.

Because the opinions I have seen so far are quite divided, there are those who are saying that the bull will be repeating itself again this year, while others are saying that if it does happen, it would be for the altcoins market, then there are also those who are saying that it is not going to happen at all, rather the market would stay stable for quite a long time. So, the best thing I would do for myself is just to have patience and keep holding.
No one can hold the future so what we have right now are all speculations, that may sometimes become true or not. But i still believe the bulls are really coming back, but after all this bearish season. And there's no need to rush for it since the market will always have its own cycle that will drive the market. For now, we are seeing more of a bearish market since majority of the coins are in low prices, so definitely this is the best time to fill our bags with cheap but potential coins. And maybe right here, we can be more prepared when the market turns into bullish and reaches new peaks for established coins.
1825  Economy / Speculation / Re: are we going to have "fear" months? on: January 18, 2022, 09:37:18 PM
It is totally volatile area, fear or volatile months are normal here. We don't know what happen in these months even we can't predict next day. So be patient and don't go with panic sell or panic buy, conquer your emotions nowadays. We can't go with fear in this market so let it be.
It may be easy to say, but hard to put into practice when you can't control your emotions. Your advice isn't bad, but it would be much better if you were one of the holders who had a certain amount of bitcoin in your wallet so you could really feel how hot this hand is when the market is correcting. At least that's how I feel when I have bitcoin but the market down. It's not scary, but it can sometimes keep you from getting a good night's sleep. LOL
Yes, its really hard because i've been there. But the question is, does it help the situation to be better by having us to fear? I guess it will even worsen the situation once not properly managed. Fear is something that is already a part of being a human but if we always tolerate it, it will only make us deprived from the opportunities that this bearish season brings. So lets be practical, this is not the best time to fear about what is currently happening, divert your emotions into something useful like buying at the dip so we can be more profitable if this bearish season will be over.
1826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Growth of Bitcoin? on: January 18, 2022, 08:51:48 PM
Whales are essential as well, we cannot just cut off the manipulation that comes with the rich people investing in cryptocurrencies like bitcoins but most of the times their decisions are influenced by the economic situation of the country and also right now we are in the middle of the pandemic so with respect to people loosing their jobs, lack of money, security, lack of healthcare I think people are anyways pulling out their investments. Most of the times whales don't even sell their coins, they move them and on knowing people panic and due to panic they are the ones who actually kills the price. Plus with the adoption of Bitcoins in more countries and more areas you can expect the general public to invest more in there. The future is definately bright, it's about usability as well and not just the value as an asset.
Let's just accept the fact that as long as bitcoin remains to be volatile, whales too are also becoming inevitable from manipulating the market. But its not all the time that when bitcoin drops, whales are the main reason. If its time for its bearish cycle to move, majority of the coins will certainly suffer from price decline. And as bitcoin grows over the years, despite of its volatility case, it will also increase its adoption not just as an asset alone, but more on as a currency that can serve as an alternative to fiat.
1827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 18, 2022, 02:09:17 PM
Westbrook was one the best / most athletic guards I have ever seen. At one point in time him and Derrick rose were the most athletically gifted “smaller” guards I had ever seen, but I’m not so sure he can be considered an elite player anymore. He’s getting to the latter part of his career and he’s simply showing signs of it.
Westbrook is still at his prime IMO, if he was not traded to the other teams and continue to play with the OKC Thunder, I think he will remain a triple-double machine as he is the king of the team, not in the Lakers where there's already Lebron and Davis that he is playing with. His athleticism is very evident, but his shooting accuracy is very poor.
1828  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: January 18, 2022, 01:29:44 PM
Dalawa lang pala ang laro bukas.

Minnesota vs New York +2.5
Detroit vs Golden State -14.5

Sa spread na yan mukhang babalik ang si Curry and Green, tingin ninyo, trap ba or opportunity?

1829  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A guide for beginners to learn trading on: January 17, 2022, 09:04:08 PM
but sometimes trading also depend on our luck.

Don't always believe that trading is about luck because it is not same as gambling. Do your rigorous training and learn about what it takes to trade, it is not considered as luck. There are guides that you can use to prevent your loses to be huge and if you can pick more pips as profit than pips that you lose then you don't see it as luck. You need to learn the ropes to a better trade, learn technical aspect of trading because it is important.
Trading I think is very complex and we need to learn everything related to trading,
both knowledge, skills, and mentality are very important to support in trading,
so we really have to prepare it all as well as possible
We really have to be prepared mentally for trading since this can consume your whole body and if you don’t know how to control yourself you might lose your money. Learning everything may take time but at least once you’re ready you can start to trade now and be more profitable. Don’t be afraid to lose in trading, its normal just do what is right and you should be fine. Trading is a never ending analysis and learning, be more patient with this.
True. Trading is somewhat complex so you should never stops learning from it. And thanks to you OP as you provide clear guide for beginners on how to trade with more understanding and of course with long patience. Although there are a lot of online tutorials available but its up to the trader alone where he can find more clarity on the guides and be able to understand it more so he can perform trading successfully.
1830  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 17, 2022, 07:58:19 PM
I guess your investment plan will certainly work for 2022. But make sure if you chose to invest in shitcoins or meme coins, make a deep research first so you will have good basis why you think those projects will make it to the top in the future. Sometimes, shitcoins could be more profitable than those established coins, but nevertheless, there are still higher chances for good and established altcoins to be more profitable compared to shitcoins. So always think before you decide.
Some people usually like to hop on shitcoins and meme coins because they feel that these coins are likely to have up to a thousand percent return on their investment.

But, that’s not usually the case, because it is almost impossible for you to find a coin that is going to see such increase or even be successful at all. And most people who invest in shitcoins hardly gain anything from the investment.

I agree with this since most people new to crypto will jump when there is a hype coin, which I do not understand or they are just so dumb that they don't do their own research about that coin. If you are a newbie, I do say that you will make a couple of mistakes before you can fully understand the best coin to invest in, which is really a hard lesson, but as long as you learn from your mistakes, then it is better than making a couple of mistakes again.
The fact that most of the new investors these days came on the market with less knowledge but very eager to make profits so they always chose those hyped coins over those established coins for quick profits. Yes, they are really making profits from them but only in a short period of time, and after that they keep on losing already, to the extent that what they lose is bigger than what they have gained. Hopefully, this will be an eye opener that we should always be equipped with knowledge before making such investments because this will help us not to fall investing in wrong coins and end up wasting our time and money.
1831  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: January 14, 2022, 08:47:26 PM

For the longest time, walang KYC documents yung ni-require ni coins.ph pero biglang hiningan nila ako.

So until now level 2 ka pa rin?
1832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether is centralized, is it worth holding on: January 14, 2022, 02:11:35 PM
Tether is a centralized coin that has a fixed value, 1 tether = 1usd, so it's not worth holding as you only hold a coin that increases its value over time like bitcoin and altcoins which has a fixed supply. I only use tether for trading as that's the only purpose I find it suitable for me.

We have to understand first the value of the coins in the crypto space so we will know how to treat them.
1833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 14, 2022, 11:26:39 AM
I remember these scenario, looks like big companies are trying to manipulate the whole PBA system, and as you can see some teams are sister company in reality, they really want to monopolize the system and yet, PBA also wants this since there's money on that.

Since big companies that are already in the PBA are having a good set of players, these teams are some of the big reasons why PBA is getting a crowd. Therefore, a win-win situation at both teams and the league. Without those teams, PBA won't be able to sustain their operation that's why they are keen on getting an expansion. Business as usual on which is not new. We need the next Manny Pacquiao that is willing to spend big money to enter the league.

As per my comment about these players playing abroad, just let them play. These players will soon be back. I truly believe that it won't affect the current status of PBA since it's not that majority of the best players in the league will get that offer.

PBA needs to have a competitor and I think MPBL will soon become their close competitor where players can transfer vice versa. We know that PBA is the leading basketball league in the Philippines, but the real essence of competition is on the MPBL style or format, no sister team so no more speculation of rigged games.
A wide spread competition that allows all sides of our country to compete and have that fair chance to win the title,

Unlike with PBA, which mostly 2 business tycoon who will bank the title, the concept of MPBL is widen this sport and produces more stars.

While with PBA, it's limiting the numbers of pinoy talents, even you have that skills if you don't get quality minutes to play you'll end up

sitting on the bench and cheering with your teammates.. Roll Eyes

I guess the PBA should be aware that the MPBL is improving, if they'll not improve then probably one day they'll be surprised that MPBL will be the top basketball league in the Philippines. It doesn't matter if PBA is controlled by the reach persons in the Philippines, what matters is what league the fans will support.
1834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 14, 2022, 10:54:53 AM
Bucks just destroyed GSW last night for sure. They got a huge 118-99 win home and they really deserved this one. Bucks were just perfect especially in the first two quarters. I really didn't like Curry's performance. He was like terrible. I don't criticise Klay Thompson yet as he has newly bounced back from a long-lasting injury. But I hope to see Curry and Thompson starting to put on a great show.
I think it will take some time before the splash brothers will find their chemistry. They have been practicing together but real games are entirely different. As we can see in the stats, Klay Thompson's shooting is very bad same with Stephen Curry, when these two will struggle, then most likely the team will lose.
1835  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC has crossed $43k what's next? on: January 14, 2022, 08:25:36 AM
I think we all need to chill a little bit about of the current trend of the market since it makes people do wary and uncomfortable at the same no matter where the market price go. Let the market do what its usual movement do then hodl and wait, there's always a right time for buying and selling. Staying up late night just to predict or see the price movement doesn't help you to make profit at all. Well, staying up late doesn't but predicting price maybe.

Right, let the market do it's natural thing, otherwise we might disrupt it's natural flow with every spike in prices. So just like what we have seen, it went to $44k, but now goes back down to $42k.

There is no upward momentum.

If you are aiming for a long-term investment it's better to wait for your turn and stop wasting time when the price is in dip yet. Just read more about the trend and you will know when there's a pump.

I guess there are investors that are very excited to see a pump in the price because lately we have seen worst, and others think that we are already in a bear market. But if we see signs like this, we might have a second thoughts and be optimistic that a second round of bullish phase will happen this year.
I think the reason behind that some investors are very eager for another bull run is that they only have limited funds at the moment and so they can't make a big purchase in this time of correction. While others are filling their bags with potential coins, some are only hodling their old coins and just waiting patiently for the perfect time to sell. And if by chance bitcoin will make another price increase again, lucky are those who have bought from the dip since they will surely be in profits by that time.
1836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: January 14, 2022, 06:10:53 AM
Agree with you, at least Donaire is a real champion who is not afraid of losing, unlike other fighters who are just making sure they will not lose and because of that they will just choose to fight a fighter that they are certain they can dominate. I know some but I won't mentioned the name as I don't want to hurt the fans feelings, lol.
I will call them the smart champions, preserving their reputations, belt titles and money. While real champions are those you mentioned.
Not everyone who is undefeated makes good money in boxing, for example, Crawford, it was reported that his fights are not making money as expected, and that is because of a bad matchup. Mayweather is a good example of a boxer who knows how to market his fight, he is not humble but he is really good, even Pacman did not beat him, in fact, both of them really made a lot of money when they fought, I think that was the biggest fight in boxing who made a lot of money.

1838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to buy and hold on: January 13, 2022, 11:49:55 PM
I don't know about you but for me I will only hold coins for long term if we see a unforgiving bear market ( better buying opportunity ), I believe bear market hold the key to long term holding, I can't buy coins at high price sorry ( present market is buying at high price) and decide to hold for years, I will only buy now to sell later ( short term ).. stupid idea? Let's hear your thoughts

That's a good idea if you're thinking that way of long term holding, only problem when you're choosing bad coins to hold which couldn't bare a good price in the future. Most importantly, your asset must come with a strong support from a good community and has a good project roadmap. Unlike my previous coins, they're roadmap failed along the ways and the value these days was really disappointing.
Its very disappointing on our part if we can start buying shitcoins and end up in a terrible loss. And this is the reason that before you decide to buy and hold, make a depth in research first on the projects that you want to invest. There are some projects that seem so unattractive at first but later on, the project create a huge demand on its community and end up hitting its success. Other projects too seem so powerful and very legit, yet in the end they turned into scams.
1839  Economy / Economics / Re: Peter McCormack: 'Bitcoin has WON the war on money'. Do you agree? on: January 13, 2022, 08:48:54 PM
Bitcoin has not yet become full-fledged money, that is, it has not become a means of payment widely used in society. Repeated surveys, including on this and other similar forums, have confirmed that bitcoin is extremely little used to buy goods and services. Under such circumstances, it is still too early to even imagine that it will be able to surpass the currency of states and gold as money. And the cryptocurrency is not able to do this. The states will never allow this.
Its still very early to declare that bitcoin beats them all because the fact is, bitcoin is not yet globally accepted as a means of payment because it has its own issue that the government won't be able to adopt it. And i don't even think that bitcoin is invented in the first place to make a race with fiat and so with gold. Of  course, we all know that bitcoin has higher profits compared to gold but still, majority of the people still chose to invest in gold because its value is more stable than bitcoin and there is less risk on it.
1840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: January 13, 2022, 02:33:46 PM
Both of them has something to proved, Spence wanted to remain on top of this division, while Ugas wanted to show that his win is no fluke against Pacman.

And this is a great style matchup, both can be aggressive and can also play defensive and then be a counter puncher so this is really a great fight in paper although Spence will be the favorite but it will be more closer that we anticipated it to be.
Yes you are right there mate this two fighter want to prove that they are the best  in their division . If spence will win this match then it makes sense that Spence is still undefeated and the best. But if Ugas will win this match I think that's the time that Ugas will be known in everywhere cause this fight is the one of those biggest fight of ugas sense spence is undefeated and very popular in the world of boxing.

And that is what I'm trying to explain, plus both are in their prime years of their boxing, so it's really a hard call right now. Although in paper, Spence is the favorite.

Ugas though is not that far away, he has been in this division for many years and maybe it's about time that his name will be in the discussion because we have been talking about Spence vs Crawford and now we have new name in Ugas that can throw this division off.

Ugas was thrown out in the conversation because he is not undefeated, and he loses to Porter which Spence and Crawford beat. So you can tell by the record alone that Ugas is not really a tough challenger, he was only lucky that he fought Pacman with a problem in his foot, so I don't know if he can still win if he will fight a healthy Spence.
