1841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2022 Crypto Dead Projects List on: December 29, 2022, 10:49:55 AM
I'm pretty sure the number of failed/dead/extinct projects are way bigger than this, we all know new projects spring up on a daily basis and more often than not they all either fail, or scam people, and that brings an end to the project, either way the project doesn't succeed.

I don't even think it is actually possible to get the exact number of projects that failed this year, because trust me they are so much. To think that people lose money everyday in all of these projects, but nonetheless the next new project still allures investors, i guess it is what it is, and nothing is going to change next year or even in the future; for people who do no know what they are doing/how to handle altcoin risky investments, they better basically just invest in Bitcoin that is sustainable for the long run, and that wouldn't go extinct like most altcoins do.
1842  Economy / Economics / Re: Hope for cryptocurrency in Nigeria. on: December 29, 2022, 09:45:44 AM
The main reason why Nigeria is banning crypto is because it wants to protect her already dwindling economy
The Federal government of Nigeria hasn't/didn't ban Bitcoin, the ban by the CBN on the processing of crypto transactions is more about lack of understanding than in a bid to protect the dwindling economy, because crypto is providing something for the populace in the country, whereas the government has provided absolutely next to nothing, thus i find it amusing that the federal government of Nigeria continually say they are trying to protect people from the volatile crypto market.
thier politicians loot public funds tends to stash those money in a safe place and that's the crypto space
Quite rightly Nigerian politicians loot public funds, but as for where they stash it, i think it is far away from in the crypto network.
1843  Economy / Economics / Re: Save your environmental economic cycle on: December 29, 2022, 09:27:16 AM
Online shopping and physical stores are both directly or indirectly part of the economy. Most physical stores these days also have their own online market for customers that are far away and cannot drive down to the physical store, and even many of the people who sell commodities online are into drop shipping, they sell to customers directly from the manufacterers because they cannot affort to rent a physical store. Imo both the large and small scale market are important, and people/customers would eventually have to choose what's best for them, and sellers will have to adapt.

Having said that, talking about adapting, smaller shops in street corners can adapt by understanding the sort of goods that people in their community would need from a local store without having to go to a bigger store or online, thus they can have those sort of commodities on display for fast sales, if they try to compete with the bigger online market they might be out of business sooner rather than later.
1844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 28, 2022, 05:19:17 PM
This match brought together the two European giants. of course, fans don't want to be disappointed by what they watch.
I am pretty sure none of us would have wanted this sort of game in the RO16 stage, i mean this was last seasons CL final, we would have been happier if this game came in the later stages of the competition, but i guess it is what it is, it is just like the PSG v Bayern Munich game, these are big matches worthy of being a CL final, but we are going to experience them quite early in the competition.

Having said that, i don't think there's any chance in hell that the game is going to be boring or that fans will be disappointed with what they'd see, i am expecting a very open and entertaining game, the both sides are usually always interesting to watch, thus i am not expecting anything different in this game. Well i expect Real Madrid to come out victorious like they did in last seasons CL final.
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 28, 2022, 03:14:35 PM
Despite the new season just starting, Man City's first match is scheduled to take place tonight against Leeds United. There should be a rain of goals, and I predict that Man City won't win, but they will send a clear message to Arsenal, their real rival. As for Erling Haaland, I predict a hat trick or a brace for him.
Well, a new season isn't just starting, the season started a few months ago and only went on a one month break due to the WC, now that the WC is over, club football has resumed as well. You said there is to be a rain of goals, City would send a clear message to Arsenal, and that Haaland would either score two or three goals, and yet you still predicted that City won't win, i don't see how that's possible, because in any City game that there is a rain of goals, there is a pretty high chance that City would win because it is very difficult for teams to outscore Manchester City.

Having said that, with Arsenal already 8 points above Manchester City as things stand, Pep and his boys would very much understand that this game is a must win for them, and imo i think it is going to be a pretty straightforward victory for the boys from Etihad.
1846  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello Im new in crypto but i have idea on: December 28, 2022, 01:35:06 PM
Then how i make money in crypto?
I want to make 1000$ daily atleast then i see this crypto Has some point.
Everything still boils down to possessing the necessary skills and patience, though $1000 per day is a bit over the top and somewhat unrealistic, but just basically talking about making money through crypto requires skills and patience, nobody would pay you if you do not have anything to offer them, and if you do not have the patience to learn skills that you can offer, then it all comes down to the same fact that nobody is going to pay you a penny in the crypto market.

In your case, you clearly do not have any skill set for now, and it doesn't look like you have the patience to learn, you seem to want things pretty fast, something like a get rich quick scheme, mind you that it doesn't always end too well for people who quickly want to make money through crypto.
1847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Preparing For 2023? on: December 28, 2022, 12:40:13 PM
So, how are you preparing for 2023, what or which altcoin are you buying in preparation for 2023?
Just to continue accumulating Bitcoin into my stash because it is the only project that i am certain is sustainable for the long period. For investors that would want to accumulate altcoins, they better know that altcoins are generally short term projects, and buying them now that we are still deep into the bear market is quite risky, quite a lot of them might not even survive the bear market and they would be dead before the bull run begins, thus it is much better for altcoin investors to wait for the bull run to start before they accumulate on altcoins, it is less risky for them to do things in that way.
And speaking of new altcoins, ive been investing in Renec in preparation for 2023, Renec blockchain is one of the best projects I've found so far, the project was fully launched in October 2022, since then, usage and activities on the Renec blockchain has been increasing day after after, it's one project I wouldn't want any body to miss, so I urge you all to check it, you can start your research by joining their community on discord - https://discord.gg/Vw9ykjAWGh
This coin is still relatively new and risky, i'd be careful recommending it to people, for all we know it could basically be a scam project, or a pump and dump coin. People should always do their own research anyway.
1848  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: CBN don don eye 6,047 BVNs for 419 matter on: December 28, 2022, 12:18:21 PM
Omoh the CBN come they enter news well well these days oh, e come be like say them don they take their duty of financial regulation seriously oh, lol, as a citizen of Nigeria i go support anything wey go ensure say the country move forward as long as innocent citizens no go fall victim at all.

Having said that, E just they like when CBN bring their policy on withdrawal, i bin no support am for some few reasons, but as the amendment show, i come see say the thing don they fair and good, thus make them carry on. My problem with this BVN matter wey them don eye na im be say some people wey no commit fraud, but based on say them no loud their means of income, fit fall into wahala, e just they like EFCC matter, as long as you be fresh guy wey they do well, them go tag you yahoo boy, even if you never steal one naira from person before, e they vex me. If the suspects are truly fraudsters, then no wahala, but if people wey low-key work hard for their money come they affected, e no go make sense at all.

Darwin Nunez, who was brought in in the summer of 2022 to replace Sadio Mane, played far below expectations. I think Gakpo is really needed at Liverpool to catch up in the English league as well as prepare for the Champions League match
Darwin Nunez hasn't really been as bad as people think, i know he hasn't scored as many goals as people expected him to when he arrived at Liverpool, part of the problem/pressure on him is that City signed Erling Haaland around the same time Liverpool signed Nunez, and whilst Haaland is firing on all cylinders, Nunez isn't doing quite the same thing and people are making all sorts of comparison all over social media.

Having said that, i think Nunez would eventually be a hit for Liverpool, and ironically the signing of Gakpo could help his career because sometimes competition helps a player improve, i think the competition in Liverpool's attack would help all of them to improve in order to play, and it would be a win-win for the players individually and the club too.
1850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 27, 2022, 08:43:11 PM
Easy bet ! I actually cant believe that I got over 2x odds on Chelsea to get cleansheet against Bournemouth. I didnt even flinch when I saw this and immediately bet on it which turned out to be a good bet.
Congratulations on your win there, you got a pretty nice odd for that bet, though i wouldn't call it an easy bet, you know in football anything is possible and Bournemouth might have gotten a goal out of nowhere/nothing and there goes the bet, but good for you that Chelsea managed to keep them out for the entire 90 minutes.
Probably due to the World Cup that bookies deemed some club might not even get clean sheet on their first game after break
Prolly so, or maybe they just consider the odd worthy of a bet on a clean sheet in a game like that, it has some risks you know, and the odd is worth it imo.
1851  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Be aware of Santa Bitcoin, stay ahead. on: December 27, 2022, 07:58:01 PM
Investors will gnash their teeth in loss and pain and then move on. The fraudster will move to another project and the circle repeats itself continually.
Well what's inexplicable in all of these is that despite the fact that most of these investors lose quite a lot of money, they'd still invest in a similar scheme yet again sometime in the future, you'd think that after their first loss and once they move on they'll learn their lesson that the crypto network isn't basically a get rich quick scheme, but they absolutely do not. These fraudsters would continue with this scamming cycle because they know they'll definitely allure investors, or rather victims. Quite a lot of these investors might even be scammed multiple times by the same team of scammers, but under different schemes and pseudonyms.
1852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 26, 2022, 07:41:46 PM
And while Newcastle managed to move up to position 2 in the standings, surely Alan Shearer is now very proud to see the performance of his former club being able to compete with other top teams. Talking about the champions league, of course this will be a great start for newcastle to compete with other strong teams in europe, maybe later the opponents will be surprised if they face newcastle who is now so strong and great.
Not only Alan Shearer, but absolutely every Newcastle fan would be buzzing right now, the crazy thing is that they are putting up all these excellent and impeccable performances when they are yet to pump in the money they now have into the team, we can now imagine what would happen by next summer when Newcastle starts to make formal bids for brilliant footballers, it is safe to think that in a couple of years they could be way above the level they are now in the EPL. If they can get into the top four this season and secure CL football, it then makes it a whole lot easier for them to allure world class players.

Having said that, i have been saying it for a couple of while now that i don't think Newcastle can finish in the top four and qualify for the CL next season, but they are proving me wrong with every win they get in the bag, they are up to second now, and even though i think the top four would definitely be made up of four teams from the big six, Newcastle look like they are fired up to change that status quo, i wouldn't count them out for now, but i would still stand by my earlier statement till i have a reason to bend on it.
1853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing with your alt bags on: December 26, 2022, 07:21:11 PM
I think you just should accumulate more and more coins so that when bullish comes you gonna make good returns
Accumulating quite a lot of altcoins in a bear market is pretty risky strategy i must confess, altcoins are generally short term/pump and dump projects, and quite a lot of them wouldn't even be extant by the time the bear period is over. Having said that, i would encourage people to use this bear period to accumulate more Bitcoin into their stash/portfolio, Bitcoin is definitely going to appreciate in price once the bear market is over, and even though some altcoins would also appreciate with it, you cannot predict the ones that will, thus it is much better to buy Bitcoin now, and prolly buy altcoins when the bull run begins, that way you can buy and sell them for quick profit.
1854  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Amendment of the CBN cash withdrawal policy on: December 26, 2022, 04:53:26 PM
I been wan know if all this limits and fees actually get to do with online transactions or na just withdrawal of physical cash at any withdrawal terminal?
The limit and fee/charge na just for withdrawal, wetin CBN wan do na to regulate cash wey they in circulation, them wan make people they do most of their spending via mobile and online transfer, the policy na cashless policy, so it affects only the withdrawal of physical cash. As for mobile/online transfer, the fee wey you they pay for am remains the same, nothing change via that way.
And secondly this news and development better pass the previous one because even me wey this matter no go actually affect directly I even feel bad because I know say e no suppose be so and I come dey reason the possibility of a company with over 100 workers go take cop for tis very law but thank God say fortunately them don resolve am.
My brother i no sure say you understand this cashless policy matter oh, e no get company wey they pay their workers with physical cash na, them go transfer their workers salaries to their bank accounts na. This policy only sets limit on withdrawal of cash, you can wire amounts running into millions daily via mobile/online transaction. We don discuss this matter tire, you fit go back read wetin senior men for this board don yarn about this matter, coupled with the links wey them don drop about am, so you go understand am wella.

Chelsea have started their Declan Rice chase again.
Declan Rise would cost Chelsea so much money, but i think it would be very much worth it for them, we are talking of a figure that could rise to about £100m. Declan Rise is very good, though i don't think he is worth that much, but i guess it is what it is, the crazy transfer market, the English hype and every club looking to make the most out of their star player, thus if Chelsea want him, they definitely have to pay well to get him.

Having said that, Kante is very well leaving in the summer as a free agent after all these good years with the club, of which i am sure they would be thankful to him for, now to replace the French superstar with Declan Rice is a great move for Chelsea, and they wouldn't have to worry about the defensive midfield position for a very long time.

Martinez Emiliano the Argentina's goalkeeper is too good that he is capable of saving every shot coming to the net, this may be problem for Liverpool to win the match. Aston villa has quality goalkeeper that matters alot .
Lol, Martinez is definitely not going to be between the sticks tomorrow, WC finalists/winners get extra days off (10/12 days after the final i guess), but even if he was going to be in goal tomorrow it doesn't mean he wouldn't get beaten, i mean, he is a good goalkeeper no doubt about that, but i don't think he is anything close to world class, and even world class goalkeepers get beaten many times when they are left exposed.

Having said that, the best goalkeepers often keep for the best teams, and they concede fewer goals because they have a strong team/defense and they hold the ball more often than not, leaving them exposed only a few times of which they will save some and concede a few. But a goalkeeper in a small team would be exposed many times and will concede many goals no matter how good they are, if Martinez was to keep tomorrow, it won't stop Liverpool from scoring more than two goals, because they will definitely control the game, open up Villa and have many shots at their goal.
1858  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Amendment of the CBN cash withdrawal policy on: December 24, 2022, 09:30:45 AM
Soon the average citizens of Nigeria will be forced to keep their money at home, their won't be need for banking.
I don't think so, this withdrawal/cashless policy has nothing to do with trying to force people 'out of the banks', it is just a policy that the CBN thinks would help regulate cash in circulation and aid in the valuation of the naira. The problem i had with the policy was earlier on when the limits were set at 100k (for individuals) and 500k (for organizations) weekly OTC, and 100k weekly at PoS services and ATM stands, i felt that it would greatly affect individuals whom the government have provided nothing for, but have made out things for themselves through running PoS services, it would have ruined their businesses, though this amendment isn't a panacea to that, but it makes things better for them; other than that i don't see anything wrong with the policy, you don't have to withdraw/hold cash to spend it.

Having said that, holding your cash in your home is too risky an option, banks are relatively safe for you to keep your funds and if you are struggling to withdraw as much as you want, you can basically pay through mobile transfer or with your ATM card; a better option if you don't want to use the bank would be the Bitcoin network.
1859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 23, 2022, 05:53:19 PM
I agree with you that most likely Newcastle will finish in the top 4 and get a UCL ticket for next season
I sincerely do not think so, i know Newcastle currently occupy third position in the League standings, and that's an amazing feat they have been able to achieve, but mind you that it's just 14/15 games played in the League thus far, with so many more games yet to be played. There are quite a lot of strong teams vying to finish in the top four position, these teams are far stronger than Newcastle and i think they will knock Newcastle out of the top four spot, at best Newcastle might finish 5th and qualify for the Europa League, but to get a CL ticket for next season seems too much for them to achieve. There is the big 6 in the league which is: City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs, the top four would definitely be made up of four teams from the big 6.
1860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 23, 2022, 01:50:52 PM
As reported by Transfermarkt, there are several rumors regarding the future of Adrien Rabbiot in the next season and several clubs from the EPL seem to be interested in signing him. There's Manchester United, Arsenal and Spurs? I think if he comes to Arsenal he will only be on the bench, whereas going to Man united or spurs it could be a good option for the midfield of the team. What do you think?
I don't know how true the rumor is, but Andrien Rabiot wouldn't be a bad option for any of the clubs mentioned above, and whilst talking about playing time, a lot has to do with the player himself, if he comes into the team and proves himself to be indispensable, then there is no way the manager can leave him on the bench, because it is only logical to start your best players, those that can lead to you victory more often than not.

Having said that, amongst the three teams i think Spurs are the least when it comes to competition for the midfield position, thus they might be the team he could prolly get ample playing time in, Manchester United have Casemiro, Bruno Fernandez and Eriksen, Arsenal have Partey, Xhaka and Odegaard, i think in Spurs they have just Hojbjerg, Bentancur and a few others, but i think they are the team that Rabiot might find more easier to break into the starting eleven.
