921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 02, 2023, 08:12:00 PM
So he might go with Thurman here, I think it will be good to include Thurman in his resume as well. He has a lot already, Danny Garcia, Ugas, Porter, and if he can add Thurman in his resume, it looks like he has clean the division not name Crawford.

The only way to declare him as the best in this division is if he can beat Crawford. It's his biggest rival and probably his biggest fear too because it seems like he is not willing to give a chance for this big fight to happen. Instead of getting into an undisputed fight, he chooses a challenger which is Thurman.

That's a straight fact you got there my friend! Dealing with Terence Crawford and end the fight in Errol Spence's favor is the one and only way I see to get Spence's name clear in the line and to be named as the best boxer of the welterweight division because defeating Crawford now will also mean that he will be the undisputed champion at 147 pounds.
If he can do that, there will be no argument nor doubts anymore about him, but that is if he will fight Crawford inside the year of 2023 because delaying their fight also means that he's just scared to face the current Crawford.

I guess you guys can really say that because it seems that Errol Spence is somehow afraid to face and fight Crawford, and if that is truly the case then facing Boots Ennis as well in the future will be a tough challenge for the current 3-belt holder because Ennis has been compared to Crawford when he was a bit younger that what he is today and some says that Ennis is an upgraded version of him. Because of that, I'm inclined to see Ennis getting his shot to face the belt holders.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 02, 2023, 07:31:08 AM
On another subject, Luka is doing unbelievable things and we can't not talk about it. Last 3 games: 48.67 points - 13 rebounds - 10.67 assists. I mean, come on. Even though he is not one of the players I personally like, he is surely amazing. Doncic is a person who works with trash talk like MJ. More precisely, if you trash talk to doncic, you are most likely activating doncic's god mode and unpleasant things are happening on the field. Devin booker tested it last year, for example. He is one of the most exciting players right now and definitely one of the most important players for play offs, maybe the most important one.
Pops said he will try to keep Luka Doncic under 50 points in that game against the Spurs. He made 51.  Grin
Jason Kidd said he was not the type who trains hard but when it comes to competing, her inner monster will come out. What more if this guy is training like hell?
Luka is truly amazing, his skill set is unique, and he can slow the phase down or speed it up by creating a fast break by passing the ball for a home run like what he did versus the Spurs, I think he made 5 home runs there.
Whenever he and Jokic will have a match, I will definitely not miss it. That's like a battle of the geniuses.

And a slow game for sure because these two are like changing the phase of the time whenever they play Grin Anyway, I looked up on their future match-up too see when will be the game of Mavericks vs Nuggets because I'm also curious to see it. Found out that these named teams will clash on February 16 at the Nuggets home.

Back to the topic, it's funny that Pop tried to control Luka's points and that they are aiming more to control him so that he won't be scoring 50 points, and the funnier thing is that Luka gave the joke back by scoring 51 points. Also, I'm curious what Luka is like when he is at the height of his prime because he's just 23 years old and is already breaking records by putting a 50+ and 60+ points.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 02, 2023, 03:40:24 AM
To those loading up on the Bucks beware, Giannis is not playing either...

That's $20 down the drain. Last time I checked before locking the bet the guy hasn't reported any knee soreness. Right now the Wizards are pummelling Bucks and the latter can't seem to find any openings to take back the 20-point deficit. That's a rough loss because almost everyone thought the Greek Freak would be playing. Hachimura and Porzingis are just shooting from downtown freely, while Kuzma is just taking the rebounds necessary to convert to points. If only they could get out the information earlier...

I'm surprised as well why Giannis hasn't played the game today against the Wizards, sorry about that mate but seems your loss was favorable to my side because I rode with the visiting team which is the Wizards. I'm not that too sure about the bet I did because there's still Giannis, what made me bet on the latter was because I'm thinking that Giannis will end up carrying the whole team because Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton won't be around.
Maybe Mike Budenholzer chose to let Giannis rest even though he's not on any injury because the team's lost is almost inevitable.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: December 31, 2022, 10:31:15 PM
The size advantage of Ryan Garcia is a huge advantage, in terms of quickness,  he is also quick so that will offset with the quickness of Davis. It would only boils down to who would hit a clean punch first and let's see if that will result to a KO , because if not, that means they will be able to absorb their opponents power and this fight will go an exciting 12 rounds.

That is true, however, despite of Garcia's size advantage, it will still be hard challenge on his side to get a clean punch towards Davis considering that the latter had a vast IQ and knowledge inside the ring that the young Garcia doesn't have. But yes, I do agree that in the end, this fight will go down in the favor of whoever boxer that can manage to get a clean punch that will definitely give a KO.

Surely, we haven't got any thought about Nash's lack of experience as a head coach because we're too focused to the three drama queen that has been making headlines ever since they teamed up, after all, it was just Nash who can't control the superstars in his stable that he was once under his watch. I'm just glad that the Nets management managed to have the correct choice and keeping Durant in-exchange of freeing Nash. Made some sense why KD has been quite after firing Nash.
I still think Steve Nash is a good coach, maybe the Nets is not for him with veterans all over their roster. If given one more chance to lead a young team he will surely learn more on how to keep everything under control and maybe that will also add to his experience on how to manage them.
KD and Kyrie, two stars, veterans in the league, they want a respected coach or someone who will just stay silent if they both want the game to be in their shoulders when it's needed.
No play required, just give them the ball.

Why isn't Steve Nash considered a respected coach ?  I don't really know how he is viewed / perceived by the league overall, but lets say he's not a respected coach, then I'd certainly agree with you that they need to hire someone whom is.  However, hiring a coach who will stay silent and just let the superstars play and do whatever they want, I don't think that is the right way to go about getting this team closer to a championship.  If they don't respect the coach, then that will ruin the entire teams chemistry.

I understand what you're trying to get into, I know you're just trying to say that these superstars should learn to respect whoever their coach is rather than letting them to dictate the whole game while running wild and loose, also, they should control their ego once they have any misunderstanding with their coach. But I'm also thinking that maybe that's not the case here, Kevin Durant is probably not that fool to make the management choose if there's really no issue. Maybe, just maybe, former head coach Steve Nash doesn't know how to control the superstars and to guide them properly. Because what we're seeing right now is that the Nets are in a much comfortable situation without Steve Nash in the equation.

My picks for tonight.

Milwaukee Bucks (-6.5) vs Minnesota Timberwolves = Milwaukee Bucks Win 1,83 Odds.

Milwaukee Bucks (-1.5) vs Minnesota Timberwolves = First Quarter Win 1,78 Odds.

Good luck guys.

Milwaukee's first half of the game was bad. My first quarter bet also lost. They returned to the game in the second half and won the game.

Happy New Year Smiley

They manage to win the game and cover the spread, their 3rd quarter big run is just solid, Wolves were not able to have a big run anymore to beat them. I also won this game, I had the Bucks at -6.5, I got it early so the spread was good, congrats to the winners, til tomorrow.
We are celebrating the new Year in the Philippines but tomorrow we will not be busy anymore, so watching the games is going to be a priority.

We have plenty of games tomorrow including an early game the Clippers vs Pacers, I'm going to be on the road team here.
Pacers have a good home record but the Clippers also have a decent road record, plus they came from a loss against the Celtics, so they might bounce back here and stop the win streak of the Pacers.

Happy New Year mate, what a long night of celebrating the New Year.

I'm watching the Los Angeles Clippers vs Indiana Pacers right now, I'm getting a vibe on the home team @ 2.20 and because of that, I will be riding them this time. I don't know why, just a whim, I guess Grin and I'll be adding New Orleans Pelicans @ 2.95 vs Memphis Grizzlies while Zion and the rest of the company are still hot and on a winning streak.
927  Economy / Gambling / Re: Consider open live casino (street gambling games) on: December 30, 2022, 08:57:33 PM
maybe in a free country I think playing directly gambling on the streets looks interesting too but it doesn't apply to countries that prohibit gambling of course it's not worth doing, by the way isn't open direct street gambling going to open up opportunities for crime from foreigners around you , because it looks like that is the problem even people might be more comfortable playing casino with their mobile phones with gambling sites compared to street gambling directly open
Gambling in streets could easily attract gamblers at all ages since it’s an open live casino, but yes it will never be allowed for those countries who are not gambling friendly. And the crime rate could be higher too since it gives freedom for all scammers and criminals to easily roam around and look for their new target. That is obviously the reason why this kind of casino is not allowed to happen as there could be a lot crimes and scandals that will surely take place.
928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It Is Possible To Invest In Crypto Currency Without Buying Any Coins. on: December 30, 2022, 08:23:07 PM
If you don't want to buy crypto from any exchanges then only P2P is your best option but as you said above your other option is to mine the Crypto it's not hard to build a mining rig or if you don't want to build then you can buy ASIC units it is PlugNPlay and mine a coin.

Another option is that you can build your own website and sell services, digital goods, or any product you can offer then accept Crypto as their payment. Don't forget the signature campaign, you already wearing a signature it means you are earning coins or BTC that's another option.

Right. Accepting you salary in the form of bitcoin or any cryptocurrency will always be considered a crypto investment too, as you can easily keep them in your wallet while waiting for it’s value to surge high. If you can save some of it, then don’t bother to buy anymore at any centralized exchanges as there is still transaction fee added. Or you can just open your own business exchange if you have sufficient funds, and maximize your crypto hodlings.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: December 30, 2022, 07:38:56 PM
I follow Duelbits Christmas giveaway since day one and I still can't find the challenge that I know that I can win.

Does completing bonus is still possible and profitable or it's just like chasing the wind?

since you mentioned duelbits and christmas giveaway then in my experience there are several challenges that are not difficult to follow such as betting on a World Cup match with a bet amount of $ 10 with min oods 1.5 to get freespins, also deposit cashback which before changes apply was quite profitable and lucky to be able to get completing these challenges get prizes and also win in slots.
But I rarely chase casino bonuses because the requirements are very high, so in my opinion players have to be careful and take into account all the possibilities that can be achieved, but more than that, they must be prepared to lose.
Actually I never go for gambling bonuses as I never see it necessary as well. Because it’s still another way of making the house more profitable since you can’t play them free without spending the required amount. So it’s like spending money and lose them eventually. However, there might still be lucky winners possible, but we don’t know the amount they lose before they achieved winning from free spins.
930  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie I stay off shitcoin and it paid off, Bitcoin is the king. on: December 30, 2022, 06:59:06 PM
If you are honest with yourself you would state you had a drop also in your Bitcoin investment, and guess what that is not really bad because crypto-currency is volatile. Yes just like you I prefer Bitcoin over Altcoin and I am also yet to get any Altcoin but I don't down play them out rightly.

Your friend did not lose because he invested in Altcoin but rather he invested wrongly, there are still Altcoins that has there heads above waters even after the FTX saga, advice Sam your friend to stop going for Hype, FOMO or FUD but rather do his research.

This is part of truth alot of bitcoin investors hide from people. Thank you for pointing it out. His friend failed because he invested in wrong altcoins and not because he invested in altcoins because there are some altcoins that are still giving investors profit till date. Even him would have lost something from his bitcoin investment since he bought because he must have bought high then. Bitcoin also suffers loss.
This has a point. Even bitcoin does not guarantee profits all the time that’s why I still don’t see it as a secured and guaranteed investment. When you start buying bitcoin even at a low price, then you opted to hold it for long term, then you lost your focus since the value keeps dropping, so you get panic and start selling it at a lower value. That alone is still a loss, not just for money but also a waste of time and effort.
931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling For Fun - What Does This Mean To You? on: December 30, 2022, 06:34:11 PM
I share the same thought.  For me, gambling for fun means raking in winnings, rewards, and bonuses.  I also agree that it is not fun to see our bankroll depleted during our session.  I also don't believe that people are trully gambling for entertainment's sake (without the thought of profit).  After all, what is our reason why we are betting and wagering amoutns if we don't hope in winnings?  So yeah gambling for fun to me is gambling to win.  But of course, I always gamble on what I can afford to lose.
Same here. No one would want to gamble in the first place without wanting profits, because for me that’s the initial motivation of a gambler, to play and win. But of course, since gambling is mostly a game of chance, you cannot guarantee profits all the time. That’s when we have to be open both losing and profiting. So yes, I also share the same thought, when I won, I became happy, but when I lose, that doesn’t mean I need to be mad. As long as I still play with satisfaction, that reason alone is profitable already.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If your friend would tell you this... on: December 29, 2022, 08:33:00 PM
~snip~
That's too risky and for sure that there is no guarantee that you will win, and it is a bit of luck if you ever won. The question is if you are really an experienced gambler and have tactics for winning the game. Also, what if you lose the money? What would be your excuse?

Eventually the person will lose the money, and the friend.

It's a no win situation, I wouldn't do that at all.

Everyone should gamble whatever they want, without involving other people, that's just asking for trouble.
Gambling is all about losing, so we should not expect for our capital to double or triple even if we have the skills in gambling. Gambling offers no guarantee for money making, because it’s always designed for an entertainment, and not the other way around. So if that friend insists to gamble that huge amount, I will always do my best to win but he should also be aware that in gambling there’s always inevitable losses especially if the games are giving high edge to the house.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 28, 2022, 10:58:17 PM
I consider myself a gambling addict. However, unlike gambling addicts, I'm aware of my addiction and I know how to control it. What I love most is playing poker and also sports betting. The latter is the one that screws me the most. Even though, I can get some real good profits,
sometimes I get wild and end up losing all of my money.

To avoid, running after the loss, I have set up the responsible gambling in my account and it helps me a lot to control the bad beats against my will to recharge my account and ending up losing it all again.

For me this has been working for quite some time and it was a way I found to prevent me from throwing money that I need away.

Any of you guys uses the responsible gambling feature? If so, what do you think about it? Is it helpful or does it only gives you a sense of control

Based on your explanation, I can see that would be very helpful for those who are losing control of themselves and just lose consistently in gambling. Gambling responsible feature will be a huge help for them not just to avoid some inevitable losses, but also to put limit on theirselves when it comes to gambling. However, for me, seems I won’t be needing this feature this time and as long as I’ll be able manage myself, losing in gambling will always be somehow in full control.
934  Economy / Economics / Re: What was your lowest point financially? How did you go through it ? on: December 28, 2022, 09:13:24 PM
Went almost 100% on a shitcoin in 2016 that caused me to basically start over. Bounced back in 2017 by creating online businesses and went high allocation on bitcoin.

While I would've been in a far better place today if I didn't mess up in 2016 (still haunts me a bit, not gonna lie), there's nothing for me to do than to accept that huge loss as an expensive lesson and just move on.
I guess you are not alone that time as most of us here has also fail into shitcoins and lose our funds. That made me realized that there’s always less chances to secure profits when we put more allocation to shitcoins more than bitcoin. That is why I have learned from then on to focus more on bitcoin more than any other coins in the market. And I’m thankful for that since I was able to recover my previous losses slowly, and I swear there’s no place for shitcoins anymore in my portfolio.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia on: December 26, 2022, 02:52:40 PM

We just cannot blame them if they chose that path where risks are minimized and they can retire without any single loss in their whole career, although, they cannot also blame the people if they won't get any praises from what they expected because people really know what's the score. And in every bout that you avoid, people will also lose that respect because they will no longer believe that you are strong and haven't feared anybody. Just like what's happening with Errol Spence Jr. now.

If that's the decision they choose then so be it, I agree with your argument both ends have their respected rights in order to choose
what they've believed.

If fighter decided not to pick a risky matchup, then it is their right not to do it, while earning respect and praises from the fans might not be there
but the money and the belts are enough as an achievement.

It's their journey whatever path they choose to travel then we can't force them to change directions.

Exactly, they have the right to do it because that is their life and as fans, we cannot really dictate what path should they take because they are also thinking of their safety. After all, boxing industry and other combat sports is still a business where the parties involved just wanted to make money as big as possible.

Back on the topic, I'm already excited to see this fight and I bet it will be an explosive one because both parties is a knock-out artisan, and of course, after the fact that this bout is already possible after years of going back and forth, and throwing words at each other. Finally, they can settle this rivalry.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco on: December 26, 2022, 01:32:22 PM
I think this is already made verbally, as long as Haney won against Kambosos and then Loma against the young Ortiz.

So by principle this is already set up by Top Rank, both fighters are under their umbrella so it make sense that Arum will have to make this fight, fans wanted it, and all in house money for him. Probably we will just have to wait for the official venue and date but I will say that 99% this fight is made already.

And yes, this is going to be a great match games, style makes fight as we say, so it will be another test for Loma's ability to overcome a very technical boxer such as Devin Haney.

Agree, this is a set-up which i think will benefit the boxers and the fans as well. This fight is 99 percent a go because they are under the Top Rank promotions and i could say that Bob Arum is just selecting a date and venue that could maximize the revenue of the proposed fight.

Poll has already been added and based on the comments here, we could expect an even result from the voting.

Surely a win-win situation for Bob Arum because either way, he is the one who will organize the future fights of the undisputed champion because both boxers are from his stable and we already had the same speculation about this bout few months ago where both of the said boxers still have their own respective fight to overcome before facing each other. Now, it's almost certain that these two will share a ring, few more details and it's good to go.
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 26, 2022, 01:11:09 PM
The Celtics and the Warriors are the favorites to win the championship this season.

The Celtics hold the top spot in the standings, and their current performance looks much better compared to the last regular season. So the Celtics can really be called the favorites of the championship, and it looks like they have a good chance to reach the finals again.
At the same time, I wouldn't call the Warriors the favorites this season. The Warriors are 11th in the Western Conference right now, and I guess they'll drop even lower in the standings as they've performed pretty mediocrely without Curry.

I do agree with this. The Celtics gets more impressive as time goes by and the experience they got last season gave the team a huge boost for which they needed to become what they are this season and honestly, I'm not surprised to see them standing at the top of both East and West conference while the defending champion are struggling to get on their feet without Chef Curry. Although, that's something expected especially now that they lack defensive players because they freed them before the season commenced.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia on: December 25, 2022, 07:24:40 PM
Also, I'm just confused with Tank's statement lately because he suddenly throws an issue with no proof that his future foe, Ryan Garcia is taking PEDs.

What's his intention with his statement? I think it boost my confidence in Garcia that he could beat Tank if they will fight. This kind of statement are from fighters who are already making excuses because they believe that they have a chance to lose in the fight, so if in case Davis losses, we already know what's his excuse.

Well, guess what? This line and the situation is very familiar lol. Yeah! That was when Mayweather were afraid and worried regarding his perfect record after seeing Pacquiao dominating great fighters.
Throwing excuses during pre fight is worse than making excuses after lossing the fight.
That's the downside of having a perfect record, fighter tends to avoid fighting another great fighter just to retain that perfect record as much as possible until he retires.
Look at Spence and Crawford, the match seems vaguely happens, because non of them wants an L on their records.

They change the real definition of a great boxer, they think that once they retire with an undefeated record, that will make them a great boxer. Unfortunately, that is wrong, not all the time as even Mayweather who retired as undefeated, but still, many fans would choose Pacman over him as the greatest boxer of their generation.

Thurman was lucky to have fought Pacman, although he lose but he will always be remembered as a strong warrior who is not afraid of an L in his record.

Being undefeated doesn't make them the all time favorite boxers because viewers are observant and they know who the real good fighters are. Even great fighters experience losses and if a boxer really wants to prove his strength, he shouldn't be afraid to face anyone who wants to fight him not just because he wants to keep a perfect record. They shouldn't be making excuses.

Just like what's happening with Errol Spence Jr. now.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: December 25, 2022, 06:33:37 PM
How sad is it to earn your living and money from the cruel killing of the cock fights? I do not think anyone can sleep properly if they saw how cock fighting in being done and here we are talking about earning from this business whether is directly related to conducting this fight or indirectly through gambling on these cock fighting matches.

By the way, if cock fighting was a part of culture and popular among the masses, it would not be banned by most governments. We only see this game being played in certain backward areas and modern people have already abandoned this sports.

I'm not a fan of animal fighting as sport but it's always funny where people choose to draw the line. People use horses for racing, they flog those horses so hard so they can go faster, but that's okay. Scientist use different kind of animals for experiment and a good number of them die but that's okay. People pay millions to see two people in a cage beat themselves with all they've got in the name of UFC and that's okay. People even make fortunes from it through gambling and other ways but that's okay. It's cock fight that y'all draw the line. Funny.

Yes, people are saying things that they shouldn't be like this and that and asking too many questions about why these certain sports are considered legal yet they didn't know that there's a lot of sports that are far more cruel. Just like the ones you stated mate, people are just choosing where to draw their line and it's just a matter of personal preference. This world we live on are already cruel than what we have thought and there are some things that we cannot change, it's just better to keep ourselves some distance if there's some things that we don't like while also respecting their decisions.
940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Qatar world cup Final Predictions on: December 25, 2022, 06:13:08 PM
Portugal defeated Switzerland 6:1. In that match, Ronaldo was not in the starting lineup. He went on the field after 70 minutes. Santos picked the optimal squad for the match. But it didn't work against Morocco. I think Santos simply underestimated the Moroccans. All in all, this is a good coach who made a small mistake.
I never knew that the world cup trophy is such a unique thing and that no one can touch it.
I read on instagram that Salt Bea is banned - because he touched the trophy.
That's is very new thing for me.
Honestly, I still can't believe that Argentina is the world champion. Lionel Messi's dream of thousands of days has come true, he has repeatedly reached the semi-finals, finals but has not been able to win the title he deserves. This time, through the brilliant performance of Lionel Messi, Argentina went ahead and defeated France in the final and was able to win the World Cup title. Through which Lionel Messi's football career is fulfilled.
It is clear that Salt Bae got waaaay too spoiled because of all the attention he got. Famous people all around the world kept going to him and shoot videos, and that caused him to think he is celebrity above celebrities, he started to think like he was hot s-t and that went to his head.

Why would he be allowed on the field when it was Argentinians that won the cup, players families and organization people from Argentina and so forth makes sense, but Salt Bae has absolutely nothing to do with this at all, he is %100 irrelevant to this win and the cup itself. If you bring him out and tell him he has the right, you just feed his ego which got out of hand that's it.

I'm just glad to see that Messi gave him some struggles first before Salt Bae can take some pictures with him, Messi surely knows that it's their moment to receive all the credits after all they've been through and I'm sure all those players are quite confused what's happening because Salt Bae's there with them. Now, it's good to know that he is banned from seeing any word cup especially the upcoming one where it will be hosted by America. What he did was just too disrespectful to the whole players and the organization.
